I do not own any of the characters except for Arabella.
~Arabella's POV~
Me and Jack were having a date in Falafel Phil's. We finished up and were walking out of the restaurant to see Milton screaming at a guy in orange pants. "Don't you dare move, Mister. Don't you move!" Milton ordered. The guy lunged at the boys making me and Jack drop or trash trays to defend them. Jack kicked him before ducking, giving me a chance to kick the prisoner too. As he lunged at me again, Jack kicked his side, distracting him as I grabbed his wrist and then Jack grabbed his other wrist and we flipped him over on the table. The police officers dragged the prisoner away.
"Okay. The show's over. Remain calm, people. We got him." Jerry announced.
"You mean me and Jack got him." I corrected.
"Whatever, Bella." Jerry glared. Milton approach to the prisoner.
"You're lucky you didn't have to deal with me. Because then you would have met Laverne and Shirley!" Milton told him, holding up his fists. The prisoner jerked screaming in his face, making Milton run as with Eddie and Jerry, who squealed.
Don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much, I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.
Here we go, let's start the party, chop it up like it's karate.
everybody, don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.
"Guys, we've been on the news all day." Jack exclaimed as he and I entered the dojo.
"They used surveillance footage from the Mall Security Camera. I kicked butt, and looked good while doing it." I bragged, flipping my hair.
"Uh, you know, Belle, in the interview with the reporter, you kind of made it sound like you took the guy down by yourself." Jack pointed out.
"What makes you say that?" I scoffed.
"Because you said, and I quote, 'I took the guy down by myself'." Jack quoted. I looked away, embarrassed, looking in my locker for a brush.
"You guys aren't the only ones on the news." Jerry said, "Yeah, on Spanish TV, they
mentioned me, Eddie, and Milton. They called us 'Los tres gusanos sin espinas'."
"Wow. What does that mean?" Jack asked.
"Three spineless worms." I laughed walked away from my locker, finished brushing my hair and put it away and towards the group.
"There they are. Guys, look who's here." I heard Rudy said as he exited his office with Dolph Gruber!
"I don't believe it, it's Dolph Gruber!" Milton exclaimed.
"I've seen all your movies. You're the best action star ever." Jack added.
"Aw, you're too kind." Dolph said in a thick Australian accent. "I saw you on the news last night. What you do is incredible." Dolph praised before turning to the other three. "Hello spineless worms."
"What brings you to our dojo?" Eddie asked.
"I want you two in my movie is what I'm wanting." Dolph replied, looking at me and Jack. We looked at each other excitedly. "I'm directing what will be the greatest martial arts movie ever. An epic battle for survival. It's called The Karate Games. Do you lub it?"
"Yes, I lub it." I agreed immediately, "But uh Dolph, we're not actors."
"That's why you're perfect. Actors are fake. You are real. You're fresh, you're gutsy, you have great hair." Dolph explained.
"Thank you." I beamed.
"I was talking to the boy." Dolph corrected.
"Ha." Jack teased in my ear, as I softly hit his chest and he chuckled.
"What do you say, Yak and Bella?" Dolph asked.
"I could be a star!" I said excitedly to Jack.
"Watch out Hollywood. Here comes Yak and Bella." Jack mimicked. We're going to Hollywood.
...(づ。‿‿。)づ
"We shoot the first scene right here." Dolph told us as he toured us around the sets. "This is your underground bunker."
"Oh, cool." Rudy exclaimed as he sprinted up to the bunk beds, trying to climb onto the top one but failing to get on top. "It's good." He decided to give up and just sat on the bottom bunk.
"Your characters are enemies. But you're brought together by the most powerful thing in the Universe." Dolph explained to us, "A kiss."
"Oh." Me and Jack nodded, "Oh." Our smiles dropped immediately, I don't know how to react to that.
...(づ。‿‿。)づ
Jack and I were in position to shoot the first scene in different outfits for the movie. "And...Action." Dolph said softly.
"But I hate you. You're from Zone Five. You vaporized my father." I recited, it was pretty convincingly.
"I had to vaporize him. He was implanted with the evil egg and smelled of elderberries." Jack recited, also convincingly.
"So by killing him, that means you saved..." I trailed off, looking away from Jack, "Me?" I finished very dramatically.
"No." I felt Jack shift right behind me. "I saved...Us." He turned me around by grabbing my hand, as we started to leaning in, stopping as we got halfway in. "Uh, did someone say cut?" Jack asked, breaking character.
