Disclaimer : I own neither Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari or Naruto.

A crackle of burning wood, and a potent smell of meat drew both Chiaia and Lashara towards it as they slowy approached it in the distance.

Wary but tired and hungry from running they couldn't help themselves from the allure of a false sense of security.

Trying to get away from the relentless white Seikijin that possessed demon like determination and masterful skills. They barely got away with their lives with Chiaia abandoning her Seikijin to distract it taking Lashara into the forest to hide in hopes to getting it off their trail.

It wasn't ideal far from it but it was far better than having the skilled pilot pursue them doggedly slowly wearing them down even further before killing them.

Walking along the loud forest they were nearly attacked by 2 animals and were still even now being attacked by insects. The mosquitoes relentless in their pursuit not even giving them a hint of rest after the arduous battle.

So itchy, irrated and famished they could only place their bets on whoever owned the fire to be sympathetic to their plight as Chiaia had no more strength to fight and protect her Queen.

Peeking into the clearing seeing a silhouette Chiaia couldn't make it out completely as they were turned away from them.

Glancing back at her Queen in tired resignation she said " Please wait here Lashara sama. If I don't come back please leave without me."

It would be better than both of them dying here in vain.

Glancing at her Lashara nodded not to agree but doing so she could leave without a burden on her mind.

Would she abandon her escort? Let's not even talk about how far she would get without her. She simply wasn't the kind of person to do so.

Taking a deep breath Chiaia walked inside the clearing quickly taking it in for hazards seeing none in her vision.

Focusing her complete attention on the origin of the fire she saw a boy her age stroking the flames.

Peering at his face quickly remebering it she noticed the eye liner? No a orange pigmentation shadowing his eyes, his eyes themselves holding a deep yellow color with bars in them.

Gulping at the weird appearance she glanced at his torn shirt on his chest against her will admiring the solid mass before catching herself blushing.

Looking up she saw a necklace adorning him. The green piece swaying as he moved.

She looked to the massive...scroll he had beside him in a tad bit of confusion before looking at the strangest thing in the entire clearing.

That being the animals surrounding him sleeping in a completely calm manner.

A family of deer, numerous birds of all types and a armadillo of all things just to name a few.

Done observing the strange scene, she motivated by the safety of her Queen stepped foward with a single shaking leg trying her best to ignore the strangeness of it all.

Seeing the glance she nearly froze still walking without changing her slow pace.

20 feet away she bowed politely before asking " Good night sir. Can you p-please help me for tonight? I lost all my things and have no where to go."

She uttered her tone cracking a bit showing the desperate feelings never having been brought quite this low.

Waiting for a answer nervously she glanced up, coincidentally at the exact time as he turned his head nodding towards her in agreement.

Nearly slumping in relief at the clearly sane person she again reiterated what she said though her tone held some apology this time.

"Sir I have a friend who came with me. I told her to stay back just in case. Can she please join us?" She said her voice getting smaller as she realized how shameless she sounded asking such a thing.

'I-I'm sure Lashara sama will make it up to him!' She thought so very uncomfortable at being in such a vulnerable postion.

Glancing at him seeing him turn and nod again she sighed her tension leaving her body as she left not before saying "Thank you."

'We got lucky Lashara sama!' she thought knowing how crazy some people were.

Walking to the golden haired girl hiding she nodded to her as she revealed herself not being able to hide the relief on her face.

Walking with her Lashara quickly asked lowly " Did you tell him our identities?" Getting a quick headshake as she nodded to indicate she got it.

"Hello Sir! Thank you for allowing us to stay here! There are not many as kind as you!" Lashara said feeling weird at calling someone so young in a clearly superior address.

She was a queen afterall. It would be weird if she didn't feel that way.

Seeing him gesture to the fire both girls quickly walked foward far too hungry to put on a facade of meekness.

Immediately wolfing down the fish and clearly avian in nature meat both girls nearly sobbed at the taste never realizing food could taste this good.

'So good!' Chiaia thought completely demolishing the meat.

Belching uncontrollably Chiaia blushed to her roots. Even more so hearing the low chuckle come from the teen across them.

Glaring in embarrassment she was about to reflexively snap before stopping when two cups of water were shoved towards her.

"Sorry...sorry..forgive..me? " He said his voice hoarse and thick with a unrecognizable accent as he looked at her with a apologetic smile at embarrassing her.

