A/N: Alright back to our regular schedule program. As I said before these next few chapters will be a slice of life and slow down pace that will dive a bit into Kaiser life and his relationship with his classmates and teachers as well as how they view him as an Outsider. There will be hints as to what to expect and some future plot points later in the story. Also is it Fuma with 1 U or Fuuma with two because the fan translation are bit confusing on that.
Oh and one more thing I will go back to the previous chapters and fix grammar errors as well as add in anything I forgot to had. As I said before that the First Draft is trash second one is the improvement and the third is were you actually begin with what you want.
Thank you guys for the Reviews and Support. I hope to keep you all entertain.

Chapter 13
The Outcast of Gosha
Kaiser walked along the old dirt road with his little sister as they made their way towards Gosha Academy. On the side of the road, there were old signs warning people to keep out of restricted areas. The restricted area was filled with wild ninja beasts and other hazards if one wasn't careful.
As the siblings kept walking up the hill that lead to Gosha Academy, the scenery slowly started changing from open fields to a small town with houses and Clan compounds here and there that hid Taimanin within them. At the very top of the mountain path, you would see an impressive Academy built into the ground with Taimanin training around it. Kaiser looked at this sight; the fact that his family lived among all these amazing fighters who could destroy entire platoons of normal soldiers amazes him still to this day.
Reaching the front gates of Gosha Academy, Kaiser saw other students were making their way to class already with some of them running late, but he saw no reason to hurry, so he kept up his leisure pace and eventually joined the group at the school entrance.
It was then he saw his first headache of the day, Yatsu Murasaki. He sighed deeply as the stuck-up big head teacher turned towards him with a grimace on her face before she noticed Yukikaze walking beside him.
"You again," she said coldly while pointing a finger at Kaiser. "Make sure you are not late for class, Mr. Wrath, and Mrs. Mizuki; make sure your brother behaves himself."
Kaiser just shrugged his shoulders and decided that this wasn't worth getting into another pointless fight over something so stupid, so he walked past her before he made a akanbe face that had him pull down his lower eyelid while sticking his tongue out at her. The only response he got from Murasaki was a scoff, but it felt like there was some real heat behind it.
"This woman has the biggest hate boner for me for some reason." He thought while rolling his eyes and headed to his class, which was 3-C. There he saw many students already seated, waiting for their teachers arrival, and when he saw Shido Rinka take a seat beside him, he couldn't help but groan.
"Glad to see you too Rinka but please don't give me a hard time. My ass just got back last night from a long mission, and I'm tired as shit." Kaiser said with exhaustion as his morning started out rough and didn't want to add more to it.
However, before either of them could continue their conversation, more students entered the room and were soon followed by none other than the homeroom teacher, Igawa Sakura, the younger sister of the headmistress/Commander Asagi.
While she wasn't a fan favorite among the more serious Taimanin, Kaiser was grateful for her being his homeroom teacher, since no matter how big of an idiot Murasaki is, he was glad not to have to deal with any of that. It also helped that Sakura was one of the few teachers who didn't get upset about his tardiness and the many other problems he caused. She was a very kind woman that took everything in stride like a champ and had been trying to help him become a better person by trying to get Kaiser to connect with his classmates. He had even taken up her advice on meditation to try and help him gain some sort of control over the anger that lived inside him.
"Alright class! Your favorite and youthful teacher, Kuroneko-Sensei, has arrived! Kyaa! I can't believe I that in front of my students!" Sakura said to her class while giggling nervously after all the the students took a seat at their desks. Sakura got behind the podium so everyone could see her as she did roll call.
Kaiser smiled at the older female's antics as there was never a dull moment with her.
Sakura finished roll call, and the class bowed as they got their textbooks out with Sakura starting on today's lessons.
During class Kaiser couldn't help but wonder what was for lunch as his stomach growled in hunger. This school had good food after all, but none of it could compared to his mother's bentos which she had packed for him and Yukikaze before they left for school. He knew that he would enjoy it and was more than happy to look forward to a full meal today filled with his mother's love...and something more.
He took the chance during class to text Yukikaze if she would be free after school; if so, maybe they could play some video games together at the arcade or go out on an shopping after school. It had been two days since he had gotten back home from his last mission, and he wanted nothing more than to hang out with his little sister.
The day went on without incident until the next class that was schedule was PE class...
with Murasaki.
Kaiser groaned as he complained that some greater higher power had it out for him as he didn't feel like dealing with the most ornery or pain in the ass women who had it out for him.
Murasaki is a hardworking and confident Taimanin, that was very serious and strict on her students. Having a really stern and sharp tongue, with little tolerance for other people's nonsense especially those of Kaiser Wrath's. She is hard to approach for other students and even for some teachers, coming across as cold and mean most of the time. Murasaki was respected as an idol of Gosha Academy and Student Council President during her youth as she was the "Strongest Taimanin" in pure physical strength and second-strongest overall next to Asagi. It was also part of the reason that when Kaiser was enrolled into Gosha Academy and was allowed to take the Special Curriculum due to his family connections, this angered Murasaki who felt that this... Outsider was being given preferential treatment by abusing his ties with the influential Mizuki Clan. It was only after Kaiser proved himself to be not only competent combatant but was considered to be the next strongest Taimanin which was a title she was not ready to hand over, especially if it was to a punk and unworthy snot nose brat.
