Now that Seth had returned from his injury, he, Dean and Roman were as tight as ever. This time nothing could break them apart, no championship, not the authority, nothing. They also had Sarah under watch and protection everywhere she and they went. Dean never let his sister out of his sight for too long. Sarah was more than estaticed to finally have her small family back together. They had kept planning to fully take down the authority once and for all.
They were getting ready for the show that night, Dean was packing his and his sister's stuff, Seth offered to do the young girl's hair. He was only used to a small bun in his two toned style hair, Sarah's hair was like her brother's but longer. He had no idea how to do a girl's hair.
Every time he brushed a tangled part of her long dirty blonde hair she would jerk her head he would mutter under his breath how even the smallest thing she would do she would act just like her brother.
"Sarah, quit jerking your head, Dean, how do you deal with this?" Seth asked, trying to brush her tangled hair.
"Oh I forgot to tell you she's tender headed, she hates getting her hair done" Dean teased.
"Now you tell me?"
"I told you I'd do it but you offered. Sarah sit still so he can finish" Dean looked at his sister on the last part.
"I can't help it, it hurts" Sarah groaned, jerking her head away.
"Well if you didn't wait a whole week to brush your hair it wouldn't hurt"
"Dean, can I do something different with my hair?"
"Depends" He zipped up the suitcase.
"I wanna add some color to my hair do you think-" before she could finish Dean cut her off.
"You're not dying your hair"
"But Dean, please" She lowered her voice innocently.
"But Sarah" He mocked in the same mocking voice she used, then went back to his voice. "Sweetheart, your hair is beautiful just the way it is. I don't want you to change it. You don't have to change anything about yourself"
"Do you think at some point when I'm older can I at least bleach some of it like Uncle Seth?"
"Not in this lifetime or the next sweetheart"
"Dean, has anyone told you that you're gonna be a hell of a lot of fun when Sarah's older?" Seth asked, finally getting the tangles and knots out of her hair and pulling it back. "First it starts with the hair, then clothes, then dating and boys"
"What delusion world are you living in? My little girl ain't dating in this lifetime. And for your information, Sarah's clothes are just fine" Dean spoke finishing packing his sister's purple suitcase.
The eleven year old looked at her brother. "De, about half my shirts are long sleeves, you hate all the shorts, skirts and dresses I pick out. I have just about all jeans"
"Those shorts, skirts and dresses were all too short"
She rolled her eyes. "They were normal length, anything knee length you find short"
"You so go overboard" Seth told him with a chuckle.
"You'll understand one day" Dean returned the chuckle.
After making sure they were packed for the arena they left heading there. Roman had already been there, he left early needing to meet Jimmy and Jey. Once they arrived Dean kept his sister close between him and Seth. When they got inside they were met by a livid Triple H.
Sarah found herself being pulled slightly close to her brother, his arm going around her protectively. Dean moved slightly in front of her as if he was guarding her. Seth had stood behind her.
"Something we can help you with baldly?" Sarah asked.
He ignored the young girl and looked at Dean and Seth. "Just here to give you two some news. You're both gonna be in singles matches tonight. Seth you're going one on one with me, Dean you'll be facing the beast Brock Lesnar" Triple H told them.
"You can't make my brother face him!" Sarah voiced her concern, moving her brother's arm. "Brock will destroy my brother"
"Well that doesn't seem like my problem now does it shrimp?" The COO mocked the young girl.
"Call the match off or else"
"Or else what?"
A scowl was planted on her face and she tried to move towards him only to be held back by her brother tightening his grip on her. Triple H just smirked at her.
"That's what I thought" With that said he walked away.
Sarah struggled in her brother's hold; he loosened it and bent down to her level. "Sweetheart it ain't worth it, Seth and I can handle ourselves in the ring. Remember it's our job to protect you, you don't have to protect us"
"Your brother's right sweetheart, we protect you not the other way around. We can take care of ourselves" Seth added.