Calming down a bit embarrassed herself that she was about to explode she nodded trying to look away from the sincere eyes, taking the cups nearly dropping them at the heaviness looking at them with wide eyes.

Catching the smirk as he turned away she promised revenge as she gave one to her Queen who was watching the proceedings with a amused eye.

"Thank you ???" Lashara said obviously leading on for his name wanting to make conversation with someone who helped them so much.

Seeing him glance at her then away she heard the quiet " Uzumaki...Naruto".

Sounding it out for a bit she glanced at Chiaia, who did the same knowing the name was more than a touch foreign.

Chiaia taking over said " Thank you Uzumaki san. My name is Chiaia and this is Lashara. We will never forget this debt. If the world had more people like you it'd be a much better place. " Getting a deep nod from the blonde queen clearly agreeing with her.

Nodding idly he said " No.. problem. Happy..to...help." as he turned over another set of meat massaging his throat.

Smilling at the kindness Lashara said nothing breathing in slowly trying to regain some energy. Though she opened her eyes when he said " Still hungry?" Pushing two meat on sticks towards them.

Glancing at it nearly drooling she shook her head as she barely resisted saying playfully " Are you trying to fatten me to eat me up Uzumaki san? Perhaps you aren't as kind-hearted as I thought?!"

Naruto smilling at the jest easily recognizing it for what it was tilted his head in mock confusion as he said " Eat ...you?" As he took a nice long look at her clearly telling her what he thought at the idea.

It was far too amusing of a thought. The idea of fatting up a shrimp of all things to eat it. There were a handful of things that were more useless than such a action.

Shivering feeling his intense alien eyes on her blushing embarrassed and simultaneously enraged she said " I'll have you know that I'm a perfectly fine option for consumption! Just because I'm a bit smaller doesn't matter at all!"

It was easy to see what he was thinking when he was so completely and utterly blatant with it.

Chiaia's face taking on a deadpan as she took both sticks not to seem rude to their host said "Lashara Sa ugh. Lashara you know you're just arguing whether your worth eating right? Doesn't seem to wise considering..." She trailed off looking at the forest.

"Though if you don't want this -" she said wiggling the stick near her mouth more than happy to eat what was on it before it was snatched from her hastily.

Glaring at her stuffing her mouth like a chipmunk with the meat, Lashara promised consequences for this audacity.

Hearing the chuckling they both looked towards their host seeing the smile light up his face before he slowly stifled it staring into the fire.

Lashara herself though it was a pity. He looked far more natural and handsome with the smile on his face.

'Now' She thought swallowing the last piece of meat.

'What do I address here? The ripped clothing, the docile animals or the eyes?' She thought humming ticking off each one deciding it would be far to rude to start of with any. Especially since they just met.

Though she jumped a bit hearing his voice say "Curious? Dont...be...shy. Ask." He said squinting his eyes at her clearly inquisitive face.

A blush dashing her cheeks at being caught, as she also caught the smile on Chiaia's face promising double revenge she said " Uzumaki san. Why are you out in the middle of nowhere?"

It felt like the right place to start, without being a completely useless question or something too intrusive.

Naruto tilted his head downwards thinking about it himself as he said "It's...peaceful. And there's...no where ...for me to go."

'Right now anyway.'

Naruto a bit interested in his new tag alongs trying not to glance at the red head in the skin tight suit said" And..you? Why..are you..stranded?"

Lashara who had been pondering his response had to think a bit before responding.

Luckily she wasn't alone as Chiaia immediately picked up saying " We were attacked by a group of bandits. Luckily we were able to escape before being killed."

She glanced at her Queen who understood her train of thought. It was better to stick as close to the truth as possible. That way they couldn't get caught in some web of lies.

Afterall neither had any survival training. They didn't know how long they would rely on him until help arrived. It wouldn't do to be kicked out for some senseless lie.

Naruto eyes widened a bit hearing that. He had suspected it but still it suprised him to hear it. And the fact that they escaped considering they were teens help to futher that suprise.

Looking at them both he said " Don't worry. I'll help...you out." He said thumbing his chest.

He wouldn't be Naruto Uzumaki if he just ignored something like that even if he wasn't at his best.

Chiaia looked a bit confused at why he would do so for someone he just met. Wouldn't the normal response be to get out of the situation that would cause you trouble?

And she was about to ask before catching her Queen's headshake as she caught herself.

