Touko's pov

Before we knew it, the third day has started. Yesterday's events were just weird, that team plasma grunt attacked us then when we caught him, he was begging us to save his life and then died, plus the vision I saw yesterday...was it really arceus who came to inform me or was it a dream. 'catalyst' he said that I am a catalyst but is it true?

At a short distance we saw the road which connects pinwheel forest' exit and the entrance of sky arrow bridge, though we are going into the opposite direction of the road and try to find team plasma. " So,touya, you can put me down, right? so-" " no! you might collapse again " I just stopped arguing after that because I have said this so many times. BOOM, we heard the blast from the distance, and it was in the direction where we were headed to.

" What the- what was that !?" cheren exclaimed " we have to check it out there, to know what is happening " touya said and ran in the direction along with cheren. As we went near to the place from where we heard the blast, we saw that there were few pokemons running away and the forest fire had taken place. " Dewott come on out and use water gun" "it won't be enough " cheren mumbled, " panpour , water gun " both the water type pokemons were trying their best to extinguish the fire and touya finally put me down.

Suddenly I felt something and turned around to see some scared team plasma grunts, few were injured. I tapped touya's shoulder to call him and pointed my finger towards the team plasma members who were scared and injured. " Is it...for real" he said in disbelief, " touya! see there" cheren shouted and we turned towards the direction he was pointing.

There was a old bald man in some weird robe and it seems he was panicked. " We can't afford to lose him " touya said and went inside the fire " touya!" I exclaimed but it was too late, he was between that fire and suddenly I saw a small devious smirk on that old man's face and he brought something out of his robes' pocket and yelled " everything for accomplishment of team plasma's goals!" and then BOOM.

Touya's pov

For a moment after blast, I thought that I will open my eyes directly in heaven, but "HUFF...HUFF...""Wake up...s...ve..." "no...I...who...are you" "save...t...he will...de..."

'What...happened...Oh yeah...'I got up with a jerk. My back is paining like hell,so do my whole body. I suddenly felt some liquid like material coming under my hand,it was warm when I raised my hand to look at it...it is red,warm'No,...,no,no, no'I looked back and the view was more than horrible...'how many days have passed since...no she might be here...somewhere ' . I looked at my surroundings, there was burned bodies and few who weren't were bleeding, but none were the bodies of touko and cheren 'save...'.

I looked around to find the source of voice but no one was there " touya?" I heard touko's voice and saw that she and cheren came out of the bush. I ran towards them and hugged them, " are you two safe?" " yes" touko said " Cheren quickly took me little faraway, that's- wait a minute, but how you-" " I don't know, thankfully I am not dead but- ow" the pain has started to get over my body, it is paining like hell.

" Touya, calm down, just sit down near the tree" cheren said" but-" " Touya!,... please " touko begged. " I have called your dad, and he said that he will send the police force...and you will rest now without any objections " cheren said and I didn't complained as I was tired as hell.

The next thing we knew was, me and touko were taken directly to castelia and we both were admitted in hospital. As for me, I told to stay for about a month in the hospital, whereas touko only had to stay for a day. Team plasma ran away but left the skull back and said that it was useless. " Dad, touko's trainer card is-" " I did what you said, now will you care to explain why you said me to cancel touko's trainer card ".

" Because I care for her" " huh! that is not any kind of reason " " it is " I said.

" Dad, I want some time off, please let me rest " I said politely enough so it will not show any kind of disrespect to him. He didn't said anything and went out. Till I woke up, it was already past two days and I suppose we were in that forest for about three days, that means it has been a week since we the time I have earned my second badge.

When the news of burgh's death reached, the whole city was shocked, the trainers who were about to battle him were in panic and for that the elite four and champion decided to make a new gym and for that the league date has shifted forward two months later than the earlier dates. That was a plus point for me, to prepare for the next battle and to prepare a strategy, so that I would be able to find light stone and defeat team plasma.

The reason I know about light stone is because dad had told me about it few days back, before we went at nacrene city gym.

Few days ago

" Hello " I replied, " oh, touya, if you wouldn't mind, will you meet me today at the nacrene city museum at early morning when no one comes " dad said and I just said him 'yes' but when I was about to ask why, he hanged up the call. I went to nacrene city museum and dad also came on time, " you called?" I asked and he gave me a nod and signaled me to follow him.

I followed and we stopped in front of a white stone kept in the museum. " Here she comes " dad said and looked at the stairs which leads to gym. Lenora came towards us " you two came on time, that's great " she said and smiled. " So, lenora I think we should explain touya about it " dad said and her smile quickly disappeared. " Touya, there is a thing that I had hid it from you and that is-" he looked at white stone and then towards me, " this stone is known as light stone" " you mean, the stone from the stories?" " yes,though it is shameful to call it a story as it is...a fact " lenora said.

" It is legendary pokemon Reshiram, and you are already chosen by it" dad said " then why it isn't transforming like it do in stories...or, you could say, like when it did last time or-" "because it needs your sister " lenora explained" huh?" " she means, a catalyst, a person chosen to be by hero's side" dad continued " like, for some reactions to form a catalyst is required...in a same way a catalyst is required, so that the legendary pokemons reshiram and zekrom will awoke".

He put his hand on the light stone and for a moment it started shining orange, like a lava and it engulfed itself in a fire which even covered around dad's hand. I gasped and looked at him, but he was not even flinching, like he has trained himself many times. It started shining but then dad removed his hand and when he did, his hand and light stone both went completely normal like nothing has happened.

" See, if I'd had kept it for a longer period, reshiram would have been awaken and it could have caused chaos in this town " dad explained.

Present day

I don't know why but that is also a reason why I couldn't let touko be a trainer any more. Now what will happen after this decision of mine, is unknown to me too.
