So wanting things to move along with this story so not going to Dilly Dally much longer

While Glass Joe and Bimbette were conversing in French Little Mac and watching alongside Dana, Little Mac was trying to be inconspicuous and he was observing the Mutant Doberman staring intently as she listened as her French had gotten a little better...Her floppy eats seemed to twitch a bit at certain words...Her hand was on her chin as her eyes seemed to have that intensity that fierce breeds of dogs like her have…

But soon enough the two finished their conversation…

"It was a pleasure meeting you Bimbette…" Joe said

And little more was said other than good byes as Little Mac and Bimbette returned to Forest where Bimbette felt more at ease…

Not wanting to leave just yet, Little Mac asked if they could just talk about old times as he wasn't about to press her yet about what she talked about with Glass Joe.

"I remember the day you told me you had to leave Nee York…" Little Mac sighed as he sat down on a tree stump.

FLASHBACK

Little Mac made his way to the basketball court for about the sixteenth time that month...He had gone every day since first meeting Bimbette and as per usual he brought his sack lunch with an apple in it for Bimbette.

When he sat on some nearby steps and waited for her to show herself...The strange girl came running toward him with tears in her eyes.

"Little Mac!" She cried "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry but I can't stay anymore! I have to leave this city!"
"What?!" Little Mac exclaimed "Why?!"
"I can't explain…" Bimbette said "...It's too complicated to explain...It's too dangerous to explain! I just wanted to say good bye before I have to leave forever!"
Little Mac felt the blood drain from his face and all the possibilities he had been fearing about Bimbette's situation came flooding back

"But…" He squeaked "...Where will you go?"
"Just...Away…" Bimbette said "...It doesn't really matter where I go as long as it's far from here."
Little Mac felt tears begin to brew, and this time he wasn't worried about crying in front of a girl.

"You're my friend…" He said "...You're the best friend I ever had...But if you have to leave…"
He pulled the apple out of his bag "...Take this for the road."
END FLASHBACK

But eventually the conversation turned to more pleasant things...As night fell the the young human man and the Mutant Doe lay in a grassy field simply looking up at the stars.

"It's so much easier to see the stars here then from the city." Little Mac sighed wistfully "I rarely paid much attention to the sky whatever time of day it was! I spent so many hours running after Doc Louis on my bike while training!"
"I suppose when you have a dream it's easier to concentrate…" Bimbette said "...I have sometimes wondered how so many humans can be bored when everything about their world is so terribly interesting!"
Little Mac chuckled awkwardly as that comment made him feel a little self-conscious about how his obsession with boxing left him unsure what to do with himself now "I guess that shows why most humans need to specialize in something otherwise nothing would ever get done!"
The two sighed and Little Mac sat up

"To tell the truth...The reason I really don't know what to do with myself after I retired from boxing is...I'm actually kind of shy…"
Bimbette sat up and stared at Little Mac…

"Yeah…" Little Mac said "...I know I don't look like it...But it's really hard for me to talk to people...That's why it hurt so much when you left."
Looking through the videos of the Punch Out Cutscenes specifically the Super Macho Man title defense intro where Little Mac gets attention from all the girls and Doc Louis has to hold them back realized that might be more deep than just 'Ha ha Little Mac stole all of Super Macho Man's groupies' as he clearly doesn't want the attention
