Hey guys thanks for waiting after all I have been writing a lot of big story chapters for many stories so for the moment I decided to upload this chapter since I was in a Star Wars mood I was glad to get this done and dusted on with the story enjoy!
Lamperouge Residence
After returning home and changing back into his civilian clothes on the Falcon, a tired Lelouch made his way towards the door of the dining room. Nunnally had to be waiting, and he had already missed dinner with her.
"I'm back," Lelouch said as he entered the room. "Ah welcome home, Lelouch."
Lelouch stopped in his tracks. That was not Nunnally's voice. And it wasn't Sayoko's. He looked up to see the scene before him. Nunnally was at the table folding her origami and sitting right next to her folding the coloured paper was her. She had been trapped in a capsule thought to have been a chemical weapon. She had been shot in the head with a bullet. She was the same girl who had given him the power of the king on that fateful day.
Sitting right next to Nunnally, still wearing the straitjacket, and looking up at him with golden eyes... was the same green-haired girl from Shinjuku. The one Clovis had ordered genocide to get back.
Lelouch blinked again. He was... he felt like staring at a ghost. "I'm so glad, I was worried," Nunnally smiled.
"I assume you had dinner out tonight judging by your appearance," The girl said as she put down a blue paper crane.
"Thank goodness!" Nunnally said, looking relieved. "I was worried you got caught by the uproar caused by those two men. Zero and Luke Skywalker. I wanted to tell you Miss C.C. has been waiting for you as well."
That made Lelouch gasp. "C.C?" Nunnally giggled. "Your friend goes by such an unusual name. Only her initials."
"Yeah," Lelouch said, unsure what to even say. "I guess so..." "I was wondering is C.C. your girlfriend?"
"Huh?" "He made a promise about our future together," C.C. said, glancing at Lelouch. "Right?"
"Huh?!" Lelouch baulked back. "A future together?" Nunnally looked confused. "You mean like marriage?"
"No!" Lelouch said, not liking his sister getting the wrong idea. "That isn't what she was talking about. It's like... uh... she's kidding around."
"No, I'm not," C.C. insisted. Nunnally looked away, almost a bit surprised. "Well, you're certainly doing this sooner than most, but everyone's different aren't they. So, I suppose it doesn't feel that strange, and if you feel like you're ready to..."
BREAK!
Nunnally gasped at the sound of a teacup breaking on the floor.
"Oh, C.C. look what you've done. You're soaking wet. C'mon, let's get you into the bathroom into a dry change of clothes." She heard Lelouch say and sounded like he was taking C.C. out of her seat and out of the room. "And she was kidding before. Kidding. Just a dumb joke, that's all."
Nunnally was now left alone, still utterly confused.
Lelouch threw CC into the bed and said, folding his arms, as he glared at the girl "Talk who are you!"
She said my name," The green-haired girl said, almost sounding mellow. "I'm C.C."
"That's not what I meant," Lelouch narrowed his eyes. "Why aren't you—"
"Supposed to be dead?" C.C. said, interrupting Lelouch. "Tell me, do you like the power that I gave you?"
"As I thought...it was you." "Dissatisfied?" C.C. sat on his bed.
"On the contrary, I'm grateful. It allows me to speed up my schedule tremendously, which is a huge help." Lelouch declared to her, shaking his head.
"Your schedule?"
"Yes," Lelouch smiled. "My schedule for obliterating Britannia. I would have had to wait much longer before I could have made the initial move on the other hand; however, it also spawned unexpected complications as well."
"You speak of your new friend? The blonde boy with the magic sword? Luke?" She asked.
"As much as I did not expect the cooperation of my newest comrades...I'm truly grateful to them as I am to you for the aid they have provided me. Like me they despise the tyranny of Imperial rule. Even so...I would have done this alone if I'd had to...I'm not foolish to place my trust so easily on others I have just met."
At that C.C. lied on her back on the bed, and she looked up to the ceiling. "I just knew you'd turn out to be a fascinating guy not like him he was much different."
Lelouch raised an eyebrow. Was she talking sarcasm or was she talking to herself? "What will you do now?" He asked. "I'm sure the military is after you. After what Clovis did to Shinjuku..."
"Not the entire military, just a small fraction of it. So, it shouldn't be difficult to find a hiding place. I can make do here." With that she started to unzip the straitjacket off, starting to pull down her bare shoulders...
"Dah!" Lelouch instantly turned away. "What are you doing?!"
"How gentleman you," C.C. mused, and Lelouch heard her discard the last of clothing away. "Having some modesty for a lady."
He then heard her sliding into the sheets of his bed. "What?! That's my bed?!" She raised the covers over her. "So... it's been a while since I slept in one. And I think a gentleman would sleep on the floor."
"Don't joke around," Lelouch said with a stamp mark on his forehead.
"Me being caught would cause trouble for you, too. And besides, it's dangerous to stay together. If I wander the streets, they'll find me."
"This isn't about you. It's my situation." Lelouch said "I hate stubbornness." She turned to the other side.
"You sure take things casually," Lelouch said and went to pick up her discarded clothes but wanted answers. "How did you manage to survive before this? What did you do before now? And what's the deal with that so-called contract-" But however got interrupted
"Good night, Lelouch." She said before willing herself to sleep.
Lelouch sighed. This was another matter entirely. Something Luke and the others needed to know about. She couldn't stay here. With how Clovis destroyed Shinjuku, there was no doubt the Britannian Military or at least a part of it may be desperate to find her. That would mean bad news not only for him and the rebels but also for Nunnally.
He'll have to figure it out in the morning as he heads off to sleep on the couch.
The next morning Maya and Lilly the sisters were watching the news as they were talking about Zero and Skywalker.
"Goodness seems like Luke and his masked friend are causing such a ruckus!" Lily giggled as she smiled. "Either way this is useful to us now that we have learned that Luke's allies are seeking allies against the Britannia Empire and their allies." Clarice smiled before it became a worried look. "But still I can't help but worry about this other Empire that might be coming to our planet if Luke's friends could get here so could they."
