Salted Tower
Chapter 2 Pepper

Chef Saltbaker waited in his shop, until Cuphead and Mugman arrived he thanked the two brothers for coming to his aid and explained what had happened with the threat from Pizzaface.
"So do you know this Pizzaface guy?" Asked Cuphead.
"I don't. He just showed up and said he would destroy my shop, unless I came to his tower and faced him." Said Chef Saltbaker.
"Sounds serious. Don't worry will help you and we even brought something to help you aid us and fight Pizzaface." Said Mugman pulling out a bottle of odd colored liquid.
"This is the potion Elder Kettle gave us that lets us shoot from our finger tips." Explained Cuphead.
Chef Saltbaker took the potion and drank it feeling a tingling sensation go through him. Cuphead and Mugman took Chef Saltbaker outside and they stacked some empty can on top of each other to use as target practice. The brothers demonstrated using their own abilities to knock the cans down and Chef Saltbaker took a shot firing some white energy from his index fingers and knocking the cans over. After some practice Chef Saltbaker felt confident in his new abilities. The trio then headed towards the tower to confront Pizzaface.
After a good deal of walking they arrived at the base of the tower, Pizzaface floated down from the top to confront the trio.
"So you finally arrived, excellent! Now you must enter my tower and pass some trials to reach the top. I'll be waiting." Said Pizzaface before he flew back to the top.
"That guy is a creep. Let's go in and clear those trials." Said Cuphead.
They entered the tower to find a ordinary looking lobby, with some stairs. The three heroes claimed the stairs and were confronted by some Pepperoni Goblins that charged down towards them. Cuphead, Mugman, and Chef Saltbaker shot at the monsters and quickly continued moving on up the stairs, they eventually reached a new floor.
The floor our heroes found them on looked like some kind of art studio with multiple paintings and statues of the same being who appeared to be a giant red pepper. In one part of the room was the being behind the art as well as the inspiration. The artist spun to face the trio and reveal himself.
It was a giant red bell pepper with limbs wearing a pair of white gloves and sneakers of the same color.
"I'm Phil Pepperman, though you can call me Pepperman. I'm the guardian here and if you want to proceed through the tower you have to fight me!"
Pepperman began to charge forward and Cuphead, Mugman, and Chef Saltbaker began firing at him as he charged. Cuphead and Mugman jumped over Pepperman's charge and Chef Saltbaker dodged out of the way. Pepperman turned around and began to leap about at the heroes, who continued to shoot him. The big pepper landed near one of his statues and shoved it at the heroes sending it skidding towards them. The statue struck them and shattered as the heroes were flung about. Pepperman pushed another statue at the heroes and they quickly regrouped and shot the statue and shattered it to pieces with their shots, which angered Pepperman.
"Let's see how you like paint!" Said Pepperman as he grabbed cans of open paint and began throwing them at the heroes.
Paint went everywhere as Cuphead, Mugman, and Chef Saltbaker jumped and ran around blasting Pepperman. Chef Saltbaker decided to change tactics and shot the pain cans in Pepperman's hands making them explode before he could throw them covering the big pepper in paint. Pepperman tried to charge at the heroes, but slipped in the paint and crashed into one of his statues causing it to fall on him and pin him to the ground. He tried to push the statue off, but couldn't.
"Alright I give up." Said Pepperman in defeat.
Chef Saltbaker and the brothers helped get the statue off of Pepperman and a door leading to the next stairs opened up.
"Best of luck to you." Said Pepperman as he went about cleaning the art studio.
Chef Saltbaker and the brothers went up the stairs to the next level of the tower.
