The goth girl entered the studio, though she had a slight change of appearance. Her hair was still dyed but was now slightly longer and she now wore a navy-blue shirt with stars on it, a simple black skirt that reached her knees and shorter black boots. "Might as well get this over with," she sighed as she sat down in front of Josh.
"Definitely a change of look for you," Josh commented. "I believe I heard you finally taking up your art studies."
"Yeah, I did. With my portion of the money I won from the lawsuit against Chris, I used it to get an art major in college and now I host an art gallery for others to take an interest in. I'm known for my painting of famous constellations."
"Good for you. Now, let's start the interview, shall we? First up is Ezekiel, who you only talked to once."
"Yeah, mainly because he was your typical backwards-thinking country boy. But I decided to throw him a bone in World Tour by informing him of what happened last time, which clearly was for naught. Last I saw him, he was all psycho-crazy from his time on the plane and I shot him with the meatball bazooka."
"I see. What about Eva? Any thoughts on her?"
"She was completely aggressive to the point where even I considered her worse than Heather and voted her off. Nothing more to say."
"So, next is Noah."
"We never really talked. He was one of those snarky know-it-alls. I'm not a fan of those kind of people who think that just because they're smarter that they're better than everyone else."
"So, we heard you're not the biggest fan of this next guy." Gwen frowned at Justin's picture. "Oh, I definitely have a few choice words for him," she grumbled. "He's basically a lazier version of Alejandro before he arrived. Justin not only spied on me and Trent's private conversation, but he then blurted everything to his team and basically guilt-trip me into throwing the next challenge! And yet people say he's one of the 'highlights' of Action. Even after he explained things, I simply kept my mouth shut around him. Then after All Stars when I got this call to come to this diner, it turned out that it was Justin and sealed me inside! Don't really care for him anymore and I definitely don't fall for whatever charm he tries to throw my way."
"Definitely very interesting. Now, I don't recall you talking with Katie or Sadie except in your blog."
"I only asked those two for help because Leshawna was busy, and boy, do I regret that. They're your typical squealers that gush at every cute guy and that's too annoying for me to handle. Luckily I only talked with them once."
"So, Tyler said you two talked in World Tour. Is that true?"
"Well, he did most of the talking, honestly. He said I could be a shoulder to lean on and all that, but I didn't need his help. I didn't. And I don't really speak with him anymore."
"Okay. What about Izzy?"
"I believe she is certifiably insane, and it made me pity Owen when the duo got together. She was bad for his health. I try to avoid her nowadays."
"So, this next Drama Brother had some history with you." Gwen smiled at Cody's picture. "The guy's a good kid," she admitted. "At first, I thought he was like an annoying little brother like my little brother Evan is. But over time, we started being friendlier and I even helped him win that bet with Owen. Still, the flirting could be a bit much at times, and I was rightfully pissed when I found out about the bikini photo. But we soon patched things up and stayed friends. I even told him that since I remembered how getting romantically involved with Duncan soured things between us for a while."
"So next comes Beth," Josh continued. "You were on the same team as her in Island. Any interactions?"
"Well, she isn't as good as people make her out to be. While we didn't really speak in Island, she was just as on-board with Justin's little guilt-trip plan. However, I do know enough that she was roped into it just like Heather did to her in season 1. I can be civil with her in public, but I don't really talk to her much."
"Makes sense. Now, this next one should be quite juicy. Your thoughts on...Courtney?"
"Ugh. If I have to. She started as this goody-goody rule follower who sometimes got on my nerves. But I still thought she was generally a good person. We never spoke in Action aside from the Aftermath, and I tried to explain to her that me and Duncan were just friends. She managed to drop her grudge...for a little while. After the season, I heard how Courtney and Duncan split, which wasn't too shocking with how controlling she was. Then came World Tour when we were on the same team. And we...actually got along for the most part. Granted, the only other tolerable person there was Cody, so it wasn't something to celebrate. And I was kinda shocked we had a few things in common by the time we got to London."
"But after London and after the infamous kiss with you and Duncan?"
"I'll admit I felt kinda bad for letting the kiss happen and how it really screwed things up for my game that season. I thought he was free and... Anyway, Courtney definitely hated my guts after that and I felt this knot of guilt even after Duncan tried to reassure me it was fine. I thought I needed to make things right with her, and for the most of All Stars, I really tried."
"A lot of critics say that was a bad idea from the start."
"Well, I was desperate. I nearly lost Leshawna and Bridgette during Action. I didn't want the same thing happening again. I dragged myself through the mud to earn Courtney's forgiveness and I thought she meant it. But come the Final Five, I saw her true colors at last. I was just so angry that I just wanted her away from me for the rest of my life! I even offered her a way to show a sigh=n of trust by voting herself. Surprise, surprise; she decided on Scott to vote for."
