The surfer girl calmly walked into the studio room and sat down on the chair. "Hey, what's up?" she casually greeted after brushing off a slightly baggier version of her original sweatshirt.
"Hello to you, too," Josh replied. "Let's get started, shall we? We'll be going by elimination order, and we start with Ezekiel."
"He's...well...a complicated case. I obviously didn't take his comments very well after the first challenge, but he seemed to have mellowed out by the time I got booted. I did vote for him at Team Victory's first elimination ceremony, as he did mess up by losing the stick. But after getting over the stupid drama regarding Al and Blainley, I finally saw what had happened to the poor guy. No one, not even my worst enemy, deserved to be treated like that and go through what he did! After All Stars ended, I tried to host a rally for his treatment to return to normal and even visited him while he was recovering. Even now, I keep thinking that if maybe things went differently that day, he wouldn't have gone feral. We're actually good friends to this day."
"Next up is Eva, who returned with a hefty grudge against you."
"Yeah...I'll admit that I did make an off-hand comment about her needing anger management, but I was sleep-deprived when I said it and it's not like I was completely wrong. Though considering her grudge against me when she returned, I wish I hadn't said it. I'm just glad Izzy was able to reign her in, though I can't say I speak with Eva now."
"Next comes Noah the snuggler. Any thoughts on him?"
"Um, I honestly have no opinion on him. Except for his snarkiness, which can get on my nerves a bit. Oh, and his relationship with Emma, which was sweet. I could get why Geoff was going on and on about it after the spin-off show ended. Other than that, we hardly even see each other."
"What about Justin? You seemed to admire him in Action."
"Well, yeah, but EVERYONE was admiring him, even Geoff. And UNLIKE a certain someone, Justin didn't try to flirt with girls that had boyfriends. He's still a chill guy to hang around."
"Next comes Katie and Sadie. Your thoughts?"
"Well, I admit their squeals can get on everyone's nerves. But I did try to comfort Sadie after she was in tears following Katie's departure. We chatted a few times and I even asked how Sadie really felt about her 'bestie' Katie. Come the trust episode when we lost, I actually was shocked to see Sadie in the bottom two, as I voted Harold. After the show ended, we kept in contact."
"Let's move onto the next contestant." Bridgette chuckled at Tyler's picture. "I can give the guy points for always trying his best," she began. "I'll admit I can sympathize with his klutziness. I mean, I'm pretty much a seal: graceful in water, not so much on land. We talked a bit more during World Tour and he gave me some advice regarding Alejandro, but I ended up fumbling badly. I still don't get why he's close to that evil man."
"He did say they were friends," Josh recalled. "Anyway, onto Izzy. Now, she told us that she voted you off in Island over Duncan and Owen that night."
"Really? Her? Well, I always knew she was unpredictable. Well, we only talked a little on the seasons I was on. We can talk casually, but I can't say we're friends or anything."
"Next comes Cody. Any thoughts on him?"
"Um, he's okay, but I don't get all the fanfics giving him so much attention. He's just a normal guy. Then again, most of those fanfics are probably written by Sierra, so..."
"Nothing much, huh? Well, what about Beth? She supported you in the first World Tour Aftermath."
"And I am so grateful for that. She did give me the willpower to go through that awful first Aftermath. And I'm so glad she won Action over Duncan. We do chat, but not as often as I want to. My life's been pretty busy between family and surf contests."
"Yes, we heard just as much from Beth. Now, next comes Courtney, who you actually stayed friends with even after all this time."
"That is true, though I make sure she's not in the same room with people like Gwen. Don't wanna stir up that bad blood. She's a fairly good person, but ONLY outside of a competition. Her competitiveness is arguably her biggest flaws and the main reason she's never won a season of Total Drama. But outside of that, she can be very civil. And I know I got a lot of flack from the others when I asked her for legal help regarding Chris, but she didn't bluff when she said she was skilled with law."
"So the feeling is mutual. Now onto another Killer Bass member." Bridgette looked at Harold's photo. "He's still...Harold," she awkwardly began. "I never had any personal beef with him, but the guy's ego can be as big as a blue whale sometimes. But I can be grateful when he can actually back up his claims like in the talent show."
"Harold told us that he actually disliked you," Josh confessed, "Considering you never helped with Duncan's bullying of him."
"While there's no arguing that Duncan is definitely a bully, Harold usually brings his own problems right to his doorstep. I mean, I did hear he left his dirty undies lying around the cabin. But that doesn't excuse some of the lows Duncan went to. I do feel a bit bad that I didn't do anything at the time. Um, could we move on now?"