Maya then said. "It'll be okay Clarice, I have my big sister who's a Jedi Knight to watch my back out there all the time." Lily smiled at that comment. "Speaking of time, didn't you say you had work today?" Clarice gasped before grabbing things.
"Oh shit! I do thank you for reminding me I guess that's what happens when your busy with other stuff. Breakfast is all cooked, just need to cook in the microwave and I'll be-" As Maya then came over.
"Clarice we'll be alright, good luck out there." Clarice smiled as stress left her mind before looking at them. "Well alright be safe today and enjoy being at the student council Maya." as she left the two sisters to their own devices.
Karre was in the hanger bay of the Royal Regime headquarters as many ships are seen in the background as the acolyte was with his older sister Am.
Karre is also seen wearing not his armour but casual clothes instead of his armour a black leather jacket adorned with military-esque cords, zippers, and belts. Underneath he wears a long-sleeved white shirt with frilled cuffs and a cravat. He wore a pair of cropped black gloves and pants that resemble sleek biker pants with built-in knee-pads and multiple fastening belts. His shoes are black with two buckles.
"I see and you're sure you do not wish to stay here and help us solve our little Zero mystery?" Asked Am as Karre shook his head. "No can do, dear sister. I'm afraid something has caught my attention and it cannot be ignored. After all, I did promise I would meet up with Euphemia. It's been a while since I saw her in months or was it weeks?"
Am folds her arms. "Regardless, I'll save you the trouble and come to you." Karre nodded to see his vehicle of transport; it appeared to almost look like a Jedi starfighter from the old Republic coloured red and black.
Right as an officer was placing Karre's Astromech droid, a power coupling looking droid named R-Duo into the droid compartment to Karre's starship.
"Good to see you again, old buddy!" Karre smiled at the droid who beeps in joy to see him as he jumped into the ship. As the podium holding the ship began rising up as Karre gave one last wave to his sister who waved back before leaving the hangar bay.
Once the ship had reached surface level Karre's ship flew off to it's destination.
Am picked up a table and began checking though millions of people in area 11 for a match on Zero's identity before.
"3 million gigabytes of data and none of it even a tad bit useful to the cause of finding our enemies!" Shouted Shin tossing the tablet away at the useless information as Am dodged it with ease.
Argos then said as he entered the room. "Indeed this Skywalker and his companion Zero have made quite a splash around the planet and have announced they are working with Lop & Asami no doubt about it. In fact I think this was even bigger when our two little Jedi friends showed up on the planet!"
Julius then said almost amused on what Zero did back there as his two apprentices stood in the shadows.
"And it looks like the reputation of Jeremiah is tearing itself apart even the Purebloods are about to fight with each other!"
Am on the other hand had her own investigation going on as she still wondered why the former Margrave had a small smirk on his face why was he so pleased with Clovis's death as she was the only one who saw it. What was he hiding from the Empire of Britannia? A hidden agenda or was it a grudge?
Argos then said to Am as he looked at her. "Say Am where's Karre?"
Am snapping out of her thoughts then said with a bow. "Apologies Master but Karre went to go and pay a visit to Princess Euphemia Li Britanania!"
Julius then stops what he was doing with a small smile on his face knowing who Am was speaking of. "Ah yes little Euphie now that's a name I have never heard in quite some time!"
Elsewhere in the Tokyo settlement Karre's starfighter had landed in the settlement on a helipad as Just then Karre heard a beeping noise coming from none other than his companion droid R-Duo who jumped out of the compartment he was stored in.
"Let's go R-Duo we don't wanna keep Euphie waiting!" The droid beeped in agreement as it followed its master
Karre then sees a young woman wearing a fancy dress around his age who bore long bright pink hair, cream skin, and shining purple eyes. Appeared to be helping an elderly woman as she waved goodbye to her with a smile on her face
Karre then shouted to the woman to get her attention. "Euphie!" The now identified Euphie then sees Karre and says with a smile on her face.
"Karre!" She laughed in joy as she hugged the boy as Karre returned the hug to her. She then hears the beeps of R-Duo Euphie as she looks at the droid which rolled over to her and pats its head. "And hello to you R-Duo you are still keeping Karre out of trouble and danger?"
R-duo chirped in agreement even jumping up and down in happiness to see her again like a happy puppy reunited with its owner.
Karre chuckled at the reunion. "Guess R-Duo missed you the most!" Euphie giggled in agreement before either of them could say anything a voice shrieked excitedly as Karre and Euphie see a group of fans well Karre's fans taking pictures,
"OMG it's Karre of the Royal Regime!" "And he's wearing that one outfit, Lio Fotia wears in that anime!" The crowd cheered.
"Ah man I thought I lost them!" Karre said with a sweet drop seeing them again Euphie chuckled nervously. "Friends of yours?" "Nope, just some fans who like me run!"
Case Number 107: Private Suzaku Kururugi, Area 11 Military Forces. In the murder of His Highness Prince Clovis, you are no longer a suspect and hereby set free due to lack of evidence."
Those were the words the judge said and with that Suzaku was acquitted. Acquitted when only 24 hours ago he apparently stood no chance and was ready to be executed. To think about, it was all thanks to Zero and Skywalker calling out on the Pureblood's scheme and them admitting themselves to be Clovis's true killers that the evidence against him was false.
Now Suzaku wore his civilians clothes, now carrying his sack of belongings, now walking out of the courthouse a freeman
Suzaku then said to himself What now?
"Out of the way, please!" He heard a feminine voice cry out, and realised it was coming from above. "Look out below!" His eyes widened to see Euphie and Karre falling as the man caught Euphie while Karre landed acrobatic like while R-Duo was using his jets to fly down
He then got a look at them and said "Are...Are you alright?"
"I'm sorry!" The young lady apologised. "I wasn't aware you were down here until I had leaped!"
Karre sighed and said choosing his words carefully "If it helps she was following my lead we were trying to out some bad people!" Euphie nodded in agreement
As they began walk though settlement as Euphie then said to Suzaku
We haven't introduced ourselves yet, have we?" The pink-haired girl said as she and Suzaku continued walking through the Settlement. "My name is..." She paused a bit before saying her name to him. "Euphie!"
