Ulrich362: Do you think Cathy can repair Timmy's locket?

bopdog111: Jewelry isn't her thing but she will try her best.

Ulrich362: If she can't she might know somebody who can. Then again what will happen when Anna and Cathy learn what happened?

bopdog111: Assuming he is able to talk to them about it.

Ulrich362: His grandmother's picture is in his locket. Well, enjoy the chapter.

Both Anna, and Timmy spend a few minutes in Cathy's mansion while Anna notices Timmy looked a little afraid being in the mansion, and the things cat related doesn't seem to help his mood.

"Is something wrong?" Anna asked him.

"Uh... I don't like mansions." he admitted to her.

"Huh, why?" Anna asked.

He looked down as she noticed some tears building in his eyes, "I..."

Her eyes widened before kneeling down. "Hey, are you alright?"

Timmy slowly shook his head no, "I... I ran away from home..."

"Do you want to talk about it? It's ok if you don't." Anna mentioned.

Timmy only gulped before saying, "I... I hated how I lived... Living with money all around me..."

Anna frowned before hugging him. "I'm sorry."

He hugged her back while trembling a little. A bit later Cathy walked back with his Locket. Seeing her Anna asked, "Is it fixed?"

"Yes." Cathy smiled giving it to Timmy. "Who is that a picture of?"

He hugged it close to him, "M-My Grandma."

"She's beautiful." Anna admitted.

"S-She was all I had... Before I lost her years ago." he started tearing up, "She had... She had raised me all my life before she left this world..."

The two of them looked stunned before hugging him.

"And... And..." Timmy trailed off struggling to keep talking, "My parents... They-They don't care about that... They we're only after the money Grandma left me when I'm 18."

"That's horrible." Anna whispered.

"I-I ran away... Only with my locket, and... The three cards she gave me before she died." Timmy looked at the three cards as he said that.

"You have all your happy memories too right?" Cathy asked.

He slowly nodded before he hugged her tight surprising Cathy, "Thank you so much for fixing it."

She hugged him back. "You're welcome."

He sat down looking at the cards, "But... What can I do now...? I can't use the cards since they sold my Deck..."

Anna noticed a Deckbox on his belt as he said that.

"What do you mean, you have a deck right there." Anna mentioned.

"Huh?" He looked blinking in surprise, "How did that get there?" He took it before opening it pulling out a card, "Dragon Ar... chiver?"

"Can I see?" Anna asked.

He handed her the card as she takes a look.

You can only activate this effect of "Dragon Archiver - Galycimo" once per turn.

"Huh, what is this?" Anna asked showing the card to Cathy.

"I have no idea, I've never seen anything like it before." Cathy admitted.

"You never seen a Pendulum Monster before?" he asked confused.

The two girls shook their heads at that.

"Yeah it's a bit new. It is a little underused." he admitted softly, "But Dragon Ar-chiver? I don't know a Deck like that."

"Can I see your cards really quick?" Cathy asked.

Hearing that he took the Deck out of the box handing it to her. Cathy looked through it to see if there were any Number Cards. Among them she sees only one.

Number 78: Number Archive

Cathy's eyes widened before she frowned and handed it back. "Well, maybe you'll figure it out one day."

Timmy looked at the Deck before asking, "Can... Can I duel one of you two? Pretty please?"

"Sure/No!" Anna and Cathy said simultaneously.

Timmy blinked at the mixed answers.

"Huh, why can't he duel..." Anna started only to notice the look in Cathy's eyes and frown. "Sorry, I guess you can't duel us."

"Huh why not?" Timmy asked saddened.

"It's too dangerous, you might get hurt." Cathy answered.

"Dangerous?" Timmy asked confused, "Why do you think Dueling will be dangerous? It's not dangerous it's suppose to be fun."

"It is normally... but it wouldn't be for you, it's complicated." Cathy told him.

"Is it cause you don't think I'm strong? I won several tournaments back home!" Timmy told her.

