Prologue: Yo Joe

After reading Iron117Prime's story Code Prime I wanted to create a Code Geass fanfic with G.I. Joe, since the transformers have crossed over with the Joe's before, I'm using a mix of different series in the franchise and for the sake of not having to write descriptions everyone has their designs from RAH, except for Tunnel Rat, Ripcord and Mindbender who have their Renegades designs. Disclaimer time: I own nothing.

Cobra island…

In the not at all secret island of Cobra, its commander is impatiently waiting. "Hurry up Destro how long am I go9ing to have to wait for your machine to work?"

Destro sighs trying to concentrate on finishing his newest invention. "My dear Cobra Commander, this machine will be my greatest achievement as an inventor, I need to have my entire focus on perfecting it."

"Translation: You're annoying Destro darling Commander." Said Baroness.

Zartan suddenly appear being hidden the entire time camouflaged. "Please, like this invention of Destro's would actually work, it is impossible, a machine that allows us to travel to other universes, what would you even use it for?"

"Simply to travel to either a universe where we successfully rule the world so I can kill and betray that alternate me or one where America doesn't exist." Said Cobra Commander.

"Oh, I now understand your reasoning, no America no G.I. Joe." Said Baroness.

"And done, but I should warn you my dear Cobra Commander. If I turn this on it will require a large amount of energy and that will require a large amount of energy, the kind that will attract unwanted attention." Explained Destro.

"Then Tomax and Xamot will prepare the Crimson Guard and we will have B.A.T.S. to protect use until we can leave our universe." Ordered Cobra Commander.

Destro turned on his advanced machine causing a massive amount of energy that is, like Destro predicted, very noticeable with a pink and white colouring.

The Pitt…

The Pitt is a U.S. military base, but not for the army, navy, marines or even air force, it is the base of G.I. Joe America's daring highly trained special mission force, the mission: to defend freedom against cobra.

Mainframe is looking through the Joes computer when he finds a large surge of energy near, you guessed it right Cobra Island.

"Sir, we have a concerning amount of energy being traced to Cobra Island." Said Mainframe showing it to the Joe's leader General Hawk.

"Your right, I'll send a team of Joes to investigate, because I doubt Cobra's celebrating Christmas early." Said Hawk.

And so, Hawk called a team of G.I. Joe's for the mission which does include Mainframe encase they need his computer knowledge.

The other Joe's assembled are Duke, Lady Jaye, Tunnel Rat, Quick Kick, Jinx, her sensi Snake-Eyes, Roadblock, Sgt. Slaughter and Lifeline.

"Okay here' the mission. Cobra Island has a machine that is realizing a dangerous amount of energy and most likely is Destro's newest invention, we don't know what this machine is but if Cobra's involved, we can only assume the worst." Explained Hawk.

"So are mission is to infiltrate and destroy this machine before Cobra can use it." Said Duke.

"Right as always and you'll be leading the mission. Get ready. Yo Joe!"

"Yo Joe!"

On a plane currently being piloted by Ace it is know flying over the island which now has enough of an energy surge you can see it from across the globe.

"Okay this is going to be dangerous. We don't know what Destro has built but we just need to get down on the island and destroy it, quickly in and out." Said Duke.

"That's a good plan but what if we're caught?" asked Tunnel Rat.

"Wel then we give Cobra hell." Just as Duke said that Ace lets them now that they're in the drop off zone so with parachutes ready they jump.

"Yo Joe!"

With Cobra so focused on protecting their universe transporting machine they landed on the island safely.

"Good so far." Said Lady Jaye.

"Yeah so we should probably be expecting an ambush soon." Said Kick Quick.

"How right you are G.I. Joe's because today marks the day you are defeated once and for all." Said Storm Shadow with a small platoon of Crimson Guard members and B.A.T.S. in front of the entrance.

"Me, Lady Jaye and Roadblock, Mainframe and Lifeline will go forward the rest of you will deal with Storm Shadow." Ordered Duke.