"Euphie?" Suzaku said. "Yes!" Karre then said "And I'm Karre and this is my droid companion R-Duo!"
The droid beeped in joy to the young "My name is..." Suzaku was about to say. Until Karre was quick on the draw. "Suzaku Kururugi!" Suzaku was surprised as Karre said with a bit of honesty in his voice
"I was at your execution the other night there was so much going on we didn't have time to even meet." Suzaku smiled and then said.
"It's okay Karre!"
"Meow!" Suddenly Karre and Suzaku's attention changed to Euphie now kneeling in front of a stray cat.
The cat had dark fur, and a darker spot over one of its yellow eyes. The cat seemed to raise its right paw, and it looked to be limping.
"Meow, meow! Aw, does the kitty's paw hurt?" The cat hissed at first, but Euphie still leaned toward it affectionately. "Meow, meow, meow!"
The cat meowed and looked up at her. Euphie extended her hand, and the cat sniffed it, before rubbing against her soft fingers, reciprocating her kindness, causing Euphie to smile. "Meow, meow."
The scene caused Suzaku and Karre to smile and walk up as Suzaku lifted the sunglasses from his eyes. Euphie giggled as she picked up the cat and held it toward Suzaku.
Suzaku chuckled and extended his hand towards the cat. However, the cat looked at his hand for a second, before suddenly opening its mouth and biting Suzaku's finger with its teeth.
Karre winced at that while Euphie gasped.
Driving through the street, Lloyd and Cecile drove a transport, hoping to find the individual who had proven to be the perfect devicer for their project.
"We're running late," Lloyd said. "I hope he's still waiting for us."
"Considering the charge, did they really release him?" Cecile asked.
"Yes, they had no evidence," Lloyd replied. "I'm sure they put him through the third degree because of that incident with those Zero and Skywalker characters." He then noticed the window to his left Suzaku himself... walking alongside a girl who he recognized to be...
"What? Why is he...?"
Karre then said "May I?" Euphie nodded as the cat looked at Karre, gently grabbed the cat's right paw and then used the force to heal the cat's limp paw.
Karre sighed as he felt a bit of his energy fall a bit as Suzkau catches him as Euphie grabs some towel to tie up the wound for the cat.
"Thanks for catching me, Force healing does take a bit of strength out of ya!" Karre said with a weak smile. "Do you have trouble with cats?" She asked Suzaku in concern to Suzaku as Karre got back to his feet.
"Hm. I like them fine, however..." Suzaku went to extend his hand again toward the cat, who responded with a hiss. "The attraction isn't mutual." He mused.
"I think unrequited love is the mark of a kind person." Euphie stated enthusiastically, and when she said that the cat then ran away from them, causing her to pout. "Oh, the kitty ran away."
"Euphie..." Suzaku said. "Why did you tell me that lie when we met?"
"Do you ask because you're concerned about me?" "Huh? Um... of course." Suzaku replied to her
"Great to hear!" Karre R-Duo chirps as Suzaku says to Karre, unable to translate what the small droid just said. "Ah what did your friend say?" Karre chuckled and said what his droid told him. "He says he knows a lot of fun places to go, even Shinjuku!"
Ashford Academy
Lelouch sat underneath a tree outside the main building of the campus as classes had just gotten out for the day. He typed on his personal laptop, trying to find information on Suzaku when Kallen, still feigning her sickly-girl-disguise, approached him.
"Lelouch, do you have a minute?" She asked him, waving to him.
"Sure, what is it?" He addressed her as he closed the laptop and looked at the girl. "About that phone call the other day..." Kallen said.
Lelouch had a confused look until Kallen said with a blushing face "Yeah you know when you and I were in the bathroom."
"Ah, right that one." Lelouch said understanding "Can you find out what the caller ID was? I want to contact that person again." She asked.
"It was a school phone, so I don't think that..." Lelouch's eyes quickly widened as he saw something behind Kallen that made him look in complete and utter surprise.
"I see, it makes sense I should have..." Kallen didn't get a chance to finish as she saw Lelouch's shocked face and turned around behind her to see what he was seeing, which made her look equally in shock.
It was a young man with silver hair and blue eyes, he appeared to be wearing some form of straight jacket, similar to the one C.C. wore, which Lelouch noticed quickly; only it appeared to be more torn with small bits of stained blood along the sides a bit. His breath was ragged as he held onto the side of a tree before he stepped forward and fell flat on the ground.
Immediately Lelouch and Kallen ran toward him and turned him to where he was face up and they could see he was barely conscious.
"Hey, are you okay!? What happened?!" Kallen asked the stranger urgently.
He didn't say anything as he completely lost consciousness. Lelouch, though greatly shocked by this, noticed how similarly dressed he was to C.C. Was he from the same place as her? Who was this guy? Either way, he was going to find out one way or another.
Hours later Maya heard of someone ending up on campus with someone's blood and informed the others about it as everyone looked at the stranger that ended up on campus she wished she would have sticked around but she had other plans.
"Rise and shine Sleepy head." The boy looked to find that several other people his age surrounded him, the Ashford Student Council, the blonde girl known as Milly greeted him with a smile. "You all rested up?"
"I... yes... I think so." He weakly said with a small nod
"Are you okay?" Shirley asked him with concern in her voice. "Lelouch and Kallen said they found you outside before you fainted."
"Hmm..." The white haired boy was in deep thought "Who are you?" Lelouch questioned with a straightforward face. "Where did you come from?"
Before the youth could answer the question, Milly looked at him with a chastised face. "Lelouch, it's rude to ask someone a question like that without introducing ourselves first."
"To be fair, the guy was wearing a straight jacket." Rivalz commented. "Maybe he's from a mental hospital."
That caused the girl named Nina to shiver slightly. "What if he's dangerous?" He uttered.
"Come on guys, he doesn't look that dangerous." Shirley said. "Plus, he was hurt, his clothes had blood on them."
"But he doesn't appear to be bleeding." Lelouch replied. "So it might not have been his blood."
"Um, you guys do know he's right in front of us, right?" Kallen commented. "He can hear every word we're saying."