Murasaki has always had mixed feeling about Kaiser being her student, who for all tends and purpose was as delinquent and rogue who was also strong enough to keep up with her, perhaps even stronger than her but found out he was difficult to control or guide. This was especially prevalent during the "Dies Ires" Incident in which he was to be executed for breaking the Laws and traditions of the Taimanin. She saw why he did it to save his adopted mother, Shiranui, but knew that the Laws and Rules were in place for a reason to keep them safe. After the incident she made it a vow to put Kaiser on the correct path of being a proper Taimanin as she saw him as powerful and valuable asset to the Taimanin cause but comes off a being too harsh or strict on Kaiser as the young man is very anti-authoritarian thus earning her ire.
Kaiser decided to try and skip class but before he could was stopped by the class president, Yui Futaba, whom Kaiser would call a ass kissing teacher's pet, but it seemed like she just had a stick up her butt anyway whenever the Mad Dog was involved. She tried to lecture him about proper classroom behavior and being a role model to humanity, but Kaiser didn't care about such things and turned his nose up at her before leaving towards the locker room to get changed.
Standing in the sports field behind Gosha Academy was Class 3-C with the boys and girls being separated into two groups as they were participating in a track and field exercises. As they prepared for their races, the students started talking among themselves about who had a chance of winning, especially with breaking the new track record.
The teacher Murasaki would have groups do laps around the track field while other students would do sprints, shot put throws ,high jumps, and training their bodies to their absolute limits. She watched with pride, as she saw them excel in their own abilities, while also keeping an eye on Kaiser, who was considered one of the most physically gifted student in the school. As they all performed way beyond human physical levels; at the end, there was only Kaiser, Kotaro, and Shikanosuke left as Murasaki had it out for them.
"Alright, you three this will be the last exercise of the day... get at the edge and begin running when I blow the whistle. The goal is to run 20 laps as fast as you can. Ready. (Whistle Blows) GO!" Musaki yelled as the 3 (?) males began running.
"Fuuma! Uehara! Pick up the pace!" Murasaki bellowed out as the rest of the students stood by the side lines watching the School's Dead Last, his Mascot, and the dreaded Mad Dog running laps around the track field of Gosha Academy.
The student ninjas have been training under the summer sun in the draining heat of Japan. Dressed in official sports wear of Gosha Academy, with the men wearing dark green gym shorts with white T-shirts while the girls were dressed in dark green sports bloomers and white T-shirts. The girls gym attire did very little to hide their developed bodies as the sweat on their bodies outline their super model frames and bodacious curves to the boys who found themselves starring at them with perverted side eyes.
"Kaiser Stop slacking off; I know you can go faster than this!"
Most of the students have already finished their reps, but there are still three students running around the Track as fast as they could to finish their last reps while everyone relaxed under the shade by the water fountains as they cool themselves off from the summer heat.
"Don't you two dare stop, keep pushing!" Murasaki's voice bellowed over the chatting students as she turned her attention to the school's biggest problem child. " KAISER! STOP GOOFING OFF OR SO HELP ME...!"
The dark blue hair of Kotarou's dashing through the the field as he push himself on the straight away as he slowed down on the turns as to pace himself moderately. While Shikanosuke's long brown hair that was tied in a high ponytail was bopping up and down as the small femboy just about reached Kotarou. Kaiser on the other hand was taking his sweet time and decided not to go all out as he felt tired and just wanted to piss his teacher off.
"Hmph, what a loser. The idiot one-eye is only good for slacking off." The girl with medium length flaming red hair scoffed as she watched Kotaro push himself to try and outpace Shikanosuke. Her orange eyes were rolling as Kotaro actually overtook his best friend's pace pulling ahead of the femboy.
Impressive for a human but weak for a Taimanin.
"Seriously, why did Lady Asagi make the stinky one-eye idiot lead the task force? The Idiot couldn't even fight his way out of a garbage bag." Sighed a blonde-haired Taimanin. Her dark yellow eyes were more interested in the ice orb she made to help cool herself off. She rolled it between her fingers as she and her friends sat under the shade of a tree overlooking the three misfits.
"Perhaps for political reasons?" A girl with dark black hair that was tied into a bun, Hinoka tilted her head as she genuinely thinking of what the reasons behind the Head Mistress's/Commander's decision in making the heir of a clan who was once one of their former enemies in charge of such an important Force. "Maybe taking in a charity case like him will make the Iwaga clan look good and the Fuuma clan, their rivals, subservient to them."
