I DON'T OWN ANYTHING

Touya's pov

" Good thing we arrived on time..." iris sighed, we arrived a little later. I looked at N, he didn't said anything on the way and now he is just standing near the door away from all of us. I still didn't asked but I want to ask why exactly he came to see touko. 'Is there some kind of strategy of team plasma ? Like kidnapping ' I looked at him closely, he was looking at the floor, deep in thoughts.

Someone knocked the door, " yes, " I said, dad came in, " you called ?" he asked, " uh, yeah, she said to call you and even touko isn't feeling well ," I explained, he nodded and turned to N, "and what are you doing here ?" he was glaring him to which even he responded in the same way, "nothing, " he said and left, 'huh ? he was there just to see dad arrive ?' whatever all that was about.

" It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. fujiwara, my name is iris, " iris said and bowed her head, " do I know you ?" dad asked.

" No, but perhaps you know Mr. Drayden, " she said, ' Drayden !? does she mean the mayor of opelucid city ! ' " yes, why ?" she clapped and said, " great ! this will make things easier for me, " we all gave her a confusing look, she removed something from her pocket and called dad near the bed where she was sitting to give it to him.

" Mr. Drayden said to give this to you," it was a small booklet, " it has information about the catalysts and about how to- " he stopped her from talking further and turned to cheren, " I want you to stay away from this room for a while, is that okay ?" he asked, cheren nodded and went out, " should I -" " no need to, you must hear this information, " he told me and turned to iris, " and be careful about what you are talking in front of others, we can't risk the information about legendary dragons, heroes and catalysts get out, " he seemed slightly displeased when he said that and she nodded.

Finally he turned around and said, " because team plasma has taken the dark stone and touko isn't close to them, " "but she is somewhat close to N, " " not enough, I guess, if you had found it before them, then I guess touko could have awakened it, but if it has, then...well..." I stared at him for a while and asked, " what is the cost of waking up two legendary dragons ?"

He looked at me with surprise, but didn't said anything . " Dad, " I called, " I asked, what is the cost of summoning two legendary dragons ?" another moment of silence before he said anything, " should I ask drayden or iris, " " no !" he almost raised his voice. " That means there is something dangerous that might happen to her, " he looked at touko and nodded, " it might traumatize her or put her in vegetative state or worse... death, " my eyes widened, " I was scared that you will deny touko from summoning reshiram, " he rubbed touko's hair.

' That's why iris was staring at me like that, ' I looked at him and then at touko, " I am going out for training, if touko wakes up... tell her everything that you told me, " he looked at me in shock, " whatever her decision is, that will also be my decision, " he kept staring at me in shock, " what ? " munna, dodge them and use psychic, " munna dodged it and was about to use psychic, " do you think you are the only one who brings up battle strategies ! servine, leaf tornado, " before I could think of anything, munna got trapped in the tornado. " Uh...!?" it was difficult to think of anything and before I could give him orders, he fainted.

" Munna, come back, go dewott, " dewott came out but cheren didn't send any pokemon, he just stared at me. "Hey, send a pokemon, do you want to lose in front of me, " I tried to provoke him but he just kept staring, " touya, I am not a stupid, you know ," " huh ?" " you are looking like a mess, ever since you came out of that room, " I looked at dewott, he turned to me with a similar expression, " you might not know this but pokemons can sense their trainers' feelings... look I am not going to ask what happened in there or anything... but I don't want to fight you when you are in this state, " he said, " is it somehow related to touko ?"

I nodded, " I knew it, " I looked at him, I don't know what my face looked like at the moment, 'am I looking sad ? irritated ? angry? ' even I don't know but I do know what to say, " what will you do if you have to save our world but at the cost of your precious one ?" he smiled and said, " I already lost them, " his smile slowly faded like it was never there, " I was more closer to you three, you, touko and bianca,...I can't lose more, I guess..." he trailed off and looked at the trees nearby, " if we all would have been here, we would have did something that would have annoyed others, like climbing up the trees or anything, something !" he turned around and looked at the direction of the road.

" But I did learned something on the journey that I did until now,... and that is... it is not always possible to keep your precious people near you, it isn't possible to protect them forever... you three were more precious to me, because you three understood me, my parents were there but only at night after coming home, then ? You tell me, how many more people can I lose... " he sighed in defeat, like he was trying to console a child but the child isn't listening. We both didn't said anything to each other, just looked away, anywhere but towards each other.

I was only missing all those days, when everything was simple for us, simple enough that we didn't have to think about losing anyone. I don't want to lose touko, I don't want to let team plasma take other's pokemons, but then again like cheren said, I... can't protect everyone.

Done, hope it was interesting, well, now the downward arc will begin ! then again I know it is some weird name that I gave, please pardon me for that. I also thought of this chapter, it was... well, I didn't thought I will make it like this, I mean, people usually view cheren as a person who thinks practically and not like how I have portrayed him in this chapter, but then again it is a guess on my part, so..., enjoy !