They all looked a bit awkwardly at the youth who just looked more and more confused. "Where am I?" He asked.
Molly then said. "Okay new plan! Let's start over. This is Ashford Academy, one of the most prestigious schools in Area 11. You're in the nurse's office right now. My name is Milly, my grandfather is the principal here, and this is the Student Council. The rude-black-haired-pretty-boy is Lelouch, the vice president."
Lelouch rolled his eyes at Milly's comment as she continued. "This is Shirley, Maya Rivalz, Nina, and Kallen."
"...Hello..." He nodded his head.
"So, what's your name?" Milly asked him, trying to be as polite as possible.
"My name..." The boy looked as though he was thinking quite hard as he had a completely worried look on his face. "It's Kai...N-no! Rai I can't REMEMBER!"
That took the whole group by surprise and worried for him. "You don't know your own name?" Kallen questioned in shock.
"No..." He shook his head, not really believing it himself and said with a sigh.
"Really? Is there anything you remember?" Rivalz asked. "Like maybe a home address?" "Your parents? Someone you live with?" Shirley asked as well.
"Are you an Eleven...?" Nina asked timidly the boy shook his head once more. "I don't know... I don't know anything. All I remember is just...Waking up here. But that's about it."
The entire Student Council looked at him in both surprise and sympathy, even Kallen was sympathetic toward this situation. Lelouch, while he did have sympathy towards this amnesiac person, he also looked in contemplation too.
"His straightjacket was the same one C.C. wore. Is he like her? Does she know who he is? I'll ask her when I return to the Falcon after this." He thought to himself
"Hey, tell you what." Milly told the white-haired-youth. "Until we figure it out, you can stay here." That took him by surprise, along with the rest of the Student Council.
"Seriously Madam Prez?" Rivalz asked. "Well duh, we can't just let him out back into the streets." Milly said.
"Yeah... but what if he's dangerous..." Nina uttered in worry.
"Come on, he doesn't look that dangerous to me." Shirley said with a smile as she turned to the amnesiac youth. "You can stay here as long as you want." "I... I don't know what to say..." The boy said in surprise
"Eh don't worry about it." Rivalz gave him a friendly smile. "Are you sure this is okay though?" Kallen asked Milly.
"I'll talk with my grandfather and he'll understand." The blonde began to explain. "He may have to be enrolled as a student, but I'm sure it'll be fine."
"Well if he's gonna attend the school we're gonna have to give him a name." Shirley said. "You said 'Rai' when you tried to remember yours. I kinda like Rai."
Lelouch smirked a bit likening the name. "In Japanese, the word 'Rai' is translated to lightning."
"Oooh, I really like that." Rivalz smirked. Kallen suppressed her own smirk as the name did sound kinda catchy. Milly turned to the white-haired boy.
"So, what do you think?" Milly asked. "It's what people are gonna call you and if you don't like it..."
"I... I actually like it." He gave a weak smile. "Yeah... Rai it is then."
"Well then Rai, welcome to Ashford Academy." Milly greeted proudly with both her hands on her hips.
"So, where's he going to stay?" Kallen asked.
"He can stay at the Clubhouse with me and Nunnally." Lelouch said, offering him a place to chill.
"I found him, it's only fair I give him a bed to sleep on." The truth was, he could also use that to keep an eye on him. If he came from the same place as C.C., he might be able to learn more about her, and incidentally more about his Geass.
Maya had arrived at the central park of the Shinjuku ghetto as she looked at the graves with a heavy sigh.
"Hina, Mari Tomo I am sorry that I have failed you failed as your teacher in the Force and failed as a friend but wherever your soul goes I hope the Force grants us a chance to reunite in the next life. But however it was thanks to you incredible kids my sister and I have found the strength to keep moving forward and that's what I'll do and I'm for sure this isn't the right way to do a funeral but…" She shows a red origami crane even if it was a bit damaged.
"I tried my best to copy the crane you have given me Hina and I think there are a bit of mixed results as Lily said." She smiled as she placed the crane next to a grave before saying with a look of determination.
"I promise I will be a great Jedi who will save people from scum like Britannia and I will win back our freedom on that I promise with all my heart!" Once she had made her peace she then saw someone in a white hood noticing that Luke was also here.
Luke still with his hood hiding his identity looked at the destruction
It greatly pained the young Jedi's heart a great deal to know just how many innocent lives were lost that day, all the people that he couldn't save: men, women, old, and young, even children. All of this, just because Clovis made a mistake and he tried to cover it up with something like this for one person.
Luke sighed as he saw a bit of rubble and took a deep breath and tried to use the force as a bit of training rubble as it slowly began to float as Luke's hand was slowly shaking but lost his concentration when he heard a voice that was familiar to him.
"What are you doing out here Luke?" Luke gasped to see Maya walking over to her and then responded with. "Oh hi Maya I was just visiting that's all and to work on my training in the Force."
Maya then said looking at the hooded Jedi in training. "In our previous talk you mentioned you once had a master to train you but he was killed.." Luke frowns as he could still remember the last moments of Obi Wan fighting that fiend Darth Vader. "He's been protecting me since I lived with my uncle and Aunt on Tatooine before my galaxy's Empire killed them looking for Artoo and Threepio while Obi Wan was killed by Darth Vader." Maya gasped in shock to hear that Luke's family was killed by his galaxy's empire and his guardian angel was killed by the other Empire's enforcer. "And what about your mom and dad?"
Luke frowns. "I never knew them, the only ones who knew my parents were Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru and Ben." Maya then placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry for bringing this up but on the bright side you found my sister who's willing to help you train in the ways of becoming a Jedi like your father."
Luke smiled before another voice said. "The Shinjuku Ghetto, ruined again." Luke and Maya gasped to hear the voice and then hid behind large rubble and spies Suzaku, Karre and a girl with pink hair to which he never saw before also paying their respects. It was a surprise that Suzaku didn't notice them from their hiding spot, probably because Suzaku hadn't seen them yet but for the moment it was best that they stayed quiet for the time being.
"The residents were starting to return." Euphie's face was one of great sorrow. "Those news reports said that terrorists used poison gas; but there never was any gas, was there?"