"I've heard from Bridgette things got nasty at her wedding when you saw Courtney again."
"It did, and admittedly, I started the fight. I just couldn't contain my anger anymore. DJ and Bridgette did split us apart after that, and I stayed away from Courtney after that incident."
"Oh-ho-ho, nice! Let's quickly cover Harold now."
"We only spoke a few times in Island, and I thought he was another know-it-all, but I will give him props for helping me with my payback against Heather. And I was shocked he was the one sending Leshawna love letters. Still, it didn't make me jump for joy to pick him for my team in Action. I do feel a little bad for hitting him in the head with a shovel, but he brushed that off after the season ended. We didn't really talk in World Tour and we're not close now."
"Okay, we'll save your love interests for later and get to one of your friends from Island." Gwen smiled at Bridgette's picture. "She's definitely a good friend," she began. "We were very good during Island and only squabbled about the haiku letter. But Action gave us a rough patch after she sided against me and tried to put all the blame for my break-up with Trent onto me. We were able to patch things up after that, fortunately, but it's a shame we didn't get a chance to talk in World Tour. And apart from the wedding disaster with that backstabbing C.I.T., we didn't have any more trouble and we're still good friends."
"So, next comes Lindsay," Josh continued. "She was Heather's minion for most of the first season. How do you feel about her?"
"She was your typical dumb blonde who couldn't tell that she was getting manipulated by the meanest girl in camp. Even Beth saw through Heather sooner than Lindsay did. And it was kind of bad when Heather just dumped her in the bike race. Still, she was mainly annoying in my opinion. I heard she got a lot of praise in Action and that she was 'robbed', but she really wasn't. World Tour and All Stars didn't improve my opinion of her."
"Definitely one of the more critical people I've interviewed. Now, do you have any beef with DJ?"
"No. Not at all. In fact, he's one of the sweetest guys from my cast. He's also a very understanding guy and he didn't hold grudges like other people do. Plus, he didn't see me as the 'girl with crushes' person, which I did appreciate. When he asked me to do a painting for his girlfriend, I was more than happy to. I'm glad his cafe is doing well. His cobbler is to die for."
"So, next comes Geoff, who you've ignored mainly until the Triathlon episode where you two became buds."
"It's strange how that turned out, huh? He kept trying to yap at me before then, but I mainly ignored him. He seemed like the party-obsessed guy everyone gushed over and I'm not a particular fan of those people. But during the three-arm challenge, I did see that he was really a sweet guy after all. We even made s'mores after the challenge to celebrate the new friendships and I was shocked that he got the boot that night. We had a little falling out afterwards, especially regarding his new Chris-like attitude in the Action Aftermaths. But we did patch things up once he snapped back to his senses. We're still pretty decent friends."
"Let's move onto one of your more well-known friendships. Your thoughts on Leshawna?"
"She was definitely one of the saner people on my team and I drifted to her pretty quickly. She was also one of the people that made sure to call out Heather's actions whenever possible. We stayed close all throughout Island. But we did have some friction during Action after she found out about me and the Grips. We, fortunately, made amends after we were booted. In World Tour, she talked to me about Duncan and how to 'be careful' around him, but I knew Duncan was good deep down. However...things kinda spiraled after London and I was booted soon in Australia. And she did lecture me regarding Courtney, which I really should've listened to. Still, Leshawna and I were able to recover and we're still good friends."
"Now from friends to your most famous rivalry." Gwen frowned at Heather's picture. "She was definitely the alpha bitch when she first stepped onto the island," she bitterly began. "Always complaining about the smallest things. It definitely got personal after she read my diary on international TV. Why? Because I simply asked why she should choose the acts for the talent show! Even I'm not that petty. She kept making everyone miserable, especially me. And I was definitely hurt when she kissed Trent on the dock. How she got as far as she did is still a mystery, but I made sure she would be stopped in the semi-final. Teaming up with Owen and seeing her get all the dates was definitely satisfying to watch, and when she lost after getting her head shaved, I celebrated and cheered as much as I could."
"So what happened after Island?" Josh asked. "Going into Action, you two were still fierce rivals."
"That's true. No matter what people say, she was still her nasty self. But even after I voted myself, I was shocked that my team kept her over me. World Tour wasn't any different and I tried to get her out soon, and it would've worked if the Amazon episode wasn't a non-elimination. But the Amazons kept winning and winning until we lucked out in Australia. By then, Heather wasn't the target. It was either me or Courtney. And the only reason we supported Heather in the finale was that Alejandro got Cody out. In All Stars, I found her niceness to me to be very suspicious and I assumed she was just trying to get an alliance out of me and Duncan, and I was right. I was kinda shocked she got out because of the idol and because of Alejandro, but I guess she got what she deserved. I don't talk to her anymore."
