Ah, the joys of family life, Ianto thought. Slaving over a hot stove to feed the starving hordes, then cleaning up after them… Life had been so much simpler before the kids had come along. Leisurely meals for two, or three if you counted Nosy, which he supposed he should. Relaxing evenings watching TV, or early nights to enjoy a more adult form of entertainment, when their plans didn't get interrupted by the Rift, or Weevils, or invading aliens… On second thoughts, maybe life hadn't been all that relaxing, just a different kind of crazy.

"Dinner's ready!" he bellowed, then smiled to himself at the resulting thunder of approaching footsteps. It sounded like a herd of stampeding elephants, or maybe dinosaurs. No, dinosaurs were generally quieter. Elephants, definitely. "No running in the house! That goes for you too, Jack."

"I have to run to keep up with the Holy Terrors!" Jack protested.

"Wash your hands and faces before you come to the table." Ianto set out dinner for the Fluffs in their own dishes.

"Why do we have to wash when the Fluffs don't?" Gareth complained.

"They don't have hands."

The herd stampeded towards the bathroom.

"And use the soap!