"Sure, surfer girl. Next comes Trent, who you sided with regarding his elimination and how things went with him and Gwen, even with Gwen being your friend."
"Trent was a really sweet guy back on the island, snagging extra muffins for Gwen and all. And I thought him chasing after true love even at the cost of a million bucks was so romantic. But how Gwen decided to dump him when she found out about it...is it any wonder most of us took pity on Trent? Really, only Cody and Geoff sided with her. Later after the second Action Aftermath, he told everybody to simply drop the Gwent talk and not take sides anymore. Fortunately, he's not the type to hold grudges like that for too long and we did let that fade into memory. I can't say we're super-close, though, even if I still chat with Gwen."
"Yes, we heard roughly the same from Trent. Now we move onto one of the members of the doomed Team Victory, Lindsay."
"Well...we honestly didn't speak much. In Island, she mainly stuck by Heather's side and getting tricked by her. I'm glad she was able to break away from it and she even got to shine in Action on her own. But although we were on the same team in World Tour, we weren't super-close. It still applies today."
"Eh, makes sense. Let's move onto the next person." Bridgette smiled at DJ's photo. "The guy is the walking definition of a gentleman," she began. "He always tried to do is best around everybody and just brought that good energy to the Killer Bass. It's how he was able to stay so long in Island. I was sad that he got embroiled with Chef's alliance but it was great to see him redeem himself and even stand up to Chef. That takes some serious courage right there. However, World Tour did a lot of damage on his psyche regarding the curse stuff. I wish I could've helped him out more. We're still tight friends to this day."
"We'll save your love interest for later and move onto Leshawna," Josh explained. "You two bonded a little in Island and were on the same team in World Tour."
"Yeah, but I can't say we're super-close or anything. I only got to know bits about her through Gwen. The Aftermaths were the only times I was able to get a proper talk with her. We're still on good terms, though."
"Interesting...now, next is Duncan. How do you feel about him?"
"The guy is nothing more than a bully. The only reason he stayed as long as he did in his seasons was that he was useful and had connections. He would've gone home sooner if it wasn't for that. I heard he has a soft side, but he hardly showed it. From Action onwards, he only got worse, and yet people still try to offer pity. I don't."
"So it's safe to say you still dislike him. What about the next person?" Bridgette looked at Heather's picture. "Heather is a very interesting case," she began. "She was definitely the meanest person back on the island. Reading Gwen's diary out loud to the entire world? That was a really low blow. It's why I was a bit...enthusiastic for shooting her with paintballs. When the teams became boys versus girls, I knew she'd try to rope me into an alliance and I tried to keep the peace between us. Clearly, it was in vain."
"What about from Action onwards?" Josh asked.
"Heather was still Heather, but even I felt bad with her having practically zero supporters in the last Aftermath show. It's why I asked some of the others to support her. Doesn't mean I liked her, though."
"Guess that makes sense. Next comes Gwen, who you claimed was a friend and yet you were against her with the Gwent debacle."
"We already went over that! That's old news. Gwen and I have been pretty good during Island and the only real argument we had was with the poem, which wasn't for either of us, anyway. And while she made some...questionable choices like dumping Trent in Action and dating Duncan in World Tour through All Stars, it doesn't change the fact that she's good deep down. But like I said before, I have to make sure Gwen and Courtney aren't in the same area of each other. The only time they were was at my wedding, and things nearly got out of control. DJ had to practically keep them from tearing each others' eyes out."
"Yikes. Glad I wasn't invited then. Now let's move onto Owen."
"The guy's just a ball of joy to be around. I honestly can't think of a bad thing about him."
"Then we'll move onto Sierra, then. Did you two interact any?"
"No, and from what I heard from Gwen, I'm glad I didn't. She's kind of a weirdo and can get close to stalker territory at times, and she definitely would've gotten cut had the Amazons lost more. I don't outright hate her, but I don't exactly like her, either."
"Oh, this next one ought to be quite the drama-filled one." Bridgette scowled as she saw Alejandro's picture before tearing it to shreds. "He's a manipulative and evil little bastard!" she scolded. "Oh, sorry about the coarse language, but that man ruined my chances on World Tour and almost permanently soured my relationship with Geoff. At first, the guy seemed like a gentleman. So polite and caring...and I fell for it hook, line and sinker."
"You seemed more than eager to get cozy with him even with Geoff being your boyfriend," Josh pointed out.
"Well...me and Geoff were going through a bit of a rough patch after Action ended. I was at a weak point and Alejandro seemed like a good support. Then that AWFUL Yukon episode happened. As I fell from the plane, I realized what I had just done. I felt like a complete fool for believing Al so easily. After the show ended, I made sure to distance myself from that...that...nasty little bug!"
