AN bleuxe: Warning this chapter contains spoilers in a way on how all the Kizuki died I thought I warn before someone gets mad at me. Anyways I've been wanting to write for some time and it took alot of re-read of the manga and re-watching of the show. So I hope I wrote this as best as I could and enjoy this!
Everybody's mind were filled with black and white imagery from pages of the book that soon came to full color life before their very eyes. It was a tide wave of despair, humiliation and pure unadulterated rage with each battle. Gyutaro forgotten who he was or where he was at the moment because it felt like he was suffering though every death that was known to demon-kind.
It started with Kyogai a former Kizuki who was surprised by a compliment and a swift beheading. Then with Rui it was in a blink of an eye getting his head cut off by the Water Hashira. Enmu actually becoming a locomotive only to still having the searing pain of having his head cut off.
Daki and Gyutaro no matter how they wished could control the outcome or wanting to block out their human past from the others, it was all in vain and got their heads chopped off just the same. Gyokko never knew his head was sliced by the Mist Hashira till he was screaming profanities on ground before being silenced completely. With Hantengu, everyone experienced what it felt like to be shot several times by a shotgun and then finally dying after trying evade death too many times by the boy with the hanafuda earrings.
With Akaza it felt weird to be fighting headless only to be psychological messed with by his past until it was enough for him to give up on life. Douma was being heavily poisoned, while trying everything in his power to expel the wisteria from his body, but not fast enough to protect his head from being slashed off. Kokushibo actually seem to defeated from being beheaded only to have his body not being able withstand the damages that was done and disintegrate into nothing. It finally ended with the most agonizing death of Nakime with her head being crushed by another demon while the master himself was also erasing her very existence.
Gyutaro refocused and blinked his eyes not knowing that he blackout from all the horrible pain. His head was now reattached back on his body as well as everybody else. He frantically looked around for his sister to noticed she some feet from him and he immediately scoot over towards her. Daki was currently digging her nails into her own eyes trying to gorge out all the imagery until he pulled her hands from her face making her flinched.
"B-Brother is it finally over?" she asked meekly as her eyes reformed back.
"You shouldn't do that too beautiful to be doing that..." he hated that she mimicked his self scratching as the scars left her face. His sister merely touched the side of his cheek because it was wet.
"Tears?"
Daki was seriously alarmed because the only time she seen him cry was when he found her burnt to a crisp.
"It is just sweat!" Gyutaro quickly wiped his face with his forearm. It seem that everybody else was still recovering, lost in their own little world and he even heard someone vomiting in the background.
When he looked behind himself and saw it was Lower Five was the one who gotten sick which surprised him because never knew demons could throw up. He actually felt sorry for him, being that he was the youngest among Kizuki. But then Gyutaro remember how his parents forgave him and that it was more than likely that Rui got to go heaven in the afterlife. Just as quickly he no longer felt sorry for the spider brat, but wanting for his sister and himself to have a better afterlife.
Everyone seem to adjust themselves were now bowing out of fear wishing to never experience such a hellscape ever again.
"So what I've learned from all your deaths is that most of you cling to what is familiar and events from when your human to cloud the judgement in the heat of battle," Muzan said looking down on them.
"Some memories are locked away once turned into a demon. I have no true control over them and if I did I wouldn't have to certain memories of mines to leak over towards some of you,"
Making Daki frowned remembering that she trembling in fear and seeing visions when that ugly Kamado boy attacked her.
"Could the reason be that some of us had our memories wiped is because how traumatic our human death's were?" Douma pondered out loud with a finger to his chin. This made Akaza let out an aggravated sigh, because once again he was interrupting the master with his mindless chatter and he didn't seem to learn from the last time he spoke out of term.
"Possibly, but it no longer matters anymore," as the cult leader merely nodded and went quiet again.
"Same with the blue spider lily I'm not wasting another second on looking for that damn flower," the demon king looked perturbed that he wasted centuries on something that could very well be a myth at this point.
Everyone seemed surprised by this because from the moment they made it into Kizuki it was ingrain to them, that they must find the blue spider lily. But many soon realized that maybe he was giving up on it, because of Nezuko was the first demon to conquer the sun.