"Yeah, maybe, but I can't accept a weakling like him could lead a whole task force without fucking up badly or worse...betraying us like his Rotten Father did." Seikima scoffed. "Hell, I've heard rumors that he even commands Lady Asagi and on the battlefield."
"Ha! Bullshit! That dumbass couldn't even lead himself out of a dumpster fire if his life depended on it!" The blonde let out a deep laugh.
"Come on, Emiki. Don't insult the dumpster like that." The girl with dark, long hair giggled behind her hand.
"Yeah, Hinoka's right." Seikima smirked. "At least a Dumpster can at least make better shield than that one-eye loser."
"Well, at least Shika-chan has a small body and cute face going for him." Seikima said as she licked her lips like a starving lioness as she watched the clan head do his last lap behind Kotaro.
"Seikima…Your love of small guys is going to get you on a list some day." Hinoka sighed at her friends...questionable proclivities.
"Well, at least they are way better than the, Disgrace of the Mizuki's." Emiki scoffed as Kaiser was jogging at a leisurely pace, not concerned that he can hear people talking ill of him.
This was normal for Kaiser as the young man could care less for the opinions of the weak sheep when he was the Apex Predator of the student body which is why their jealous stares and envious words did little to upset him.
"I heard that Lady Asagi recently sent the 'Mad Dog of Ruin' on a mission to Tokyo and still manage to destroy a whole city block by himself." Hinoka said quietly was Kaiser shot her a feral smirk with his teeth out as to cause fear and unsettle the gossipers.
"Seriously, why do we even keep that psycho around? All he is going to do is cause trouble for Yukikaze and Rinko... If only those two would cut ties with him, they would be much happier. I mean their the Next Generation Aces and that...Outsider is nothing but a Black Dog causing misery to those around him." Seikima said as Kaiser faintly heard her words and felt his irritation starting to rise.
This finally made him start to run faster, as he soon caught up to Kotaro and Shikanosuke and soon pass over them as he looked like a Wild Hound on the Hunt. He dash through the track in record breaking time that he wasn't even tired or winded from the non stop-sprint run even after he was goofing earlier. This reminded everyone who was watching that once again Kaiser was the strongest of them who wasn't even able to use a Ninja Art or the Taima Particles.
"Fuuma! Uehara! Good work." Murasaki's booming voice made some of the students turn their heads towards her. "About damn time you took this seriously, Wrath. Why can't you do that from the very start?"
Murasaki sighs as she knew the raw potential Kaiser had just like her during her youth but he always acted difficult with teachers and authority figures due to his checkered past. Getting a look at Shikanosuke panting as he dragged himself under the shade, Murasaki nodded her head in approval as Kotarou took a drink of water from a water bottle he had on him as Kaiser following behind them looking...upset.
"You both shorten your times by a fair amount. Keep it up and you'll soon be see improvements." Murasaki said as she gave Shikanosuke a pat on the back.
"Ack!?" And nearly made the short young man(?) topple over into the ground as Murasaki forgot her strength for a moment. Murasaki walked up to Kaiser, who had an annoyed look on his face, as he hated when people talked about his sister and him being a cause of trouble for her.
"Kaiser... would you come see me after class?"
Kaiser sighs as he just nodded his head, knowing it would be easier if he just agreed with his teacher for once.
"Sure...Fine...whatever."
"Oh wow. They improved...a whole three seconds." Seikima said as she rolled her eyes. "What a joke, right? Hm? Hey, you okay?"
"…." Hinoka wasn't saying anything as her face became horribly flushed. Bright red, with her pupils dilated as they gazed out at something.
"Ah..w-well…." Emiki's words failed her as she followed what her friends were looking at. Her mouth tried to close itself while her cheeks also lit up in a blaze of red.
"The heck have you two so stupid-looking?" Seikima sighed and followed to what where her friend's eyes were gazing.
"Holy...!" And her hair caught fire. Unconsciously, her Taimanin ability activated as he body flickered a few wisps of flames around her as the heat of the summer wasn't the only thing that was Hot. Her face matched the color of her friends, and they all found themselves staring at the head of the Fuuma clan.
"Ahhh...need to keep going...need to get stronger." Kotaro mumbled to himself as his hands danced through his sweat drench hair to adjust it.
Attractive men and women in Gosha are nothing new. It may as well be a requirement for being a Taimanin to not at least be somewhat appealing to the eye in some way, but it is mainly due to the intense training all the Taimanin take.
However, Kotaro seemed to hit every button that nearly anyone would find appealing. Firm, strong muscles traced his arms. Large but not comically so, they fit his lithe frame made more for speed than raw power. His broad chest flexed with the movements of him wiping the sweat from his face. The veins on his arms throbbed as Kotaro flex and relaxed his body but his abdomen kept most of the women's eyes glued to him. Hard, looking nearly like a stone as the sun bounced off it, the students let their eyes go over every smooth bump and curve. Following the light scars over his chest and stomach, he has gained from fighting.