The different Cobra soldiers started firing at the Joe's but Sgt. Slughter and Kick Quick start giving cover fire so that Duke and the others can get into the base easier.

A bunch of Crimson Guard members had the "genius" idea of trying to dogpile a guy named Slaughter that only led to him grabbing a knife one of them had in their belts and stabbing them with it and grabbing a gun firing at the Crimson Guard into he ended up on top of a pile of dead bodies.

"Sometimes I forget that his code name is slaughter." Remarked Kick Quick

Jinx and Tunnel Rat shiver remembering the training he put them through when they first joined G.I. Joe which is when Tunnel Rat remarks: "I will never."

Just then exploding shuriken's get thrown at them but they all luckily avoid.

Jinx just glares at Storm Shadow who begins to start talking: "Well, well it is a pleasure to see my orphan cousin even if we are enemies."

The word orphan angers Jinx greatly. "I am an orphan because of you!" she started running with a chain blade that's name currently escapes me.

"Follow her and don't let Jinx get hurt." Ordered Slaughter at Snake-Eyes who gave a nod and ran off.

Unfortunately, the three Joe's still have to deal with the B.A.T.S. firing lasers at them so them have to run for cover behind some rocks.

"Good thing Cobra has bad aim not matter if their soldiers are robots or human." Said Tunnel Rat.

"I think that's just bad guys in general." Said Quick Kick.

"But we can't just hide behind rocks forever, we need a plan." Said Slaughter.

"Well luckily I know a thing about explosions and dirt so why don't we place some explosives on the ground and have the B.A.T.S. chase us." Suggested Tunnel Rat.

"Better than nothing." Said the sergeant. "Let's do it."

After placing explosives in the area, Tunnel Rat decides to get the robots attention. "Over here you dumb pieces of scrap." Making themselves easy targets and using the trees to avoid the laser fire forcing the B.A.T.S. to chase them allowing the explosives to go off destroying the B.A.T.S. in a blaze of glory.

Back to the ninjas they are currently fighting on the trees with Snake-Eyes providing cover fire for Jinx trying to limit Storm Shadow's movements, unfortunately Storm Shadow is too agile and easily avoids the laser fire.

Jinx throws her bladed chain only for her cousin to jump and grab his sword to slice her with it but she blocks it with a sword of her own. Snake-Eyes jumps in ready to kick his former training partner but Strom Shadow catches the foot and leaves causing a ninja chase with them running on trees.

"I hope Duke and the others are doing better than us." Said Jinx.

Currently Duke is fighting Cobra Commander while Lady Jaye has managed to pin down Baroness with one of her spears so is helping Roadblock fight the twins and the Dreadnoks. Lifeline is a pacifist so he is providing support keeping Destro distracted while Mainframe examines the universe transporter.

"Well brother it seems that with the Dreadnoks help…

"… We will kill Roadblock and Lady Jaye." Said the twins.

But while they are talking Lady Jaye stabs Tomax in the ankle and the twins share any pain they feel to kneel down in pain but get knocked out when Roadblock punches Xamot in the face.

"One thing that makes fighting these two easy is that they share any pain they feel." Said Roadblock

"True but we still have the Dreadknoks to deal with." Said Lady Jaye who dodges buzzers saw and kicked him in the gut.

Ripper and Torch are then have their heads slammed together by Roadblock. "Not anymore."

Back to Duke vs Cobra Commander, Duke is giving a series of punches to the leader of the terrorist group. "All the countless innocent people you murdered, all the friends I lost, all just for power."

Cobra Commander starts to cackle in a maniacal way. "I never counted."

Duke pulls a gun at his head, while grabbing the commander by the neck. "I did."

"So, answer me how many of your friends have I or my men killed."

"Too many. Said Duke with disgust.

Mainframe has finished doing what he could to analyse Destro's machine. "Duke, I haven't figured out what the purpose of Destro's latest invention but the energy here easily makes it a weapon of mass destruction."

