Author's Notes: Hi, readers. I would like to present what is probably the first Xena: Warrior Princess/Snow White and the Huntsman crossover. It is AU set four years after Snow White and the Huntsman with Xena: Warrior Princess as a part of medieval times and shows Eric, Snow White, and William crossing paths with a pregnant Xena, Solan, and Gabrielle and helping them care for injured and dying victims on both sides of a brutal civil war after finding a woudned man who turns out to be a figure from Xena's past. The idea for this crossover came to mind when I wondered what would happen if Xena: Warrior Princess was set in medieval times in which Xena, Solan, and Gabrielle crossed paths with Eric, Snow White in the middle of a civil war and helped each other care for the victims on both sides. As a result, it was born. I decided to do a prologue because it contains a great amount of detail that would take too long to cover in any chapter. The stories of Xena, Solan, and Gabrielle are different from the show, though a number of details were kept. This crossover is inspired by 'Is There a Doctor in the House' and 'God Fearing Child' but without the threat of the Greek gods going after Xena's unborn baby. I hope you enjoy this crossover. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Prologue

Four years had passed since Snow White and her army defeated Ravenna and her forces. She became queen of Tabor not long after. Life returned to the land after ten years of terror and violence, especially against the women whom Ravenna drained their youth and beauty to keep her looks from fading. The women's youth and beauty were restored, including Greta's. Tabor became prosperous once again, as did other towns and villages.

Fifteen years before Snow White's birth, Xena was born to Nelo and Cyrene in the Greek village of Amphipolis. Cyrene had a son, Toris, from a previous relationship with a young man named Jonas, who died from a deadly fall from the roof of her tavern while patching it when he was just two years old. When Xena was four years old, Lyceus was born, but he would never know his father as Nelo died in a wagon accident just three months later. She was very close to her brother and spent their days hunting, fishing, playing games, and taking walks. She taught herself to fight beginning when she was fifteen. He learned from her, though Cyrene was not fond of it. Other villagers took fighting lessons from her as well.

Three years later, Lyceus, Xena, and several villagers were attacked by a warlord known as Cortese and a band of his men while on a walk outside their village. They fought them very well. Unfortunately, Lyceus was severely wounded during the struggle. Xena and the villagers defeated Cortese and his men. She took Lyceus home and treated him for his injuries. He succumbed to them the next day. The entire family was devastated, especially Xena. Though Cyrene did not blame her for Lyceus's death, Xena decided to exile herself from her hometown as she felt responsible for it.

A year later, Xena was leader of a small but strong army. She spent her days raiding villages in the name of protecting Amphipolis. She warned them they would pay a hefty price if they allied with the enemies of her homeland. While traveling to Italy by sea, she discovered a stowaway on her ship. A girl called M'Lila revealed herself and fought off her men. She put pressure points on Xena's left leg as well as on a soldier's neck, which killed him. She was subdued quickly. She spoke French instead of Greek. Xena told a young man named Orion to translate for her. She said she would spare M'Lila if she taught her pressure points after removing them from her leg. Orion spoke to M'Lila, who agreed to do so. He said she was likely a runaway slave and had been kidnapped from Egypt.

M'Lila taught Xena how to do pressure points in her cabin. Xena learned very quickly. She spoke of how impressed she was with her fighting skills. She even invited her to stay with her on her ship. After reaching Italy, she focused on raiding villages there. M'Lila was not fond of what Xena was doing, but she continued to show caring and compassion to her. She even dubbed her a 'warrior princess.' Five months later, Xena and her army made camp after a successful raid on a village. She and M'Lila decided to take a walk together in a forest. They were attacked by a band of villagers hellbent on getting revenge for the raid. They fought them hard. A villager shot an arrow at Xena. M'Lila leapt in her path and took it to the chest. She was killed instantly. Xena was devastated and unleashed her rage on the villagers. She ended every one of their lives. She decided to have a new purpose in life. That was death.

Xena headed north to Hungary. She met Borias, who was the leader of a ruthless army. He was married to Natassa and had Belach with her. Xena negotiated merging her army with his. He agreed to allow her to join them. She forged a friendship with him, his wife, and his son. She occasionally babysat for Belach. Unfortunately, bandits kidnapped Natassa and Belach not very long after. They killed her and sold him into slavery. Borias was devastated over Natassa's death and Belach's disappearance, as was Xena. They searched for him, but they never found him. She became a source of comfort for him as they pillaged villages throughout Europe. They became romantically involved and began engaging in sexual intimacy. They grew more ruthless with each raid. He attempted to make a few alliances with kingdoms, but they were thwarted by her. He even began to question her ruthlessness as well as his own.

By the time Borias and Xena went to Greece a little over a year after his family's demise, she was heavily pregnant with their first child together. Dagnine and Satrina had come into their service by then. The army attacked a town called Johan and captured all the townspeople. Xena wanted to force them to burn it down, but Borias was against this thinking it was going too far. She ordered Dagnine to make a young man named Ben light a torch. Dagnine was about to obey when Borias attacked him and defeated him in a sword fight. More than half the army sided with Borias and helped defend the townspeople from the remaining soldiers. They drove Xena and her troops away. She vowed retaliation and made camp not far from Johan.

