Hiccup never thought after Grimmel's death he'd have to keep an eye on events beyond his own island anymore. A previously unknown tribe comes to change that for him when they make a nationalist their Chieftan who desires to bring back the viking lifestyle of seven generations, expansion via aggression, and a ruthless goal to eradicate what he calls the 'unvikings'.

Like many other stories, Hiccup runs away from Berk to protect his deepest secret. However, he finds himself on an island where dragons are treated as friends instead of foes. Hiccup was taken as a baby by Cloudjumper and returned five years later after completing training. He falls in love with Astrid and deal with problems in his life. Has a baby sister named Hicca who is considered useless.

Stoick writes up a marriage contract with the Hoffersons after Astrid kissed Hiccup. When Astrid hurts Hiccup, she has month to fix it before the thing to marry Hiccup or lose him forever.

The Berk PD is scrambling. Rumor has it famed criminal Drago Bludvist has returned but they have no leads. However Hiccup Haddock, a disgraced officer of the force, might have the answer. It's up to Detective Astrid Hofferson to solve the case and bring Drago to justice.