"That's not good we need to stop it." Said Lifeline.

"Your right but I can't disable it, we need to destroy it. But that will destroy everything in this island, including us." Said Mainframe.

"Duke if this thing is used it would be used to kills thousands." Said Roadblock.

"It might be the only way." Said Lady Jaye.

Just then their comm's go off and they hear their fellow Joe's voices.

"Do it we can't let Cobra use this as a weapon." Said Sgt. Slaughter.

"Same do it."

"At least they can say we went out with a bang."

"It has been an honour."

Duke hears the voices of his comrades and realizes what he has to do. He aims he gun at the machine, being the coward the commander is he starts to plead. "Please Duke! It can't end this way!"

"On the contrary Cobra Commander, I can't think of a better way to go out." Said Duke who fires a laser at the machine causing a chain reaction off energy expanding engulfing anything that gets absorbed in the energy. Duke believing he is about to die chooses these for his last words: "Yo Joe."

The Cobra members who are still conscious start running for their lives but they still get engulfed until the spread of energy reaches the entire island and finally disperses.

Back at G.I. Joe Headquarters…

With Breaker on comm's the remaining members of G.I. Joe hear the comm's break down on every member of the team sent to Cobra Island and with a satellite they have they learn about the utter destruction of Cobra Island.

"No, it can't be possible, Duke and the others…"

Flint slams his fist on the computer. "No Lady Jaye, Duke, Roadblock…"

Every member of the G.I. Joes begins mourning for their fallen comrades, even the stoic Hawk is clenching his fist thinking 'dammit.'

What they don't know is that their fellow Joe's are alive just not in this world.

Area 11…

Duke wakes up after believing that he sacrificed his life to finally stop Cobra realizes that isn't the case as he doubts Heaven smells like Tunnel Rat's socks in your face.

"Tunnel Rat get that out." Ordered Duke to which Tunnel Rat puts his sock and shoe back on.

"Sorry just needed to wake you up, Mainframe says he found out what happened and didn't want to explain again." Said Tunnel Rat.

Duke gets up and sees the others with Mainframe using an old beat-up computer.

"What did you find Mainframe I thought? we would all perish when I destroyed that machine."

Mainframe decides to explain now that he has everyone to explain. "I don't think Destro's device was a bomb or weapon but a way to travel to other universes."

"I feel like multiverse is a little overdone." Said Kick Quick.

"What makes you so sure of this theory Mainframe?" asked Sgt Slaughter.

"When I found this computer and started getting it to work, I started trying to get in touch with headquarters but I couldn't. then I started researching about anything related to G.I. Joe and America but I couldn't find anything."

"How's that possible?" asked Roadblock.

"Because in this universe Washington lost the revolutionary war." Mainframes words cause the Joe's to gasp in shock.

"Then we really are in another universe." Said Lady Jaye.

"Yeah, and in our countries, place is the, and I use the term loosely, Holy Britannian Empire, they control one third of the world."

"I'm guessing by conquering." Said Lifeline.

"Yes, with these advanced machines called Knightmares." Said Mainframe showing them videos of this empires war machines easily destroying tanks, helicopters as if the are paper.

"Impressive machines, hasn't Cobra used similar tech against us?" asked Slaughter.

"Your right but never enough be used for large scale warfare." Said Lifeline not happy seeing these or wanting to know about the people these Britannian soldiers killed in the name of conquest.

"Anything else to tell us about Britannia?" asked Duke.

"Its current emperor is Charles Zi Britannia, and I'm not joking has over 100 consorts, many of which have birthed children for him. Britannia believes that the strong are to rule over and destroy the weak and if propaganda is to be believed Britannian's see themselves as greater than everyone. When they conquer a nation, it is renamed as an area and given a number."

"Where are we? Better Yet I hope it is near this Charles guys house so I can give him a piece of my mind." Said Slaughter.

"We're in Area 11, or Japan, it was conquered 7 years ago. When they lost the Japanese were kicked out of their homes and forced into ghettos, and as far as everyone who isn't Japanese is concerned they aren't Japanese they are eleven's."