Hinoka has never been so jealous of water bottle he was drinking from as as a small drop spilled form his soft lips as a trail of it sliding down off his chin to his collarbone and down his chest.
Emiki's mind began to wonder as the image of Kotarou picking her up in his muscled arms and folding her into positions she shouldn't be able to... but then she saw him stretch, and she suddenly felt the urge to cross her legs and bit her lip from voicing her hungry growl as shivers ran down her spine.
Seikima eyes trailed the single droplet of water as it snaked down towards the young man's happy trail, following down his waist further until it reaches right at his...
"O-oh m-my…." The fire wisps on the young girl's head began to combust into tiny pops as her nose began to bleed a little. It seems the 'One Eye' of the Fuuma clan's heir is a monster in its own right.
The girls aren't the only ones watching the young clan head who was walking towards the water foutains.
"The things I'd let him do to me..." Noa whispered. The girlish young man, older than Kotarou by a year, kept a ravenous gaze on his captain and fellow kohai.
"Uhh... senpai?" One of the male students interrupted as he was asking Noa for advice but notice concerning amount of drool was leaking from his senpai's lips.
"O=Oh right. What was your question again?" Noa said, trying to dismiss his hungry gaze.
But what stopped everyone's chatter was the imposing figure of Kaiser Wrath who came into view.
The Strongest and Most Violent Person in Gosha Academy had at least one redeeming quality... the guy was built like a Greek Statue. If Kotaro was a supermodel, then Kaiser was built like demigod-made flesh. There was not an ounce of fat on him as his muscles bulged with power from years of harsh training. He had wide chiseled chest and slim waist that was made for both power and agility as his 8-pack abs were lined with scars or burns from his many battles he had gone through with some of them looking fresh that was most likely from his last mission, a testament to his unbroken will. His face was also sculpted with sharp foreign facial feature as sweat dripped down his head down his face and medium-length unkempt light brown hair as it gave him the look of a man of the wild. As indicated before that Kaiser was not of Japanese descent but possibly European or Mediterranean with his bronze tanned skin and light green eyes. Lastly, the one thing that made Kaiser stand out was the sheer size of his 'package' as the man would give Kotaro a run for his money, as the size of his dick was that of a horse that it threatened to spill out of his dark green school gym shorts as it did little to hide it.
The students watched him silently as the school's biggest delinquent walked towards the water fountains, amazed that such a specimen was a student, as he looked like a walking ad for body building as water sweat down from his body. Yui, Rinka, and even Noa, along with a few other students, blushed deeply as they knew that while Kaiser was the mortal enemy of the student counsel with his truant behavior but couldn't resist the siren's call of the man's body that stood before them.
'Be careful, Fuuma-san and Wrath-san. You have more than the girls to fight off.' The male students around Nao thought with worried look.
All the girl's eyes were glued to Kotaro and Kaiser as they watched them walk by as if they were watching delicious meals of all you can eat buffet of carnal flesh passing them by.
"Does Anyone else feel like joining the task force?" Seikima asked quietly as the other girls dumbly nodded their heads.
"Phew… Murasaki-sensei is as tough as ever, don't you think so Shika-chan." Kotarou joked as he had his back turned next to Shikanosuke, whose eyes had counted all the lustful, drooling faces staring at his best friend.
"What?" Kotarou asked. Titling his head like the stupid dog he can be at times.
"Nothing. I was just wondering if that body of yours should come with a warning label or something." Shikanosuke joked as he continued to dry off his sweaty face with a towel. As they talked, they soon noticed Kaiser approaching them. Shikanosuke shrieked in a girlish way while Kotaro glared at him as he was still mad after their last encounter, but most importantly, the info Asagi gave him about Kaiser being suspected of being a traitor.
"Kaiser-san... I heard that your last mission was a success; congratulations on coming back alive." Kotaro said as he kept his guard up while analyzing Kaiser. Shikanosuke, on the other hand, hid behind his best friend, hoping that Kaiser wouldn't notice him.
"Huh oh... yeah, I guess... also stop that Kotaro." Kaiser said to Kotaro as he didn't llike the look the young Fuma was giving him.
"Huh? What do you mean, Kaiser-san?" Kotaro said nervously as he prepared himself for whatever actions that Gosha's Academy's most violent student would take.
"I mean, you can stop analyzing me like I'm some animal at the zoo... I fucking hate it when you do that. If you got something to say, then say it because I'll give it to you straight like I always do." Kaiser said as he stood over Kotaro looking down on him. Kotaro didn't back down in fear as Kaiser had a good foot over him as he had to look up at Kaiser while staring at him straight in the eyes.
"...(Giggle)...Hehehe...AHHAHAHAHA!" Kotaro burst out laughing as he relaxed himself around Kaiser, as he had his normal easy-going smile on his face. "Of course, you would say, Kaiser-san, you're the type of guy who doesn't hide how he feel and always faces things head-on... You don't have the mindset for schemes or plans."
