When not even Death brings you solace, what is there left to do but cut one's strings?

Beacon was suposed to be his chance to be a hero. It was his chance to live up to his families legacy and become a hero. Unfortuantly Jaune wasn't a lucky man and on his first night in Beacon, he finds himself waking up in a weird place called the 'Hunters Dream' And the night is long and cruel. But maybe, just maybe he could be a hero.

Broken down, warped beyond repair and traumatised he fought on, sacrificing and adapting as need be. He lost so much but now he is past the Nightmare and returned to a world he scarcely remembers. With a broken mind and memories distorted, how will he move forward with his hands stained in the red of so many? How will he make up for his failures? And why is he a child?

Ruby is someone who is broken, guilty and with far too much blood on her hands. She is not sweet, innocent and eats far too many cookies for her liking. Obviously someone has her confused with a different Ruby but at least they had one thing in common, they slay beasts.

Great Ones are simpathic in spirit, and Oeden answered the Hunter's prays, knowing he would find peace in every world he sent him to. This world...was Remnant.

The Orphan of Kos has been slain by the Good Hunter, and reunited with its mother Kos. But instead of the end of the nightmare, Kos sends him elsewhere, along with his companion.

A Great One took notice when Jaune's soul, begging for heroism, was unleashed to the world. Having faced the Eldritch Truth, succeeded the Vilebloods and survived the Hunt of Yharnam, a new Jaune wakes up for his first day of class in Beacon. Inspired by The Day After The Hunt among others, but poorly written, less drastic changes and an attempted focus on 'normal' Beacon life.
