Ok.

My name is Loona. I'm a mercenary hellhound. I escaped the Hellhound Orphanage that I lived in during most of my childhood; I managed to escape during my early teen years when it was easy to get past all their security. I didn't believe anyone was going to adopt me and I didn't want to have to wait until I aged out the system; sure they might have released me then but I also heard that they sometimes put certain hellhounds "to sleep" too. Either way, I knew I didn't want to stick around and find out.

Since then I've taken work wherever I could get it, living on my own, and finding any way I could to survive. While it was "easy" to get work as a hellhound, the pay is very little and can only get increased if you worked for someone who has a lot of money, or if they see hellhounds as actual demons rather than pets. Luckily, I had good enough instincts that led me to jobs that were relatively good environments for me that helped me get tough, making sure I could make it on my own without anyone.

However, tonight is my night off. I'm going to a hellhound party. While I have been to parties before, most of them were either for work related purposes where I acted as security or it was filled with demons that are higher than me in the hell hierarchy, like succubus, sharks, and imps but I never connected with them; the times where there were other hellhounds they weren't really interested in me personally. I've never gone to a social event where it's mostly for hellhounds so this might be a chance for me to make a connection with more hellhounds like me. Maybe it's a chance to break away from my loneliness.

The taxi would stop at a mansion. Loona would look in awe at the sight of it. She also noticed hellhounds like her walking in, or she noticed hounds who were already there dancing or talking on the balcony. Before she could think about it any further, she texted someone named Tex, letting him know that she's here.

"Loo-na. Hey girl, glad you could make it." Tex shouted in joy.

"Yeah, thanks for inviting me." Loona said. The two of them would walk into the mansion.

Tex said to her "Course! Course!". He then shouted out to everyone "Hey, everyone! Meet the new face!" He let out a huge howl that caught the attention of most the hounds and they let out their own howls.

As Loona looked around, she said "This place looks lively." She then noticed a hound who was sliding down a rail guard and injured himself in his groin.

Tex said "It always is. You want a drink or anything?"

"Sure." Loona said before Tex left to get her a drink.

This is Vortex. His friends call him Tex. He's my first real hellhound friend that I've made in a long time. I've had a few hellhound friends before but I never made those friendships last; a lot of it had to do with me always being on the move or they died for some reason. I met him on a body guarding job that I was doing for my current boss, Dallas Devine, who's a country music singer in the Lust Ring and on Earth. We were on Earth during a music festival when we first met; although, it was during a sabotage operation between our two bosses and other competitive singers. I was tasked with distracting him by being very flirty so that one of Dallas's crew could sneak into Verosika's dressing room to place a camera and a makeup bomb in her dressing room but that plan backfired so I had to go on the offensive by kicking him in the balls and then the head. I met up with Tex again at a bar. At first I thought he was there to get payback but he wasn't; he was cool about what happened, knowing that we were both being paid enough to care about our bosses' rivalries. I also apologized to him about the flirting since he did say to me that he has a girlfriend but he was cool about that too, understanding it was just for work. I can't deny that I have a crush on him but if there's one thing I've learned in life is never be a heartbreaker or someone will kill you the next day. He's also my guide to finding any extra work in Lust since he's done most of his work there too; at least around the time I've been doing work there.

As Loona was waiting for Vortex, she looked around to see all the hellhounds that were at this party. She also noticed a few imps were there too, which isn't all that surprising. While she continued to look around and walk around for a bit, she bumped into a (female) poodle hellhound who was talking to her friends, a dalmatian and gray hellhound; all three of them have red bows around their heads.

"Hey, watch it." The poodle hellhound said to Loona

"Sorry." Loona said.

The poodle hellhound said "Hey, I know you. You're that hellhound that punched me in the face. Loona, right?"

Loona said "Oh yeah, I remember you know. You're Vikki. You tried to bribe your way backstage for Debbie's concert and when that didn't work you tried to force your way in. Looks like you're doing better now."

Vikki said "You owe me for the damages you did to my eye."

Loona said "I was just doing my job. It was nothing personal." She then began to walk away from the scene.