Kaiser gave Kotaro a confused look as he was thrown off by his sudden change in attitude. "The fuck are you talking about...as a matter of fact, don't tell me. It's probably another one of those weird hair-brain schemes of yours, so leave me out of it."
Kotaro threw his hand on Kaiser's shoulder as he proceeded to act all buddy-buddy with the Mad Dog. "Aww, Kaiser-san, don't be like that; after all, you still haven't apologized to Shikanosuke after beating him up so badly last time... I heard that his cousin, Rin, is looking for you."
Kaiser's face turned pale as he heard those words.
"What?! Rin-sensei is looking for me...fuck me!" Kaiser said nervously as he looked down on the small Shikanosuke. "Hey you!"
Kaiser directed all of his attention to Shikanosuke.
"Aiiiieeee! Y-Yeah...huh, what do you want?" Shikanosuke said nervously as he felt himself shrink under Kaiser's intimidating gaze.
"….. I'm sorry for beating you up and saying those mean things before... I was just... frustrated about some personal stuff on that day, and I didn't mean to take it out on you." Kaiser said in an apologetic manner as Shikanosuke stared at him with his mouth open. Kotaro once again burst out laughing as he was surprised that the infamous Kaiser Wrath was apologizing to his best friend Shikanosuke.
"Ahh! umm...ahhh... I-I...guess... I mean, it was my fault as well for trying to pick a fight with you." Shikanosuke said as he looked at the grounds, embarrassed as to how he lost to Kaiser, as he didn't even last a minute against him. Kaiser was annoyed by Shikanosuke's demeanour as he used his hand to tilt Shikanosuke's chin up towards him as he wanted to see him eye to eye.
"Don't be... it took balls and courage to face me like you did... I can respect that in a man who stands strong and faces whatever is in front of him, no matter the odds." Kaiser said as Shikanosuke eyes lit up with admiration at Kaiser. Kaiser finally acknowledged him as a man and even told him that he respected him. This made Shikanosuke blush as he was finally becoming mainly and was given words of praise from the manliness man he knew.
"Are you two trying to flirt?" Kotaro said as the moment was ruined.
"..." Shikanosuke smiled. "Ora!"
"Ouch!" Kotaro blurred out as he was kicked by his best friend in the shins.
The onlookers saw this interaction, and rumors began to spread about the trio, as this would cause Kaiser no end of his daily troubles.
A knock sounded off on Asagi's office door as it made her turn away from her sister to address the person behind it. "Yes?"
"It's me, Asagi-sama." Kotarou's voice boomed from behind the door.
"Ah, come in then." Asagi said as she was at her desk, shifting through her paperwork.
The young man was greeted with the cheery face of Sakura, the warm maternal smile of Shiranui, and the gentle grins of Rin and Asagi. While Kotaro greeted them with stacks of binders in his arms. Two under his arm, one in his hand, and the other impressively balanced on his head.
"My apologies for bothering you, but I brought in some applications on some new recruits for you to review."
"Fuuma-kun. I trust in your judgment, so you don't need my second option on theses." Asagi said but accepted the applications on her desk none the less.
"I know." Kotarou nodded his head in agreement as he took up one of the binders to look them over. "So I already went through in pre-approving most of them. There are just some I think we may need to look over."
With his eyes scanning the files, Kotaro analytical mind quickly summarized what he needed to know as he read then to Asagi.
"Seikima Hibana. She's from a small clan who specializes in the Flame Ninja Arts, she has some good fire skills such as being able to set the air around her on fire to create distractions or summon flame wisps to help her in combat. She is also able to imbue her fire element into objects such as swords and shuriken. Her grades are slightly above average in medical theory and is apart of the medical combatant corps on the field."
Asagi gave her approval as having someone so skilled in the fire arts was always a boon on the frontlines even more so if they were field medics that could potentially save lives in the process.
"Hinoka Suigetsu. An Archer who uses the water arts, she is an expert archer that is able to weave illusions into her arrows as she fires them while also able to create water clones to disorient her enemies. Good at range but she prefers more stealth and infiltration tactics. Something we need a lot more of, so she has my approval."
Kotarou grabbed another binder as he opened it for Asagi to assess.
"Emiki Yoshika. One of the few Taimanin's born in the west, so she speaks fluent English, French, and Spanish which are all good languages to have. She possesses the Ice Arts same as Kirara but she can only shape them into rudimentary objects but her true talents lies in her ability to crackdown on cyber-security warfare and is an expert interrogator as she is sometimes called into extract information from prisoners. Rather good grades overall in human psychology and oddly enough... flower arrangement. She known for more of a support role in gathering intelligence. Having another one would not hurt. Then there's Mrs. Mara..."
"Huh? I thought she retired after her husband passed away." Rin spoke up with a curious brow.
"So did I." Kotaro nodded with her in agreement. "But she came to me yesterday to request a position... and strangely enough a side gig as her...umm... Pool Boy?"
The young clan head looked through the files that he had gone over many times with a narrowed, befouled brow.
"Something wrong?" Asagi asked.
