Chapter 3

Kicking the Sleeping Dog that tries to Lie.

7 years Later

Gosha Academy (五車町) is the headquarters of the Taimanin, created by assembling the Shinobi and clans, who were originally scattered across Japan. The village is located somewhere hidden in the Kanto region and has been built near ancient forests and mountains. Roughly a few years after the "ONT Conflict," the village was made into the headquarters for the Taimanin Clans by the Japanese government.

At 17 years old and a 3rd year student of Gosha Academy, Kaiser Wrath was lying on his back looking up to the sky on the school rooftop of Gosha Academy as he was lazily daydreaming.

Kaiser yawned as he was bored with his school life as he had to deal with social life bullshit and average teenage drama. Well, teenagers that were enhanced demon killing ninjas fighting monsters and criminals, but that was just par for the course. A lot has changed for Kaiser since he was 10 years old, from the death of his adoptive father, Kenichi, to the kidnapping of his adoptive mother, Shiranui, to his little sister's emotional insecurities rising up and everyone wanting a piece of him after the whole "Dies Irae" incident.

It seems that Kaiser had his hands full on top of his duties as a Taimanin student and that he had troubles managing his affairs back home with his family. Ever since Kaiser's adoptive father had died during a mission as well as saving his mother, Shiranui, from being turned into a sex slave by a bunch of slavers who had specifically targeted her, things have become estranged between them.

As a 15-year-old boy, Kaiser went on a bloody rampage, killing anyone who stood in his way as he destroyed half of the underground city of Yomihara to find his mother. A week later Kaiser returned in triumph with his adoptive mother in tow and was greeted by a teary-eyed Yukikaze...and a squad of Taimanin who were there to arrest him. Kaiser was brought to the Council of Elders and was nearly sentenced to death if it weren't for his mother being the current Head of the Mizuki Clan and as well as other influential figures vouching for him. This made the elders reconsider their decision, but ever since then this has put Kaiser on probation and the Elders at odds with him. Any opportunity he can find to piss off the elders, Kaiser would do so unapologetically with glee, but the elders would fight back and make his life harder by denying him credit on missions or giving him suicidal missions with Handlers who could less if he got killed. This, however, did not affect Kaiser, as he preferred those types of missions and did not care for fame or recognition, as he enjoyed killing demons for killing sake.

Kaiser had gained a rather infamous reputation of being violent, rude, vulgar, and very powerful that most students avoid him on the basis that anyone around him will earn the ire of the elders or as to not get on the short-tempered Taimanin bad side, but those who surrounded Kaiser are usually those who are either influential, high-up in the chain of command, or simply didn't care.

Kaiser sighs as he recalls all the problems he had to deal with but had a bigger headache when he heard a familiar voice.

"Oh Kai-kun~" said a flirty and bubbly voice.

It was Asuka Koukawa the "Hawk Wind" Taimanin and adoptive daughter of Asagi as she seemed to appear from nowhere. The first thing Kaiser thought about this woman was that she was annoying, tried too hard to be liked by others, and definitely used her large breasts to manipulate guys into doing things for her. Asuka made it clear that she saw Kaiser as the target for her teasing, which Kaiser found disturbing since Asuka and him were about the same age, but no matter how much he pushes the annoying girl away, she still finds herself in his vicinity often, and while he does enjoy fighting, he wanted no part in her sexual harassment.

"What do ya want, Asuka?" Kaiser said with a tired voice, "If you are looking for my little sister, Yukikaze, I haven't seen her."

"Oh, don't worry about your precious Yukikaze," Asuka said mockingly. "I know where she is, but there is something else I wish to discuss with you." Kaiser's eyes narrowed as he looked at the bubbly Taimanin before him. "You see, I have a favor to ask of you."

Kaiser sighs and shakes his head as he gets up from his spot and walks over to Asuka. "What kind of favor?"

Kaiser has throughout the years grown and gotten stronger that it showed on his body as the young man was in peak physical condition as well as being very tall with him having a couple feet over Asuka, but none of this helped him as the woman started rubbing her breast on the young man's right arm as she wrapped herself around him. This action caught him off guard as well as embarrassed as he wasn't used to this type of behavior from a female.

"Well, you see, Kai-kun, I need help with my special training..." the woman said coyly.

