The storm had picked up through the night so Sarah had stayed glued to Dean's side all night and whenever there was the slightest rumble of thunder Sarah whimpered gripping Dean's shirt tighter. By morning the storm had completely cleared out and it was a bright sunny day outside and Dean had to leave at 6 in the morning because he had interviews and autograph signings the next couple of days so Seth and Roman are taking turns to watch Sarah and today isn't a good day because Sarah needs to be checked by the doctors and she's giving Seth a bit of a hard time.
"Sarah it's a simple check up they want to make sure that your healing properly". Seth said.
"I'm fine though Uncle Seth, i'm just fine i promise. I'm doing everything i'm suppose to, i'm resting, taking it easy, I've only been to the arena once and i was fine". Sarah said.
"Sweetheart you may feel fine but the doctor is the one to make the call on if you can start moving around some more and he just wants to make sure that your healing properly". Seth said.
"I don't wanna go i'm fine". Sarah said.
Seth was starting to get frustrated with his niece he didn't know how Dean was able to put up with this for so long and he knew he wasn't gonna yell at her again because the last time he did it didn't turn out very well and Dean threatened to kick his ass if he did it again so he had to come up with one more idea.
"Sarah don't make me call your brother". Seth warned.
Sarah then glanced at her uncle with a challenged look.
"You wouldn't". Sarah challenged.
Seth then pulled his phone up dialing Dean's number holding it to his ear then when Sarah try to go for him to stop him he held her while his phone continue to ring and after a minute Dean answered.
-Yeah Seth. Dean answered.
-Sarah's giving me a hard time about going to the doctor. Seth said.
"Snitch". Sarah mumbled.
-Give her the phone and i'll talk to her. Dean said.
Seth then handed Sarah the phone and she took it holding holding her head down feeling nervous.
-Hi Dean. Sarah said.
-Sarah why are you giving Seth a hard time about going to the doctor? Dean asked.
-I feel fine Dean i promise. Sarah said.
-I bet you do sweetheart but i want to make sure that your alright. Dean said.
-But Dean i told you i feel fine. Sarah said.
-Sarah Nicole you're going and that's final. Dean said sternly.
-Yes Dean. Sarah said in defeat.
-I'll make you a deal, if you go to the doctor no fighting or anything we can go to the arena. Dean said.
-Really? Sarah asked.
-Really. Dean said.
Dean knew his sister hated staying cooped up a lot so sometimes he'll let her out.
-Alright Dean. Sarah said.
-That's my girl. Dean said.
-Will you be at the arena when you're finished? Sarah asked.
-I will be there sweetheart i promise but now you have to go to the doctor and go with Seth to the arena alright i'll see you later. Dean said.
-Alright Dean i love you. Sarah said.
-I love you too sweetheart. Dean said.
Sarah then hung up the phone and handed it back to Seth.
"Snitch". Sarah said.
"It would be the only way you would listen so get your shoes and jacket so we can head out". Seth said.
"Alright". Sarah said.
Seth then got his stuff ready while Sarah got her stuff together, once they had gotten their stuff together they headed out so Sarah can make it to the doctor on time. They make it to the doctor on the way Sarah clutched onto Seth's hand.
"Hey it's alright sweetheart i'm right here". Seth said.
"I'm not use to doing this without Dean it takes me a few minutes". Sarah said.
They then go in and see the doctor Sarah was still nervous since she didn't know is she was getting a shot or not.
"Ah hello Sarah how are you doing today". The doctor said.
"Good". Sarah said.
"How have you been feeling since your surgery". The doctor said.
"After i was sore for a few days but i feel fine now". Sarah said.
"Well just to be sure let's see if your healing properly". The doctor said.
The doctor then examined Sarah and saw that she was healing properly and she is fine.
"Well Sarah it looks perfectly fine just take it easy for at least another couple days and you'll be good as new". The doctor said.
"Alright". Sarah said.
