Dean was pacing back and forth in the hotel room waiting on Roman to show up then when he hears a knock on the door he rushes to open it hoping and praying Roman knows or has an idea where Sarah is.
"Alright now calm down and tell me what happened". Roman said coming in.
"I woke up and i went to wake Sarah up but she's gone. Where the hell would she go she's 11 for Christ sake". Dean said.
"Did you check your stuff and hers?" Roman asked.
"I haven't had a chance yet". Dean said.
"So check your stuff and maybe that'll lead you to where Sarah is or might be". Roman said.
"I have to be the worst brother ever that Sarah would do this". Dean said.
"She's probably doing it for attention i mean since Seth's been out, the both of us have been busy when was the last time either of us had time for her". Roman said.
"I try to make time for her". Dean said.
Dean then checked out his computer first and pulled up the history he then notices something for a bus ticket so he clicks on it and it was a bus ticket that was purchased last night.
"She bought a bus ticket, but to where". Dean said.
"Where would she get the money for that?" Roman asked.
Dean then checked his wallet and noticed one of his credit cards are gone along with some of his cash.
"Sarah stole my credit card and my money". Dean said.
"Alright think about all the possibilities on where she would run away too. Besides us who would she go to when she gets upset or anything". Roman said.
"We have an uncle in Cincinnati, i have a buddy there who considers her his niece, and". Dean started.
"And what, who else". Roman said.
"She'd go to Seth". Dean said.
Meanwhile
Sarah was inside Seth's house at the kitchen table sipping on some juice.
"Sarah what would possess you to run away, you probably have your brother out of his mind worried sick about you right now". Seth said.
"I missed you Uncle Seth, i wanted to see you". Sarah said.
"Sweetheart i missed you too and if you wanted to see me you could have asked your brother to bring you up here". Seth said.
"He's too busy for me". Sarah said.
Seth sighed sitting down by his young niece throwing his arm around her.
"Sweetheart that's not true your brother always has time for you". Seth said.
"Not these days he's always busy doing something and it's like i'm becoming invisible to him soon he'll forget all about me". Sarah said.
"Hey that's not true and you know it". Seth said firmly.
"It's starting to feel like it". Sarah mumbled.
Just then Seth's phone started to ring as he saw who was calling. "It's your brother".
"I guess your gonna tell him i'm here aren't you". Sarah said.
"I have to Sarah he's out of his mind right now looking for you". Seth said.
He then picked up the phone.
-Hey Dean. Seth answered.
-Seth please tell me Sarah's there with you. Dean said.
Seth looked at his young niece who was about to fall asleep soon.
-Yeah she's right here. Seth said.
-Thank god. Put her on the phone. Dean replied.
Seth handed the phone to Sarah who took it.
-Hi De. Sarah said.
-Sarah Nicole Ambrose you are in so much trouble when i get up there. Dean said strictly.
-I'm sorry Dean. Sarah said.
-We'll discuss this more when i get up there. Dean said.
-Alright. I love you Dean. Sarah said.
-I love you too sweetheart. Dean said.
Just then the phone went out and Sarah rubbed her eyes as she was still tired from her trip.
"Sweetheart why don't you go rest and i'll wake you when your brother gets here". Seth said.
"Ok". Sarah said.
Sarah then went up to the guest room Seth had made up for her then he sat down and propped his knee up resting it just as his dog went to follow Sarah upstairs then he cut the tv on watching it waiting for Dean.
While
Dean threw all his bags together in the back of his car just as Roman did then Roman took the car key from Dean who was still hyped up to drive.
"I'll drive your still too wound up". Roman said.
"Alright". Dean said.
The two then left off for Davenport and during the trip Dean was silent the whole time.
"Something on your mind?" Roman asked.
"Am i a bad brother Rome?" Dean asked.
"Where the hell is that coming from?" Roman asked.
"I mean why else would she run away". Dean said.
"She's probably feeling alone right now Dean, Seth's out for almost 9 months, the two of us are always busy. She was looking for attention, mainly from you". Roman said.
"Why didn't she say anything?" Dean asked.
"I don't know you gotta ask her". Roman said.
"This is probably my fault i didn't pay her any attention unless she got in trouble if i had paid her more attention then this wouldn't have happened". Dean said.
"Dean i'm gonna say this once this wasn't your fault. I get it the job comes first you always wanna make sure that Sarah is taken care of but you also have to make time for her, the only attention you give her is when she's in trouble other than that you've been training, going to signings and other stuff. She felt alone and wanted away to get your attention". Roman said.
"I think she got it". Dean said.
Dean threw his head back on the seat as Roman continued to drive, they stopped for gas and so they can stretch their legs then they were back on the road. Soon they were in Davenport now they had to get to Seth's place and they were there after a 15 minute drive, Dean was the first one out of the car as he jumped out and practically ran to the door then Roman followed. Seth was watching a movie when he had heard knocking on the door so he slowly got up walking to the door and opened it to see his two best friends.
"Hey guys". Seth said bro hugging them.
"Hey Seth". Roman said.
"Sup man". Dean said.
"Come in and before you ask Sarah's fine, she's up in her room asleep". Seth said.
That made Dean feel somewhat relieved but not fully until he saw his sister.
"Did she tell you why she ran away?" Dean asked.
"She said she's been feeling alone". Seth said.
"This is all my fault". Dean muttered.
"How could it be your fault". Seth replied.
"I haven't had any time with her ever since your injury she's been acting out, mouthing off, the only attention I've been giving her is if she's acting out". Dean said.
"Acting out how?" Seth asked.
"She hasn't told you?" Roman asked.
"Dude she's worse than when i went out, she's getting into trouble, mouthing off, you name it". Dean said.
"Damn". Seth muttered.
"She's even cursed at Dean". Roman said.
"We can't be talking about the same kid here". Seth said.
Seth knew his niece and he couldn't believe what he had just heard.
"It's true Uncle Seth". Sarah said from the top of the steps.
"Oh my god Sarah". Dean said.
He jumped at the stairs going two at a time before he swept up his sister holding her close kissing her head repeatedly.
"Sweetheart do you know how worried i was about you". Dean said.
"I just wanted your attention and i didn't know how to get it". Sarah said.
"Sweetheart if you wanted my attention this wasn't the way to do it, why didn't you just tell me". Dean said.
"You were always so busy". Sarah said.
"Sweetheart i don't care if i'm busy or not if you wanna spend time with me just say so, when i woke up this morning and i didn't see you i went out of my mind worrying about you". Dean said.
"I'm sorry for scaring you like that Dean". Sarah said.
Dean just hugged his sister tighter and kissed her temple.
"Sweetheart next time your feeling alone come to one of us, you can call me, go to your brother, or go to Roman i'm sure one of us will help you". Seth said.
"He's right baby girl, why didn't you come to one of us". Roman replied.
"I didn't know how to tell you". Sarah whispered.
"Well next time just come to us and we'll figure it out". Dean said.
"Your not mad at me are you?" Sarah asked her brother.
"A little but this doesn't mean your off the hook, your still grounded. But i do promise to spend more time with you after your grounding is over". Dean said.
"I do too". Roman said.
"And after i come back we can spend all the time we want together". Seth said.
Sarah smiled and hugged the three men then stayed in her brother's arms the rest of the time.