"It's personal to me. I was hideous for a whole month because of you, you bitch." Vikki shouted. This caught the ear of some of the hellhounds in the area.

A random female hellhound said "You can't just say that.

Loona walked back toward Vikki with an intimidating look on her face. She was about to grab a knife that she had hidden in her jacket. However, noticing the looks she was getting, she stopped herself from doing that. She then said to her "Look, aside from me not caring, tonight is my night off. I don't have the energy to deal with you right now. If you really feel strongly about it, feel free to come and find me later. Just know, I can do more than give you a black eye."

Intimidated by Loona's look, she said "Uh, never mind. Forget about it." She and her pose would walk away from Loona immediately afterwards.

Vortex arrived immediately afterwards, carrying drinks, and asked "Did something happen?

Loona said "It's nothing. Just someone that knew me from work and tried to make a thing of it."

Then a voice shouted "Awooh, awooh! Y'all ready to party with the Queen Bee of Glu-tto-ny? Come on!" The room was starting to turn dark and the words Cotton Candy could be heard. And from a glowing disco ball, a figure was sitting down on it. The figure being Beelzebub, the Sin of Gluttony.

(Mini Author's note: I can't put in the lyrics for Cotton Candy but I can tell you that the events of it played out the same as in the actual show/original timeline. The only difference being Loona's reaction to it is a little different than in the original canon of the show.)

While I've seen images of Beelzebub, the Sin of Gluttony, I've never seen her up close. I know she's suppose to be the leader of all Hellhounds or something but I never really gave it or her much thought, probably because I was surrounded by Imps that worshiped Satan but it's not like I ever met him before; that and I've been to one of Mammon's shows for bodyguard temporary security work but the pay was little and he was an asshole. Although, I can't deny that she's beautiful. Seeing Beelzebub sing like that, almost had a hypnotic effect on me. She felt so confident in her voice. I watched as other hellhounds were enjoying her performance, stomping to her tune. I admit, I was following their lead for a bit but I reserved myself for a bit due to my own personal embarrassment. It wouldn't be long before she started spreading cotton candy all over the room. I took a small bite of it. It was a little too sweet for my liking but I could tell everyone else was enjoying it, especially Tex. The only complaint I have is the widespread shower of cotton candy on my fur.

Beelzebub would finish her song and fly down toward Loona and Tex's location.

"Awooh, awooh! Vortex! The party is buzzin' now!" She then landed next to Tex and said

"Fuck! I feel like I went a little too hard with the confetti this time though. I have, like, a rainbow... in my vagina right now.". She said, rubbing off the confetti off her body and making a rainbow out of her hands. She then took notice of Loona."Oh hey, so you're the rough pup that Vortex was talking about?"

"Excuse me?" Loona said with a somewhat confused tone of voice.

"You look like a total badass. Where have you been hiding?" Beelezebub said as she got up closer to Loona.

Loona said "Wrath. Are you always up in people's faces?"

Beelzebub said "Almost all the time. Especially when I'm high on all this tasty energy right now. Tex told me that you've never been to any parties down here. Hope this itty-bitty get together can serve as a first fun time here."

"This is itty-bitty?" Loona said, looking around for a bit and seeing so many hellhounds in the room.

"It is. I would've thrown a bigger one, but I couldn't convince Belphegor to let me break into her stash of party drugs. So fucking lame! I mean, I usually just steal them, but Bel changed the locks." She then pulls out a bottle of alcohol and drinks it before-after saying "She says I'm a total jackass for trying. But, hey... I'm proud to be a total jackass.".

"Anyway Loona, this is my girlfriend Bee. Bee, this is Loona." Tex said, introducing the two girls to each other. He then snuggled with Bee for a bit.

Bee said "Nice to meetcha, bitch."

His girlfriend is Beelzebub! One of the Sins. What kind of rizz does Tex have? I expected him to be in a relationship with a hot hellhound, not one of the Sins. How is that even possible? I don't think about it too much. Just say something nice to her. Even though you are having trouble deciding to be jealous of her or Vortex, since dating a Sin is a big deal.

"Nice to meetcha, too. You're hot up close. Loona said, realizing what she just said.

