The fangirl nervously adjusted her ponytail before walking into the studio. "Hello, Josh," she greeted as she sat down. "To be honest, I'm a tad nervous. I know I've done interviews before, but there's something about this one that makes me nervous."
"Maybe you're thinking about what your peers said about you," Josh reasoned. "But let's focus on your thoughts on your peers. We'll start with Ezekiel."
"Oh, Ezekiel! Did you know that he knows eight different languages and even won a spelling bee?"
"Uh, no, I did not."
"Well, I was a bit excited to see a redemption story for him once I heard he would be on World Tour. It's a shame he went all feral and stuff, but I'm glad he's in recovery now."
"Okay. Next is Eva, who you never really interacted with on the show."
"No, but I have researched her as well as everybody else. Did you know she comes from a village in eastern Europe?"
"Um, no. Will you be spurting random facts about everyone during this interview?"
"I think everybody in TD in interesting. And I was very impressed with Eva's strength and her friendships with Noah and Izzy. Honestly, she should've been in World Tour. A totally missed opportunity."
"So, you've definitely met up with Noah. Any thoughts on him?"
"Yeah! For starters, did you know he has a golden Labrador named Newton? And I heard him being in World Tour skyrocketed his popularity. Personally, I thought his snarkiness was a neat aspect of him and I even have a collection of his most iconic quotes on my blog on the OG cast. Shame he was cut so soon, but the spin-off really showed him at his best!"
"Clearly you're a fan. Now, you didn't meet up with Justin, so what is your opinion of him?"
"Well, we never really talked. By the way, did you know he's Hawaiian? But I did rewatch Action a bit to gather research on him in case I competed with him on a future season, and despite being labeled an 'antagonist', he never really did anything bad. We're not really close, though."
"So, onto the next person. Well, people, really." Sierra looked at Katie and Sadie's picture. "No worries," Sierra giggled. "I still remember them. Did you Katie sews her and Sadie's outfits and Sadie got the two of them jobs working at an ice cream shop? The two have such good chemistry and I always suspected there was something more to them than just being Best Female Friends For Life, or BFFFLs for short. A shame they never got to compete again."
"Interesting," Josh commented. "Let's move onto Tyler now."
"Oh, another good one! Did you know his favorite food is Extreme Power Chunks? It might be what gives him his finger strength. When the show was airing, I was honestly betting on him being the underdog winner along with Cody. A shame he didn't merge at least. I still think he's one of the best guys from World Tour."
"An admirer. So, do you have a bit of trivia on Izzy?"
"Yeah. Did you know she likes to roleplay just like me? And she's such a blast to play with, too! I was one of the diehard Ozzy shippers and it was sad when they split up. We still get along very well."
"We'll save your crush for later, so next comes Beth, who didn't interact with you."
"Well, did you know Beth doesn't usually eat pork? It's because she considers the pigs on her farm close friends. I never got to talk with her, but I thought she was a sweet girl and I was so happy when I watched her stand up to Heather in season one and win season two with her own merits!"
"Okay, okay! So this next one should be interesting. Your thoughts on Courtney?"
"Boy, is she a complicated case. By the way, did you know that Courtney's favorite food is sushi? Anyway, I tried not to deal with her at first since I knew of her Action reputation and how bad she could get. But as World Tour went on, I sided with her regarding the whole love triangle drama. Not because of pity, mind you, but because of what Gwen did was wrong. After Gwen was booted, I'd figured she would leave next. I mean, no one really liked her. And I guess it came true once she was no longer immune in the merge. All Stars really showed her ugly side, especially how she took advantage of people. Personally, the hype for the Gwourtney ship is overrated. Not exactly a friend of mine."
"Not too much of a shock. Now, you never really got a chance to talk with Harold due to his early departure."
"Yeah, true. Oh, did you know that part of his name Doris comes from his many-great grandmother that was famous for her research into many Asian cultures? I guess where his knowledge of that subject comes from. Anyway, I gotta have some respect for 'Mad Skillz' Harold. From the way he got Courtney out in Island to one-upping Duncan in Action, I can see why fans love him!"