"It's not that." Cathy mentioned before looking down. "Actually... you being strong is even more dangerous."

"Why is it bad I'm a good duelist?" Timmy looked down before saying, "I'll just find someone else to duel then!"

He starts to run out as he said that. Anna's eyes widened before turning to Cathy.

"He has a Number, if he loses control..." Cathy started only for Anna's eyes to widen and run after Timmy.

Timmy ran out before freezing, "Whoa... What?"

He appeared in a abyss where he sees three dragons in front of him, "Huh? Starving Venom, Clear Wing, Dark Rebellion?"

They all roared as something rose in front of him which looks like a cylinder like bookshelf with a green 78 on it as he blinked where it said, "Stay your hand young one. I am not going to harm you, or your fellow dragons. I merely wish some assistance from all four of you."

The three dragons moved between Timmy and the bookshelf roaring defensively.

"Wait, wait!" Timmy told the dragons deciding to ask how their here now later before asking the bookshelf, "So... Who are you?"

"I am Number Archive, the 78th of my kind. I wish some assistance cause only those of a pure heart can have the ability to use me." the bookshelf now called Number Archive introduced, "It is a lot to ask but I had given you the power needed for ahead."

Timmy blinked before asking, "You mean... the Dragon Archivers?"

He couldn't sworn he felt something nod as Number Archive answered, "Yes. They hold the history of my kind, and the abilities to use special powers that can aid you in what is to come. But I need to know if you can help me."

Hearing that Timmy soon looked up at the dragons, "Guys... What do you think?"

Dark Rebellion looked hesitant but Clear Wing and Starving Venom looked like they didn't trust Number Archive.

"I understand if you can't. But I need someone to help me." Number Archive told Timmy.

Hearing that Timmy looked a bit determined before saying, "I... I will."

That made all four Duel monsters turn their attention to him as he said, "I don't know what it is you want help with... But I know for sure your a good guy."

Hearing that they felt Number Archive gave a small smile before saying, "Very well..." Something slipped from the bookshelf body as it said, "Then please this will aid you for what will happen now."

Timmy takes it as it glowed bright.

When the light fade he appears back at where he was before, "Hey..." He looked around confused, "Where did they go?"

"Timmy stop!" called a female voice.

Hearing that he turned around seeing Anna running over, "Miss Anna."

"Are you ok, you haven't dueled anyone yet have you?" she asked him.

"No." Timmy shook his head.

Anna let out a sigh of relief. "Come on, there's someone you need to meet."

Hearing that he nodded before walking with Anna. They walked to a school where she noticed a group of people talking. "Yuma!"

"Huh?" a pink haired boy wearing a red vest, and white pants turned over, "Uh, who are you?"

Anna frowned before shaking her head. "We have a problem."

"What's up?" Yuma asked her.

"A Number, it hasn't taken over yet but... it's in Timmy's deck." Anna answered.

Yuma looks at Timmy, "You mean this kid?"

A white being with a green eye, and blue eye suddenly appeared beside him, "He isn't baring the mark of a Number but I can feel a Number's presence from this kid."

Yuma nodded before noticing Timmy looking shocked, "What?"

"Who... Is that?" Timmy asked seeing the being which surprised most of everyone including the being.

"You... you can see Astral?" a girl with dark green hair asked in shock.

"Astral?" Timmy asked hearing that, "Is that his name?"

"Interesting... Someone else other then Yuma can see me." the being now called Astral said intrigued cupping his chin in thought, "So who are you young man?"

"I'm... I'm Timmy Wixn mister." Timmy said politely bowing.

Astral nodded before asking, "So what Number is it you have?"

Confused Timmy looked into his Deck before showing Number Archive to him. Astral stared at it before widening his eyes telling Yuma, "Yuma you need to duel this boy."

"Huh, what's wrong is his Number that dangerous?" Yuma asked.

"Nothing like that but it's a rather special one if it choses him. Only those with the purist of hearts can wield the Number he's holding right now." Astral explained.