Why the fuck did I say that?

Bee giggled "Holy shit. Tex, you didn't tell me that she was hilarious. That's so funny."

"Right." Loona said, hiding her embarrassment.

Bee said "I love that that's the first thing you say to me. You don't give a shit how freak you come off and you have the intensity and strength of a true badass." She got up close to Loona." You are my new favorite person."

"Am I though?" Loona asked

"Yeah, bitch!" "No, really. Reminds me of the first time I saw Satan without his shirt on." " I was like, "Off! Boy! You are hot as hell!". But then I wanted to die, cause it was so awkward. Cause he's more like a brother to me. But not actually my brother. So, I guess….it was fine. I could hit that.

"If you say so."

"Anyway, girl, you have a good time tonight. Get some sweets, get some eats. Drink it, tear it up,fuck it up. Whoo!" Bee said before she left to go check on other party guest.

Loona asked Tex "Is she always like this?"

"Yeah, you grow to love it." Tex said, as he watches her talking to other hellhounds, offering the food and drink.

Loona said "I'll take your word for it since you are her boyfriend. Although, I'm curious as to how you are dating one of the Sins and why you didn't mention it before."

Tex said "Well, it's a long story."

"Heads up." A male Hellhound shouted as a ball was heading toward Loona and Tex's location.

Loona instinctively pulled out a knife that she kept hidden in her jacket, turned around and stabbed the ball at the moment it was going to hit her.

"Sorry about that. We didn't mean to almost hit you." The male Hellhound said as he walked over to Loona and Tex. He was wearing a purple jacket, purple short jeans, and a skull shirt.

"It's fine. I didn't mean to destroy your ball like that." Loona said, attempting to give back the ball.

"No problem, we have a spare. I'm Pinklie." He said, holding out his hand for Loona

"I'm Loona."

Pinklie asked "Would you like to join us in our game? We're looking for extra players. The prize for the winning team is a sea salt ice cream cheesecake from Envy."

Loona said "Uh, sure."

"Great, follow me."Pinklie said as he was heading upstairs to where the game was being played.

Loona pulled Tex to the side and whispered "I need your help making sure I don't accidentally send the opposite team to the hospital. Or the morgue."

"Got it." Vortex said, nodding his head, knowing that Loona is strong enough to do that.

Loona and Vortex would follow Pinklie to one of the outside balconies where the fire volleyball game was being played. Since both of them were strong in their own right, Loona and Vortex played on opposite teams; Loona would play on Pinklie's team. While Loona tried to hold back most of her strength, she couldn't help it due to her feeling the need to win; Tex being on the other team evened things out, making sure that if Loona used any of her full strength he would be able to counter it. However, Loona and Pinklie's speeds were a close match; so close that they managed to work together the entire time they were playing. The game would go on for thirty minutes with the team Loona was on being the winner. Loona and Pinkle would eat together. Vortex would head off to go enjoy the party elsewhere but not before asking Loona if she'll be alright on her own.

Next, she would play strip poker with some of the other hounds, among them being a girl Loona would work with named Esme; she didn't know why but she felt that she could trust her. While playing, Loona could tell that some of the guy hounds were thirsty for her so when she lost her first hand, she took off her shirt, revealing her breast to everyone there. This was enough for her and Esme to beat everyone there, taking all their chips and clothes as a result. Loona offered to give them all their clothes back since she saw no reason to keep them.

Loona was then asked by a Hellhound named Hotdog to participate in a random Truth or Dare for sinstagram post on the topic; however a randomizer would be used to decide what you do. She decided to do it and picked dare since she figured it would be more fun to do something crazy rather than reveal stuff about herself. Loona's dare was to kiss the next Hellhound she laid eyes on after she was blindfolded and spun around for 20 seconds. After Loona finished spinning for 20 seconds, she took off her blindfold and found herself facing Pinklie. Since she already liked him, Loona didn't hesitate to give him a kiss; if he didn't like it then she would apologize. He liked it a lot. She would go on to do a few more dares just for the fun of it.

