The former mutant stepped into the studio, though her appearance changed drastically. She now wore a hot-pink sleeveless top and black leggings, her hair still had green streaks and was down her back, and she still had an orange tail. "Hello, Josh!" she greeted. "So cool to meet in person. You were great in Celebrity Manhunt."
"Thank you," Josh replied. "And you...you're not a mutant anymore."
"Yeah, I got treatment alongside Zeke to help reverse the effects of the mutation that was all CHRIS'S FAULT! I mean, how come he's not still in prison?! But anyway, the treatment didn't reverse everything, hence the tail and hair. Still, at least I'm not talking like a caveman anymore. That was seriously the most embarrassing part."
"So, let's start up this interview. First comes Staci."
"Ugh, she was nothing but talk, talk, talk, and it wasn't even good talk! No wonder she got booted first. Aside from that, there's nothing too remarkable to say about her."
"What about B, another person who you were in the bottom two with?"
"Um, he's fairly smart, but the not-speaking bit kind of bothered me. If I was still competing, I would for sure bought the whole 'cannot trust a non-speaking guy' lie Scott told. It wasn't anything personal when I voted for him. That's about it."
"Hmm, okay. Now the next contestant predicted your fate. Any thoughts on her?" Dakota looked at Dawn's photo next. "She's a bit of an oddball," she admitted. "And she totally doesn't understand the meaning of privacy like when she blurted my business on national TV. Or everyone else's, for that matter. But most people understand she did mean well and was trying to help in her weird way. And being framed as a thief was definitely harsh."
"Okay," Josh continued, "We'll save Sam for last and move onto Brick. Any thoughts on him?"
"He was definitely one of the nicer people there. But if I have to say something bad about him, it's that he can be pretty spineless, like with how Lightning was bullying Sam or how Jo was treating the Maggots. Still, he's pretty good and he sometimes asks me for a few fashion tips every now and then."
"So how do you feel about fellow fashion lover Anne-Maria?"
"She definitely gets more hate than she deserves, in my opinion. Yes, she can be quite brash and a tad rude, but it's not like she goes out of her way to be mean like other people. She's usually defending herself or another, like how she kept Jo from suffocating in that water challenge. And unlike Brick, she definitely is more willing to call out someone's BS, with Jo being the best example yet again. Honestly, if she never quit because of that bogus diamond, she could've definitely made the Final Five at least."
"Wow. The first positive about her. So, do you think positively of Mike, as well?"
"Eh, I'm kinda neutral on him. I mean, I understand why he chose to hide his disorder a bit, but it also caused him more problems than needed. I can talk with him casual if needed, but I don't really reach out to him."
"Alright. Hmm, next is Jo. Any thoughts on her?"
"Besides her being a complete jerk to everyone? I'm glad I was never on her team. And if the Maggots didn't keep winning, she would've been cut way sooner."
"No surprises there. Now this next one should be interesting since he caused both your eliminations." Dakota looked at Scott's picture next. "He's a guy I don't like," she explained as she scooted the picture away. "Look, I know reality shows always have this 'bad guy' in every season, but he takes it to a whole other level. Sabotage, theft, blackmail and just being a general ass to everyone. Like poor Sam. He's still on my top three people I dislike from the cast."
"Still harboring some hate," Josh noted. "One question before we continue: if you knew Scott was bad, why not try to warn everyone while you interned?"
"Because Chris put a stupid gag order on me from disclosing anything I saw during the competition to 'keep things interesting'. Another reason to hate that guy."
"Oh. Now, you turned to Zoey once you returned to competing, yet she decided to vote you off."
"Whoa, hang on. Are you suggesting I held a grudge? I didn't. Like, I understood why she decided to vote me off over everyone else. I was half out of my mind and sort of crazy during my mutated state. She was also closer with Mike and Cameron. Plus, even if she didn't vote for me, I would've been a goner anyway. Scott had the idol and sank those filthy teeth into Zoey's trust. After she was cut, one of the first things she did was practically beg me for an apology. She felt that bad over voting me off. We're on much better terms now."