"A pure heart huh, in that case I'll be glad to duel him." Yuma smiled. "My name's Yuma Tsukumo, let's have a great match Timmy."

Timmy slowly nodded hearing that.

"Duel Disk go!" Yuma called as his Duel Disk formed ready as he placed a visor on, "Duel Gazer! Let's roll!"

Timmy placed a blue one on his head which shapes around his eyes (Think of Tagoma's Scouter), and prepared his Duel Disk.

"Duel Interface Set. Augmented Reality Vision Link Established." the computer said as all the visors glowed.

"LET'S DUEL!"

One thing Timmy notices is that the LP are 4000 instead of the usual 8000 which doesn't make sense. Before realizing he is in a Yu-Gi-Oh! anime which definitely explained a few things before Timmy asked, "Uh, Mr. Tsukumo? Can I go first please?"

"Huh, oh sure thing." Yuma nodded. "You can just call me Yuma though."

Timmy 1st Turn:

Timmy also almost forgotten that the anime allows players who go first can draw which he did looking over his hand curiously over the Deck, 'I never had a Deck like this before... I hope, I don't mess up...' Soon deciding he nodded taking a card, "Okay, I'll start by summoning Dragon Archiver - Yggdrasil!"

At that what rose was a green scaled dragon wearing a blue wizard librarian robe that has white edges, and having a green sash while having a monocole at his left eye, and holding a tome in the other with a small white beard, and a small wise grin.

"Whoa, that's different." Yuma admitted seeing the monster.

"I can feel his Deck is something unimaginable." Astral admitted to Yuma.

"Well now I'll place a card down, and then activate the Continuous Spell, Archive of the Dragons." a Continuous Spell showing Yggdrasil along with several other dragon librarians rose up gathering around a large library table around books.

Yggdrasil waved before vanishing only to reappear on Yuma's field.

"Huh, why is your monster on my field?" Yuma asked in confusion.

Timmy read the spell's effect, "Uh, 'During each End Phase: Target 1 "Dragon Archiver" monster on the field, change control of that target to the controller's opponent'."

"Why would a spell such as that give us a monster to use?" Astral asked confused, "Yuma, don't underestimate him something is up."

From that Timmy's spell started to glow.

"Huh, what's going on now?" Yuma asked him.

Timmy looked at the spell reading, "Uh, 'Once per turn, if a player activates the effect of a "Dragon Archiver" monster: Their opponent can draw 1 card, and if that card is a Monster Card, they can Special Summon that monster from their hand, otherwise send that card to the GY'."

The Magician charged punching Rinosik destroying it as Timmy grunted stepping back a little.

"Now I'll have your monster attack you directly." Yuma mentioned.

It charged before Timmy then called, "I activate, Archiver Defense!"

A trap card flipped which shows of Rinosik, and Yggdrasil stacking books while preforming experiments.

"A trap to stop your attack, it seems you underestimated your opponent." Astral told Yuma.

"And... You also take 1000 points of damage." Timmy added.

"And Scale 6, Dragon Archiver - Ustuzul, I set the Pendulum Scale!"

Timmy gave a cry as he placed them at the far sides of his Duel Disk which sprouts in rainbow letters, "PENDULUM" before a blue robed blue scaled dragon librarian with gold eyes holding a bookstick, and a green scaled dragon librarian having a black robe rose up.

Yuma's eyes widened in shock.

"That... amazing." Anna whispered in awe.

Looking confused Timmy asked, "You guys never seen a Synchro Summon?"

They all shook their heads.

"Oh... Well Synchro came before Xyz, and you take a what's called a Tuner Monster, and a monster that isn't a Tuner, and add there levels together. Then you get to summon a Synchro monster recognizable by their white monster card appearances as long as their levels are equal to the level of both the Tuner, and non-Tuner monster." Timmy explained to them how Synchro works.

"Wait, so the monsters don't need to be the same level?" Tori asked in shock.

"That changes everything." Yuma mentioned only to pause. "Wait, where are your monster's Overlay Units?"