The rest of the night would be all fun and games. And eating a lot of sweets as well. It was the most fun that I had in my entire life. I bonded with a lot of other Hellhounds but I made strong connections with Pinklie, Esme and Hotdog. I almost didn't want it to end.

Later, as the party was dying down a bit, Loona was hanging out on one of the outside balconies; she was also waiting for the taxi she called for to come get her. She was looking at some photos that she took during her time at the party, placing three in her top favorite moments of the year folder on her phone. One involved her and Esme on the dance floor together; another one involved her defeating Vortex in an arm wrestling match; and the last one involved her watching Vikki and her crew getting pranked by some random male Hellhound. She was thinking about putting in the picture she received from Hotdog of her kissing Pinklie but she decided to hold off on that, mainly because she wasn't sure if she would pursue him long term like that until she knew more about it.

"Whatcha looking at?" Bee said, sneaking up from behind Loona.

Loona shouted, caught by surprise "Ah." She then pulled out one of her knives and pointed it toward Bee's neck. Once she realized it was her, she immediately put it down. "Sorry, my reflexes reacted there."

Bee said "No worries. That blade wouldn't actually hurt me. I could fake it if that will help; afterall, I sometimes get a rush from feeling what it's like to be stabbed. I also like getting the rush of a shotgun blast to the stomach too. Don't suppose you have that on you?

Loona said "No. I left all my dangerous weapons back at home. Except this one. I keep it in case of emergencies. I wasn't going to bring it here but I sort of had it on hand because of work."

"I see. So what were you looking at?" Bee asked again.

"Just some of the photos I took while I was here and a few I got from Esme. I'm placing them in my favorite moments of the year folder." Loona said as she was placing a photo of herself and Esme playing strip poker during the point where she was showing off her breast to distract the other players

Bee said "Damn, you've got some tits. Gotta say, I don't often see newbies who come here to show off like that so soon. You've got guts."

Loona blushed for a bit after the comment before saying "I wouldn't call it that. More like it was a calculated risk to win the game. Besides, it's not like I haven't shown off my tits before anyway; I've been doing that a little more often while I've been working in Lust."

"No kidding. Just hope your siblings or your parents don't see that." Bee said jokingly.

Loona said "I don't have to worry about any siblings finding out since I don't really have a family. It's just me."

"So you've been alone all your life? No one to take care of you?" Bee said, changing her excited tone to a sad tone.

Loona pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. She ignited the lighter and lit the cigarette, placing it in her mouth. She offered one to Bee, who accepted and used her own magic to lite her cigarette, before saying "Nope. I've been taking care of myself. I was in the orphanage most of my life but I found a way to break out of it; I managed to get on a truck heading for Wrath where I learned to really survive and fight on my own for a couple years before taking on work as a bounty hunter and bodyguard."

"Bee asked," Which orphanage did you escape out of? Which ring?"

Loona said "Just somewhere in the Pride Ring. I think it might have been the one in Imp City."

Bee said "I'm sorry to hear that. When I hear about any orphanage stories, I sometimes get emotional."

"It's fine. I escaped anyway." Loona said, blowing out some smoke.

Bee said in a sad-serious tone "It's not fine. Even though I sign all the hellhound adoption forms, there are some I don't have control over anymore; mainly certain facilities are out of my hands. A lot of it was due to how I was a long time ago. I made decisions that I regretted that impacted the Hellhounds of today. And you paid the price."

Loona asked "Is that why you throw these parties? To make up for it? No offense but, as someone who has met a few hounds who have aged out of the system, it's going to take a lot to make up for such a fuck up. You don't have to answer that."

Bee said after blowing some smoke "It's part of the reason. And I know it's going to take a long time. Probably long after everyone but me is all but gone."

Loona said "Well, if it's any consolation, I don't hate you for what happened to me. And if you are trying then that's all that really counts."

Bee let out a smile on her face. She then asked "What about friends? Tex implied you don't have many friends. Why is that? You seem like the type that would have a lot of friends."

Loona said "Let's just say that I have trouble keeping them because of my work. All I ever do is work because I need enough money to live on my own without having to rely on anybody; that and living in the part of Wrath that I've been living in was a big survival of the fittest type of living. Even when I did move back to Pride and later Lust, I focused so much on my work and survival that making friends with others just became a distant priority."