Despite betraying Xena, Borias still cared for her very much and did not want to lose another child. He went to see her at her camp after she ordered her army to attack Johan five days later. She had gone into labor. He did not know she had been drugged by Satrina, who was determined not to let him take her away as she intended to learn from her. Satrina stabbed him in the right leg and threw him out. He was attacked by Dagnine and engaged in a sword fight with him. He was at a disadvantage due to his wound. Satrina assisted in helping Xena give birth to her baby boy. Borias turned to go to her as Satrina took them to a waiting wagon. Dagnine threw his opponent's sword into his back, knocking him down. He walked up to him and twisted it. Borias caught a glimpse of mother and child. His last words were 'My son.' Xena began to cry at the sight of his body. The wagon left as his army defeated hers.

Xena realized her son would become a target for her enemies. She met with Ben, whom Borias had formed a friendship with, three days after the battle. She handed her baby over to him and spoke of his parentage. He accepted him as his own. She walked away, tears streaming down her face. He named the boy Solan. She continued her pillaging on villages and towns. This included Cirra, the hometown of Callisto. Her parents, Pankos and Arleia, and her sister, Frida, were killed in the attack. Her uncle Beckerus survived and raised her as his own. She vowed she would never cry again and was determined to get revenge on Xena. Xena also formed alliances with warlords such as Draco and Marcus. They did not last long.

Xena's evil exploits reached Tabor during the fourth year of Ravenna's reign. Ravenna enjoyed the tales of her raids and hoped to meet her one day if she ever came to the kingdom. Tales of her terrible reign spread throughout Europe. However, Xena began to question the path she was taking when she stopped three men from leaving an abandoned baby to die outside of a Greek town named Hefna three years later. By this time, Satrina was no longer in her service. She even stopped her army from attacking the town. Dagnine accused her of going soft and turned against her, as did nearly half her men. She and the rest defended the town and drove them off. She was amazed at her first good deed in her adult life. She let her men go, so they could live peaceful lives.

Xena decided to return to Amphipolis and give up her warrior ways. She was about to bury her armor on the outskirts when she spotted several young men and women being accosted by a group of bandits. She fought the bandits off. Gabrielle was amazed by her skills and asked her to take her with her. Xena declined and sent the group on their way to Poteidaia, including her sister Lila. She met up with Draco, who intended on raiding Amphipolis. He warned her not to go there, but she did not listen. She entered her mother's tavern. Cyrene greeted her coldly due to her sinful past, as did the other villagers. Xena tried to warn them about Draco's impending invasion, but they refused to hear her and sent her away. Gabrielle told Lila she intended on becoming a warrior with Xena's help and bid her goodbye. She followed Xena around. She showed much resourcefulness along the way. She was captured by a bandit, but she talked him into releasing her. She charmed a traveler into giving her a ride.

Draco and his warriors began laying waste to the valley. The villagers were convinced Xena was in cahoots with him and prepared to kill her as a mob. Gabrielle managed to talk them out of harming her. She and Xena visited Lyceus at the mausoleum. Xena spoke of how hard it was to be alone. Gabrielle entered and told her she was not alone. Xena challenged Draco to a fight on the scaffolding surrounding the village meeting hall. They agreed that the first to hit the floor will die. She managed to throw him to the floor. Instead of killing him, she let him go. He agreed to leave her hometown alone. Cyrene realized her daughter had changed for the better and forgave her for her dark past. Gabrielle met up with Xena at her campsite that night. The latter agreed to let the former come with her. Gabrielle helped her fight for the greater good and became best friends with her. She learned the ways of the warrior from her. She became as fierce and strong as Xena was. She eventually acquired a staff.

Xena's good exploits reached Tabor in the second to last year of Ravenna's reign. They inspired hope, faith, and strength in the kingdom. Ravenna became enraged that her idol had turned good and forbade by law speaking her name. If anyone was caught telling the stories, they would be executed. This did not stop guards and villagers from talking about Xena and Gabrielle. They would even joke about Xena putting what they called 'the pinch' on her enemies. The pinch was well known for cutting off blood flow to the brain. Xena used it to extract information from her enemies.

Xena and Gabrielle entered Johan after learning that Dagnine and his army intended to target it two years later. Ben and the other villagers weren't happy to see her. Solan was even less happy as he had been told by his adoptive father that she had killed his parents. He was even carrying Borias's sword. She didn't like her son wanted to be a warrior. Ben didn't agree either, but he wanted Solan to choose his own path. He told her the boy was not her son anymore, though he could see she had changed. She angrily responded Solan would always be that, no matter what. She told Gabrielle everything about her relationship with Borias. Gabrielle encouraged her to tell Solan the truth.

