Yo, it's me ya boi maus. So here's another chapter. For Red vs. Blue Remnant Rewritten, the next chapters, along with this story will be delayed. I want to apologize to you guys, to those who supported my works, it means a lot to me. But this week along with the next one will be the preparations for the midterms in my second semester in senior high. I must focus on my academics first, but that doesn't mean I will be abandoning my stories.

I do not own Red vs. Blue, RWBY nor Halo.

After a good week of shore leave and spending some down time for themselves, the Reds and Blues left each of their respective homes and travelled back to Gulch's capital, Chorus. It was the day before each of them will be shipped out for their scouting mission in Remnant. The two teams, donning their standard issue PT gear: a black shirt with matching sweatpants and white running sneakers, with some of their respective armor color printed in the letters UGM, walked together to the armory for their equipment.

"This is it men. It's time for us to receive some of the new toys for us to dish out against our enemies!" Sarge enthusiastically marched forward dragging alongside his trusty-ish crew behind him.

Grif sighed as he walked along "The heck are you so pumped up about it Sarge? It's only just guns. We pick them up, point it at our foes, and fuck 'em up. It's the same old same old."

"Then clearly you don't have what it takes to be a true soldier you walking pile of lard. Our weapons are our pride and glory. It's what we used to defeat Remnant's invading armies. Ah the good times, did I ever tell you boys about the time I used my trusty shotgun too-"

Simmons and Grif replied at the same time.

"Yes, dozens of times!"

"Well you knuckleheads better shut up and listen! That's an order! Back when some Insurrectionist activity was at it's peak, there I was-

Grif and Simmons groaned in displeasure while Donut happily listened to his superior's tales of the engagements he fought before. Lopez, seeing Sarge's stories insignificant in his role as the team mechanic and robot, muted his ears to silence the red sergeant's rambling of his "Glory Days"

Church ignored the latter team and proceeded to go inside with the rest of his group, with Doc tagging along. Even though Doc was neutral, he mostly spent time with the blues because they were outnumbered by the reds, and with Tex not always being there to assist them. He also preferred to be within their vicinity because he was the polar opposite of Sarge, choosing the more level-headed group rather than the violent methods Sarge planned in red base.

"So" Doc piped up, "what weapons do you guys think we'll be receiving this time?"

"Only one way to find out Doc." Church replied.

Church pushed open the doors and they were amazed to see the inside. Lots of scientists and engineers moving around with various states of weapons and vehicles in the making.

Tucker looked around with awe and said "Would you just look at this. Damn, I never wanna leave this place. The only thing that's missing though are some posters of hot chicks."

"Yeah, and a cookie machine! Oh, and maybe some cotton candy makers, and chocolate pudding and spaghetti bowls!" Caboose continued while listing some of his favorite food stuffs.

Church sighed and looked around once more. As he did, he caught sight of a tall person wearing yellow armor with purple highlights waving at them and another one with dark red and gray armor with a slightly cracked visor looking at their direction curtly nodding.

The cobalt sniper motioned his teammates to follow with red team in tow after hearing Sarge's story again.

When they arrived, the two armored personnel greeted them.

"Hello, my name's Tiny" the tall yellow one, in which to the team's surprise that she was female, cheerily greeted them.

"Isn't it ironic that your name's Tiny but you are huge?" Tucker said.

Church elbowed him for that.

"Oh no need to worry" Tiny assured that she wasn't insulted "I often get that a lot. And this here is Axel." she introduced the other armored person.

"Greetings." Axel said. "So you guys must be the Reds and Blues" he continued while inspecting each one of them. "I'm one of the weapon specialists here and Tiny is one of the best mechanics slash engineers around here."

"Aw shucks" Tiny became flustered

"Now me and Tiny will be showing you guys your equipment for the mission."

"Let's skip the monologuing son and show us those sweet boomsticks." Sarge pleaded.

Axel shrugged and nodded to tiny to get them their gear.

"Just let me continue this guys please? This is important. As you may know, we have been taught that the people in Remnant, specifically the huntsmen, have aura and semblances to help them in fighting right?"

Everyone nodded.