They were still in danger at this very moment and any thing that could help them survive had to be used.

Even if that was someone's kindness. They had no right to be picky in this situation.

So bowing her head she could only apologize to the teen for taking advantage of his kindness and to her queen for being to weak.

'How shameful! A Seikishi using a normal person to keep themselves safe! What did I even train for?' She thought clenching her fist in her palm wondering if all her training was a waste.

It was hard thing to swallow for such a proud girl to be brought so low.

Naruto sensing the shift in the atmosphere said nothing looking at them both as his eyes roved them before peering at the short blonde who spoke solemnly.

"Thank you Naruto. Unfortunately we will have to take you up on your offer. Please know it takes a load off us that we have another ally in these hard times." She said tilting her head down acknowledging and thanking him deeply for his help.

'These girls are weird. Or maybe...I'm weird?' Naruto thought reevaluating what he thought was a overreaction.

He was a super human so clearly his sense of danger was skewered. But for 2 normal girls it was probably completely terrifying to be hunted by such a ruthless set of people.

Nodding to himself he realized his mistake as he took the situation far to lightly as he got up dumping water on the fire, picking up his scroll before he addressed them.

"I have a... house nearby. I know it's...difficult but...do you wish..to stay with me?" He said opening his doors to them without hesitation.

If he was going to help he would go the full mile instead of half assing it.

With Chiaia's head down unable to respond, Lashara did so in both their steads saying " That would be wonderful Naruto. Thank you." She said standing pulling up the depressed Chiaia.

Naruto glanced at the red head and said nothing. He could tell she was quite the proud person and didn't enjoy this situation they found themselves in.

And who would? He didn't think he could find many people who would be ok totally relying on a stranger for help.

So he didn't make it any harder than it needed to be just leading them towards his humble abode without a word.

He had some tact afterall.

Walking behind him Lashara couldn't help but think his back was pretty wide. Looking at him she lamented that he wasn't a Seikishi. Just this little time with him proved he had more heart than those posers she knew.

Sure she only knew him for a bit but she thought herself quite the good judge of character and seeing him not hesitate to help them really cemented it to her that he was quite the character even if it wasn't blatant.

That only made the situation all the more worse with their using him.

Shaking her head she dispelled the thoughts simply thinking she could compensate him for the troubles.

Walking through the forest they glanced down at the path observing. From the indents on the grass it would seem he lived her quite some time.

As they walked the saw the gates as their eyes opened wide seeing him open them.

"Wow! Did you build this?! I doubt you could get anyone to come out in the middle of here!" Chiaia said observing the house in a bit of shock.

And she would be right. No one would be willing to come build here for a simple 2 story wooden building and gates.

Nodding to her question Naruto said "Yep. Though I had... a bit ... of help. It was mainly.. a one...man job."

"Now come in. It's getting...chilly out... there." He told them as he walked inside leaving the door open for them.

Glancing at each both quickly went in happy to be out of the cold and into some kind of safety.

Looking around they were a tad shocked at the detail. The outside not hinting to it all.

Bringing them to one of the only two rooms he took a glance saying "You don't mind... sharing do you?" Getting 2 negative head shakes.

Nodding he opened it before saying" I'll get you both...something soft." as he left in pursuit for it.

Chiaia seeing him leave spoke in a low volume "This is not how I expected this evening to go."

Quite contrary the way things were going they should have been lying in a ditch rather than inside a warm house on pelts.

"True enough but I won't look the horse in its mouth." Lashara said shrugging not taking it for granted.

Just this one day showed her that without her luxury she was just a normal girl. And normal girls didn't question when they got helped out of desperate situations.

Chiaia looked at her wondering if she was taking this situation a bit too blaise.

Seeing Naruto come back they stopped conversating as he handed them the pelts thanking him as he turned around before stopping.

"..." Hestiating for a bit, he pushed on deciding his embarrassment wasn't worth much compared to the real issue.

"Do you wish...me to draw a...bath?" He said pushing through feeling far too self-conscious at the proposition he directed to them.

He really wasn't ready for something like this after going so long without contact with real people.

Chiaia red faced not knowing whether to thank him or chatise him for the suggestion was at a loss for words.

How did you even respond to such a thing? A handsome boy your age asking to draw you a bath? She truly could not stop her imagination going wild at the thought breathing becoming a bit unsettled glancing at everything that wasn't him.