"Okay, so we'll move onto the next guy." Sierra looked at Trent's picture. "Meh, I never get the appeal for the guy," she shrugged. "Personally, I found him kinda...bland. But he was a fairly decent friend of Cody, so he can't be too bad. Also, did you know his favorite band is Maroon 5?"
"Kind of a shocker," Josh remarked. "So, Bridgette was another earlier boot in World Tour."
"And the stuff surrounding it was bad, last I heard. Oh, did you know that she likes vegan food such as seaweed brownies and strawberry rice milkshakes? Anyway, I thought Bridgette was pretty nice, though I do feel she's mostly defined by her relationship with Geoff. Still, she's pretty kind and considerate of others."
"Okay. So, you had a little more time to interact with Lindsay since she competed with you on All Stars."
"Technically, we did. Did you know Lindsay was held back in eighth grade for two years? But anyways, I did speak a little with her in World Tour. All Stars didn't have much, but she tried convincing the Heroes to vote her off, which I kinda disagreed with. Me and I think Sam were the only ones to vote Courtney. I think she's pretty neat, though."
"Next comes DJ, the longest-lasting member of Team Victory."
"And did you know he was never eliminated normally? Even after three seasons. And I pity that he has some of the worst luck from the original cast, maybe even more than Ezekiel or Trent. Getting unfairly cut in Island, then roped into an alliance with Chef, then that animal curse...how can you not feel bad for him? I'm glad he's doing okay nowadays with his cafe."
"So, the last person here that wasn't on World Tour is Geoff. Any thoughts on him?"
"And did you know he used White Stallion glue to keep his signature hat on his head? Anyway, while I didn't get to properly compete with him, I thought he was cool when I watched Island and Action and Ridonculous Race. It was kinda sad that fame got to his head in Action, but I was super happy when he bounced back! And him winning Ridonculous Race with Brody was great to see!"
"You're a fan, I see. Let's see if you're a fan with this next person." Sierra looked at Leshawna's picture. "Oh, the iconic Leshawna!" she squealed. "Did you know she auditioned for Ridonculous Race alongside Tyler, but were cut in favor of Father and Son Dwayne and Junior? I admired her way back in seasons one and two, and she's just as cool in real life! I kinda like how despite being labeled a 'hero', she's not afraid to strategize and make plays, something that usually only villains attempt to do. While I sadly didn't get to talk much in season three, I still like her."
"Nice," Josh commented. "And by the way, I did know that fact since Leshawna informed me of it in her interview. So, I bet you have a fun fact about Duncan, right?"
"I do! Did you know Duncan is ambidextrous with him favoring the left hand? But even so, I can't say I'm his biggest fan. He may have had his cool moments in Island, but he became a big bully in Action and World Tour. It's amazing he made merge in every season he was in because of it. Plus, he kept tormenting Cody and his friends. All Stars was probably where he was the most decent and I think Zoey had to do with it, but I still don't like him."
"Okay, then. So, you and Heather had an interesting dynamic."
"We did. Oh, did you know that Heather had a record ten hairstyles throughout the show? But anyway, when she first approached me, I figured she would mention an alliance sooner or later. But during the season, she was actually quite decent towards me, unlike Gwen or Courtney. Not as too-faced as them. And unlike Alejandro, Heather never really crossed any lines with her schemes. It was really sweet when she lend a hand after the plane exploded. We unfortunately didn't talk much in All Stars, but I was sad she got idoled out by her crush. We're still actually pretty close nowadays and she often lets me and Cody look after her little ones. They're so sweet!"
"Quite an odd friendship indeed. However, you weren't real friendly with the next person." Sierra frowned at Gwen's picture. "Oh, Gwen," she groaned. "Did you know she has two lizards named Angus and Vampyra? Who names anything Angus, though? I never personally liked her even before World Tour. How she handled Trent...big yikes. And in World Tour, she was definitely in the wrong for kissing Duncan behind everyone's backs. Still, there are worse people than her and I even started writing some neat Gwuncan stories while they were together. Don't get what Cody ever saw in her, though."
"Quite the info," Josh chuckled. "Now how did it feel competing with OG winner Owen?"