"Wow. But I also heard your blog war with her before World Tour got heated real fast. What caused it?"
"It...she said that I must've gotten my luck with romance from my dad. My parents had a divorce before the show, and Heather's words really struck a nerve there."
"Yeah, I can imagine. But let's move onto a more positive interactions. Any thoughts on fellow finalist Owen?"
"Well, he's pretty nice. Sure, his habits can gross nearly anyone out, but he's still sweet and I thought he couldn't think badly of anyone. I even snagged him some victory donuts after he won just as I promised in the semi-final. Action had some tense stuff like with the challenge throwing from Trent and Owen indirectly giving him that idea, but he still meant well in the end. I did pity how his family got into debt and being forced to be a mole for Chris. And when he got dumped by Izzy in Jamaica, I could tell he felt awful. And unlike most people, he didn't shame me for the kiss between me and Duncan. I'd say we're still good with each other nowadays."
"So, next comes Sierra. What do you think of her?"
"She was a complete weirdo and obsessed with Cody. I hoped to vote her out after Heather left, but that never happened. She started getting even worse after the Amazon episode, first by guilt-tripping Cody for attention, then being hostile to me after Greece and the kiss was exposed. After I was booted and All Stars started, Sierra said she supported me and Duncan, but I didn't really buy it. She started getting worse and worse as the season went on and when the Villains got to choose who to vote for, I didn't really hesitate on my choice to boot her, with Cameron siding with me and getting Courtney's vote. I don't bother with her now."
"Yikes. Next comes Alejandro. Any thoughts on him?"
"I personally never get why everyone fawned over his looks. Well, he does have good eyes, but that's it. He was also fairly skilled and could be a threat at the merge, but I never got that far. It was only after I got eliminated that I saw his true colors and how he played a role in me losing World Tour. After that and during All Stars, I made sure to keep my guard up around him so I wouldn't get tricked again. It's why I voted him over Heather in the egg challenge. Honestly, he would've been voted off had Cameron not been injured and for a while, I believed Alejandro was the reason he fell. I don't bother with him anymore."
"Okay. Now onto the first of your crushes." Gwen smiled at Trent's picture. "I still remember when I first saw him," she sighed. "He seemed like a nice guy to hang around. Our first good chat was during the Awake-a-Thon and he was sweeter than I thought. We slowly grew closer...that is, until the phobia challenge after he ditched me."
"You were kind of wishy-washy regarding him after that," Josh noted. "First wanting to ride with him to Boney Island, then not liking him in the trust challenge, then being touched when you thought he sent you a poem, then hating him in the merge challenge."
"Yes, that's true. But Trent was also my first real crush, so I just...wasn't sure of anything. My doubts were squashed in the merge episode, and in the next episode, we actually shared our first kiss. When I saw the kiss between him and Heather, I was heartbroken, and when the truth finally came out, I wanted to punch myself. During and after the finale, we managed to make amends. But once the next season started..." Gwen let out a breath. "Trent let his jealousy over Duncan get to his head no matter how many times I told him we were just friends," she explained. "That thing with the number nine didn't help matters, either. And after I saw him throwing challenges for me, I pulled him aside and I...ended things between us. I thought it was for his own good. I hated having to throw him under the bus after his teammates cornered me about it. But during the Aftermaths, Trent and I got back to good terms, and he even set aside his jealousy of me and Duncan in the third season."
"Now Trent informed me that you two reunited after All Stars," Josh said.
"We saw each other again when I was presenting some of my artwork to the gallery. Then Justin tricked me into going into this diner and sealed me and Trent inside. And after some time, I...I admitted that I still cared for Trent and he felt the same. We agreed to take things slow this time around, and things are great between us."
"But I heard things weren't as easy with Duncan around. What's your thoughts on him?"
"Back on the island, we were pretty chill with each other and we sometimes pulled pranks on the more annoying people at camp. In Action, we were still tight, though it caused Trent's jealousy to flare after I picked Duncan first for our teams. We still worked well together and he was one of the few who didn't vote me off in the prison challenge. In World Tour, I was a bit sad that he decided to quit and I was hoping I could find him again and Newfoundland, I was hoping he'd show, but it was just a rock statue and...I think I realized then that I really started to care for him and this spark I felt with Trent before ignited again. Then came London and I saw him performing and brought him back to Chris, then came that kiss in the confessional, and I felt fireworks in my heart."
"Even though he was still with Courtney?"