"Speaking of Geoff, it's finally time to talk about him. The show seemed to focus on you two a whole lot. What drew you to him in the first place?"
"I just liked his laid-back vibes he gave off to everyone. Sure, he could be a little awkward like with the cooking episode and camping episode, but it seemed like it came from a place of genuine affection. We truly started to get closer during the trust episode. I appreciated that he was a bit honest with DJ regarding his bunny, and I know he fibbed that he ran off instead of getting eaten by a snake, but you saw how DJ looked. Geoff simply didn't want him feeling worse. By the time my elimination episode came, we started to get real tight with each other and I did believe he meant it when he said he hadn't voted for me. And when he arrived at Playa de Losers, the first thing he did was give me a kiss since he flaked out last time because of my skunk stench. Can't really fault him. I did reek."
"That was all sweet in Island, but how about Action after the game got to his head and he became Captain Hollywood?"
"In the first Aftermath, he was his usual self, but the second Aftermath is when things became worse. The anvil, the electric chair, his awful attitude towards his friends like DJ and Gwen...it was exactly like I said on the show: fame went to his head. It started to change him in a bad way. I even threatened to break up with him in the third Aftermath when he wouldn't stop being like that. And I know the stunt I pulled on him with the chair was harsh, but at that point, he needed a taste of his own medicine and it thankfully snapped him back to his senses."
"So what happened after Action? You mentioned a rough patch earlier."
"We were dealing with the fans and I'll admit I started letting jealousy get to my head when he started glancing at the females eyeing him. But we did patch things up a bit...then World Tour came. I don't get why fans praise the season because I remember it as a living hell for me and a lot of others, too. After I was eliminated and came to the Aftermath studio, I felt so ashamed of what I had done. I didn't blame Geoff for acting like he did. If our positions were swapped, I might've felt the same way he did. I tried to explain my side of things, but that blonde hag Blainley kept making things worse and even forcing us to fight each other! Geoff and I were able to patch things up again and we even talked things over once the cameras weren't rolling. Things were much smoother for us two in the second Aftermath, but that witch spoiled things yet again once the third Aftermath rolled around. But luckily, I was able to return in the final Aftermath and meet up with Geoff again, even if it took a bit of time with surfing back and Bruno being a bit overprotective. I heard that he's doing well back in Siberia."
"So, one more question regarding you and Geoff. He mentioned you were busy in Australia when the spin-off was airing and that's why he partnered with Brody instead. Yet we never saw you in the Australia episode." Bridgette paused for a moment. "It's a bit of a complicated case," she explained. "You see, at that time, I was actually pregnant with my first child. It's the main reason why Geoff decided to go back onto reality television in order to win the money to support me and him. But he and I agreed to tell the guys there that I was busy surfing in Australia and that's the reason why I wasn't with him. And it wasn't a complete lie. We decided to hang out in Australia for a while. The reason why the cameras didn't catch me was thanks to a legal thing Courtney put in where we couldn't be filmed without our expressed permission. Geoff did come to visit me after he was safe in the race just in time for the baby to be born. You should've seen the look of joy on his face with him becoming a father, even though we were arguably a bit on the young side at nineteen years of age. Fifteen years later and the house currently have five kids running around and we're still happily married."
"Aw, how sweet!" Josh gushed. "Though I'm not too shocked you two were the first to have kids considering how much you made out. Now, did you meet up with any of the other two casts?"
"Well, I did meet up with Dakota during my cameo and she's a sweet girl, and I recall her started to gush over Sam at that time. I've also met up with Dawn during a marine wildlife charity event, and I met Zoey once or twice when Gwen came by for a visit. From the third cast, I met Jasmine, Shawn and Sammy during my stay in Australia and they are as kind as they were in their season, and I heard a few positive things about Leonard from Geoff."
"Okay, last question. What do you think of the new cast of Total Drama?"
"My favorite has to be Zee. He just seems like a cool guy to just hang around. I also feel a little bad for what Emma had to go through. Other than that, I don't have a strong opinion about anyone there."
"Thank you for your time, Bridgette. And here's to your good fortune with your family."
"Thank you, Josh." Bridgette then left the studio.
The surfer girl is done! So, most of her interactions were fairly positive and she's still friends with a few people such as DJ and Gwen. However, she also has a few bad spots, with the worst being Alejandro. She's also happily married with Geoff and even has a big family. Plus, I think her explanation for why she didn't appear in Ridonculous Race is pretty credible.
The next interview will have a blonde All Star with a tendency to forget names and likes being called "Her Hotness". Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