Bee asked "Don't you take any vacations?"

Loona explained "I do. Most of it involves simply sleeping. And for all the times I did try to hang out with the friends I had it just never seemed to work out. Maybe it's because I have trouble connecting with others because I assume the connection we make won't last long. Either because something happens to them or because I'm bad at maintaining friendships out of fear of losing it. You probably don't like hearing about that sort of thing.

"Bee said "No, I do like hearing that sort of thing, especially when it comes from the heart. Let me ask you, do you want to keep the friendships you've made here?

Loona said "I do. For the first time in a long time, I want to remain connected to everyone that I bonded with her."

Bee held out her hands and asked "Can I see your phone for a second?"

"Sure." Loona said before giving Bee her phone.

Bee used magic on Loona's phone, using her own phone to download something onto it. She then gave back her phone and said "Here. I added something special to your phone. I call it Beelzebub's "List of Making Lasting Friendships Game."

Loona looked at the app on her phone and asked "That's a mouthful. So what is it?"

Bee said "It's a special game that I sometimes give Hellhounds that have trouble making friends. I don't normally give it out unless it's an extreme emergency."

Loona asked, feeling a tad bit insulted but she hid it "And I'm an extreme emergency?".

Bee said "No, but I do know that this can help you retain friends which is just as important. It reminds me of something Charlie once told me: A friend for life is just another way to have a happy day in Hell."

"Charlie?" Loona asked.

Bee said "Charlie Morningstar,Lucifer's daughter and my honorary niece. She's a total sweetie, you'd love her and she'd love you."

Loona said"Alright, I'll give it a try." She continued to look through the list that came with this app. However, there was one item on this list that caught her eye; she liked it but at the same time she found it weird that Bee would put something like this in. She looked toward Bee and said "Have a threeway or foursome with your closest friends.". Her face turned red for a moment.

Bee said "That's something I picked up from Asmodeus. He says that sex between close friends can bring a whole new level of intimacy if done correctly. I did add a heart gauge that can tell you when you're at the proper level of intimacy."

Loona asked "How would it know?"

Bee said "Trust me, it will know and you will know. But I would recommend doing these four first, starting with this one.". She pointed to Seeing a Movie in the Pride Megaplex, sharing a coffee at StarElks Cafe in Greed, and Clothes shopping at Burning Topics in Lust (Please invite me to that).

Loona said "If you say so."

"Cool. And if you ever decide to do the threeway/fourways, feel free to let me or Tex know." Bee said in a flirty tone.

"What?" Loona asked

Bee said "Even though he said you flirted with him for work, he could tell you were into him. And so can I." She got closer to Loona, placing her hand on her face

"I'm not a heartbreaker or anything. What I did was just work related and nothing more. Once I knew he had a girlfriend, I backed off." Loona said in a nervous tone of voice, trying to hide the fact that she's enjoying this.

"Relax, it's cool. While Tex may be my boyfriend, we're more than open enough to let others in under the right circumstances. But only if that's what you want. Is it what you want?" Bee asked

"I'll need to think that over. Not that the prospect doesn't sound appealing. It really does, it's just…..I need a little more time."

Bee said, stopping her flirty tone "No problem. Take your time. I know you probably want to try that guy all the way down there, first.". She and Loona looked down the balcony and noticed Pinklie talking with Esme and Hotdog."But if you ever decide you want a taste of me and Tex one day, let me know. Just know that I like it rough." She then flew away.

That would mark the start of how my life would change forever. Six Months Later, I found myself sharing a bed with Pinklie, Vortex, and Bee.

I'm glad I was finally able to finish this Au. Since I wanted to do an Au where Loona never met Blitz, I decided to go with this version where she found no one but didn't stay in the orphanage too long. It's meant to include any new details that we may learn about Loona later while also accounting for what we don't know. It also makes you think what IMP might be without Loona to an extent; depending on how season 2 ends and the rest Helluva Boss goes I might do a short that covers it.