Seth and Sarah then left the doctor and headed to the arena, once they got there they headed to Roman's locker room they got there now waiting on Dean. After a while Dean finally arrived to the arena and he was tired as hell he was ready to just get his sister and head back to the hotel so he can sleep but he knew his sister doesn't like staying cooped up so he went. He was almost there right when Renee stopped him.
"Look i'm not in the mood for whatever it is you're gonna say or do nor would i give a damn". Dean said.
"I'm just here to say goodbye Dean. You won't be seeing me around anymore i called and told Jake about the baby so i'm going to go be with him". Renee said.
"Bye have a nice life". Dean said.
"You know you could show and have a little sympathy for me". Renee said.
"Yeah that's not gonna happen i stopped having that the day we broke up". Dean said.
"Well i just wanted to say goodbye". Renee said.
"Again bye have a nice life". Dean said.
He then continued his walk to Roman's locker room to see his sister reading while Seth and Roman were preparing for a tag match.
"Hey guys". Dean said tiredly.
Sarah looked up from her book and saw her brother.
"Dean". Sarah said excitedly running to hug him.
"Hey sweetheart". Dean said.
"You look tired". Sarah said.
"You have no idea sweetheart. Anyway did you go to the doctor without fighting". Dean said.
"Yup". Sarah said.
"Seth". Dean said for confirmation.
"She went without a fight the doctor said she needed a couple more days and she'd be good as new". Seth said.
"But i feel fine i don't need to take it easy anymore i feel perfectly fine". Sarah said.
"Well as long as you're still taking it easy that means you can't go to the authority". Dean said.
"Dean i can't hide from them forever they know once i come back i'm with them". Sarah said.
"Not if you leave them willingly". Seth said.
"What are you talking about Uncle Seth?" Sarah asked.
"I had an idea to free you from your deal, see the deal is that you work for them if they leave us alone which means they can't hurt or threaten us right". Seth said.
"Right". Sarah said.
"If we get them to do either then you call the deal off and you no longer work for them". Seth said.
"That might work but how do we get them to hurt or threaten you?" Sarah asked.
"We provoke them to the point they fight back". Seth answered.
"But what if this doesn't work?" Roman asked.
"Then we'll make it work one way or another we will make this work". Seth said.
"What if they hurt me or do something to me?" Sarah asked.
Dean then brought his sister close to him and held her tightly.
"We won't let that happen sweetheart even if we have to go with you every time you go to them we won't let that happen". Seth said.
"Seth's right sweetheart we won't ever let anyone else hurt you ever again". Dean said.
"Let's do this". Sarah said.
Sarah went back to the authority's office so they can get everything in play, once it was time for the six man tag match it was time for the plan to go into action and hopefully it'll work.
Ring
"This match is set for one fall introducing the team of Randy Orton, Kane, and The Big Show".
Sarah just hopes this will work and she can go back to her brother because this has been one long ass frustrating day for her. Her face then brightens up when she hears Roman's music and the trio comes out.
"And their opponents the team of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns". Lillian said.
The trio comes down they glance over at Sarah knowing that the plan is in action, once the six men are in the ring Kane and Seth start it off.
(Skips time)
Half of the match has gone by and it's been a real close match so far, Dean is now in against Randy and he has in in a headlock but Randy is able to counter and reverse the move just as Randy goes for an attack Sarah sneaks up and pulls on his ankle tripping him then she runs the other way before Kane or Big Show can get her, then just as they do go for her Roman and Seth block their view challenging them to take another step then while Randy is down in the ring Dean jumps back on the rope and flies out knocking Kane and Big Show down but he manages to avoid Seth and Roman. Sarah looks and thinks her plan is working so far, Dean then gets back in and starts to beat Randy over the chest but Kane pulls him away then from the top turnbuckle Seth flies out and hits Kane and when he lands he landed on his knee seriously hurting it. Dean and Roman saw their friend in a lot of pain so they decided screw the match and went to go help Seth, Sarah was really scared about what happened to her uncle so Dean went to her while Roman went to Seth.