"Ah... well. I just notice that Gosha Village has a rather high number of female Taimanin wanting to join the Task Force but it's a little odd seeing the gender discrepancy so big... I wonder why?" The young man gained hidden pain looks from nearly every woman in the room at his obliviousness, save for Asagi.
Asagi gave a warm smile. "You shouldn't downplay your own accomplishments, Fuuma-kun. You helped not only Gosha but many of your comrades with your instructions alone. You've pushed past the social stigma your father has left behind on your clan and there is still a lot you need to do, but even so, you've made great strides, and the world is starting to take notice of you."
"Ah! Well. Ahem..." Kotaro turned bright red at the blunt praise from the one woman he looked up to the most as he was taking a moment to adjust himself before bowing. "Thank you, Asagi-sama. Excuse me, but there is one other potential recruit I would like to add personally..."
'He may be a mastermind in combat, but his social skills are...' Rin sighed. Feeling sorry for every woman who joined the task force and, strangely enough, her younger cousin, who is forced to deal with the oblivious clan head's antics.
'He's such an oblivious cutie~.' Sakura summed up with a giggle. 'Kinda like Someone else I know...~Nyahaha.'
'~Ara Ara. It seems like Yukikaze has quite the uphill battle for her big brother's attention now.' Shiranui giggled. 'Maybe I should teach her how I was able to secure her father. Though…that may be too bold for her~.'
"Well, I say it's a good thing you are so focused." Asagi said plainly as she looked through the papers. "It makes it easier to encourage for new recruits to join and it keeps them on a tight leash. So to speak."
For a moment, the room was silent at Asagi's words mainly because everyone was thinking the same thing.
'She's pimping him out.'
"Eh heh… Your quite the scary mastermind yourself, sis." Sakura chuckled wearily. However, ice ran through the Taimanin's veins as Asagi's gave closed eyes smile towards her.
"Hm? What was that, Sakura? Something about cleaning your room today?"
"Y-Yup! I'll get right on that,Sis!" Using her shadow skills, Sakura dove into her shadow and left the room. All the while, the 'oblivious cutie' was none the wiser.
After Sakura had left the room a more serious mood was set as Kotaro took a deep breath as he went over his request and all possible contingencies that he went over last night hoping that all those hours he practice on the mirror was all for naught.
"Asagi-sama, the recuit that I had in mind is someone that I personally want for my Independent Ranger Squad... Please, Asagi-sama...let me have Kaiser Wrath join the Task Force." Kotaro said seriously as all the friendly face's in the room suddenly turned more dour and quiet. "He has proven time and again to be a good judge of character when it comes to theoretical problems and is able to come up with practical solutions when needed."
"Though his attitude still needs... improvement." Rin interjected, making her case. "I think he may prove to be an important asset if handled correctly."
Asagi nodded her head at their reasoning but was concerned with the young man in question, as she was deep in thought over the request. Looking between the two women in the room women before sighing.
"That maybe," Asagi said with a small sigh. "… But he is still too violent and out of control. I mean, just recently he destroyed a whole city block while he was supposed to be on a recon mission. All this paperwork right here is his doing!"
"Calm down, Asagi-sama! I'm sure the situation was dire, and..." Kotaro pleaded desperately as this was not what he had plan for as he forgot that Kaiser had a unique gift for pissing people off.
The silence continued as Asagi reached the last page of the file, which listed the many reports of his destructive nature and what not. "Though He does get results, so we can't really complain there." She said it in a neutral voice. "But his 'Practical Solutions' tend to cause thousands if not millions in damage.
Shrugging her shoulders, she finally decided on a path forward, closing the files she turned to Rin.
"You are use to dealing with him since you have experience curtailing his violent outbursts... it may even seem that he may be fond of you since your were one of his Combat Instructors in his youth. Well that or your just easy to please. Either way, Rin you'll be assign as his permanent handler, good luck on keeping him in check. We'll keep an eye on Kaiser for now before I make my decision on his admission into the Task Force so consider this a special exception for your clan, Kotaro-san, but this is all I can do at this moment."
Kaotaro smiled gratefully and he jump for joy in his mind. "Thank you very much; I am honored to serve Gosha and Japan!"
"See that you don't disappoint me, boy!" Asagi chuckled and gave the young man a quick look over, from head to toe.
Kotaro shivered at the intense gaze of the woman who was considered the Strongest of all the Taimanin and probably all of Japan.
"Is there anything else you need from me?"
"No, that's it... You may go." Asagi sighed before turning to the other two. "Please escort Rin out for me while we finish up here."
Asagi had turned back to her desk as Shiranui remains by her desk waiting for the pair to leave. They nodded, rising from their seats before taking their leave. As they left Asagi's office, Shiranui stayed behind.
"Sigh. I know what you're going to say, Shiranui, and I don't have time for it today." She said when her friend closed the door behind her.
"That you shouldn't judge someone on by the rumors that are spread about him just because he has been a bit brash in the past?" Shiranui scowled and waited till Asagi looked up at her with a frustrated expression on her face.
