Chapter 11

Epilogue

Once Kaiser reached his hotel room, he went to take a shower to clean all the blood and dirt from his body, as most of his injuries had already healed by then. As he was washing himself, he remembered what he left in his pants pocket, which was the hard drive he pilfered from the laptop back at the Red Dragon's Den, and started laughing, thinking how much trouble it would be if someone were to steal it after all the trouble he went through to get it... Actually, he should probably secure it and make sure no funny business happens. Kaiser didn't get tortured and near die just to trip at the finish line.

As Kaiser dried himself off, he sat on the bed in his boxers when suddenly there was a knock at his door, and without hesitation, he walked over to open it, revealing Azuma, who stood outside his hotel door smiling.

"Hey, are you ready yet?" She laughed with excitement, "Because I am thirsty and hungry... Wonder Boy." Azuma said as her eyes automatically locked on to Kaiser's body. She saw that the young man was in shape and definitely was packing some 'Heat' in his boxers.

Kaiser yelped as he gave Azuma a scowl before responding, "Hey! Easy with the merchandise, and what do you mean by that? Who the hell is watching me?"

"Come on, Wonder Boy. You honestly didn't think people wouldn't notice you after all the trouble you caused 2 years ago during the 'Dies Irae' Incident." Azuma scoffed as she tried to hug Kaiser but realized that her arms could not wrap around him due to their difference in height, so instead she put her face on his chest.

"Uhh... yeah... about...right, well then. I hope this Chinese restaurant is as good as you say it is. After all, a gentleman must treat a lady." Kaiser said as he tired to keep his cool by trying to change the subject with Azuma, as the woman was just as aggressive as Asuka, if not more.

She just gave out a happy laugh and replied, "Ohhh, don't worry, it's totally worth it, and when I am done with you, you are going to have to help carry me back here."

"Well, as I told ya before. I work for Hayato Private Academy, and I am a PE teacher there." She responded while drinking some of her beer that the waitress brought over. "I got a task from the headmistress, Carla Cromwell. Yeah, that Carla Cromwell."

Kaiser couldn't help but laugh at the simplicity of her answer, which made Azuma pout.

"No shit, The Blood Lord. Well, that's a shocker. Well, why did she send you on this mission?"

She smiled deviously as she whispered in his ear, "Tell me, does the name Gram Derrick mean anything to you?"

The way she said it was suggesting some history there, but Kaiser just shook his head. Azuma took another drink before leaning over and whispering more in his ear. "Well, Gram Derrick was a known member of the Mangekyou Syndicate a while back that we hunted down and killed along with his teammates during an operation in Germany 3 years ago. It turned out that he was really just using them to build a spy while working for the BABALO Corporation, who were the ones that funded his little team. We ended up shutting down all of their operations within Japan." Azuma said after taking another drink from her beer mug. "Gram is a criminal vampire who may have gotten in contact with the Red Dragons crime syndicate as well as a few powerful individuals to help rebuild his sphere of influence again."

Kaiser took a drink of his beer as the pieces were starting to come into place. "I see...it's starting to make sense. The Red Dragons were just a convenient group to do their illegal dealings while he maintained his anonymity. It makes sense why that douchebag Kuroi was there... well, that and some other stuff."

Kaiser thought about all the things that happened in the last few days before sighing while taking another drink from his glass. He really didn't like all this intrigue and conspiracy, as it was so much simpler to just punch in some asshole's face and call it a day.

Azuma giggled at this, which caused Kaiser to roll his eyes at her. She laughed again before replying, "The headmistress wanted to see if Gram was in Tokyo, but apparently he was not, and I got captured after that; the rest is history."

Kaiser stared at her and raised his eyebrow before replying with a short reply of, "Sure, but first, help me finish this drink."

She just smiled at him as she handed him another glass of beer. Azuma pulled out a cigarette to light it up for a smoke as she took a drag and asked Kaiser her question, "Why don't you think about your past? Like, who were you before you lost your memory? I mean, if you don't want to answers, that's cool too. I was just wondering because you should think more about that and getting your memories back."

Kaiser didn't say anything as he drank his beer; he grabbed another one and started to drink it as he started to feel more relaxed.

"I tried, you know... I tried to find out who I am or who I was, but nothing shows up. From the Japanese government to the USF database, hell, I even tried getting something from the Chinese Union, but there are no records of me anywhere. When she was done cleaning up, Azuma came out of the bathroom looking much better than she had when she went into it as she started to dress herself up, pulling on her underwear and pants first, followed by her black string bikini and red leather jacket. After dressing herself, she stepped out of the room to find that Kaiser was ready to return to Gosha village. His body, though heavily scarred, was still at its peak and prime, and with his wounds already healed from last night, Azuma walked over to him and kissed him once more, taking a step back.

Azuma sighed happily at the memory of last night, knowing she wouldn't mind doing it again. Once he finished checking out and getting all his belongings in order, Kaiser headed outside the hotel to wait for Azuma so that they could say their final goodbyes. It didn't take long until Azuma emerged from the hotel as she saw Kaiser in a dark green tank top with a grey bomber jacket and dark blue boot cut jeans, as he had a pair of brown leather boots and leather riding gloves. He placed his bag over his shoulders and secured his briefcase as he got his bike ready to leave Tokyo and go back home to Gosha Village.

"So, I guess I'll be seeing you around?" He told her as they embraced for a final goodbye kiss. "Thanks again, Azuma."

"Don't mention it, Wonder Boy," she replied in a flirtatious tone before smiling at him once more. "Until next time."

Kaiser got his bike started and revved up its engine as he made a long ride back to Gosha Village.
