Chapter 33
(Feb. 16, 2006, 10:24pm Central US time, Chicago, Illinois)
Professor Dementor, along with seven henchmen and seven henchwomen, went to an dark and abandoned factory on the west side of Chicago. They were ready to receive the IRCH Miss Larceny in exchange for a massive pay-day.
"Amy, are you sure zis is ze right place for ze helmet transfer?" Dementor asked one of his henchwomen. "Ze real recipient needs it vithin 24 hours!"
"I am positive, Professor, that this is the one." Amy replied. "She texted me not more than 10 minutes ago."
"Vundebar!" Dementor exclaimed, "Und and ve are going to be $4 million richer and closer to funding mein ultimate machine of doom!"
"Excellent!" Amy added, "And you got us, your henchpeople, that are among the best in the business!"
"Ja, ja I do!" Dementor remarked, "Und their Chicago-style pizza is so good!"
Myron, by far the least competent henchperson within Dementor's ranks, agreed. He was holding a pizza box.
"Oh yes, boss! It is so good!" he replied while taking a slice. He and a couple of the henchpeople managed to finish off the remainder of the pizza, which they bought earlier.
"To mein recollection, mein henchpeople..." Dementor said, "...did you pay vith cash or credit card?"
"I, and most of the henchpeople here paid with cash," Amy replied, "As is your policy!"
"Good...good..." Dementor replied before staring at Myron hard. "Und you, Myron!"
"Uhhhhhh...I actually paid with a credit card?" Myron replied, giving obviously the wrong answer.
"Myron...is it just mein imagination or are you just a stupid GOOD FOR NOTHING DUMMBKOPF!?"
Dementor shouted this out loud for everyone in the abandoned factory to hear.
"Um, Professor, shouldn't you use an indoor voice?" Amy suggest.
"Oh...my bad." Dementor remarked, "It's just zat with all these security measures I have taken, I have to be one step ahead of Fraulein Possible...und ze boy whose name constantly escapes me! Und if it veren't for mein incompetent brother-in-law, ve vould have made ze exchange by now!"
"But I had no money in my wallet!" Myron whined, "I had no other method of payment!"
Dementor sighed, "If it veren't for Hildegarde, you vould have been in ze UNEMPLOYMENT LINE!"
"Again, Professor...we don't want to attract the attention of Team Possible!" Amy insisted.
"You're right, Amy!" Dementor replied while throwing the pizza box to the side, "It is best zat we make ze transfer without getting Fraulein Possible's attention."
"Understood on that front and..." Amy began but her speech was interrupted with a sudden sound.
Dementor heard it too.
"Henchpeople! Prepare ze staffs!" the Professor exclaimed.
All of Dementor's henchmen and henchwomen that were present took out their electro-staffs. They were similar to that of Drakken's but they glowed green, similar to Shego's green glow.
A female figure with a green hood then came under the green glow of the staffs. She was also carrying a backpack on her back.
"Professor, you should be careful with these toys from your henchpeople." the figure replied, "They may poke someone eye out."
The Professor exclaimed with a sigh of relief "Ahhh, ja...I recognize ze voice! Grace Larceny!"
Turning to his henchpeople, he added, "Lower your weapons!"
The henchpeople did so, turning off their staffs.
"I am glad that you made it here, Professor." Grace replied. "At this time of a cold Chicago night."
"Ja, I know it is getting late too, but ve need to be quick." Dementor replied, "Vun of mein henchpeople does not know how to use cash to PAY FOR PIZZA!" He exclaimed the last three words out loud.
"Professor, mind your voice please?" Grace insisted.
"Oh right." Dementor said, realizing his mistake. "Anyways, do you have ze helmet, even though I do not plan to use it myself?"
"Ah, yes, for your intended client." Grace said, "It's too bad that my younger sister, Patty, could not be here this evening. She has to deal with Carmen."
She then put down the backpack containing the IRCH.
"Vhatever ze case may be, Fraulein Larceny!" Dementor replied, "I too have to deal with ze incompetent brother-in-law of mine."
Myron hung his head in shame.
He snapped his fingers and two of his henchmen brought out four briefcases, each filled with $500,000 in cold-hard Benjamins.