Luckily for her, the queen she served had no such qualms about the situation as she said " You are far to good a host Naruto. We will be taking advantage of you again" She said bowing accepting the kind gesture getting a embarrassed shocked look for Chiaia.

Naruto scratching his head hoping she would have saved him the embarrassment nodded going to set it up.

Glancing at her escort who seemed to be on the verge of either fainting in embarrassment or exploding in anger Lashara slyly asked " What's the matter Chiaia? Afraid of some skinship? It isn't anything I haven't seen before."

Chiaia eye twitched at the nonchalance as she tried calming down deflecting her own feelings on the matter as she quickly whispered "Your Highness! I understood the situation when we came here because we had nowhere to go! But don't you think you're taking this too far?! To bare yourself when a man is nearby?!"

Lifting a eyebrow Lashara responded saying" I don't see a problem? Naruto has been quite the gentleman so far so I have nothing to worry on that front. And I would like to get this gunk off me." She said looking down at her skin marred with dirt.

While she was trying to enjoy the situation as much as she could knowing focusing on the bad did nothing. She truly could not stand the filth.

"Him being nice has nothing to do with it! You know how this would be recieved if this would get out Lashara sama!"

"You are right of course but...who will know if we don't speak of it?" She said whipping her hair in rebuttal.

Taking a deep breath in at her clearly not understanding the intricacies of the situation or more than likely deliberately ignoring it she was about to remind her before clamping up seeing the boy come back.

Naruto glancing at them for a bit said " It's ready."

Turning back gesturing them to follow he took a slow pace hearing the footsteps pick up after a while. 1 set light and carefree and the other dragging as if going to a execution.

Chiaia was nearly on the verge of a breakdown wondering about the consequences. A stark comparison to Lashara who was deeply enjoying the mundane set of events.

Stiffling his sigh he opened the tatami door as he said quietly " I left a set of... my clothes inside. It's my only ones... so please bare with it...for now." as he left leaving them to their own business.

Walking inside they saw the steaming baths as they looked a bit suprised wondering if he made such fine bamboo baths himself.

Lashara looking at the clothes he left walked over to them picking up the smaller set as she took on a deadpan at the orange jacket and pants.

Chiaia wasn't to far off looking at the somewhat different larger version of the tracksuit set.

Though she did realize these pants were the full version of the rip set he wore.

And wasn't that just another dose of embarrassment.

Glancing at each other they both sighed but said nothing as they stripped getting inside the baths.

Testing a single foot Chiaia quivered at the sensation breathing lowly.

Sinking down low shivering Chiaia could not stop the sound even if she tried "Hya~" moaning at the oh so pleasant sting of heat on her skin as she sunked down losing herself at the feeling.

'This is way too good! What did he put in this water?!' She thought blissing out for a second at the pure ecstasy.

"Muuuu..." she looked blankly at the ceiling feeling most of her worries drain away.

Seriously she could feel every nerve in her body twitching in response to it as she tried to keep a steady mind.

As she slowly came to, she caught herself freezing as she sank down red-faced.

Her head creaking as she shakily turned it she shrank when she saw the next bathroom occupant.

And low and behold Lashara had both hands on the side of her face leaning on the top as she smiled wickedly looking at her bodyguard losing herself to pleasure.

She herself had nearly done so only the rather obsene moan getting her to resist, the temptation to tease to strong.

"For someone who was so adamant in not partaking in this you sure are enjoying yourself huh?" She said mischievously copying the earlier sound.

"Of course I understand the feeling but you shouldn't be so stubborn when you clearly need something. That's not a good trait Chiaia.~" She said smilling sinking into her own bath.

Honestly this bodyguard of hers took herself so seriously but it seems the body was always honest to its desires.

Face red and not just from the heat Chiaia decided ignoring her was the only way to keep the final shred of dignity she had in this place as she washed herself silently.

Busying themselves with cleaning Lashara asked the question they were both avoiding.

"How will we get back to the Swan? Or contact the holy land?" She said towards Chiaia slowing her movement.

Chiaia looked down shaking her head. She had no clue how to contact them or anyone else really and she doubted their host had any kind of communication all the way out here.

Sighing leaning back Lashara bit her lips in contemplation. She had not the slightest clue how to make their way back and she truly did not want to rely again on their host...

'What a conundrum. We can only hope they come back looking and be on the look out to spot them.' She thought shaking away the thoughts.