"Dean is Uncle Seth gonna be alright?" Sarah asked scared.
"I don't know yet sweetheart". Dean said.
Sarah stayed with her brother just as tears formed in her eyes and Roman was trying to help Seth up but he was in too much pain.
"Seth where is the pain coming from?" Roman asked.
"M-my knee". Seth cried in pain.
The pain from Seth's knee was a real bitch the medic had to call for a stretcher and they brought one out and began to strap Seth on while he continued to cry out in pain and agony, Sarah let the tears fall as she saw Seth being carried away she didn't know what happened to Seth but from how much pain he's in it was bad enough that he has to go to the hospital.
"Listen sweetheart i'm sure that Seth will be fine alright". Dean tried to calm his sister down.
"But what if he's not?" Sarah cried.
Dean didn't know what to say because he or Roman didn't know what was wrong until they found out, Sarah started to cry more so Dean picked her up and they headed back stage so they can pack up and head to the hospital. Roman decided to drive while Dean stayed with his sister who continued to cry in his shirt, Dean tried everything he could think of to calm his sister down but nothing would work until she knew that Seth was ok. By the time they got to the hospital Sarah had calmed down but was very tired from the crying so when they were walking she held onto her brother then went to go find Seth, they went to the nurses station to see what was wrong with Seth but since only family could get the information Roman and Dean lied saying that Seth was their brother, the nurse then paged Seth's doctor. They went to go sit down while they waited Sarah sat in her brother's lap slowly falling asleep on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her to keep her steady while gently rocking her to keep her asleep. The doctor then came after 10 minutes just as Dean was about to set his sister down Roman stopped him.
"Stay with her Dean i got this". Roman said.
"Thanks Rome". Dean said.
Roman then went to the doctor.
"You're here for Mr Rollins correct?" The doctor asked.
"Yes i'm his brother, how is he". Roman said.
"Unfortunately he tore his right ACL, MCL, and meniscus, he's going to need surgery for that". The doctor said.
"He's a wrestler so how long would he be out of action?" Roman asked.
"I would say 6-9 months". The doctor said.
"When's his surgery?" Roman asked.
"The swelling in the knee has to go down before we do anything else once it goes down we'll get him prepped". The doctor said.
"Thank you". Roman said.
The doctor nodded and went back to attending his patients Roman then asked if they could see Seth, they could but only for a few minutes so Roman went to get Dean and signed for him to follow Dean then woke his sister since there going to see Seth.
"What's going on Dean?" Sarah asked stretching.
"Were going to see Seth". Dean said.
That lit up the young girl's eyes as she took her brother's hand and they sped down the hall to his room right behind Roman, once they got there Roman knocked and he heard "Come in". They walk in and see Seth in a nightgown and he's feeling very tired and in a lot of pain.
"Hey man how you feeling?" Roman asked.
"My knee hurts like hell". Seth said.
"Will you be alright Uncle Seth?" Sarah asked.
"Once i have my surgery i'll be fine sweetheart". Seth said.
"How long will you be out?" Sarah asked.
"It'll be a while before i come back sweetheart but look i promise that i will be back". Seth said.
"Doc said you messed your knee up bad". Roman said.
"It hurts like hell". Seth said.
"No kidding". Dean said.
"Wait how'd you guys find out?" Seth asked.
"We told them that we are your brothers and Sarah's your niece". Roman said in a quiet voice.
The nurse came in and said that they had to leave so Seth can rest.
"We'll come back right?" Sarah asked.
"We'll be back first thing in the morning sweetheart, plus it's time for you to get some sleep". Dean said.
"Alright. Good night Uncle Seth". Sarah said hugging him.
"Good night sweetheart". Seth said.
"Feel better soon Seth". Roman said.
"Feel better". Dean said.
"Thanks guys". Seth said.