"I thought he had broken it off, but when I found out it wasn't the case, the fireworks feeling turned into a lump of clay. Still, I couldn't keep my mind off him and dreamed of that moment again, and it came in Area 51. We agreed to let things be after that. A shame it didn't last. Come All Stars, that lump of clay feeling came crawling back again. Then I learned he still had feelings for Courtney in the fifth episode, and I honestly thought I was just a pawn of his! I dumped him right before the elimination that night, and I didn't care that he got booted to prison...at first. It was only after some time and Zoey bringing me to see Duncan again did I regret how things went downhill for us. We had such a great bond that just snapped like a twig. I realized I missed that bond after seeing him behind a glass pane over a stupid mistake. Zoey gave us time to talk, and after Duncan was released, we became friends again, and I don't wanna lose that bond ever again."
"Whoa. Talk about detail! Now let's move onto the Revenge cast you've spent time with in All Stars. First up is Sam, who you were trapped in a box with in season four."
"And it definitely wasn't a pleasant time. But other than being stuck in a cramped box with his glasses, I don't really have an opinion of him. But I know better than to mess with him because that girlfriend of his is not a person you wanna tangle with."
"Okay. Next up is Mike. Any thoughts on him?"
"I kinda felt bad for him. I'm no psychology expert, but I heard his condition is usually brought up by trauma early in life, so I can't imagine what he went through before the show. But I can see why Zoey connected with him. He was such a sweet guy. So when he started acting all bad in the merge, I figured something was up. I just didn't know what. He thankfully returned to his regular self towards the end of All Stars. We still meet up for coffee, though I heard he's still going through therapy."
"Oh, I'll have to remember that. Let's move onto the next person." Gwen frowned at Jo's picture. "She wasn't great to talk with," she grumbled. "She's basically Heather if she were a jock. Jo just kept trying to boss us all around and give us mean nicknames like Gothball or Count Gwenula. It's amazing she wasn't booted out of her season sooner. I don't get why Duncan is friendly with her because I'm not."
"Yes, Duncan told me about his odd friendship with her," Josh noted. "But let's move onto Scott, who made it to the Final Four with you."
"I definitely heard of him before All Stars, and he was a massive jerk! Someone that blackmails a guy over a disorder they can't control is not a person you want to be around. It sucked that I was on the same team as him and I honestly hoped he would leave sooner than later. But bigger threats and problems like Jo, Heather and Alejandro were still around and he didn't attract anything that would get him booted even during the merge. People say he 'got nicer' in the season, but I don't think so."
"Yikes. Now, you seemed to be friendly with Zoey in the latter half of All Stars."
"We were. Even before the season, I heard that Zoey was one of my biggest fans and I honestly was excited to meet her. We didn't get a chance to talk at first since we were on different teams and living in different areas, but we finally got the chance to during the merge. She was genuinely sweet to be around, kind of like how me and Bridgette were back on the first season. We quickly got close, though things were a tad strained in the Final Five thanks to Courtney and Mal, but Zoey still defended me and even rooted for me to win if she couldn't. I had to remind her of Mal during the finale since she still clung to Mike, but I couldn't really fault her for it. We're still great friends and we usually meet up for bubble tea and sweets at DJ's cafe."
"Aw... I wonder if you share the same thoughts about Lightning."
"No, I don't. I still can't believe the guy with the ego the size of Canada got into the finale of season four. All he did was talk, talk, talk about his muscles. I don't speak with him."
"Okay. Last up is Cameron, who you were decent friends with, as well."
"Yeah, since I didn't taunt or mock him like the other Villains, and after he joined, I made sure to keep him and Sierra as separate as I could from each other after he told me about his struggles with her. Things were great until the mine episode when he started blanking me for no reason. I only found out after I got booted that Mal lied to him about me and that he left Cameron fall, not Alejandro. We worked pretty well together in the finale and I even gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek. We're still very good friends."
"So, have you met with the other Revenge contestants or the Pahkitew cast?"
"Well, the only other person from the fourth season I met was Dawn to help with my claustrophobia and the occasional tarot card reading. Never really met anyone from the sixth season, though I do pity Sky with what she went through."
"Okay, last question: what do you think of the new cast?"
"Um, not really keen on anybody in particular."
"And we're all done. Thank you for your time."
"Whatever," Gwen scoffed as she stood up. "Can I go now?"
"Yes," Josh sighed. "You can leave." Gwen walked out of the studio. "Let's see who we have next," Josh muttered. "Oh-ho-ho, the mascot himself!"
The OG goth girl is done! So, Gwen definitely was divisive with the people she met, from friends (such as Bridgette, Leshawna, Zoey and Cameron), neutrals (such as Sam and Lindsay) and enemies (such as Heather, Courtney and Jo).
Next comes the OG winner with an appetite as big as Canada and a huge phobia of flying. Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