"No, there wasn't." Suzaku confirmed. Karre then said looking at his friend "And you expect Clovis to be responsible for this Euphie? Something horrific..."
Luke was surprised to hear until he knew Karre, one of the people who he saw at Suzaku's execution just then the six people then noticed a group of young Britannian students, from Ashford Academy, taking pictures in front of the ruins and graves, not really caring for those who died here.
"Hey look! Those are marks from hammer rounds! Get a clear shot!" He posed in front of his friend with a camera.
"Say cheese!" He took the picture. "Okay, me next."
Luke and Karre each had the same reaction at the students as they felt disrespectful to the dead Suzaku and Euphie each felt the same sort of thing like the young Jedi and the Sith acolyte.
Maya felt violated that the students would mock the dead.
Get out of here you damn Brtitannian bastards!" Tamaki exclaimed to the two students as he, and his two friends, all three of which were rebels who are now secretly working with the rebel alliance were more than angry with them, Tamaki having slapped the camera down onto the ground.
Luke noticed this from his and Maya's hiding spot while Karre had turned one of his hands into a fist as it nearly turned white while almost growling.
Karre and Suzaku ran towards the hostile event happening as R-Duo stayed behind to watch the girl. "You rats got a lot of nerve!" Yoshida yelled. "Picking up on our misery!"
"Nerve?!" One of the students said, appalled. "You dare speak to us like that! You lowly Elevens..."
"We're NOT Elevens!" Tamaki yelled. "We're Japanese!"
"Wrong!" The other student said. "You seem to forget you people lost! You're nothing but a pack of beaten dogs!"
"Why you..." Tamaki was now boiled. "You racist pig! I'll beat you-!"
"Stop!" Suzaku stepped in between the two groups. "Please! No violence!" "Stay out of this!" Tamaki slapped Suzaku, whose sunglasses fell from his face.
Everyone froze as they recognized his face. "You're..." Tamaki froze. "Suzaku Kururugi..." Minami said.
"Prince Clovis's killer?" One of the students said. "No, it was those two terrorists who did it!" The other student corrected.
"There's no need for violence," Suzaku said. "No violence?!" Tamaki exclaimed. "Tell that to the Britannians!"
"How come you are defending them? Huh?!" Yoshida said. "After what they put you through?! After what they put us through?! What that pig Clovis did?!"
"What?!" One of the students yelled. "Oh, you got a big mouth, Eleven! It'll get you killed!"
"That's enough!" Suzaku stood his ground between the students and the rebels. "Can't you see it? These people have suffered enough, and you are basically disrespecting this memorial. If you can please understand..."
"What's there to understand?! They're all dead anyway!" The student yelled, causing Suzaku and the rebels to look appalled.
"Why you!" Tamaki was just about ready to murder the two. "You little..."
"Some Honorary Britannian you are!" The other student with the camera pointed at Suzaku. "A real Britannian would kill them on the spot. Once an Eleven, always an Eleven! Why not you go and take a swan dive off the near—"
Just then the student dropped the camera as it shattered on the ground into pieces and the student began to choke himself as all eyes were now on Karre whose eyes burned with hatred as he used the force to force choke the student in retaliation in hatred.
Maya gasped in horror as this scene almost reminded her of the Regime's invasion on her family home.
Luke on the other hand saw something different if he closed his eyes he could've seen the horrifying image of Darth Vader standing there instead of Karre even hearing his breathing.
"Hey whatever the hell you're doing to him, stop it dumbass!" The other student exclaimed as he tried to grab a pipe from off the ground but Karre overcome with rage and hate grabbed his lighter from his belt and within a second instantly slashed the other student as his upper half was separated from his body as the blood splats on his face with the other students eyes eyes faded from their eyes as Karre's red blade glowed from the cylinder that had taken the students life.
Suzaku then said, trying to snap the friend he made back to reality "Karre stop it you've proven your point to them!" Karre snarled, fixated on murder decided not to listen to him and used the force to push those away from him and the student.
"Oh shit no way in hell am I ending up on Karre's kill list after what he did to Naoto let's get outta here!" Tamaki yelled in panic as Yoshida nodded as they fled.
R-Duo panicked and beeped knowing that its master was about to cross a line that the acolyte should never cross. "I know R-Duo and I'm on it!"
She said to the droid running over to Karre who had a murderous glare in his eyes and said with anger as he used the force to pull the student closer to him as his eyes glowed yellow for a brief second.
"Corruption like yours and the rest of Britannia must be eradicated off the face of this universe!" The student could feel his eyes nearly popping out as he screamed while Karre raised his lightsaber into the air to strike the killing blow as Euphie then yelled.
"Karre that's enough!" She ran over to him as Karre looked at the girl who was scared and then sighed as he drops the the student as the student was coughing up a storm after being nearly choked to death even a bit of blood by this stranger who was able to do that while Karre turning off his lightsaber and placed it back on it's belt.
Euphie then said looking a bit mad at the student. "You should be ashamed of yourself! Get outta here before I alert the authorities or worse..."
Maya was amazed. "She stopped him from taking that student's life and she wasn't scared." Luke nodded in agreement and was surprised by that woman's kindness and how she was able to pacify Karre's rage just like that whoever she was must mean something to both Karre and to Suzaku as Karre was given a cloth to clean the blood off his face of the victim he had slaughtered in retaliation.
Lelouch sighed as he headed up the ramp and back onto the Falcon and then saw Lily who had finished her tour of the Millennium Falcon as she said. "Oh excuse me Lelouch." As the man smiled at her. "It's okay Lily and thank you for taking the time to see the falcon and the others." And with that the Jedi Knight out of time then left as Lelouch me up with the others onboard.
As Asami said to him. "How was school today?" Lelouch sighed as he said sitting down "It was very boring aside from a random amnesiac boy stumbling onto school grounds and now staying with me and my sister!"
Lop then said cleaning her lightsaber "Well it could have been worse!" Lelouch then noticed the one person not here. "Where's Luke?"
Han then said to the exiled prince, "He went off to Shinjuku to pay his respects, where else did you think he would go?"