Sarah kissed his cheek then he kissed her head in return he then fist bumps Dean and Roman then they head out for the night, on the way back to the hotel Sarah had fell asleep Dean looked in the rear view mirror as he saw his sister fast asleep covered with his jacket it always put a smile on his face. Once they got to the hotel Dean got his sister from the back while Roman got the bags they then headed inside, Dean woke his sister long enough for her to change then she fell back asleep then once Dean and Roman were changed for bed they went to sleep.
During the night Dean started to have a very strange dream.
*Dream*
Dean was standing in an empty but very large field that could go on for miles.
"Hello, anyone here". Dean called out.
"No need to shout Dean i'm here". A woman's voice called back.
"Who's there?" Dean asked.
"Turn around and you'll find out". The voice said back.
Dean was confused but when he turned around what he saw put him in shock just as he felt a lump form in his throat and his eyes stinging.
"Mom?" Dean asked.
"Hello Dean". Janet said to her son.
"What is this? Where am i?" Dean asked.
"All this is just a dream Dean nothing but your subconscious". Janet answered.
"So how are you here?" Dean asked.
"I came because i heard you that night son, the night Sarah had her emergency surgery". Janet said.
"I didn't think you actually heard me". Dean said softly.
"Dean i will always hear you or your sister no matter what". Janet said.
"So then you heard me saying i'm a failure as a son and a brother". Dean said.
"Dean that's not true. Your the best son i could ever ask for and you're the best brother Sarah could ask for, honey every one is not perfect in the world no matter how hard you try every one won't be perfect". Janet said.
"Mom, Sarah needed surgery for her appendix and i didn't know i pushed the thought away thinking it was a stomach bug. When i got told she needed surgery i was scared to death and when she was crying saying she was scared i didn't know how to comfort her". Dean said.
"Dean everyone is human you're allowed to make mistakes but hey you got her to a doctor in time and she got it removed, she was fine the entire time". Janet said.
"How do you know?" Dean asked.
"I was with her the whole time, i would never let anything bad happen to you or Sarah plus she's a fighter and very stubborn like her brother". Janet said.
Dean stayed quiet for a minute just as a smile appeared on his face.
"I also wanna say i'm very very proud of you son". Janet said.
"For what?" Dean asked.
"Taking care of your sister and raising her right, you're doing a wonderful job Dean i know i stuck a huge responsibility on you at such a young age but looking at how Sarah's growing up with you and surrounded by your friends, your the best brother for Sarah. I see how she looks up to you, admires you, i see it all, you may think i can't see it but i can see everything between the two of you". Janet said.
"I try to be the brother i'm suppose to be every day". Dean said.
"You are the brother you're suppose to be Dean, you guide Sarah through life, you make sure she doesn't make any mistakes, you make sure that she is well taken care of every day. You are the best brother ever". Janet said.
"Thanks mom". Dean said.
"You know it's true Dean it's all true". Janet said.
Dean then started to see his mother fade away.
"I have to go now Dean just remember this your are the best son i could ask for, the best brother for Sarah, and that i love both you and Sarah with all my heart". Janet said.
"I love you too mom". Dean said.
Then she was gone and Dean woke up.
*Back to reality*
Dean woke up with a start and looked around and saw that everything was ok, Sarah was still fast asleep next to him, Roman was still asleep in the other bed so he said to himself 'it was all just a dream, just a dream'. Sarah felt movement next to her so she she let out a yawn and rubbed her eyes turning towards her brother.
"Dean? What's wrong?" Sarah asked sleepy.
Dean was broken out of his thoughts by hearing his sister's voice.
"Nothing sweetheart come on back to bed". Dean said.
"Ok". Sarah yawned.
Sarah curled up next to her brother resting her head on his chest gripping his shirt she started to go to sleep just as he was stroking her hair and humming a song from when she was younger.
"G'night Dean i love you". Sarah said asleep.
Dean kissed her head and then replied.
"Good night sweetheart i love you too". Dean whispered.
Dean then held his sister going into a peaceful sleep for the night with a smile on his face.