Before Kaiser could give an answer, the door to the school's roof swung up as Kaiser's adoptive little sister, Yukikaze, came out alongside her best friends Rinko and Tatsuro.

"There You Are!" Yukikaze yelled out as her face was red at seeing how close Asuka was with her adopted older brother. "I knew you were planning something when you said you weren't feeling well and had to go to the infirmary!"

Kaiser watched in confusion at his sister, who looked ready to burst into flames as she spoke so loudly that they might be heard by the other students and teachers below.

"Your trying to seduce my precious Onii-chan again, aren't you?!" Yukikaze said as she pointed a accusing finger at Asuka.

Asuka didn't try to deny it as she giggles at the accusation.

"I am sorry, Kai-kun~, it seems that your sister doesn't like us being together." Asuka said with a happy-go-lucky voice and gave a smug look at Yukikaze and Rinko, "And what are you doing here, Class Rep, Rinko?"

Rinko had a look of scorn with a blush on her face from seeing her secret childhood crush, Kaiser, with someone else that was too close to him and that someone wasn't her.

It was then that Kaiser noticed how the air between the three girls was tense as they glared daggers at each other as they stood on both sides of him.

"Hehe...Oh! It looks like these two are really upset at me!" Asuka said with a gleeful smile as the reason behind their actions is simple... jealousy and envy, especially by Yukikaze, who hates sharing her big brother, Kaiser, with any woman.

After the "Dies Irae" Incident and among others, Yukikaze adored her adoptive big brother, but this became more prevalent after losing her father and nearly losing her mother that Yukikaze became very attached to her adoptive big brother, Kaiser. This only got worse as they got older, with Kaiser spoiling Yukikaze with whatever she wanted as he could never say no to his little sister. Though that all changed when Kaiser started to fill out and went through his growth spurts as he became noticed by many females who found Yukikaze's brother physically attractive. From the subtle looks to full-on groping, many Taimanin females have tried to seduce Kaiser, but he obliviously ignored them as he was not an expert on romance or things of a more sexual nature. Seeing her brother being attacked by half the female population of Gosha Village made Yukikaze jealous, as this meant that her older brother would spend less time and attention on her. Thus, Yukikaze made it her mission to protect her big brother from the claws of these hungry Vixens.

The only woman that Yukikaze approves of being around her brother was Rinko, who had a secret crush on Kaiser, but due to her status as current head of the Akiyama Clan after her father passed away, she was given responsibility that unfortunately prevents her from being with Kaiser. This, combined with the fact that she was the class representative and Honor Roll Student while Kaiser was the delinquent problem child of Gosha Academy and the village Pariah, prevented her from getting close to him, as she needed to keep appearances up to not bring any shame to the Akiyama Clan.

This put Rinko in a difficult position, and seeing that Yukikaze also has feelings for her brother, she was conflicted and afraid that if she makes the wrong move, it might cause problems for Yukikaze as well.

Yukikaze did not trust or like Asuka, but she at least respected her talent and power, while Rinko had no real reason to dislike her, though she found Asuka too bubbly and overly energetic most of the time, as such proclivities did not set a good example of a taimanin of her station, but this might be because of Rinko's own meek nature.

Kaiser sighs as this was a common occurrence for him, as it started with him trying to stay out of trouble and Asuka seeking to flirt with him as his sister and Rinko found them, and then a big fight ensued.

Kaiser had learned growing up that women were difficult to understand, as he was always confused as to why everything was his fault, but eventually he just learned to accept it and just roll with it.

"Uhh...I'm sorry for everything?" Kaiser said unsurely, as he didn't know what he did wrong with the current situation and apologized for something that might not even be his fault.

The girls look at him oddly while they wondering if this is part of his charm or if he was just plain stupid.

Despite all this, Yukikaze does love her older brother, and in fact, it is his advice that has helped her become the woman she is today. If only Kaiser would realize the massive impact he had on everyone's lives, including his own little sister, as well as take responsibility for once in his life. He might be headstrong and rough on the outside, but deep down Kaiser had a kind and gentle heart for those whom he cared for. It was this heart of Kaiser that made up all his faults that Yukikaze loved.