Lelouch then said with an unsure look. "Are you sure that's wise for him to do that? Considering that pretty much the entire military in Area 11 is looking for him as much as they are looking for me?"
Threepio then said. "Do not worry Master Lelouch Master Luke is pretty good at getting out of trouble..."
At least that was off Lelouch's mind for the moment as he then looked at C.C.
"What do you know of a boy with white hair and blue eyes?" C.C. looked in minor surprise at his question, not expecting that. "Why do you ask?"
"That amnesiac boy I just mentioned, he had the same outfit you're wearing. I doubt it's a coincidence." Lelouch said, causing some of them to look in surprise as well.
The green-haired woman put her usual indifferent face back on. "I don't know him, personally. Though I'd seen him once or twice."
Asami then said "Right besides that strange boy who has an odd relationship Miss hides secrets Tdee told us you've been training with your Geass?" The droid beeped in agreement.
Lelouch then said assuring them. "It's not like I forced her to hurt anyone so chill out!"
Han then said. "So out of the question has it worn off?" Lelouch then said with honesty in his voice.
"Well somehow it hasn't worn off maybe it may also have to do with a specific command I give. If it's toward a specific event it shouldn't have too much of an effect on that person's future; unless I say otherwise."
Asami then said. "Then stay cautious of what this strange power of Geass can do if you're not vigilant!" Lelouch nodded as C.C then said "In such a short amount of time..." C.C. said as she sat at the table looking at Lelouch.
"You managed to learn so much about the power I have given you." She then turned to Asami and Lop and said "I would ask Skywalker this question but he ain't here so I'll ask you then!" She then continued. "Your power on the other hand is something else."
Asami then said "I was trained as a Padawan in a Jedi temple on Coruscant prior to becoming an imperial place!" Lop then said choosing her words carefully not mentioning someone important to her.
"I on the other hand unlocked my force abilities when I had to battle the Empire!" C.C then mumbled. "interesting!"
Leia then said "Besides what the Geass can do in our hands we can't force anyone if they don't desire to fight. But it won't stop us from helping those who want to take arms against Britannia."
"However long it takes, we will turn the tide on Britannia," Lelouch said determined.
"Hmm, an exile bestowed with the power of the king and a group of rebels from the stars with some Jedi outcasts, what an interesting band you can make." C.C. had the ghost of a smile. "Yet, it still confuses me..."
"I beg your pardon, Miss C.C.?" Threepio asked the green haired witch.
"Why bother to fight against Britannia?" C.C. said and caught everyone's attention.
"I would understand if you were Elevens fighting to reclaim your homeland." She looked at Lelouch. "You are a Britannian student with a comfortable life on campus..."
She glanced at the Falcon crew and to Asami and Lop. "You people on the other hand are not even from this world. And from what I have learned you're already fighting another war. Why go so far as to start another one...Here?"
Asami then said with a glare at him. "If we don't then all of the good people we lost all their wisdom and history will be for nothing! And believe me it makes no difference than what the Galactic Empire does to other planets." Leia nodded in agreement with her knowing the Jedi was in the right.
C.C turned away from them and said to them "Such idolisation, such selfless actions!"
"Is it good to be strong?" Lelouch said, and everyone's attention was on him. "What do you mean by being that, Master Lelouch?" Threepio asked.
Lelouch looked to the opposite wall, and he placed hands behind his back. "Who doesn't want strength in a world of continuous suffering. Starvation, filth, decay, constant war, and terrorism. The strong are constantly devouring the weak, like rats running in a while. They keep running and running... but they always remain in the same spot. Never changing. This never-changing wheel."
Chewie roared. "So you're saying this wheel needs to be broken?" Han said, now starting to get uncomfortable by Lelouch's tone on his ship.
"What will you do to achieve this utopia?" C.C. asked at Lelouch.
"It's simple." Lelouch said. "When somebody wins... the fighting will end."
Artoo beeped ominously Tdee had a completely shocked look while Threepio was shocked to hear it
Leia folded her arms and said "When somebody wins? As in, you don't care who wins, or how?"
"I'll see to it that we win." Lelouch confirmed. "That much, is certain. But I made a promise to create a world in which Nunnally can be happy is my number one priority."
The group had mixed reactions about it and had no clue what to even say to him.
Luke and Maya, making sure to keep their distance, followed Karre's group still in the Shinjuku Ghetto. "Is it bad to be weak?" Suzaku said, causing Euphie & Karre to glance at him.
"Back then when I was ten...the world seemed like such a terribly sad place. A world without any hope at all." He looked down. "Disease, racism, living in a never-ending cycle of hate. The cycle... has to be broken. It must! Somebody has to do it! Of course, it's doubtful that the one who does it will do all the bad things just go away. No one should lose more of the people they love. At least a world without war."
Luke could tell that Suzaku was a good person just as Lelouch told him onboard the falcon. Maya could also understand after all she is half blood.
R-Duo beeped rolling next to Suzaku's feet as if telling how Suzaku would do it?
Suzaku looks at the droid saying. "I'm not sure..." Suzaku said as he pulled out his broken pocket watch. "But... if I stop trying... then my father's death would be in vain!"
"You speak of the Prime Minister's death?" Karre asked him as Suzaku lowered his eyes and nodded. "My own father died because he had to sacrifice his life in that war!" The teen started to cringe and squeeze the watch tighter, while Euphie looked with sorrow while Karre had a look of understanding.
Luke did as well from his hiding spot as Suzaku reminded him of himself as he wanted to become a Jedi just like his father and a strong sense of honour but however all their thoughts were caught off by the sound of an explosion coming from a destroyed baseball field ten kilometres away from their location.
Gottwald in an abandoned stadium. "You're going to pay for letting Prince Clovis' murderers go free!"
"Kewell, you dirty coward!" Jeremiah exclaimed. "That lead about Zero and those Jedi being here was all a lie, wasn't it?!"
"We have to wipe away our disgrace before Princess Cornelia takes up her post here," Kewell said. "This is how we keep our officials honest."
Lloyd and Cecile drove the transport truck and stopped it in front of Suzaku and Euphie.