Xena visited Borias's grave and was angrily greeted by Solan. She saw him run off before she could reveal the truth and realized they had been watched by See'er, who had the ability to read lips and was using his spyglass. Dagnine found out from him about Solan being her son. He planned to capture him to use him as bait for a trap. Solan met Gabrielle outside the village and struck up a conversation with her. Dagnine and several men attacked them. Gabrielle defended herself with her staff, but she could not stop the men from capturing the boy. Xena sneaked into the camp and knocked Dagnine out. She freed Solan from his iron cage with the key. A few men attacked them. Xena fought them off but not before one hit Solan in his right arm very hard with a staff.

Xena and Solan escaped into the forest and hid in a cave. He complained about his arm hurting badly. She realized it was broken and used the scabbard as a splint after dulling the pain with pressure points. When she removed them, he groaned painfully and started to cry. She hugged him, and they began to bond. They set out for Johan. They were ambushed by Dagnine, but she defeated him and managed to get back to Ben, who was thankful to her for rescuing him. She gathered the townspeople in preparation for battle. Dagnine and his men invaded. He came face to face with Xena and engaged in a sword fight with her. He taunted her about sticking Borias's sword in his back. She unleashed her anger and beat him back with a series of strikes. She stabbed him in the stomach, killing him and avenging Borias's death. The townspeople succeeded in driving the army away. Xena met with Solan, whose arm had been resplinted by Gabrielle, by a river to bid him goodbye. He tossed the sword into the water and said he was not a warrior. She walked away with tears in her eyes. She wondered when would be the right time to tell him the truth about her being his mother and feared his reaction.

Xena and Gabrielle continued their quest for the greater good. The latter eventually made her first kill when she used a dagger owned by an attacking bandit to stab him in order to defend herself. She became very depressed, but she realized there were times she would have to kill, even if she did not want to. They returned to Johan to see Solan a year after Dagnine's fatal defeat, only to find Ben was dying from a lung infection. He asked Xena to raise Solan for him on his deathbed. She agreed, albeit reluctantly. Solan begged her not to leave him behind. She confessed to him that she was his mother. He was a little angry at first, but he accepted the revelation. She told him life on the road would not be easy. He was more than willing to take the risk. They went to Amphipolis, so Cyrene and Toris could meet him. Cyrene and Toris were elated to be a grandmother and uncle respectively. Gabrielle decided to have her long hair cut and acquired new weapons in the form of sais. She changed her outfit into a red bikini top and brown shorts that came down to her knees. She got a red jacket aligned with furs at the top and along the sides. She took to her new role as Solan's aunt.

Snow White lifted the law forbidding the speaking of the legendary Xena and Gabrielle. The stories of Xena's evil and heroic exploits spread through the land once again. Eric thought about leaving Tabor, but she convinced him to stay and confessed she was in love with him. He told her he felt the same way. They began a secret relationship. However, it did not take long for the court to learn of their romance. Many were not fond of it, especially William, who was also in love with her. He eventually realized she would only love him as a friend and decided to let her go. Eight months later, Eric proposed to Snow White during a horseback riding trip in a forest. She was surprised, but she accepted it. By this time, he had become her bodyguard and second-in-command. He wanted to remain as both after they married. She had no problem with it. Neither did her court. They married a month later. These tales spread throughout Europe.

Around the time of Eric and Snow White's wedding, Greta had been carrying on a nine-month relationship with a young nobleman known as Riley. He proposed to her during a walk around the courtyard. She accepted it immediately. Everyone was happy about their engagement. The couple married three months later. They announced they were leaving Tabor to travel. They returned after two years. She was heavily pregnant with their first child. She gave birth to a boy they named Lucas three weeks later. The parents decided to leave again when he was three months old.

A year later, Xena, Solan, and Gabrielle returned to Amphipolis to stay with Cyrene and Toris for an entire summer. They came across an injured stallion on the outskirts and took him to be treated by a veterinarian. Gabrielle bonded with him and practiced riding him. She named him Amber. Xena forged a friendship with a younger man named Kyle. It wasn't long before they fell in love and became sexually involved. Cyrene encouraged the relationship as she knew he was a good man. Kyle even became a father figure for Solan. He intended to leave Amphipolis and travel with the trio, so he could be with mother and son.

Unfortunately, Kyle was attacked and killed by a wild boar during a hunting trip two weeks before the end of the summer. Xena was devastated, as was everyone else. A month later, she began suffering from nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. They were in Sparta at the time, so she got checked out by a doctor who announced she was pregnant. She was shocked as it had been more than a decade since she had Solan. At the same time, she was very happy. Solan was delighted he would be a big brother. Xena decided to switch her usual clothes for a special maternity outfit that was decorated with armor at the top. The bottom consisted of a purple dress that allowed room for her expanding stomach. She got an open dark gray coat aligned with furs at the top.

Two months later, a middle-aged man from a village called Mela visited Tabor. He requested assistance because they had been mired in a very long drought that was threatening their dependence on the neighboring forest and rivers. Snow White agreed to his request. She, Eric, William, and many other volunteers delivered food, water, and medicine to Mela. The villagers were grateful for the supplies. The rains returned not long after. Snow White, Eric, and William decided to head to Mela to see how it was doing six months later. Little did they know that Xena, Solan, and Gabrielle were also travelling there.