"That is why Gulch developed the game changing MJOLNIR armor, tailored to the Spartans to counter the huntsmen and huntresses. Well in time, the Materials Group has been researching to create armor for non augmented personnel to use."

"That is where we Sim troopers come in right. To test them?" Simmons answered.

Axel nodded. "That is correct. While it has been shown to be highly successful and effective, it has one major disadvantage against the huntsmen."

"And what is that sir Axel?" Doc asked.

"Please son, let's skip the formalities. Just call me Axel okay? The disadvantage we have is that it takes a long time to put on. First the techsuit, or the skin suit as most people call it, and then each armor piece attached separately."

Church and the rest nodded at this.

"Before we are deployed to fight, we first equip it at base. But, Misriah, alongside Acheron security and Chalybs Defense Solutuons have been experimenting on them to make the armor quick to put on while we're out there on the field." Axel pause and looked over to see Tiny approaching with a cobalt and red vambrace in her hands.

"Well that's convenient. Looks like they have finally heard our complaints on how much time we take in putting on our armor." Grif muttered.

"Yeah cuz we no longer have to wait on your slow ass in doing so." Simmons quipped.

"And how do they exactly do that?" Donut asked.

"Time to see for yourselves." Axel said. "May the two team leaders step forward?"

Sarge and Church complied.

"Is this to test us who's worthy of wearin' that new armor first? Alrighty then. I may be past my prime blue but that doesn't mean I'm not down and dirty for some good ol' MMA fightin'. Oorah!" Sarge yelled as he went for a hook but Church nonchalantly sidestepped and forwarded his leg which tripped Sarge.

"Grr, dagnabbit."

"Enough" Axel ordered. "This isn't a fight to the death contest. We're all allies here remember?"

Grif scoffed. "Good luck convincing our senile leader with that."

"Seriously you guys, just put these on. No need for hostilities." Axel handed out the armor pieces to Church and Sarge who both attached the vambraces to their forearms.

"Aight, so what's next?" Church asked.

"See that small button on the side?" Axel pointed. Church and Sarge nodded.

"Press that and let the magic unfold."

The two teams were excited along with Tiny who was bouncing excitedly. Church pressed the button first and was amazed to see his body being enveloped by the techsuit and has the other armor piece appear until he was fully cladded in his cobalt armor. He was still wearing his PT gear and sneakers underneath the techsuit and armored boots.

"Holy shit!"

"That was amazing!"

"Oh my god! Why are we yelling!?"

"It functions similarly to Iron man in Endgame and Infinity War!"

"Excelente."

"Neat."

Tucker, Doc, Caboose, Simmons, Lopez and Grif all watched in amazement as Church was now fully wearing the armor in just a few seconds.

"Chekhov's cannon! My turn!" Sarge exclaimed as he repeated what Church did and he was now also clad in red Mjolnir armor.

"Holy fucking smokes! I dig this shit!" Church enthusiastically hopped in place while flexing his arms and moving his fingers.

Axel nodded with impression "Now that is the new MJOLNIR codenamed "NANO" or "NANOTECH". The reason? Each of the other parts are made by lots of nanobots stored in each vambraces and can be quickly deployed by the wearer during combat. You guys are lucky the Chairman and the Director convinced the Materials Group to let the Freelancers, Hargrove's men, and you guys to use these bad boys. The armors are still in it's final testbed phase so just expect a few minor bugs, but overall, it's said to perform greatly. This has now been issued to the Spartans first before tweaking some parts to conform to just regular soldiers."

"I want one!" Tucker yelled.

"Yeah, me too!" Simmons agreed.

"Woah now, hold your horses fellas, you'll be getting yours soon." Axel calmed the two down.

"The other cool thing is you boys can wear some PT gear or casual clothes underneath the armor with no more need to change." Tiny also helpfully explained

"Awesome." Grif said.

"And efficient too." Doc happily agreeing.

Caboose also piped up. "I can now go to the bathroom quickly."

Donut also agreed. "Impressive, I can just wear my designer clothes just underneath the techsuit without the need to change. This is very effective you guys."

"Ok" Axel continued "Moving on, the armor now has the standard energy shield, magnetic straps for your weapons and ammo, a new HUD and BIOS and many more gigs for you to find out."

