At a bar called Bottoms Up Barbie, Loona is sitting at a bar alone with a drink in one hand and her other hand with her phone. She was looking through some recent photos that she took; she was currently on a photo of herself and Pinkle laying together in bed after they had sex. She then received a text from someone called Natalia Nightshade that said "We'll be practicing your scenes with Markus, Patricia, Carl, and Cora this Monday. Be sure to bring any sexy clothes you have and buy some Pink Spice Deodorant. Also, remember to wear a red, purple, or gold bra.". Loona simply replied with "K". She then went to Pinkle's text messages and sent him a message saying "My practice sessions are on Monday. Would you like to see me wear red, purple, or gold?". While waiting for a response, Loona noticed that Vortex was coming in through the mirror at the bar.

"Hey Loona." Vortex said as he sat down next to her. He then had the bartender order a drink for himself.

"Tex. Thanks for meeting me on such short notice." Loona said with a smile on her face

"No problem. I've got the information for you about that studio. It's a relatively decent studio that's not exactly well paying but I've noticed that some prominent celebrities from Lust and Envy have been shooting/participating there recently when they normally wouldn't. Probably because the owner is calling in favors and debts." Tex said, after he gave Loona file on a place called "Bushbowl Valley Video"

Loona skimmed through the files and said "Thank you. This is helpful. I at least know what I'm getting into."

Vortex took a drink and asked "Not that it's any of my business but why are you interested in this place?".

Loona explained "You remember when you told me about how your boss, Verosika, competed against her ex on Earth for a parking space and the end result led you all to be detained by the police, only being able to escape by "sucking a lot of pig dick"?".

"Yeah." Vortex said, thinking about how he, Verosika, and her crew had to seduce most of the human police in order to get out of jail and escape back to Hell unnoticed.

Loona said "Well, this is that for me. The only difference being my boss lost a singing competition bet between her sister. Now we, the band and myself, have to work in her studio for three months.". She then took a sip of her drink.

"Damn, that sucks. In a bad way. Do you need help getting out of this?" Vortex asked.

"Nah, I'm good. If anything, maybe I can find other avenues of employment while I'm there. By that I mean bodyguard or security work, not as a porn actress." Loona said, trying to clarify that since she didn't want to somehow risk her bodyguarding/bounty hunter reputation by becoming a porn star.

Vortex giggled "I know, Loona.".

"Although Pinkle is interested in seeing what I would look like in front of a camera." Loona said, blushing a bit. The two of them recently became a couple, a few weeks ago. They've had sex at least four times now, two of those times was before they became a couple; the second time involved a foursome with Bee and Vortex and as a result of that time she found out that two of his fetishes were cuckolding and voyeurism.

Vortex smiled and asked "By the way, how are things going for you and Pinklie?". He and Bee were there when the two of them became a couple; he remembered secretly watching them confess their feelings for each other through a spell that Bee was using to check up on them, mainly because she was the one that was most curious about them.

Loona said "We're making it work so far, despite our unusual start. We're even seeing how our schedules can work so that we don't have to miss any of our dates".

Vortex said "I understand the feeling. Bee and I are still figuring out our schedules so neither of us miss any dates either. But you should know that a lot of couples that I know personally have had unusual starts too. "

"Did they involve a rival bounty hunter, a former bounty coming after me for revenge, a car chase, a food fight, seeing the Sin of Gluttony's demonic form, and a smoking session that led to a foursome due to the weed I brought being laced with a aphrodisiac all in one day?" Loona said sarcastically, remembering that crazy day that they had, especially the part where she managed to have sex with Pinklie, Vortex and Bee.

Vortex said "No,but that doesn't mean having an unusual start is a bad thing. And you both found a way to talk about your feelings as a result."

Loona took a breath and said "I know but he's my first real boyfriend. I just don't want to fuck it up somehow."

Vortex placed his hand on her shoulder and said "Your not going to fuck it up. You're going to be just you know that you can always turn to me and Esme for dating advice."

"Yeah, you're right." Loona said, thankful for the reassurance.

"And Bee is always open to giving advice too." Vortex said, jokingly.