Despite his temper, Kaiser tended to avoid fights if possible and rarely picked them without good reason. Even when Kaiser did fight against other Taimanin, his skills and strength often forced them to give up or surrender rather quickly, as his training with his adopted father helped improve his fighting style greatly. There was a reason why Kaiser did not participate in practice sparring or in physical activities with other students, as he could outperform and outfight half of the school. There were only a handful of people that could give Kaiser a challenge if he took them on seriously.

This lack of interest in being recognized as stronger than others contributed towards why he got into more arguments with Rinko, Asagi, and Rinka as they constantly sought to prove themselves superior against him. In general, Kaiser preferred to spend his time riding his motorcycle or in his workshop away from people, as he has an extremely low tolerance for most people unless those are his little sister, childhood friend, or mother.

"Well, as much fun as it is to play with you kids, I got other things to do." Asuka said as she let go of Kaiser's arm while she made her way downstairs as she emphasized wiggling her wide hips towards Kaiser as she smiled smugly at Yukikaze and Rinko.

"Bye Kai-kun~." Asuka said as she blew a kiss at Kaiser, who proceeded to look lost and confused.

Yukikaze sighed as she watched the scene in front of her as she felt sorry for her brother, knowing why he always had a rough time dealing with women. After Asuka left, Yukikaze started to interrogate her older brother about his strange behavior, but he just gave an awkward smile, which made it clear that he had no idea what was going on either. Rinko also walked up to him, asking him similar questions as the two girls bombarded him with questions.

"(Sigh)...Why Me?" Kaiser said his signature catchphrase as he looked up to the sky for an answer that would never come.

Later in the day, Kaiser and Yukikaze walked back home together as they reached the Mansion/Castle of the Mizuki Clan, where they both were greeted by the family ghost butler, Zenki.

"Master Kaiser, Lady Yukikaze, welcome home!" The Butler yelled out before he proceeded to bow and open the front door for them.

They proceeded to walk down the corridor until they reached the kitchen, where their mom was preparing dinner.

"Hey Mama...(sniff)...(sniff)...hmmm smells good. What'cha cooking?" Kaiser said as he licked his lips and cleared his drool from his mouth. As many things change with Kaiser, so it did with Shiranui.

After her husband's death, Shiranui was heartbroken and depressed to the point that she would lock herself in her room before going on a mission, which surprised Yukikaze as well as Kaiser due to the fact that their mother was retired. This got worse with time as Shiranui became more obsessive in her missions as she began neglecting Yukikaze and Kaiser as a form of coping for her husband's death while searching for those who had killed him.

This unfortunately led to her capture by the Incubus Faction, which had planned to turn her into a sex slave that served only the Incubus King. Luckily she had Kaiser looking for her as he burned down half of Yomihara to find her. Kaiser was able to track down his adoptive mother Shiranui and save her, but unfortunately she was experimented on beforehand with brainwashing to find the first man she saw as irresistible, and that man happened to be her adopted son, Kaiser Wrath, who had rescued her.

"Hell Yeah! Its fine by me!" Kaiser said happily. As soon as they washed their hands, Kaiser quickly made his way to the kitchen table, where a large steak dinner lay untouched, and called for Yukikaze.

"Yuki-chan dinner is ready." Kaiser called out as he took a seat at the kitchen table.

A moment later, Yukikaze entered the room. "Thanks for waiting; let's eat. Itadakimasu!" They proceeded to dig in and start eating until...

"Mmm... Mmrg... Mama, this is so good! You are an amazing cook." Yukikaze said while eating.

Shiranui gave her daughter a small smile but seemed distracted. "Thanks, honey, you flatter me."

Kaiser also tried to engage in conversation with his mother.

"So umm...Mama...how was your day?" Kaiser asked. Kaiser noticed that after Shiranui's husband died, she withdrew herself from him and Yukikaze, but after he rescued her, she just seemed to only avoid him.

Kaiser chalked it up to him being adopted and Yukikaze being Shiranui's actual child, so it was obvious she would prefer Yukikaze over him. This hurt Kaiser, as he loved his adopted family, but he understood that the Mizuki family must have been tired of him and the trouble he's caused.

"Oh... My day was fine. I talked to some of the other Taimanin at Gosha Village today." Shiranui responded listlessly before returning to her meal, as she was busy with her own thoughts.

Kaiser heard her tone with a lack of care for conversation as he didn't want to bother her, but this made him even more curious.