"Um Axel?" Simmons asked.

"What is it son?"

"The armor, it kinda looks like the GEN 1 Mjolnir, not like the GEN 2 we previously used."

"Yeah that's right" Church spoke up. "It does look like the classic armor."

"The Materials group said that while the GEN 2 performed successfully, the GEN 1 has higher levels of protection, that is why it resembles the old Mk. VI." Axel answered for the two.

Simmons nodded at this info.

"Now for your robot here, how about you go to Section F5 so that we can incorporate you to the newest model of armor like them."

"Esta bien. Gracias Senor" (Okay. Thank you mister.) Lopez odded and proceeded to go to the are he was assigned to."

"Alright, now for the guns."

"Oh yeah baby, here we go!" Sarge happily exclaimed.

Tiny pushed a weapons rack on wheels to display the weapons, some of which are new while the others were still the same."

"Damn, I've never seen these before." Tucker walked over to inspect the guns.

"Don't worry kiddo, I'll be going over those shortly."

Caboose walked up and stood next to Tucker and saw some brightly colored bullets being displayed."

"Oh, are those bullet crayons!? I always wanted those. Now I can go and color the world without the need to bring paint."

"Yeah what are those Axel?" Church deactivated the armor and approached the weapons rack with the rest of the Blood Gulch Crew.

"That, my friends, is Dust."

"Dust. Seriously?" Grif asked incredulously.

"Not the dust that needs to be cleaned off, but one of Remnant's main source of energy except Gulch." Axel answered. "The rest of the kingdoms have a variety of uses for them including ammunition."

"Oh, that's right." Simmons concluded. "If I remember correctly, Gulch didn't have a lot of dust mines thus giving them a great disadvantage than the rest of the kingdoms right?"

"Good to know that one of you guys likes history. Your friend is correct. Gulch didn't have a lot of dust so we learned to use other resources. One thing to note is that dust loses it's functionality at space, which is why only our country has ever been able to explore the final frontier. Now, the dust bullets you see have a range of properties. They can be basic rounds and elemental rounds, like fire, ice, lightning and many more."

"Cool." "Awesome." "Reminds me of those sci fi and fantasy movies." the troopers sounded off their remarks.

"Which is why you are being issued these bullets. That way, when you encounter hostiles, the people of the other kingdoms won't get suspicious of you using different ammo. A good thing to know is that you can purchase dust bullets in shops so you guys don't have to worry about running out."

"Good to know." Church muttered.

"Now, onto the guns. The one you're holding there is the VK78 Commando."

Tucker looked down on the gun he held.

"The VK78 fires 6.5mm rounds on automatic, and is fitted via rail-mounting with a recon sight-style optic that can magnify up to at least x3. It is distinctive among human rifles in that it does not share the common bullpup configuration of weapons like the MA40 assault rifle and BR75 battle rifle, in which the magazine is inserted behind the trigger. Instead, the magazine well is located at an angle directly in front of the trigger guard. The VK78 can hold 20 rounds at one time with an observed 60 rounds reserve."

"Sweet" Tucker patted his gun.

"That gun functions similarly to a DMR but with a faster fire rate and larger magazine box." Axel continued.

"Looks unique." Doc commented.

Caboose saw a different variation of the assault rifle he mostly used. He picked it up and showed it to the weapons specialist.

"What about this thingy?" Caboose asked.

"That's the MA40 Assault rifle. Produced by Misriah Armory, the MA40 is a part of the same lineage as the MA37. The rifle feeds from the new, MA5-standard 36-round detachable box magazines, akin to the MA5D."

"So does it means it's awesome?"

"Uh, sure?"

"Neat."

Church shook his head and grabbed a sniper rifle. "What about this" he asked. "Kinda looks like the one I previously used."

"The Sniper Rifle System 99-Series 7 Anti-Matériel (SRS99-S7 AM), also named the S7 Sniper, is a gas-operated anti-materiél sniper rifle used by the Unified Gulch Military, part of the widely-used SRS99 series of weapons manufactured by Misriah Armory. It's in the same line your previous rifle was in." Axel helpfully explained. "I take it that those will be the main weapons you will be using?"