"Dean, Brock isn't just some other competitor he can really hurt you. I don't think he's even human. He has no control. I know you like fighting in the ring but tonight forfeit the match, don't go out there. Please. I won't watch you get demolished by that..that" Before she could finish another voice spoke.
"That what?" It was no other than Brock's manager, Paul Heyman.
Her eyes looked over to him as a glare formed in her eyes. "Nobody's talking to you, you bald ugly walrus"
Normally Dean didn't like it when his sister talked back to adults. He felt he could make this one exception. Just as the middle aged manager could move towards her, Dean stood to his full height and quickly stood protectively in front of his sister just as Seth stepped forward.
Before either man could say anything a different voice did. "Touch her Heyman and that'll be the last thing you do" When the anonymous voice spoke the person came forward and revealed to be CM Punk.
When Heyman saw his former client he just backed away remembering the old beating Punk gave him. Brock then stepped forward getting nose to nose with Dean. Sarah looked at the former UFC fighter and noticed a slight height difference between him and her brother, with her short frame a lot of the wrestlers looked intimidating to her, especially Brock. She grabbed her brother's hand.
"Dean, don't. Please don't" Sarah told her brother.
"She's right man, not here" Seth agreed with his niece.
Brock and Paul left but Dean wasn't stupid he kept his guard up around his sister. He knew he was protective by nature but for as long as he could remember his sister brought out something in him that he didn't want people to know. He often got told that his sister had more influence on him than anyone else.
Punk finally stepped forward and looked at the two men. "Don't worry guys, I got your backs. And shorty here"
"Thanks man" Dean said gratefully, aside from the women of course there were very few superstars he trusted with his sister. Some still hated him from the early Shield days.
Randy just watched from afar he knew that Seth was tighter with Dean, Sarah and Roman more now than he ever was and nothing would change that. He then went to his locker room and started doing some research and found something interesting.
"This is perfect, y'all won't be together much longer" he muttered to himself.
He was conflicted with slipping this information off to Seth, it could potentially start a fight between Dean and Seth if not bring them closer together. He didn't know what to do.
Soon Raw was starting and Dean was changing for his match with Lesnar, Sarah still didn't like that her brother was fighting him. A guy called the Beast Incarnate was never a good thing. When he was finally dressed in his loose fitting tank top and jeans he sat down to tie his boots.
"Dean I want you to forfeit the match with Brock, it's not safe. He's not safe. Please don't do this" Sarah pleaded with her brother. "That prick Triple H is doing this to punish you, just like he's gonna punish Uncle Seth. Brock isn't like Kane, Randy or any of the others. Brock could seriously hurt you. I don't want you getting hurt again. Forfeit the match"
"Come here sweetheart" he opened his arms for her.
She simply walked to her brother's hold as she sat on his knee, his arms wrapped around her loosely but protectively. "I know you worry about me when I go and fight but I can handle it, it's what I signed up for. And no matter how much I get hurt, battered, bruised, that'll never stop me from protecting you. Nothing will ever stop me from being with my most precious gift of all"
She turned and hugged her brother. "I love you daddy" She hadn't realized what she had said.
Dean felt his heart swell. She called him daddy. Sure he was like her father, he raised her since she was a baby and he was the other father figure she had. He pressed a kiss to her temple.
"I love you too sweetheart, so much"
Meanwhile
Seth was in his locker room getting changed and ready when something slid under his door and he saw the folder and frowned picking it up. He opened the top of the folder to see a bunch of papers and he was reading them, his eyes widening. He needed to talk to Dean. Now.
He kept the papers firm in his hand and went to Dean's locker room then just started to beat on the door. It was opened by Sarah, the young girl frowned. "Uncle Seth, what's wrong?"
"Is your brother still here?" He kept his voice calm with her.
"He's taping his hands for his match. Dean, it's for you"
Dean came up and sent his sister back to watch Raw and stepped outside closing the door.
"What's up?"
"When were you gonna tell me Dean?"
"Tell you what? The hell are you talking about?"
"What the hell I'm talking about is the fact that you've been lying to me for all this time!"
"Lying about what?"
"That you're my brother!"