When Mainframe revealed this the Joe's were all horrified, enraged and disgusted by how this Britannian empire has conquered and stolen the lives and homes of countries such as Japan, even being labelled as numbers as if they aren't even human once Britannia takes over.

"Sounds like Charles Zi Britania is just another fascist who what's power." Said Lady Jaye.

"Agreed Britannia's empire seems like a fusion between the British Empire and the Third Reich." Said Duke.

Jinx and Quick Kick haven't said much mostly out of anger since they themselves are Japanese, or half in Kick Quick's case but they aren't happy.

"We have to stop Britannia; they have ruined so much." Said Jinx.

"Agreed, our mission is to defend freedom, we have to help the Japanese." Said Quick Kick.

"Correction our mission is only to defend our world's freedom, look I got nothing against the Japanese but we can't take on an entire empire by ourselves." Said Tunnel Rat.

"He's right." Said Duke shocking everyone. "Not about our mission but that we wouldn't be able to defeat an entire empire. Right now we need more information. Mainframe did Britannia place anyone of importance in charge of Japan."

"Clovis La Britania the third prince, although from my research he is more of an artist or actor instead of a politician or soldier is the current viceroy."

"Any other countries not under Britannia's control?" asked Roadblock.

"There are two other superpowers and most countries Britannia hasn't already fallen under Britannia's control are under either the European Union or the Chinese Federation. Also, the Middle Eastern Federation but they are currently fighting a Britannian invasion."

"Okay before we make a plan, I have an idea." Said Tunnel Rat. "Maybe we all died when Duke shot that machine and we're just hallucinating before death. Because everything we're seeing is impossible."

That's when Duke points out. "More impossible than alien robots that transform into cars?"

"Or a conch shell that controls the minds of men?" Lady Jaye adds.

"Or time travelling to Ancient Greece?" said Slaughter.

"We've all seen a lot of weird things while fighting Cobra Tunnel Rat, an alternate universe doesn't sound too farfetched." Said Lifeline.

Tunnel Rat just sighs realizing he won't convince anyone.

"Now that we know at least about Britannia, I think Snake-Eyes, Jinx, Quick Kick and Tunnel Rat should go to the nearest ghetto and infiltrate, should allow you four to blend in, I doubt many of Japan's people gave up so easily, learn about any possibly rebel groups or freedom fighters." Said Duke.

"The nearest one is in Shinjuku." Said Mainframe so they head off there although Tunnel Rat muttered that they are all gonna die.

"Duke, do you really think a small group of soldiers can take down an empire?" asked Roadblock.

"I don't know but in history often the most important changes our because of one man, maybe we'll find them to help us start a revolution and give the people of not just Japan but everywhere Britannia has conquered back their freedom."

"I just realized, if we survived what about Cobra." Said Lifeline

The Emperor's personal sanctuary…

Charles Zi Britannia has learned of many things that others would believe to be impossible but a man from another universe if it wasn't for his Geass's ability to alter memories, he wouldn't believe it if he didn't look through his memories.

"I must say after hearing your story I still have a hard time believing even after the technology you have shown me."

"I take it you don't believe us." Said the Commander.

"I never said that, but I must ask why you were interested in arriving in another universe?" asked Charles.

"Simple I want an alliance…

I'm going to end it here. The second half was mostly an exposition dump but that was so the Joe's know what kind of world they are now in. Also, despite the Transformers reference Optimus Prime and company will not be appearing since there is already a great Transformers Code Geass crossover Fanfic, I have some ideas for a crossover with Transformers either RWBY or Kingdom Hearts haven't decided. Both the Joe's and Cobra have guns that shoot lasers which would do more damage than bullets in my opinion and have better tech in their world, obviously not every character on either side will be there in the beginning so I only picked a small team so sorry if your favorite character didn't appear. Finally who do you think had the worse father Lelouch or Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender.