"Perhaps some sleep will give us some ideas Chiaia? " She said getting out of the bath taking a pelt on the counter to dry herself.

Chiaia nodded getting out immediately covering herself was a bit disgruntled at how at ease she was at being naked with a man so close.

Sighing she decided it wasn't worth bringing up as she clearly did not care that much about it.

Looking towards the clothing, she hestiated raising a shaky hand before trying to put on the black shirt, stopping feeling the tightness against her chest.

Resting it down she put on the jacket zipping it up slowly.

Looking down she saw it was able to cover her down to her upper thighs, the baggy jacket able to hide her chest.

Looking at the loose black sleeve she instinctively brought it to her nose sniffing bringing it down a bit disappointed to smell nothing.

Though she sucked in a startled breath soon after.

"Hmm~" Lashara hummed aloud to the suddenly pale straight back red head in amusement watching the entire scene like a hawk.

Smilling she decided not to pursue...for now as she picked up her own set.

Ignoring Chiaia who was clearly waiting for a reaction she put on the shirt and jacket herself zipping it up.

Looking towards the pants she grimaced wishing her jacket was longer so she could forgo it. Alas.

Pulling it up and tying it with the belt she glanced at Chiaia doing the same.

"Uzumaki san...has quite some taste." She said looking at Chiaia as she did the same.

"Ah yes. Orange. Quite a intresting color." Chiaia said in response grimacing not wanting to disrespect someone who helped them no matter her thoughts.

Folding both her Queen and her own clothing she carried them with her as she followed Lashara back to their room.

Resting them down she took her pelts seeing Lashara do the same on the wooden bed frame.

Getting comfortable she looked up sighing trying to unwind to get some rest knowing it was essential.

"Good night Lashara sama."

"Mhm. Good night Chiaia ."

Waking silently, breathing even Naruto glanced outside seeing it was the crack of dawn.

Sitting up on his bed ignoring the pain in his body, Naruto glanced around a bit before picking up the wooden cup of water downing it.

Gulping it he rested it down before getting into standard meditation postion.

Take a deep calming breath he squinted at the stinging pain as he drew in the mysterious energy from this place to combine it with his chakra to enter sage mode.

Feeling around for the damage he frowned before shaking his head sighing.

Glancing at the pictures on his desk he peered for a bit before turning his attention away.

Getting up smilling at the pain fleeting he made the bed up picking up his geta before walking down the short hall bare foot.

Stopping by the next room he listened hearing the 2 snores one gentle and the other rather...

Snorting he made his way down bringing a basket with him knowing he had to feed more than hinself.

'Might as well get started early.' He thought deciding to be proactive today.

Opening and closing the door silently he slipped on his geta as he made his way to the stream he discovered a bit of ways from here.

'3 years in this place.. I nearly forgot what it was like talking to people' He thought shaking his head looking up at the peak of sun shinning through.

Opening and closing the door silently he slipped on his geta as he made his way to the stream he discovered a bit of ways from here.

He would rather not to be honest. Being in this forest while he wouldn't exactly call it comfortable had grown on him quite a bit.

He didn't think he'd enjoy going near any populated city. That wasn't even considering he didn't know much about this place at all.

Or the fact he would clearly be different from them all.

Glancing around forest stopping his musings he went to a nearby bush picking some berries he recognized on his way down. Deciding it was better to get variety than anything else.

Stopping in front of the stream he pulled out 3 kunai launching them in pinning 3 fishes as they struggled for a second before floating up.

Wading through the water he put the basket on top of his head balancing it as he stringed the 3 fish together leaving the stream.

Turning back deciding he had enough he glanced up something catching his eye.

Eyes widening at seeing the smoke his breathing became a bit uneven knowing where it came from.

Speeding up quickly hoping that he was wrong he dashed to his house quickly arriving into the clearing jumping over the wall he as he stopped.

Looking down at the destroyed house he took a deep calming breath trying to keep composed.

Walking into the rubble he dug for a bit trying to find what he was looking for.

It would be 5 minutes later when he did so the destroyed item shattering any hope he had.

Picking up the scroll with shaking hands he looked down at his last bastion against the despair this place brought him.

'Why? I stayed away for so long. I never made any trouble here. So why would you do this?' He thought blankly looking down at his last connection to his friends and family.