"Is it the Kamado lineage what we need to track down?" Kokushibo assumed that was the next move.
"No," Muzan regarded him coldly and it was noticeable that Upper One was not in his good graces right now.
"The priority is finding Tamayo, Yushiro and possible their cat …since that is the first animal to ever become a demon,"
He want them alive especially Tamayo, her medical knowledge and how she alternate her own body to try to remove his cells was seen as priceless in his eyes. Though she just need let go of this ridiculous notion into trying to making him human in order to kill him. It was the main reason Muzan will never accept or even shared his death with the rest of Kizuki because it was never going to come to flourish this time around.
"I would say that a third chance was given, the first was when you were pathetic humans and the second was when I given you the gift of being demons. But all of you over time became stupidly arrogance by letting your opponent out maneuver you," he walked in between the row of them ever so slowly, while most were afraid he would lash out on them at any given second.
"The third is those books on my desk, there will not be another chance understood?"
"Yes!" everyone say in unison.
Gyutaro began to think hard because he heard that he been giving a third chance before and couldn't really place it. It bother him that he misplaced something like that, but his mind was just so scrambled up from reliving these other morons shitty traumas.
"-but your volume is quite different from the others...Gyutaro!"
"Uh yes!" he cursed himself for spacing out in front of the master like that.
"Why do you have volume one?"
Gyutaro explain to the best of his ability about Lydia and how she was from the future. Through he couldn't explain how he got a hold of the first volume very well because Lydia must had hide it from him somehow, when she finally decide to give it to him. He hoped his piss poor explanation didn't get him or his sister killed and if it did, he will make it his goal to haunt Lydia for the rest of her miserable life.
For the longest moment all the demon king did was stare at him.
"I-It's true master I know it might sound craz-"
"How far in the future?" he completely interrupted Daki.
"Hundred and seventy-two years from the future. She also has an technology device that I never seen before and is at Yoshiwara right now," he finished hoping he didn't have to explain what a cellphone was to him.
"It is actually here Muzan-sama," Akaza spoke up making Gyutaro clenched his fists wondering why he would blatantly lie like this.
"Explain," turning his sharp gaze over to him.
"Earlier tonight she hit us both with a strange device that omitted electricity and it temporarily stopped us,"
"Where is it now?"
That is when Upper Three looked down slightly nervous "It's upstairs, but I b-broke i-Ack!"
He immediately coughed up blood and everyone knew it was because the master. Gyutaro sneakily smirked while thinking he was all brawn and no brains while Muzan berating him for breaking it.
"I-I can go get it along the woman," Akaza hated tasting his own blood unless it was in the heat of a battle.
"Get it after we are done here and she is currently with Hantengu. He will be bring her,"
Gyutaro was relieved to hear that at least Lydia with Hantengu because that man was so spineless. It meant she was perfectly fine because his mate was such the non-confrontational type, that he had nothing to worry about anymore.
Meanwhile...
Lydia would walked every which way to try to escape these two and honestly she don't know why she was even trying. They tailed her to a point she had gotten fed up and turn around to face them.
"Look I don't need you guys following-g (cough) me! I got this on my own!" she was feeling terrible as it is and they already showed they weren't going to help her.
"Ha but it is real funny to watch you walk around in circles though!" Karaku smiled with his hands folded together behind his head seemly in his comfort zone.
"Your just (cough) trying to wear me down so you can eat me!" Lydia said seeing right through their tactics as that gave Karaku a hearty laugh.
"You are an idiot for saying something that dumb! Your not at all appetizing to us!" Sekido was pissed at such an suggestion. This woman was so sickly that he would dare sink his fangs into that and she probably die after a single bite.
She sworn this guy was anger at every little thing. She wondered what crawled up his butt and died that made him so hostile for. Just then Ume slithered up to her neck to whisper ever so quietly in her ear.
"I felt my mistress's presence,"
Lydia pressed her lips against the cloth so Karaku nor Sekido couldn't hear her mouth silently.
"Where?"
The belt point to a nearby door and she looked out of it. It was dim with a faint light of lanterns, was that a body of water? It glimmered and moved liquidly like water, but she couldn't hear it swish being so high up. A plan began forming in her head on how to make the perfect escape.