"Umm, Mama, what do you mean by other Taimanin?" Yukikaze asked curiously. This seemed to snap Shiranui out of her thoughts once again.

"Oh umm...you know meetings with the Elder from the other clans and what not."

Kaiser flinched as he remembered that day when he set off to rescue Shiranui. The Elders were content to write off his adoptive mother as another lost cause, but Kaiser was unwilling to believe that until he saw a body, so he snuck out and began his one-man crusade to find his adoptive mother.

This caused problems for everyone involved, as a lone boy of 15 was killing and burning an entire city all to find his adoptive mother, a woman who he loved like his real mother. Regardless of how successful the rescue was, the other Taimanin did not approve of Kaiser's methods or how he exposed the public to demons and Taimanin. This led to Kaiser being arrested when he arrived back to the village with his mother on his back by the Taimanin.

For 3 days he was beaten, tortured, and interrogated by his supposed comrades until finally the Elders decided that the only way to fix this fuckup was to execute Kaiser for insubordination. Kaiser was okay with this, as he remembers the tear-filled smile Yukikaze gave him when he brought back their mother, as well as the look of love and relief Shiranui gave him when he rescued her the lab she was imprisoned in.

Luckily for Kaiser, Shiranui woke up from her 3-day coma and got support from the other Clan Head members to stop the execution and reevaluate Kaiser's actions, as he was popular with the younger and more hotblooded Taimanin as well as those who saw massive potential in Kaiser. Though this ended in Kaiser's favor, he never forgives nor forgets what the Elders tried to do to him and his family; thus, he has carried a grudge towards them ever since.

"So...what did the Elders say?" Kaiser asked worryingly, thinking that Shiranui may have gotten tired of him and decided to get rid of him, which was far from the truth as to how Shiranui actually felt for him.

"Oh, it wasn't about you or Yukikaze; it was just the usual stuff about training, missions, politics... that kind of boring stuff."

Kaiser let out a sigh of relief, but this caused Shiranui to laugh at her son's expense.

"Relax. I am only kidding, but seriously, there is nothing new, just some old codgers wanting to argue with each other."

"I see..." Kaiser said in response. For some reason, Kaiser has become restless ever since Shiranui started to avoid him and ignore his presences, and he was unable to figure out why.

"Well, the food was great, Mama... If you guys need me, I'm going to be in the training room." Kaiser said as he got up and put away his dishes.

Shiranui sighed as she knew her distance towards her adopted son was unfair. She loved her son so much, but that was the problem—she loved him too much, more so than a mother should normally love their child. Granted, he wasn't related to her or Yukikaze by blood, but he was still treated as such. It also didn't help that Kaiser had become more masculine and handsome as he got older as he began to work out with his body being at its pinnacle. This led Shiranui to have more indecent thoughts than a normal mother should have about her child, but she could not help it as the lab she was imprisoned in experimented on her with brainwashing and modified her body's sexual sensitivity to be increased when near or touched by the man she was supposed to be enslaved to. This made people compare him to Asagi as the next Super Taimanin, but Kaiser didn't care about that; all he wanted to do was kill demons, as it was an obsession that he couldn't control.

His urge to kill demons was something akin to a savage bloodlust that overtook his mind and actions; luckily, he has been able to keep it a secret from his family and other Tainmanin, as Kaiser had always been sent on solo missions with a handler to help sate this need to kill. This has led to rumors of a mysterious young man killing criminals or demons with ruthless intent while saving the innocent from their clutches.

As Kaiser was training, a set of eyes were watching him discreetly as the young man was focused on his training regime.

It was a mystery that he will never know, as Kaiser is a very serious person who didn't like to talk about his feelings or anything personal due to him not trusting people easily. This made him have no friends other than Yukikaze, Tatsuro, and Rinko, who only associated with him due to their childhood together. Kaiser was often seen with a stoic face and rarely smiles, but he can be very expressive when he is angry or happy, as this gave people the impression that he was a Yankee or Delinquent, as the intense aura and appearance made people steer clear of him.

As the class dragged on something hit Kaiser on the back of his head as he looked down to see a paper note that said "Meet Up on the Rooftop."

Kaiser sighed as he had a feeling as to who it was that wanted to meet up with him. Once class was over, Kaiser grabbed his bento box that his mother made for him and made his way to the rooftop to meet up with a troublesome and persistent Cyclops.