"It's not just that." Asagi groaned as she rubbed her temples. "That kid of yours is way too much trouble for our resources to handle. First of all, he doesn't listen to anything anyone says, always starting arguments with his teachers and authorities that leads to his insubordinate behavior. Secondly, he is reckless out in the field and does no think of the consequences of his actions; he does what ever he pleases that causes problems for everyone who are force to clean up after him. Now we find out he even has connections with criminals and certain individuals which has put him under the scrutiny of the Council of Elder...Again, mind you! Why did he think I sent him on that mission? Did he honestly think he was going have an easy excuse to run wild again without us knowing about it!"
Asagi raised her voice in frustration but quickly took another deep breath to calm herself before speaking again.
"Did you know this kid even has his own personal network of informants now, Shiranui?" She asked while raising an eyebrow.
Shiranui sighed deeply as she knew of her sons personal contacts during his mission. "You knew about that one already, huh?"
Asagi just stared at Shiranui, waiting for more information on the topic, and after some time it became clear that none would speak on the matter. "Shira-san, I know you love your son very much."
Shiranui scoffed as she gave an Asagi cold and annoyed look.
"That boy was lost, naked, and alone when I found him. He was an empty husk of a child with no memories as to who he is or if he even had a family. What was I supposed to do? Leave him to the elements or surrender him to the state and pretend it wasn't my problem? I gave him a home, a family, love, and most importantly, a chance to be happy as he struggles to find out who he really is. Asagi, that boy was so starved for an identity that he reaches out to anyone who would give him one." Shiranui said as her voice was beginning to raise as she was getting heated about having to defend her adopted son from the accusations and insult people made of him just because he wasn't born a Taimanin.
"After Kenichi died, Kaiser lost the only man he could call a father and it hurt him deeply, so much that the boy was afraid that his home and family would fall apart.. when I lost my husband and had gotten kidnapped... I was almost turned into a sex slave."
Shiranui started to breakdown in tears as she remembers the day she woke up from her 3-day coma after being tortured and sexually assaulted for 4 months straight only to find out from her crying daughter that her son, who fought through hell to save her, was going to be killed by the people who he was supposed to trust.
"And that very same boy who wasn't even a Taimanin risked his life and reputation to find and rescue me because of the love he has fo his family, that boy is the only reason I am still here... AND THOSE OLD FUCKERS HAD THE AUDACITY TO CALL HIM A TRAITOR AND EXECUTE HIM FOR SAVING THOSE WHOM HE LOVES!"
Asagi remained quiet, surprised at this new information, but quickly spoke up when she saw the Mizuki matriarch slowly calming down.
"Shiranui-san... I'm sorry; I know that was a sensitive topic. We all feel your pain and suffering about what happened to your husband, and if we could go back in time to fix it, we would do so in a heartbeat. It was not the best decision to sentence Kaiser to death, but the Elders were getting restless and angry that your son was causing too much trouble. It was going to end badly no matter how it turned out for him or you." Asagi said calmly as she continued her explanation of events that took place while Shiranui was recovering. "I did try to appeal on your behalf to the elders and asked them to change their minds, but they refused every option I gave them... You have no idea how hard it is to deal with those old farts, especially now when Fuuma Kotaro has been putting a new Taimanin task force together. They are willing to give any orders just to spite him and Kaiser."
"Asagi, if you had a chance to save your Finance Kyousuke from his fate, even if it meant going against the wishes of the Elders, would you do it?" Shiranui asked as she knew she was playing dirty by touching on a sensitive topic for Asagi, as she still loved her dead finance, whom she was forced to kill.
"That's not fair, Mizuki-dono. You know I would do anything to keep Kyosuke alive, which is why what happened to him hurts me more than any blade of any demon... It pains my soul that I am the reason he is no longer in this world, but that does not mean I have given up in trying to get justice for all those innocent lives lost to demons." Asagi said with a determined look as she went over to the window and looked outside into the afternoon sunset, "Why would I accept any compromise or mercy from a bunch of bastards who betrayed me and my sister?"
Shiranui sighed as she knew this was her being a bitch, but she was tired of people accusing her son of being a "Mad Dog" as though he was some psychopath or villian.
"Then maybe you and my son have more in common than you think... Asagi, please look beyond the rumors and trust in my son... He was never a bad boy... just misunderstood." Shiranui asked as she saw how Asagi stood still for a few moments before replying.
"You are right... I'm sorry, Shiranui-san; I wasn't fair to Kaiser. He has only done his best, which I know, because I trained him myself when he was younger, along with Yukikaze." Asagi said as she let out a small chuckle, remembering some old memories of her youth. "He will do well at this new Taimanin Task Force, and I promise to keep a close eye on him."
"Thank you. That's all I ask from you. He may be rough around the edges, but he is a good persona at heart." Shiranui said as the conversation was wrapping up. "Take care of yourself, Asagi, and come see me again soon. We still need to go drinking one day." Shiranui added as they both exchanged final pleasantries.