"Oh yeah, I heard a cut. Someone definitely said cut." I said sarcastically with a smile on my face.
"Perfect." Dolph praised, "Bring in the stunt lips for the close-up. Right, and...Lips and action!" We moved off the set, watching the plastic lips collide with each other.
"Oh god." I watched in horror, I had my hand on my chest with a look of disgust.
"Yeah, that's right, huh? Good. Now I need more passion." Dolph ordered, "I need more passion! What, are you kissing your grandmother? Come on, put your back into it. Yes yes! Yeah! Genius!" This is very uncomfortable.
...(づ。‿‿。)づ
Jack and I had recovered from the plastic lips thing, ready to shoot another scene. "In this scene, you climb the ladder out the bunker and emerge in the Hollywood forest. That's where the real action begins." Dolph told Jack.
"Uh, actually Dolph, if I may. My character's the best hunter from Zone Nine, so I should probably go first." I pitched in.
"Yeah, okay. Do that." Dolph agreed.
"Uh, actually. Since my character's the strongest fighter, you should probably be following me." Jack intervened.
"He makes a good point." Dolph nodded.
"I follow no man!" I insisted.
"But I'm Malakai, son of..."
"Oh, you want to talk about greatness?!" I asked, cutting him off as we migrated to the ladder. Then we were arguing.
"Will someone please get up the gunterschlagen ladder?" Dolph yelled over us. Jack ended up climbing up first, me following. We emerged from the set to see a very realistic looking forest.
"All right, so what do we do now?" Jack asked, "Where is everybody?"
"Yeah. Hey, Dolph? What are we supposed to do now?" I called down the ladder, "You never gave us a script for this scene." Then the latch closed on its own.
"Because there isn't one." Dolph spoke into one of the speakers, "Everything from this point forward is real. See, you're not acting in this movie. You are living in it."
"What are you saying?" Jack asked confused.
"I'm saying..."
"Welcome to clown burger. May I have your order, please?" A different voice cut off Dolph.
"That wasn't me. Whoever's on this channel,
could you please switch? I'm trying to make a movie here!" Dolph exclaimed. Jack patted my bicep, pointing at the small camera attached to the tree. "What I'm saying, Yak and Bella... Is I'll be filming your fight to the very end."
"Fighting? Against who?" I asked.
"The fiercest warriors who ever walked the Earth. Let The Karate Games begin!" Dolph announced.
"He's kidding, right?" I asked with a scared look, as a spear barely missed us, punctured a tree.
"No, I don't think he is." Jack denied. I nodded cautiously, I was terrified at this turn of events. Jack pulled me towards him slightly, looking over my shoulder terrified. I looked over to see 3 Barbadians with weapons in fighting stance. We got into a fighting stance as well, bracing ourselves for a very long eventful and terrifying day. "Are you ready?" Jack asked me.
"Do I have a choice?" I asked nervously.
"You must fight to survive." Dolph reminded us.
"You don't have a choice." Jack answered making me nod. We started fighting them. I front kicked the first guy in the chest, knocking him into some bushes. As I was going to help Jack, who was struggling under a staff, one of Barbadian grabbed me and ran away.
"Belle? Belle?" I heard Jack screamed out to me.
"Jack!" I screamed back, struggling against the barbarian.
"Belle?!" Jack shouted again.
"Jack!" I shouted back. The barbarain handed me to a Brazilian tree fighter who tied me up to a strong tree vine, knotting the ropes roughly on my wrists. "Jack!"
"Belle, are you okay?" Jack asked, as he saw me.
"Yeah, but Jack, be careful. I was hung here by
Brazilian tree fighters." I warned.
"What's a Brazilian tree fighter?" Jack asked me as two Brazilian Tree Fighters screeched as they swung towards him, flipping him into the ground.
"That's a Brazilian tree fighter." I replied. The tree fighters took another swing at Jack who dodged the first one, but the second one lifted Jack up in the air with him. I watched nervously for his safety, as the tree fighter dropped him who was dropped onto the ground.
"I am really starting to hate this movie." Jack groaned, getting up. The tree fighter let out a war cry as the swing towards me and Jack. Jack run towards me and grabbed the vine that was tied to and swing towards them, as we both kicked the tree fighters together. Jack untied me, letting my arms rest again. I rubbed my aggravated wrist, looking around nervous.
"Jack, this is real." I said to him, "I mean, we got lucky this time, but what if next time..."
