(A/N): Hey Guys! So, there's one more chapter after this to upload, then all of the pre-written chapters will be dried up. I'll be going to sleep soon, so that chapter may or may not get uploaded tonight, but either way, it'll be up by tomorrow. Hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

Sirius

Later that night, after the feast, James and I cornered Leo's little sister in a deserted hallway.

"What- What are you doing?" Mia questioned as we backed her against a wall- not looking scared, but instead, rather confused.

"Look, Mia, I know you're extremely loyal to Leo- we all are- but we're worried about him." James gushed. "Why does he hate Jonothan all of a sudden? Why was he upset when he visited Elaine?" Mia cringed, obviously concerned, but still wanting to get out of saying something.

"The answers to those questions are the same, Potter. I can't tell you what it is... but I can tell you you're right to be worried."

Leo

At home, my room had been my refuge. Though, I guess, with vampires in the house, I only got to pretend to be alone...

Back when I lived with my mother, the only room I could usually avoid her in was Mia's bedroom.

And here, at Hogwarts... I always found myself atop the astronomy tower.

I only realised I was crying when a gust of wind hit my face, leaving the wet trails cold and sticky in it's wake.

"What's wrong?" I didn't even need to look to see who it was, my hand shooting up in order to wipe the tears away before turning.

"It's nothing, Dahrya." Cautiously, she moved forward, sitting next to me though a few inches back from the edge.

"Leo..." I cocked an eyebrow, hearing the almost fear in her voice.

"What do you need, love?" Her head snapped up, and I smiled lightly. "One of my many talents, I can always tell when someone needs something." Dahrya bit her lip.

"Is that a vampire thing, or...?" I tilted my head.

"I suppose it could be. If you can smell desperation on them, it's usually true that they need something." I shrugged. "But why'd you come looking for me, Little Bit?" Dahrya jolted a little.

"I didn't come looking for you, I need to start my astronomy work- figured here was as good a place as any." My eyebrows furrowed.

"Do you need help?" Dahrya's eyebrows shot up.

"Do you even know anything about astronomy?" I shrugged, grinning slightly.

"I should hope so, I have been taking it for almost five years now." Dahrya hesitated, then reluctantly handed it over. "Labeling the constellations? Man, I forgot how easy second year was." Dahrya rolled her eyes.

"It's an extra credit thing- we haven't even had our first lesson yet, remember?" She said, leaving me to it for a minute or two. "So..." I paused, stilling the quill she had pulled from her bag.

"Yes?" I asked in reply, and she paused for a second, biting her lip.

"I was wondering if, since you're... like me, whether you might... help me." My eyebrows furrowed.

"Help you with what?" She winced.

"Well, just, with... everything." She said, hesitating slightly. "With my strength, and... controlling the blood lust..." I nodded, smiling slightly as I finally understood.

"You're having trouble not attacking people." I summarized, and, reluctantly, she nodded.

"A girl in my dorm cut her finger the other night, and I had to make her forget that she saw me in vamp face." My eyebrows shot up.

"'Vamp face'? Really? You could have at least picked something cool, or scientific sounding." Dahrya arched an eyebrow.

"What? Vamp face is good, straight to the point. Wait, why? What'd you call it?" I shrugged, smiling again.

"Sensory Alert." She rolled her eyes at me playfully, grinning back.

"See? it's dumb. Now I-" I cut her off.

"We have company."

(A/N): So, what did you think?

OOH, who is it?!

Please review and/or check out my other stories!

This chapter has had minor edits made to it on 20/02/23 - I originally made it seem like Leo had come up with the term 'Sensory Alert' on his own, when we later find out that it's widely used across the vampire community as a whole. We also later find out more information about WHY Dahrya isn't aware of these terms.