Kaiser was standing in the teacher's faculty room as he had his hands in his pockets as Murasaki sat across from him with an annoyed look, while Kaiser had a bored expression on his face as he looked at a window, his elsewhere daydreaming.
"Mr. Wrath, what is going on with you? First you tried cutting class, and then you were goofing off during practice, and on top of that, there are rumors going around that you were bullying Uehara-san. Kaiser, I know that you are under 'special' circumstances with Gosha that you may feel justified in acting out, but that is no excuse for not taking things seriously. I have high expectations from you, and you're letting them down." Murasaki said as she lectured the academy's biggest problem child.
Kaiser broke his daydream to only meet Murasaki's gaze before giving a small shrug and saying, "Sorry, Murasaki-sensei. I guess my mind was somewhere else today."
Murasaki let out a heavy sigh as Kaiser just looked back outside the window like a little boy who didn't care about being in trouble.
"Oh yeah, also about that whole bullying thing... I think we both know that that's a lie... Shikanosuke and I had...a 'friendly' spar and nothing else." Kaiser said with his usual blunt honesty, which caused Murasaki to lose her temper for a second before composing herself and speaking in a calm voice.
"Just because we all know it was a fight doesn't mean the rumors don't spread and cause problems, Mr. Wrath. Please stop making things worse for yourself. I get it that you are fighting against demons and criminals, but don't add to that stress by starting fights with your classmates." Murasaki said as Kaiser just gave another lazy shrug of his shoulders and looked back at the window, not caring about anything Murasaki had to say as her vein popped out of her head in frustration in dealing with Kaiser.
Murasaki was thinking as to how Sakura Igawa, the carefree, irresponsible, air headed, and incompetent sister of Asagi-sama was a much more better teacher than her! Sakura was one of the few teachers who could actually reach out to Kaiser and actually get him to listen. Murasaki refused to believe she was the more inferior teacher, as her pride would not accept it as it push her to get on Kaiser's case more often than she would ever care to admit in an effort to be the one to reform Gosha Academy's 'Mad Dog'.
Murasaki gave a heavy sigh and just started speaking once more, trying to break through Kaiser's apathy.
"So, Mr. Wrath, what do you plan to do next this weekend? Since we know you were absent from school for a couple weeks due to your mission, because of it, you are behind on some of your subjects, so I want you to join me at my house so that we can discuss how to move past this and talk about how to improve your standing with your fellow classmates and with the Taimanin."
Kaiser met eyes with Murasaki before replying, "You don't really need to keep trying to look after me. Murasaki-Sensei... It's very noble of you to treat me like one of your own pupils, but I Know that I am just an Outsider with not ties to the Taimanin. I... I know I don't belong here."
"Mr. Wrath... even though you are an outsider here, you have become important to all of us... Please let me invite you once more because if we don't do something now, your attitude will only worsen in the future... Plus, I know you would never tell your family or friends about what your thoughts or feelings are... but please... stop trying to bottle up everything inside; I know that we might not always be able to get along or talk, but it's my job as a teacher to help guide you and mentor you. Please let me help you." Murasaki said.
Kaiser had a rare look in his eyes that one could assume that he was thinking about her request...He didn't reply right away, so she knew he wasn't dismissing her outright, which was good progress.
Murasaki watched Kaiser in silence, wondering what he was thinking when he spoke out, interrupting the silence in the room.
"I'll ask my mother and see if it's okay."
Murasaki had a surprised look on her face as the most ornery and difficult student had just agreed to her request, but unknown to her, Kaiser Wrath was a big pushover when people made honest and heartfelt requests of him. Only a few people knew of this, such as his mother and little sister, as well as Rin and Sakura, who would use this weakness to get him to listen or do things every now and then, as Kaiser at heart was a good boy who wanted to the people he cared about be happy.
"If you need anything else from me, feel free to ask Mr. Wrath. I want to try my best to make all of my students succeed," she said with a smile, which brought a response out of Kaiser.
"Yeah, yeah, don't need to go celebrating it...anyways, are we done here?"
"Ahh. Right, sorry, Mr. Wrath." She responded a bit shocked that the delinquent student had dropped his bad boy attitude.
Murasaki remembered how many times she had heard him complain that she was too strict or formal, so she didn't expect him to change so easily, but this could be the breakthrough she was looking for.
Kaiser also noticed the slight embarrassment in her tone and watched the other students around them who were starting to notice the change in their teacher before turning back towards her again.
"I mean, if its ok with you, I will head out now," he said.
"Alright, Mr. Wrath," she replied, her mood not quite matching her words as she turned to look at the clock, realizing her lecture had been going on longer than planned as Kaiser went to close the door after he left the teachers faculty room.
A/N: Dang that's rough for Kaiser but when your top of the food chain there will always be others who want to put ya down. Hopefully Kotaro will help him out and we'll see what happens next time.