"Hey, hey. We're gonna be fine, okay?" Jack cut me off, "Belle, I won't let anything happen to you."
"Oh, that's touching." Dolph cooed. "You kids are going to be big stars, if you survive. And the only way you'll do that is if you make it to the Hollywood sign for my spectacular ending."
"You're going to jail, you freak!" I yelled at him.
"I wouldn't worry about me. I'd just start running to that sign. And if you're looking for motivation, here it comes." Dolph said as dogs started barking and chasing us.
"Get 'em, boys!" A voice said. As we ran away, finding a hiding door to take a quick break.
"There they are! After 'em!" The dog owner pointed at us out. We took a deep breath before getting back to running. It took a little bit to find an opening for a clear path to the Hollywood sign, but we found it. We continued running, despite our bodies exhausted. By the time we reached the sign, it was nighttime.
"Whoa. A little higher up here than I thought." I spoke after starting to steady my breath, "Now what?"
"I don't know. He said we'd survive if we made it to the sign." Jack remained me. I nodded looking around for the camera. I found it and pointed it out for Jack.
"All right, we're here, you crazy nut burger! Okay, it's over. We dodged spears, escaped traps, beat tree fighters, and outran dogs... "
"And I'm pretty sure I used Poison Ivy as toilet paper." Jack groaned making me grimace.
"Congratulations. Ready for the big twist?" Dolph asked, "Only one of you can be the star of this movie. And that is the one who survives."
"Survives what?" I asked, exasperated.
"Each other!" Dolph answered, "Now fight!"
"What? That's not gonna happen. We're boyfriend and..." I cut him off by kicking his side. "Belle, what are you doing?" I continued kicking, mixture of front kicks and roundhouses, buy a Jack kept dodging. "Don't fight me!" I tried right hooking him, but he dodged that too. I swung by he ducked, giving me a chance to kick upwards into his unprepared hands with force. I kicked him into the sign, punching again, but he caught my hand. I punch him with my other hand, and he caught that too. I used his vulnerability to help me flip him near the edge. He groaned as his back collided with the edge of the sign. "Belle, think about what you're doing!"
"I am. I'm thinking about being a star. So long, Jack." I smriked, kicking him off the sign, as he tumbled down. Dolph lowered himself down from his helicopter.
"Bravo, Bella. Bravo." Dolph clapped, "You truly are a star."
"I'm not just a star. I'm also a great actress." I let a smirk.
"Let's not get crazy." Dolph suggested.
"It's true." I continued, with a smirk on my face, "I made you believe that we were actually fighting."
"Wait, you mean..."
"That's right. Yak is back." Jack mocked Dolph's accent. As Dolph tried attacking Jack, I took the distraction as a chance to kick his knee pit. He tried punching me, to which I blocked, kicking his stomach. He tried kicking me, I blocked and gave him another blow to the stomach. Jack shoved him into the sign. Dof noticed the ladder, climbing up the H. I climbed after Dof while Jack climbed up the metal bars. Dof tried kicking me, which I blocked again before he started taking swings at me which I dodged and blocked. I got him into an arm lock as Jack finally met us up at the top of the H. Jack performed a flying side kick as I ducked so Dof would go flying over the H. "Wow. I guess his movie ended a little bit differently than he thought it would." Jack said as I nodded.
"Yeah. Can you believe when we got here we were worried about who was gonna be the star?" I said.
"What do you mean "we"?" Jack asked giving me a playful smile.
"You're right. I'm sorry." I said, "Look, Jack, I want you to know I think you're amazing." Jack smiled, advancing on me slowly. As I smiled back at him, and he caressed my arms, leaning in, halfway in.
"Cut!" Dolph interrupted making us look away annoyed. "I cut my leg and it really hurts!" Dolph walked.
"Um, you ready to get out of here?" I asked.
"Let's go home." Jack scoffed as we climbed down the H.
"Oh, wait." I said, turning Jack around to me as I kissed him. "Much better." Jack chuckled softly and pulling me closer.
...(づ。‿‿。)づ
"Hey, guys." Jack greeted as we entered the dojo, holding hands.
"Hey." Jerry, Milton and Eddie greeted.
"How you doing? Give me some." Jack high-five the boys.
"How was Hollywood?" Milton asked us.
"Oh, the Director turned out to be a maniac and we sent him to jail for the rest of his life." Jack filled them in.
"Same old, same old." I said, as we walked into the locker room to get ready for practice.