"Two million reasons vhy I vould not try to take a vacation with you to ze Caribbean to escape ze vinters of Bavaria." Dementor said as the henchmen brought the suitcases before Grace snapped her fingers as well. As it turned out, she did buy some of HenchCo's henchmen, six of them, to be exact. Like with Dementor's henchmen, they too had four steel briefcases filled with $1 million each in cash.
Dementor was about to get to the IRCH when all of a sudden, the villains were not alone.
"You know, Dementor, you shouldn't take things that do not belong to you!"
"Zat voice...I vould recognize it anyverse else!"
Grace threw on the switch to activate the electricity of the factory and there stood Kim and Ron on a ledge.
"Oh man! The light's just blinding my eyes!" Ron complained, rubbing his pupils.
Dementor gasped, "Fraulein Possible!"
And then he turned his attention to Ron, "Un ze sidekick whose name continues to elude me!"
"Seriously, Dementor?" Ron groaned, "Man...you are about as bad as Drakken is at remembering my name!"
"But how did you find us here, Miss Possible?" Grace questioned, "This area was supposed to be a secret!"
"Simple. One of Dementor's henchmen..." Kim smirked, looking at Myron, "...used a credit card to buy a Chicago-style pizza four blocks from this very warehouse! And we traced it from there to here!"
"You can't go wrong with their hot dogs either, KP!" Ron chimed in. "Though they are lacking in mustard choices."
"Mmm...hot dog!" Rufus added in, eating a mini-Chicago-style hotdog with nacho cheese.
"I just so had to be low on cash!" Myron complained.
"Zat is ze reason vhy I instituted ze NO CREDIT CARD POLICY!" Dementor exclaimed "Vhile ve are on business!"
"Step away from the helmet, Dementor!" Kim demanded. "And please, indoor voice!"
"No, I vill not remove MEIN HELMET!" Dementor exclaimed.
"I'm not talking about your helmet." Kim sighed, "I'm talking about the insect helmet!"
"Oh zat vun! Of couse, you cannot have it! Even though I do not intend to use it!" Dementor said, taking the backpack containing the helmet. "Mein henchpeople, distract Frauline Possible! I vill take care of ze money transfer!"
All of the henchwomen and two of the henchmen headed towards Kim while the remainder of the henchmen went for Ron.
"Ron, you distract Dementor and grab the helmet in the backpack. I'll take care of his henchmen."
Grace grinned, "Oh, Miss Possible, you didn't forget my henchmen, did you?" She snapped her fingers at the HenchCo henchmen.
"Henchmen, distract Team Possible!"
Kim, of course, began to use her cheer skills, using various flips and kicks to knock out both the henchmen and henchwomen. Ron was flapping his arms around and screaming while both Dementor's and Grace's bought HenchCo henchmen were being knocked out.
"Ach...even vith ze best henchmen in ze business...zhey cannot take down zat sidekick."
Dementor muttered while turning to Grace.
"Now...ze rest of ze money!" the Professor insisted.
Grace quickly gave him the other two briefcases containing the money.
"Go, Professor, before the authorities arrive!" Grace insisted.
"Ja, you don't have to tell me twice!" Dementor exclaimed, holding both the briefcases and the helmet.
Kim managed to knock out two of the four henchwomen and four of the ten combined henchmen. Ron, in the meantime, also assisted in the knocking out of two henchmen. Myron was not among the knocked-out henchmen.
They then began to hear the sirens coming.
"Looks like it is time for us to leave!" Grace replied.
"You're not going anywhere, Dementor!" Kim yelled.
Dementor said, "Ja, yes. Ve have a flight to catch!" He smiled, taking out four smoke bombs. The remaining henchpeople went with Dementor.
"Auf Wiedersehen! Ve vill meet again, Fraulein Possible!" Dementor proclaimed, throwing the smoke bombs onto the floor of the warehouse. It covered the area in smoke.
Kim and Ron ran up, but by the time the smoke cleared, Dementor, Grace, and the remainder of the henchpeople were gone.
"Ugh...this is so the drama!" Kim complained. "I hate it when the villains escape."
"But look on the bright side, KP." Ron said, pointing out to the knocked henchpeople, "At least we can try and get something out of them when the police arrest them."
"Hopefully so." Kim said, "Now we need to get home! GJ's got their hovercraft ready."