"Suzaku!" Cecile said as she opened the door. "Miss Cecile!" Suzaku said.
"It's dangerous here! Get in!"
"The Purebloods are having a silly squabble." Lloyd said. "Better get out of here." He then made a wry smile. "Oh, and by the way, what a shame about your acquittal. Because now you'll have to work for me again."
"Wait, please!" Suzaku said. "Isn't this an opportunity to gather battle data for the Lancelot?"
Cecile gaped, while Lloyd looked back at the teen, very much liking what he was implying.
"Suzaku..." Euphie said.
"I'm sorry, Euphie..." Suzaku turned to her. "We have to say goodbye here. I need to do this. I think I can stop them with the Lancelot. I have to try. I... I must!"
Karre then said to R-Duo. "Watch over her, I promise we will return!" R-Duo beeped in agreement to its master as he brought out a holo projector as the hologram of a Glide Packer was on it with a red shoulder pad.
"Lord Karre, is there something wrong?" Karre then said. "Captain Galo I need your Promare squadron to meet me and my newest ally at the baseball stadium there's a seed of discord!" Captain Galo saluted Karre and said.
"Consider it done Lord Karre, we look forward to seeing you there!" Karre turned off the hologram as Karre rushed off into battle.
Jeremiah's Sutherland had lost his gun, and Kewell stabbed it with his lance.
"Damnit!" The margrave grunted. "It's four against one! You bloody cowards!" He tried to extend the gauntlet of his Knightmare, but Kewell went to stab it with his lance.
"Don't worry, Jeremiah," Kewell said. "We'll say you died in battle. Your family's name won't be disgraced."
"You're serious then?! You actually intend to kill me?!" Jeremiah yelled. "Kewell!"
"Silence, Orange!" Kewell said. "We serve the Imperial Family! Why else would we be here!" Soon, all four of them rushed in with their lances centred on Jeremiah, intent on ending him there. "ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!"
That was until these grappling hooks caught the lances as Kewell shouted "WHAT!?"
Above them they saw Glide packers as the leader of the pack Captain Galo who said.
"Kewell we are Lord Karre's Glide Packers the Promares, order your Purebloods to stand down now! Otherwise there shall be consequences..."
Jeremiah chuckles and says to himself. with a small smirk. "Never thought I would see the day that the Royal Regime saved my life!"
The Glide Packers then pulled the lances out of the Knightmares Kewell then said. "This is a matter between the Purebloods not you Regime scum!"
Galo sighed and said knowing this was gonna happen. "So much for negotiations with the Purebloods!" He turned to his Glide Packers "Alright you lot set your blasters to stun!" "YES SIR!"
Luke and Maya were hiding behind an empty stadium seat watching the battle against the Purebloods and the Glide Packers go hard as the Glide Packers were expert flyers which almost reminded Luke of Boba fett.
He then sees some of the Glide Packers use their cables to tie one of the Knightmare's legs and send them tumbling to the ground.
Kewell roared as he pilots his knightmare to push some of the Glide packers aside as they received a few injuries Luke was about to jump in Lightsaber at the ready until.
SLISH!
A slash harken appeared and hit the ground in front of Kewell, causing all of them to stop. As Karre and the same Knightmare he had fought, they arrived at the stadium.
"Stop it! You're all Britannian soldiers!" Karre nodded as he had drown his lightsaber as the blade glowed red.
Luke however gasped in surprise and said to himself as he couldn't believe it with his own two eyes. "It's the Knightmare from and that voice it's Suzaku!"
"What Suzaku is Lancelot?!" Exclaimed Maya in pure shock and horror that Suzaku was the pilot.
"That's him..." Jeremiah widened his eyes as he recognized the sound of that voice. "It's... It's that Honorary Britannian. He's piloting Asplund's advanced weapon! Lancelot!"
He then directs his attention to Karre and then says. "Even Karre's here, at least he's fighting on my side."
"What business does the Special Corps want here?!" Kewell demanded. "Interlopers will die!"
"No!" Suzaku said, and he had the Lancelot equipped from its back with two identical swords that shined pink before the blades turned crimson red. "I can't stand by and ignore this senseless battle!"
"Oh, God..." Kewell stood there frozen. "They've perfected the MVSs."
Karre then said as he swung his lightsaber a few times "Understand we gave a choice to flee but now we must reap what you have sown!"
Karre charged into battle slashing a few of the Sutherland's legs and then used the force to rip off the arms and legs of another Sutherland while Suzaku was battling Kewell as the young pushed the Pureblood back
"Lord Karre, pleasant surprise to see you and your pack here!" Jeremiah said as Karre then said "Oh just visiting someone special Margrave!" Jeremiah smiled as he always treasured Karre's love for life even if he was a Sith Acolyte Jeremiah respected that.
Luke was impressed on how much teamwork Karre, Suzaku, the Glide Packers were doing as they had defeated all of the Pureblood soldiers leaving only Kewell and a three sutherland still working.
"My forces may be nearly wiped but however I can sleep well knowing we at least kill Orange!" Kewell yelled as he zoomed in to stab Jeremiah with his lance, but Margrave blocked it. It wasn't about to last... but that was until another Sutherland came out from nowhere and kicked Kewell's Sutherland away.
"Lord Jeremiah!" Villetta said.
"Villetta, thanks!" The margrave said, grateful for his colleague's arrival. Soon, Villetta in her Sutherland, Karre alongside his squadron and Suzaku in his Lancelot stood defensively in front of Jeremiah's battered Sutherland.
"Still wanna fight?" Suzaku teased the Purebloods as the Glide Packers raised their blasters at them.
Galo then showed his foe the battlefield. "Take a look around, Kewell your troops are depleted and there's nowhere to run to accept the consequences before my troops and I are forced to set our blasters from stun to kill!"
Kewell growled and said, his face covered by darkness, "All units stand down!"
Karre then said. "Looks like he's giving up!" Until Kewell uncovered what looked like a grenade from his Sutherland.
"I'm using a chaos mine!" Kewell said as he threw it into the air towards his enemies.