Glancing at the large foot steps akin to a monster he frowned deeply seeing 2 pairs of human sets as well.

"I see. So it was the...'bandits' they told me about.." He said chuckling to himself in self hatred.

The one time he went out of his way to help another, it fucked him over and he had no one to blame but himself.

Getting up breathing in and out he placed the scroll down biting his lips trying to stop the sheer anger from overwhelming him.

Slowly following the monsters footsteps he slowly gained speed as his thoughts got louder and louder.

His feet leaving cracks and imprints each time he lept foward, trees shaking from the intensity at the stomps, his mind gradually became bereft of all tangled thoughts, as they settled to one consolidated point.

Uttering something no one would ever think to hear from him lowly.

"I'm going to murder you."

Kenshi Masaki piloted his white Seikijin easily evading the trees as he tried to return back to base after capturing the target.

He didn't have it in him to kill them so he hoped he could convince them to leave them alive before they sent him home.

'Ah home! I can't wait to see my sisters again! I bet they've missed me!' He thought smilling happy at going back.

The man he was working for had promised him a way to get back so long as he completed this mission and Kenshi couldn't deny the allure, not liking this place at all.

Glancing at the two girls in his Seikijin's hands he could only apologize silently for being selfish as he watched them struggle in futility .

'I'm sorry! But I have to get home! ' He thought feeling guilty.

'Wait! My sis is super smart! I'm sure if I ask she can help me save them right?!' He thought smilling as he sped up at the thought.

Completely and utterly coping to avoid the responsibility.

Nodding resolute he made his decision taking one last glance at them before turning his head straight foward.

Looking around feeling a bit weird he stopped for a second glancing down at the silent forest feeling a bit feint at the sickness he had.

"I was sure I saw something?" He said aloud looking down below before shrugging moving.

However he stopped when he realized the girls he caught were missing as he immediately panicked looking around in terror.

"What! I just had them in my fist how could they leave!" He said turning his Seikishi around 360 degrees trying to find them.

Immediately diving into the forest he began zooming through trying to find them as he back tracked.

"Where! Where! Where?!" He said turning the white Seikishi head around frantically.

However his human spined froze in terror as he quickly turned around pulling out his Seikijin's sword clashing with the fist that targeted the mech's chest cavity or otherwise the cockpit he was piloting.

Trying to get a glance at whatever it was he was unable to, feeling like a brick hit him as the Seikijin took a hit to the back.

Crashing into the tree breaking it and multiple others he barely was able to use his tail to maneuver away from the giant rock that targeted where he was before.

Quickly trying to fly away into the sky as he realized the enemy was small and used it against him in the forest terrain. Kenshi was pulled back down hard as he was implanted into the ground, leaving a crater.

Coughing at the impact glancing to the side his eyes widened as he said " Such a little wire?!" Seeing the black material on his Seikijin's arm.

About to cut it he was unable to, as he was pulled into the forest via a massive amount of strength, destroying many trees, ripping up the ground and his Seikijin on the way there.

Barely looking up at the fast turn of events he could only watch a massive ball of blue light clearly waiting for him as he closed his eyes thinking.

'I only wanted to go home!'

And right before the impact he was teleported out and dumped somewhere.

Rubbing his head looking around his eyes widened seeing he was in his old bed at home before asking " Was that a dream?!"

Glancing down with bland eyes Naruto felt no satisfaction.

Only creeping anger at letting feelings lead him by the nose.

The strange machinery he only now knew, had half it's chest burried into the ground completely sunken in by his attack.

While he knew not what the strange energy was permeating the planet, he could still tell when a large amount of said energy shifted. Especially if it was right infront of him.

And right before caving in it's chest he felt a lot of energy leaving as if teleporting.

Instantly. Perhaps even faster than the blink of a eye. He couldn't even begin to stop it if he wanted.

'That means the culprit got away and I don't even know their face.' He thought balling his hand into a fist stopping at the pain.

'That's no good.' He thought breathing out in silence.

No he was agitated and had on how to resolve these feelings after working himself up in such a tizzy.

Looking down at the enemy he fought glad he ambushed it before it took to the skies, he glanced to the side saying "Come out you two."

He had plucked them out of the machine's hands and set them down to the side. It wouldn't be strange if they were still there.

He could actually feel the flinch even if this place messed with his senses.

Waiting for a second seeing them come out he glanced away at the looks in their eyes and their shaking bodies scowling down as he immediately likened them to back home.