"Quite the story there! So, the first finalist up is Lightning, and I'm guessing he fills one of the spots of people you dislike?"
"YES! He was such a massive jerk to everyone, especially poor Sam. And before you bring up the whole daddy issues, it's not an excuse. My mom was absent during my teen years to pursue her science studies and only really came out of her fancy science place for holidays, but that didn't turn me into a jerk! Can we please move off of him?"
"Fine, Your Highness. What do you think of Cameron?"
"Well, he was definitely more rootable than that jerk jock. And I guess he has that charm to him. But thinking I was someone to study does cross a certain line. Still, that kid did earn his win in Revenge, even if I prefer someone else over him."
"I can guess who. And now let's move onto him, shall we?" Dakota smiled at Sam's picture. "Oh, where to begin?" she sighed. "At first, I was put off by his awkwardness and his attempts at flirting. But he soon turned out to be other guys that tried to hit on me. Most of the guys were shallow and only sought me as some sort of gain because of my connections or good looks. The difference with Sam...he actually tried to connect with me on a deeper level. When he mentioned something we shared in common, I was taken aback since it was the first time a guy ever said that and I honestly didn't know how to react. And when I rewatched my elimination episode from the loser's resort and saw Sam's confessional about expecting to be rejected over and over...it was a bit endearing. The guy definitely has better maturity with relationships over some other people."
"But you shocked everyone by your return," Josh continued. "With Sam being the most ecstatic."
"Yeah, and he wasn't even mad when I crash-landed on him. And during my stint as an intern, he treated me way better than McLean ever did. I think the moment where Sam actually asked for my advice during the fashion challenge was what sold it for me. The fact that he valued my opinion... And after I mutated, he still cared for me and stuck to my side, which was really touching. However, the fact that he returned to mutate was a bit concerning and I did confront him about it. He told me he wanted to relate to me better, but I sternly told him he didn't need to do that. And when I started getting treatment to reverse my mutation, Sam was still there. We're still a very loving couple to this day."
"Definitely a happy ending there. So, did you meet up with the original cast or Gen 3?"
"I did meet that Zeke guy since he was also getting treatment after McLean's torture, and he isn't as bad as people claim. Another good duo is Katie and Sadie. While they are technically my business rivals nowadays, it's great they maintained their friendship after so long and I heard they're even in a relationship. Lindsay's also cool and I was so bummed that she didn't win Action. Like, that was so her shining point! Sierra did a little interview of me and I love those stories she writes of Sam and me. From the Pahkitew cast, a group somehow zanier than my own, I've met up with Ella and she's just as cheerful as she was on the show. But I unfortunately bumped into that Sugar girl. Just as rude and disgusting as the camera showed. How she made it as far as she did is beyond me."
"Wow. Quite a bit of juice. Last question: what do you think of the new cast?"
"Well, I do relate to Nichelle quite a bit as we are fellow stars, and I do feel bad Hollywood did her so dirty. Julia and MK are total mean girls, Scary Girl's a creep and I consider the finalists a bit overrated. Other than that, no real strong opinions."
"Okay. That does it. Thank you for your time, Dakota."
"No problem. But, uh, no handshakes, though. Don't wanna risk crushing your hand." Dakota walked out of the studio. "Quite a good start with this cast," Josh thought as he looked down at his clipboard. "Now who-? Oh. Well, how am I to conduct an interview with someone who's practically mute?"
The kind-hearted diva is here! And like Ezekiel, she's becoming more human now. So, she has quite a bit of dirt, from guys like Scott and Lightning, a few positives of Anne-Maria, the drama surrounding her and Zoey and of course her loving relationship with Sam.
Next comes a man of few...well, zero words, but a whole lot of smarts to back him up. Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a Happy New Year!