"NO! STOP IT NOW!" Euphie cried out as she ran across the stadium towards Suzaku, Villetta, and Jeremiah.
"Euphie?!" Suzaku cried in confusion.
"What?!" Jeremiah said and saw the girl on his screen. "Wait, that's..."
The grenade uncoiled in the air, and Suzaku quickly equipped his luminous shield. The chaos mine showered a rain of fire down towards them, but they were all protected as the fire bounced off the Lancelot's shield.
Karre used the force to create a barrier to shield his troops from the blast as the fire was still powerful, it caused everyone to cover themselves, and Suzaku grunted as a bit of gunfire was almost getting in, he started to worry if the Yggdrasil drive could take much more.
Soon the mine stopped, Karre then said. "Captain status!" "No casualties on our end sir, only a few of the Purebloods were killed!"
Karre nodded to the captain as everyone directed their attention to Euphie who said "Lower your weapons at once!" The teen walked towards Kewell's Sutherland. "In my name, I command you!"
"It..." Kewell gasped, now recognizing the girl before him... except it wasn't any other girl. "It... it can't be..."
"I am Euphemia li Britannia of the Empire! And the Third Princess of the Royal Family!" Euphie announced with a courageous and authoritative tone.
Suzaku gasped. "Euphie..."
Luke thought to himself, still in his hiding spot, now knowing who the woman was, "Euphemia Li Britannia she must be Lelouch's sister!"
Maya was surprised to see royalty actually doing something good for people and they were like Lelouch.
I'm assuming command here! Now fall back!" The princess ordered.
"It is her." Jeremiah said, now realising. "It's the princess!"
"COMPANY ATTENTION!" Captain Galo shouted as his troops all had their back straight in the presence of her even if they were different they still respected her
"Did you know it was her, Lloyd?" Cecile asked, as she and Lloyd stood a bit away. "Uh-huh," Lloyd nodded. "But she's been a student up until now and hasn't made her public debut yet."
Kewell could only tremble. To think his action had almost... had almost... "We... were truly..." He and the other Purebloods, and even Villetta and Jeremiah kneeled their Knightmares in respect of Euphemia. "We're truly sorry, Your Highness!"
"My lady!" Suzaku said as he got off the Lancelot and ran towards Euphemia and R-Duo. "I had no idea who you were. Please forgive me, Princess!"
Euphemia turned to the boy she had befriended and who had protected her. She eyed him with sympathy. "Suzaku... you and I bear a similar deep pain. You have lost your father... Just as I have lost my brother." Suzaku gasped at that.
"Will you let me help you in your quest to ensure that no one ever again has to suffer the loss of a loved one on the battlefield?" She smiled.
"Yes!" Suzaku kneeled before her. "I'm unworthy of your kindness."
"Suzaku..." Euphie said, and he looked up at her. "Please... call me, Euphie."
"I think we should go before they notice us!" Whispered Maya as Luke nodded at her before they could leave they then saw a shuttle flying onto the scene as everyone sees it land and outcomes Am and Julius with a squad of Matrix Troopers appearing on each side as the two members of the Royal Regime enter the scene.
"Am and Julius!" Karre said in shock to see his sister and the pupil of Argos on the scene as everyone wondered why they were here..
"What brings you here my lord and my lady?" Galo asked them as Am then said. "I wanted to check on my brother since I heard you were heading to meet the princess today here in the Tokyo settlement!"
As she shows a small glare to the princess as she then said. "I even heard you killed a Britianian student in blood as well? While the other one you nearly force choked to death very well, you know when to get aggressive when the time is right just like how you killed Naoto..."
Karre was ashamed but said nothing as Julius chuckled and said
"Indeed an excellent display of power to show one must never be on our bad side. Why If he got under my skin I would have done the same thing as you did only much worse!"
He winks at Karre who winced at that when he let his emotions control as Julius then said to Euphie. "Princess Euphemia, it's been a long time! Glad to see you again. I can assume your arrival to this area has been met with your standards?" He grabs her hand and kisses it as Euphemia nodded and said seriously knowing the man held many secrets she didn't know about. "Indeed it has been Julius..."
"Rest assured that the punishment of the soldiers will be informed to Cornelia.." Am nodded and said. "I agree we just came here to pick up my brother after his big day with his newest friends..."
As Karre's starship flew over on autopilot as Karre nodded as he waved goodbye to his newly made friends as he hoped to see them again soon while Maya and Luke fled without anyone noticing returning to their respective homes the falcon for Luke and the house Maya lived in.
Viceroy Palace
Euphemia, now dawned in her royal pink and white dress, stood with the welcoming party as Cornelia's plane landed. The new Viceroy had arrived. Her sister had arrived.
Cornelia descended from the plane, wearing a white stylish cape over her red-gold uniform, and coming behind her were her royal guard, the Glaston Knights. Euphie could see her sister's most trusted knights, Darlton, and Guilford standing obediently behind her.
Euphemia went to greet her sister.
"I heard about what you did, Euphemia. You shouldn't have been so reckless even if Karre was there to protect you." Cornelia said.
"I know, sister I was just happy to see him again," Euphemia bowed. "Please, forgive me, but..."
"You will address me as Viceroy, Sub-Viceroy Euphemia," The Viceroy said. "Because we're sisters, we need to follow a stricter protocol."
"Yes, I understand."
Cornelia smiled, before turning to a steward. "Now, give me your report."
"Yes," The steward bowed. "The first order of business is a welcoming party we've arranged for Your Highness..."

The steward stopped as Cornelia pointed her gun at him, causing Euphemia to gasp.
"Sloppy. Senile. Corrupt." She said with disappointment. "Is this order of priority the same kind you followed while serving my brother? The same thing that got him killed?"
"What? No!" The steward raised his hands in fear. "Of course not! I would never do such a thing to His Highness..."
"Then where are they?!" the princess growled. "What progress has been made in the effort to apprehend my brother's killers?! Where are they?! The ones who call themselves the Rebel Alliance! I want the enemies of the Empire caught!"
Cornelia's eyes twitched with a burning hate. "BRING ME ZERO! BRING ME LUKE SKYWALKER!"