"Yep" the three blues answered.

"Ok, be sure to take some sidearms. Here. This is the new pistol, the MK50 Sidekick, produced from Emerson tactical Systems. It is different from the M6 series that Misriah makes."

The blues just took them, not actually giving much words to say. It just looks like a common looking pistol.

"Now with the blues aside, time for red team to get in gear. Now, what is that new shotgun you have there?" Sarge pointed to the shotgun placed in the rack. it looked different from the usual shotguns he used, with this having a rotary magazine and a handle at front.

Axel then gave the details to the new shotgun. "The CQS48 Bulldog is a pump-action combat shotgun which fires 12-gauge shells from a 10-round rotary magazine. After every shot, the foregrip must be retracted and pushed forward again to work the weapon's action and rotate the cylindrical magazine into the next position. The rotary magazine allows the CQS48 to replenish its supply of loaded ammunition substantially faster than the non-detachable magazines of the M45 and M90 shotguns. However, the 12-gauge ammunition it fires is substantially smaller. The Bulldog integrates ironsights and multiple attachment rail segments on its body."

"Eh, as long as it's a shotgun and it kills, I don't mind." Sarge quickly grabbed the gun and carried it as if it was his long lost child.

"So, what's this new BR model. Kinda looks like the old BR55." Simmons pointed out. Simmons, Grif, Donut and Lopez often wielded battle rifles.

"In appearance, the BR75 bears great similarity to the BR55 battle rifle. Its features a scope mounted on a rail set into its carry-handle, and feeds from magazines of at least 36 rounds. Some notable differences between the BR75 and its predecessor include an accessory rail mount on the left side of the handguard, and a new muzzle brake. It is a highly versatile weapon, capable of engaging targets at a variety of ranges, and is particularly suitable for long-range engagements."

Grif just shrugged while Simmons nodded. Both of them grabbed the new battle rifles and the pistol except Donut who just chose the sidearm."

"Wait, Donut, you aren't going to grab a rifle?" asked Simmons.

"It's ok guys, I have my sights on the new grenade launcher they have."

Donut grabbed a new Hydra MLRS since he was the team's expert grenadier.

"What about you Doc, anything of your liking?" asked Axel.

"Oh, it's ok. I'm actually more of a pacifist." Doc answered as he grabbed a pistol and a newly modified and dust powered Med Scanner. The med scanner looked unique. It looks like an alien pistol and can be used as an offensive weapon.

"You know Doc, you're gonna need a lot more firepower during the mission." Church said to the medic.

"It's alright Church, I got you guys to do the shooting mostly. Now, let me go grab my medical gear." Doc said as he walked to get his things.

Church turned to see a Rocket Launcher and grabbed it just in case.

"Yo Axel, you mind if we take this?"

"By all means, feel free to. You guys need to be prepared for your journey."

Church nodded. They were now all set to go. Lopez was now done being upgraded and had his body covered with a large poncho and baggy pants to cover him up and a cowboy hat for his head so that Remnant's locals won't be suspicious of him. Lopez grabbed an M739 SAW for suppressive fire in case they get stuck in a situation where it involves one.

After grabbing their weapons, the rest of the Reds and Blues were now given their new armor and went off to the meeting hall again to know what they'll be going up against. There, they were debriefed about the people of Remnant, the grimm, the skills and unique weapons that huntsmen use (many of them were intrigued that the huntsmen and huntresses still use swords, crossbows, maces, etc. and that they can transform into guns or other modes and some are flashy), the White Fang and etc.

After the whole debriefing, they were now ordered to go back to their barracks, or which in this case for the Reds and Blues, back to their bases in blood Gulch so they can prepare for their mission tomorrow.

END

A/N. So thank you guys for reading this and the support. The next chapters will be delayed but don't worry, I will still continue to make this story and RVB Remnant rewritten. If you're wondering how the armor is put on, go check Taco Bell's Halo infinite commercial, where the guy sips his drink and the Mjolnir armor pieces appear and cover him. Also, the armor they now use is similar to the Mjolnir GEN 3 of Halo Infinite along with the weapons. I want to thank Halopedia for the information on the guns So once again, I want to thank you guys and see you all later.
