(A/N): Hey Guys! So, there are a few things we know happen in the Marauders time at school, and this chapter contains one of them. Well, my take on one of them, anyway.
Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognize.

The next night was the full moon, and I was half-expecting Leo not to turn up, but when we reached the Entrance Hall, I was immediately drawn to a mop of blonde hair, and couldn't help smiling at the familiar sight of his broad shoulders towering high above the ground.
"Hey." Sirius tried, but it seemed like Leo hadn't heard- or at least, that's what he was pretending.
"Hi." I repeated, but all I got was a nod.
"Leo-" Peter tried to start, but was cut off as Leo started to sprout fur at an alarming rate.
"He's changing." Was the last thing he said before his speech facilities were hindered by the teeth in his mouth growing to the the teeth of his cheetah form, damn near separating his jaw before they, too, started to grow.
We shared a look before also starting to change, knowing Leo had more experience and would thus finish faster than us anyway.
It was dangerous to change out in the open like this, but Leo wouldn't have done it if someone were anywhere nearby, so I figured we were safe for now. Once we were fully transformed, we pushed the doors open with our shoulders- except for Peter of course.
Then we started out into the night to tend to Remus, but before we got the chance, however, I noticed something strange.
'Is- Is that Snape I can smell?'
The others seemed perplexed, but a second later, Sirius, also in his canine form, picked up the scent as well.
'Yeah, yeah it is!'
I jumped upon hearing Leo's growl from beside me.
'What the hell is he doing here?!'
Sirius let out a quiet whine, and I glanced at him for a second before forcing myself to focus on the issue at hand.
We sped up the pace, and Leo, in his cheetah form, reached him first. He slid to a stop on his four paws in front of Severus and blocked him from the tunnel, and I thanked Merlin that the knot on the tree had already been activated.
Snape's eyes bulged as Leo growled at him, but I was shocked into slowing down as something flew over his shoulder- Remus, in his gangly wolf form, headed straight for Snape.
I cursed myself for slowing, knowing Leo expected me to be his second in command during situations like this, but I quickly found someone had taken my place as James's stag form reared up, and nailed the wolf in the face with his back hoofs.
'Did I get him? Is he alive? Is he knocked out?' I gave a silent sigh of relief, seeing Remus was, indeed, very much unconscious.
'Yeah. He's out.'
Leo breathed. Then, he turned his eyes to Snape, who tensed at the sight of another predators eyes on him.
'James, take him back to the entrance hall and keep him there until morning- no matter what.'
James nodded, cast one last glance at Remus to make sure he was out of it before changing back into his regular self.
"What- Potter?" He asked, sounding perplexed and terrified, but James just grabbed his arm and started dragging him away embarrassingly easily.
Leo immediately turned his attention to the unconscious wolf in front of him, lowering his head and digging his teeth into Remus's back leg, and starting to drag him back into the tunnel.
'Elaine, the knot!'
For a second, I was confused, but then I saw the branches of the Whomping Willow starting to swing again, although when I went to move, Sirius was already there.
As soon as Sirius pressed the knot, the branches froze, and Leo dragged Remus the last little bit into the tunnel away from prying eyes.
'We'll talk later.'
Leo told only me, and I nodded weakly, moving forward to grip Remus's other back leg, trying to help after having frozen up.
'I'll need to talk to you, too, Sirius.'
This times wasn't private, and the other canine winced.
'I know.'
(A/N): So, what did you think?
Fairly short, I know, I'm sorry. But now you know why it's named after a Hannah Montana song.