"I'll save her advice for absolute emergencies." Loona said in a deadpan voice. The two of them took a drink at the same time.

Vortex asked "Do you two have any dates coming up?"

Loona said "Yeah,we're going mountain climbing at this spot I know about in Wrath. It's one of the few good spots where you don't have to worry about kicking someone else's ass for a romantic moment."

Vortex said "Sounds lovely."

Loona asked "What about you and Bee?"

Vortex said "We've cleared our schedules for our date day. Although, she says that what she has planned is a surprise."

Loona said "Maybe it's a date at Ozzie's?"

Vortex said "Nah, it wouldn't be something as simple as that since we could go there anytime. You know, because she and Asmodeus are both Sins and close friends; plus there are no special events going on there anytime soon. At least not the ones I know about. But knowing Bee, it's going to be something big and wild."

Loona said "I do not doubt that."

Vortex said "By the way, she might announce that you and Pinklie have become a couple at her next party."

"Why?" Loona asked.

Vortex explained "Cause when she's seen or heard that other hounds have started relationships, she likes to make announcements about it. While I don't know all of them, I know she does this sort of thing when she's heard of at least 8 couples from that amount of time."

Loona said "I take it there is no way I can convince her not to do that, can I?".

Vortex said "Nope. But don't worry, she's not going to reveal the events that led up to it."

"I believe you. But I only believe her partially; knowing her, she'll imply it to some degree anyway." Loona said after taking another drink.

"You're probably right." Vortex said.

Vortex and Loona would have a few more drinks before leaving the bar; they mostly talked about dating advice and upcoming parties or events that are coming up. They also got into a bar fight with a bunch of shark demons trying to hit on Loona and push away Tex; they made sure that the sharks did not leave the bar alive. The two would leave the bar together and Vortex got a taxi for Loona; he made sure that any taxi that passed by didn't have any creeps waiting to take advantage of Loona. Luckily, the third taxi that arrived was being driven by someone they both knew.

"Thanks again for the info. And the advice on dating." Loona said after she got into the cab.

"No , if you do find any interesting jobs while you're working at the place, could you let me know?" Vortex asked.

Loona said "Sure. But I thought you liked working for Verosika Mayday. Why are you looking for a new job?

Vortex explained "I did but things have gotten bad over there. Along with the pay becoming less, she's been off for a while now and it's getting out of control even for her."

"What do you mean?" Loona asked. She's know Vortex for a while now to know he wouldn't say something like this so lightly.

Vortex explained "I don't know the specifics but it has something to do with her ex being missing, very likely dead. It ranges from rumors of him being killed by humans or a member of the Goetia Family. Either way, she's very broken up about it.".

Loona asked "Why? If she hated her ex so much then why is she so sad about him being dead?".

"I don't know. I only do things for Verosika when she pays me enough and that's it. However, if I had to guess what's wrong then I think it has to do with a regret she has with him. Unresolved emotions about it"

"I see. If I do find out anything that might interest you, I'll let you know." Loona said before she closed the door and the taxi drove away.

While in the taxi got a text response from Pinkle and started a conversation with him.

Pinkle

Sorry for the late reply. I was in the middle of a late shift at work. I would prefer to see you in red. But you look good in anything you wear.

Loona

It's alright. And thank you for the compliment.

Pinkle

Do you have any special requests for our date?

Loona

Where something with black and gold on. But make sure I can see your muscles too.

Pinkle

You got it. Love you.

This one popped in my head at random when making one of the other shorts. I wanted to at least give a few story bits for the Loner Loona AU by showing a little bit of how Loona and Vortex interact since the two of them are closer friends in this AU since she relies on him when she first started doing jobs in Lust. Depending on how things go with the end of season 2 and any implications of season 3 and 4, I will go more in depth with their relationship.

Also, ever since the events of Ghostf'rs, I'm likely going to rework some of the events of one of my AU's after learning about Millie's past and seeing Blitz's breakdown in this one for one of my other shorts as well. Also, part of me wants to wait for the events of Mastermind and Sinmas since they may have some really good information, concepts, and story bits that I can apply to my other full blown AUs, not just my shorts.