"So great! Oh, did you know that his favorite cheese is Colby Jack? And being near the icon of the series was such an experience! And the cameos were great, too. I can see why people like him so much because he's so positive. Even during challenges, he's so dedicated. Fave has to be in season one's Paintball Deer Hunt. And him being in the spin-off was so neat, too! I can definitely see his appeal and why he's a popular person to ship with. I even wrote a Nowen AU story for his birthday."
"Okay, that last one was kinda unexpected, but I guess I see why people ship the two friends. So, Alejandro was the other newcomer. How did you feel about him?"
"I honestly never got why all the ladies swooned over him. He wasn't THAT good-looking nor did his personality stand out. Oh, did you know that Alejandro likes spicy food and doesn't watch movies? But the fact that he slipped through the competition without anyone expecting anything until the Final FOUR...that is kinda impressive. Some of his moves were pretty heinous, especially him dunking Cody into shark-infested waters! But we did kinda bury the hatchet once All Stars hit. He and Heather often invites me and Cody to watch the little ones they've got. Oh, they're so cute!"
"Speaking of cute, we'll move onto the last original cast member." Sierra smiled at Cody's picture. "I still remember when I saw him," she sighed. "My mom and I were watching Chris's latest show when I saw Cody waltz up onto the dock. And seeing him on the island was just so cute, like when he wet his pants and his suave moves around the ladies. After the season ended, my all-time dream was to meet Cody in person. I sent audition after audition to the show, but Chris wasn't asking for newcomers yet. I FINALLY got the chance when I got wrapped into World Tour. It felt just like all the Cody fanfics I wrote and dreamed about were coming true!"
"But many fans of the show point out what you actually did to Cody," Josh pointed out. "Like how you fake cried to get Cody's attention even though he was clearly in the right to vote you off."
"I didn't think I did anything wrong back then, and I was feeling hurt about getting a vote from my idol."
"And the love tea you gave him in China, which practically drugged him?" Sierra got a sad look in her eyes. "I didn't realize I drugged him," she sniffled. "I thought after Gwen was booted, he'd start admiring me instead, but he didn't. I thought that tea would test if he truly liked me. Instead, I made him unconscious! I was horrible! It...it made me strive to be better so Cody wouldn't hate me, first with Cody Jr., then with that photo Alejandro used to even make Cody a birthday cake with heavy chocolate icing. After I was disqualified and my legs were paralyzed from the blast, I was touched when Cody helped me with my wheelchair and I did my best to motivate him to keep going. When he said he was my friend, my best friend, I felt my heart flutter like never before. It was like my dream came true after all."
"But what about All Stars?" Josh asked. "You projected Cody onto everyone, with Cameron suffering the most from it."
"Yeah, I was a mess, wasn't I? That ended up being the straw that broke the camel's back. After All Stars ended, Cody insisted I get some therapy to help with what had happened. It really helped, too. Helped wean me off my dependency on the internet and kept my Cody obsession down. I still go to therapy once a week just to be on the safe side with Cody tagging along sometimes. I've accepted us being just friends, though I love reading the Coderra fanfics and blogs. Old habits die hard, I guess."
"So now we move onto the All Stars contestants you've completed with from the Revenge cast. We'll start with Sam."
"OMG, Sam! Did you know he's a fan of salty snacks like pretzels? And I was also excited to meet a fellow Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Gamer, or MMORPG for short. At the start, I banked on him going far due to his underdog status, but him getting hurt over and over was just so sad to see. And him having to resort to sneaking the pancakes in to survive Boney Island and losing because of it... It was just a bummer. After we were both cut, we played some games together and it was really fun. We still have a video game session at least once a month and they're REALLY fun!"
"Nice. Mike is next. Have any thoughts on him?"
"Oh, did you know that despite his actor claims being a fib, he actually does have a love of theater? And I thought Mike himself was nice. Same with his alternate personalities. I loved seeing Svetlana perform during the relay race and freeing everyone from Spider Izzy. I can't say we're super-close, though."
