Part1: The Moonlight Dance
***The Next Day***
Kaiser was in class when he was called to the head mistress Asagi's office. Knowing that Asagi wouldn't call him in for any reason other than for something important made him get up from his chair and make his way to her office.
When he arrived at the door, he knocked three times and waited for an answer.
"Come In"
Kaiser opened the door and stepped into Asagi's office. He looked around the room, as it had a very spartan look to it as Asagi was sitting at her desk going through some documents. Kaiser was trying to figure out what it was she wanted, as he hasn't done anything recently that would warrant the Head Mistress's attention—at least anything that he could remember.
"You wanted me?"
Asagi smiled at him as she looked up from her documents and pointed towards a seat in front of her desk.
"Take a seat."
Kaiser sat down and waited for Asagi to speak, as he had a gut feeling that this was not going to be good.
"How are you feeling today, Kaiser?"
"Fine, I guess... is there something you want, Asagi?" Kaiser asked, cutting straight to the point.
"It's Headmistress, Mr. Wrath...and yes, there is a matter I wish to discuss with you."
Kaiser was nervous, as whatever it was that Asagi wanted to talk about was a serious matter.
"What did I do this time?"
"Nothing at all, but I have been informed by the Elders that your skill level has reached a high enough standard to allow you to take on missions."
"I see... but aren't I still on probation?"
"Yes, but however, because of this, I am also going to be putting you on a special assignment that will... require you to be away from Gosha Village for some time. You will not be allowed to return until your mission is complete."
Kaiser's eyes widen in surprise.
"WHAT! Wait, why the hell is it me that has to do this, and what kind of mission is this that requires me to leave my family for a while?!" Kaiser said distress, as he was not happy with being away from his home for a period of time.
Asagi sighed as she knew this was how Kaiser was going to react to the news, as she knew Kaiser liked to be close to his family after Shiranui's attempted kidnapping. He would not want to be too far away from them, but unfortunately this was an order from the top, as the Elders requested this mission for Kaiser... specifically. This arose suspicion in Asagi as to why they would assign Kaiser, a third-year student of Gosha Academy who was on probation for his reckless actions, for this kind of mission. Granted, he was strong and is considered the human equivalent of a nuclear bomb, but this kind of assignment required a more delicate approach.
"I am sorry, Kaiser, but I cannot tell you much about your mission other than that it is vital to the Taimanin cause and that I need you to trust me."
Kaiser just glared at her, as he did not like being kept in the dark about something so important.
"Why should I trust someone who keeps secrets from me?"
Asagi looked back at him with a serious expression on her face.
"You don't have a choice in this matter, Mr. Wrath. This is an order from the top level of the elders and one which I don't personally agree with but understand it's necessity for our cause." Asagi said with a firm expression.
"This is Fucking Bullshit! Old piece of shit codgers have it out for me. Are you sure there is no one else who can do this assignment, Asagi?"
"For the last time, it's Headmistress, Mr. Wrath, and unfortunately, while I am quite sure that there are others who could do this mission better than you. They are all on missions or assignments that they need to complete first before they can take up this task."
Kaiser sighed as he knew that arguing with Asagi would get him nowhere as she was just as stubborn as he was.
"Fine...I will accept your orders, 'Headmistress'", Kaiser said sarcastically, "but only because I have no other choice."
Asagi smiled at his response, as at least this wouldn't boil into a shouting match, less stress for her.
"So what is this mission about, and when do I leave?"
"You will be leaving tomorrow morning bright and early from Gosha Village at the main gate. The AO Uint has been informed of the details and will allow you to leave. The mission will be explained to you once you arrive at your destination, but for now I suggest you go home and spend some time with Yukikaze and Shiranui before you leave."
"Fine," Kaiser replied, gritting his teeth as he turned around and walked away, not bothering to say goodbye to Asagi.
Asagi watched him leave with a concerned expression on her face as she hoped that this mission wouldn't end up with him getting killed or worse.
"Hey Rinko...where's my sister?" Kaiser asked as he saw his childhood friend in the hallway helping out some of her classmates. The students saw who was coming and quickly excused themselves.
Rinko looked over at Kaiser and smiled as her hand moved some stray bangs from her face.
"She is in the training grounds right now, together with Tatsuro-kun and Yukimura-san. They are sparring against each other while trying to improve their skills."
"Ahh...I see...well, I guess I will go check out how they are doing then."
Kaiser said in a hurry as he began walking towards the training grounds.
"Oh, Kaiser-san! How was your meeting with Headmistress Asagi?" Rinko asked curiously.
"...(sigh) Fuck...hey, do you got a minute to talk?" Kaiser asked, hoping to get this off his chest before he told Yukikaze and Shiranui about his mission.
Rinko was surprised by Kaiser's request but agreed all the same to it, so she followed him into an empty room where they could have some privacy. Once inside, Kaiser turned around and faced Rinko with a serious expression on his face.
"Ok...so here is the thing...Asagi just gave me a fucking solo mission with no handler and I to go on tomorrow morning... I'm going to be gone for a while," Kaiser said as he ran his hands through his light brown hair in frustration.
"What?! But aren't you still on probation?!"
"I know, but this came straight from... those old fucks, The Elders, so she had no choice but to assign me this." Kaiser replied with a sigh.
"I see... well, what are you planning to tell Yukikaze and Shiranui then? You can't just leave without telling them!" Rinko asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I know that... but how am I supposed to tell my sister that her big brother is leaving her alone again to do god knows what? She already lost her father, and now she's gonna freak out about losing her brother... I don't want her to feel alone." Kaiser said sadly as he looked down at the ground in shame. "Fuck...this sucks... Rinko, I need you to make me a promise. If anything happens to me... I want you to look after my little sister Yukikaze and my mother Shiranui... I know that the Akiyama's are sworn to protect the Mizuki's, but I need to hear it from you. Please."
"Ok, Kaiser...I promise I will keep your family safe while you are gone... but please come back alive...for all our sake." Rinko said as she gave him a reassuring smile.
Kaiser nodded his head in acknowledgement before turning around and heading towards the training grounds, where he knew his sister was waiting for him.
Rinko watched as Kaiser left the room before letting out a sigh of distress. She had no idea what kind of mission Headmistress/Commander Asagi would have given him, but whatever it was must be important if she needed someone like Kaiser to go on it. She just hoped Kaiser would return safely, but what if he didn't?
That thought alone sent Rinko's mind into a spiral as she was scared that she wouldn't get the chance to...
Kaiser arrived at the training grounds when he saw his little sister, Tatsuro, and another girl called Yukimura training. He smiled as he watched them spar against each other while trying to think about how he was going to tell his sister that he was leaving her again. Approach the training grounds as Tatsuro was the first to see him as called out to Kaiser. This caused everyone to stop sparring as Yukikaze ran towards her big brother with a huge smile on her face. Kaiser sighs to himself as he gives his little sister a small smile, as his eyes and body language are tense and reclusive.
"What's wrong, Onii-chan? Did something happen?" Yukikaze asked with a curious tone.
"Yukikaze, I have been assigned to a new mission...I have to leave again for a few days." Kaiser replied.
Yukikaze's eyes widened in shock as she heard the news that her big brother was leaving again. She quickly ran over to him and threw herself into his arms as tears began streaming down her face.
"Why do you always have to leave me?! Why can't you just stay here?!"