'I thought I got away from those here...'

Lashara looking shakily down to the Seikijin and back to the clear human from behind Chiaia who was guarding her, wondered if she was seeing things.

This couldn't be possible right? Humans couldn't beat Seikijin could they?!

Not even in history did she hear something so absurd happening!

Chiaia herself was more than a bit spooked at the superhuman display. Though she did look at the string trick he used in a bit of suprise wondering if she could emulate it.

Seeing both her and Lashara spooked looking at him, he smacked his lips feeling disheartened.

'I can't blame them for how they feel' and though he thought that he still felt a sad at the reaction.

Looking up he glanced blandly at the green machine that landed before them watching to make sure it was friendly as the darker skinned lady came out kneeling before Lashara.

Glancing at the ears and hair in deep and utter wonder he turned around dragging his feet back home.

Looking at the rubble he sorted through it putting his scroll aside as he tried to salvage anything with meaning to him.

Head down his ears perked up hearing the footsteps recognizing it as Lashara and another unknown. Presumably the dark skin lady.

Not looking having something far more important to do he simply said "Friend...of yours?"

Lashara jumping a bit at being addressed by him, got Aura's concerned look before she waved her off reassuring her.

Looking towards the powerful teenager she took a nervous breath before answering " She is. And Naruto? Thank you for helping us. We should be able to get back home now."

Glancing at his back in apprehension, she awaited his response as her mind went a mile a minute trying to figure out the last scene.

It was simply too mythical, and she was loathed to leave it unsolved.

"That's good... you can leave...now. Please don't come...back." He said blandly taking a shirt and wrapping his items in it. Or what was left anyway.

Though he did wince a tad realizing the callousness in his words, as he left with no real direction or mood to socialize.

Swallowing Lashara did not follow turning away as she glanced back at his departing back leaving in sadness.

Bitting her lips she took a deep breath trying to figure out exactly what to do at the anomaly.

Realizing now that perhaps her earlier actions alienated him she smacked her lips despondent at hurting him albeit unintentionally.

Feeling awful but still having to do her duty she said" Aura please bring the white Seikijin with you. Let's get back to the Swan to reassure everyone of my safety."

'I have to get everything in order before even unpacking a bit off this.' She thought deciding bringing together her forces would help resolve this issue.

Aura nodding looking at her Queen's departing back glanced back at the young man who radiated Ahou in a daze before composing herself as best as she could following reluctant to leave such a thing alone.

Night having already descended Naruto fiddled with the scroll as he tried to drown out the annoying crickets ringing in his ears wishing he could kill them.

They were keeping him up and while he had been able to ignore such things before, he was too agitated right now.

Taking temporary residence in a tree until he decided where to grow his next house he blinked back the tears as he came to the unfortunate realization that he was stuck here.

This wasn't something new he discovered of course. But it certainly was something he couldn't hide from now with the scroll invalid.

It had been nearly 3 years since he came here and a bit over 1 year since he last had contact from anyone from Mount Myōboku.

It had been hard at first appearing in this forest and the first thing he tried was using summoning jutsu failing at that.

And so for days on end he tried surviving with some success before trying again using the scroll successfully summoning both Ma and Pa.

After confirming his safety they had been teaching him ways to survive as they tried to get him back home. Making sure to instill in him not to go out as they knew not what lied beyond the forest.

Taking their word for it as they trained him, they also brought him little things they could to help make his life tolerable.

After successfully picking up sage mode they had left and never coming back before another toad took their place.

And that cycle repeated again and again until one day he did not hear from them again.

Knowing in his heart what happened but still in disbelief at them more than likely being killed he simply waited hoping it wasn't true.

He had only picked up on their rushed behavior only after they had left. Hindsight was a bitch.

'Guess there's no more running huh? ' He thought despondent dropping the scroll remnants out of the tree simply tired of everything.

And on top of that he was know missing the happiness the brief companionship gave him.

Putting a arm over his face trying to ignore the constant pains aching him as he resisted whatever was happening to him, he could only try to go to sleep in hope of tommorow being better.

Sniffling realizing he caught a cold he could sigh out "Great.. just..great. ."

What was he supposed to do now in this god awful place?

Watched the series while I'm still recovering and thought it was pretty fun.

While it won't win any awards it did entertain me quite a bit.

Not proof read.