"Okay. Let's move onto the next person." Sierra frowned at Jo's picture. "Remember when I said there are worse people than Gwen?" she asked. "Well, Jo is one of those worse people. Oh, did you know she has a little sister named Mary? Not the smart one from the spin-off show, though. Anyway, when I watched season four, I couldn't believe how she operated. She's lucky her team won so much or she would've been gone much sooner. She was like Eva but much less contained with her dislike of people, and that's saying something. I'm glad I wasn't on her team AND that she got cut early in All Stars. I don't waste time talking with her."
"Next comes the main villain of Revenge, Scott. Any thoughts on him?"
"Ooh, another good one. Did you know that while he likes eating dirt, he won't eat earthworms in the dirt? It's true. And aside from Heather, he's one of my favorite TD villains. Sure, some people give him flack for getting rid of fan favorites like B and Dawn and Mike, but even you must admit his strategy is pretty damn brilliant. Him taking out B was arguably his best play. It was a shame I never got a chance to talk to him in All Stars."
"Ooh, a Scott fan! Hmm, perhaps you're a fan of Zoey, too?"
"Well, a part of me feels bad for her since I also grew up without any friends. But she is kinda...boring. Plus, she was SO gullible in both of her seasons. I mean, falling for Scott's lies about his team booting Dawn behind his back when he caused it? And Mal watering a plant and it fell against the wall? Even someone like Lindsay could see through that. She's nice and all, but that's where the compliments end for me. Oh, and did you know she has a pet hamster?"
"Alright. Now you didn't spend any time with Lightning, did you?"
"No. Oh, did you know his full name is Rudolph Lightning Jackson? It's true. But honestly, I'm not one of those Lightning stans like most of the fandom is. He was just so full of himself and too overly competitive. At least I understand the second part since his dad did pressure him to win no matter what to earn his approval. Still, I don't really talk with him much."
"Okay. Now onto the last Revenge member you competed with." Sierra smiled at Cameron's picture. "Oh, Camby!" she squealed. "Did you know his favorite colors are red and purple? I love purple, too! He has to be my fave from the Revenge cast and we started getting along well...at first. The Cody stuff started about at episode three of All Stars and I do get why he wanted to go to Boney Island for a little me time. Things only got worse after my phone broke and I even mistook him for Cody! At episode five's elimination, I was devastated when he volunteered to quit but was a teensy bit relieved when he would stay but as a Villainous Vulture. I kinda got more clingy during my last two episodes and while I was sad that Cameron got the Villains to cut me, I could understand why he did it. I was a bit awful to him. After I got some therapy done, I tried contacting him again and apologized for what I did, and I was relieved when he forgave me! We're still pretty good friends now."
"That one was...interesting," Josh commented. "So, as a TD fan, you must've met the rest of Revenge and the Pahkitew cast, right?"
"Well, I actually did speak with the rest of the Revenge cast. Staci is a bit of a chatterbox, but her stories are kinda interesting. I felt bad for what Dakota went through but also happy her relationship with Sam is still standing. I couldn't get a word out of B, but he is definitely a smart guy. Fan favorites Brick and Dawn were super sweet. And Anne-Maria was kinda annoying but knows her way with fashion. I unfortunately didn't get a chance with Pahkitew since I was busy with therapy and most of the cast avoided me, but me and Topher have a friendly rivalry on our blogs."
"Okay. Final question: what do you think of the new cast?"
"OMG, they're pretty great. Well, most of them. Zee, Axel and Nichelle were cool. Same with the hockey guys Wayne and Raj. Fan favorites like Damien and MK were neat. Millie and Caleb and Emma get way too much flack. Priya was good in the first season but AWFUL in the second. Julia's just another Courtney rip-off and Chase is kinda meh. Ripper's okay and Lauren AKA Scary Girl is pretty creepy."
"Quite the info there! Thank you for your time and hopefully the progress you've made keeps going forward."
"Thank you, Josh. Same to you!" Sierra skipped out of the studio room. "Now ending the OGs on a high note," Josh noted as he looked at his clipboard. "Boy, will he have a lot to tell."
The uber-fan is done! So, Sierra is another divisive character, but I hope I did hear well. She still has some friends such as Heather, Cody, Cameron and even Sam and Topher, but also some personal goes like with Courtney, Gwen and Jo.
Next comes the last of the OG cast, the viper-tongued Spaniard with a crush on the OG villainess. Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day.