Kaiser said angrily as he thought about how the Elders had tried to force him into becoming a weapon but had refused every single time.
Yukikaze just stood there in shock as she realized that her brother was actually serious about leaving again. She quickly grabbed onto him and started crying even harder as she began begging him not to go.
"Hey Lil Lighting Bolt... It's gonna be okay because, do you know why?" Kaiser said, trying to comfort his little sister.
"Why?" Yukikaze asked, looking up at him with tears in her eyes.
"Because... Your Big Brother Is Strong." Kaiser said softly as he stroked her hair. "I'll be back soon, I promise you, but first you have to promise me that you won't try to follow after me this time, okay?"
Kaiser remembered the last time his sister had tried to sneak out of Gosha Village to follow after him.

As the Mizuki siblings arrived home and broke the news to their mother that her son, Kaiser, was going away for a while on a mission, unable to return until he accomplished it. Shiranui was shocked and angered when she was told that the Elders had assigned her son to this mission. It almost reminded her of when she was with her husband before he was killed in his last mission.
Shiranui opened her desk's drawer and pulled out a bottle of Plum Sake as she pulled out a cup to help ease her tensions.

"Okay, Big Bro..." Yukikaze said as she nodded her head in understanding.
Kaiser then hugged his little sister tightly. "Alright, Lil Lighting Bolt, it's getting late; we should go and get some sleep." He said as he let go of his little sister.
"Yeah..." Yukikaze said as she got up from her seat and headed towards the door. "Good night, Big Bro." She said before heading back to her room.