Timmy hearing that blinked before realizing, "Oh you mean the orbs... Synchro monsters don't need those."

"Astral... just who is he?" Yuma asked nervously.

"I don't know, and that worries me. What is good is that he is of pure of heart." Astral admitted to Yuma, "Now get ready it looks like he's ready to attack."

Timmy then called, "And then the effects of my Galycimo, and Yggdrasil activates! But first Archive of the Dragon's effect goes off." His spell glowed as he explained, "Since I'm using a Dragon Archiver's ability, you can draw a card. If it's a monster you can summon it. But if you don't you got to discard it instead."

Yuma nodded drawing his card only for his eyes to widen. "Not good, I drew Double or Nothing!"

"Would've been useful later..." Astral admitted as Yuma discarded the spell.

"First Yggdrasil summons a new Dragon Archiver to either our fields. So I'll summon a second Dingernell!" Timmy said as a second monster appeared on his field.

Dragon Archiver - Dingernell: (Attack Position)

"And now Clear Wing attack Gagaga Magician!" Clear Wing shot at the sky amazing everyone at how much she is before charging as winds build around her wings, "Spinstorm Sky Strike!"

Spinning around with around her like a tornado she shot down at Gagaga Magician.

Yuma cried out as his monster shattered.

"And now Dingernell attack him directly!"

Dingernell charged a spell between his hands before firing a water spell at Yuma. Yuma cried out as the water hit him.

"Yeah how is he so powerful?" Tori asked shocked.

Anna at this mentioned, "He said he had won several tournaments back at where he lives."

"Several?" Yuma asked hearing that.

"Well a couple but yeah, I did won small tournaments." Timmy admitted rubbing his head.

"Yuma... perhaps this young man could assist us." Astral mentioned.

Yuma turned to him before nodding, "Yeah, I get how ya feel... But still there's only one way to make sure. We gotta summon Utopia for him to try to beat a Number."

"Yuma, you have Gagaga Girl, Wonder Wand, Acorno, and Xyz Reflect in your hand... you don't have any card currently capable of stopping his final attack on your life points." Astral pointed out. "Even your set card is unable to defend you from this attack."

That was before he noticed Rinosik is in defense mode.

"Huh?" Yuma asked seeing that. "Wait, why isn't your monster in attack mode? You could have won the duel."

"I thought your set card might be a Mirror Force or something that could stop my attacks, and leave me defenseless." Timmy answered.

Timmy nodded as Rinosik appeared on Yuma's field due to Archive of the Dragon's effect.

Shocked Timmy watched as Utopia formed two large sun swords charging up to attack before he called, "Okay! I banish Archive Renewal from my graveyard to activate it's effect!"

"Huh?" Yuma asked hearing that.

"During battle if our monsters attack points are equal or higher then both our current Life Points right now both our monsters are destroyed!" Both Utopia, and Clear Wing were destroyed before he added, "And then we both take damage equal to their attack points!"

"Wait, but that's 5000 points of damage each!" Yuma realized in shock.

Magical blasts swirled around the field striking both duelists causing them to land on their backs.

DRAW!

Timmy took a couple of breathes before admitting, "I can't believe it... It's been so long since I came so close to losing."

"Are you ok?" Anna asked walking over to him.

Timmy smiled up to her sitting up, "Yeah, Miss Anna. It's been too long since I had a duel like this."

She smiled at that.

Ulrich362: Timmy's first duel ends in a DRAW, though he definitely proved his skill and then some.

bopdog111: He was a small tournament champion, and he quickly adapted to the Deck, Number Archive given him, Dragon Archiver. A new Deck, I had created which focuses over Archiving on both player's Decks, and using different summons.

Ulrich362: Well it certainly is capable of that. So... what's going to happen next? It seems like he's impressing someone quite a bit.

bopdog111: Where we are stopped at SOUL in Barian now, Dark Mist.

Ulrich362: That's going to be a difficult challenge for him. See you in the next chapter.

bopdog111: Be sure to review!
