Dracula and the male monsters entered the east wing, where they found Emily backed into a corner with a terrified look on her face as the female monsters and Elder Gutknecht looked at her with concern.
"What's going on?" Asked Dracula.
"I gave Emily a potion and some eye drops to help her regain her memories of her past life, it worked, but then she remembered the traumatic way she died and now I believe she is hallucinating and seeing all of us as the man that killed her." Said Elder Gutknecht.
Dracula turned to Emily with a concerned look on his face for the undead woman. He took a deep breath and took a few steps towards her as he summoned his hypnotic powers to his aid to try and break through the hallucinations Emily was seeing.
"Stay back!" Whimpered Emily fearfully.
"It's ok Emily, no one is here to hurt you. You are among friends." Said Dracula in a calm voice.
Emily looked at the Barkis before her as he began to vanish and be replaced by Dracula.
"Dracula?" Asked Emily.
"It's me, Emily. I promise to protect you and make sure no harm comes to you, because I love you." Said Dracula as he embraced Emily.
"I love you too." Said Emily right before she kissed Dracula on the lips.
Dracula was momentarily surprised by the kiss, but he leaned into. The other monsters looked onto the scene with joy and awe for their friends.
"I already hear wedding bells!" Said Griffin happily.
Dracula and Emily stopped kissing and smiled at each other. It was a happy moment for the two of them. Dracula who had lost a loved one now found a new love and Emily who had suffered from a false love now had a true love.
To be continued.
