This is Regular Falls Warriors: A Fanfiction I wrote to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Videogame Hyrule Warriors. Note that this is basically just the Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors Plot, but with Regular Show and Gravity Falls Characters filling their place, but with a lot of tweaks to fit the plots for the Weirdmageddon Finale (The Grand Finale Arc of Hyrule Warriors) and Just a Regular Epic Final Battle arc. (The Wind Waker Arc of Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition). Also note that LEGO Dimensions also played a part in crafting this fanfic so keep an open eye for any characters that might appear.
Here are some notes before I get started.
When these events take place in each series
Gravity Falls: After Roadside Attraction but Before Dipper & Mabel vs. The Future
Regular Show: Before the Events of Regular Show: The Movie.
Mabel and Rigby will be the focus characters for a few arcs in this Fic from the Gravity Falls/Regular Show sides respectively. I found it best to try and have them work through their respective flaws and grow as Characters. Dipper and Mordecai will still be protagonists but just to know that one of the Gravity Falls episodes that sparked this story all the way back in 2014, when I watched it, was Sock Opera so a certain fan-favorite demon-possessed Pines member will show up (Unless you want Dipper as a focus Character: Which you can inform me in the comments. If you want him present to help Mabel, or to have Mabel work past her flaws on her own, then I can change the plot's direction if needed and have Ford by Bill's Vessel as The Author was once possessed by the wannabe Illuminati at one point). As For Rigby, I'm incorporating Regular Show: The Movie into the Mix so he will be working past his flaws as well.
I purchased the Gravity Falls Book: The Book of Bill to help me create more of a story for Bill and found a way to incorporate my own ideas and what he encountered from the book together. In addition, I will be creating another fanfic several years from now from some of the elements from two other Disney TV shows, I will be including in this fiction.
SO without further ado, Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, people of all ages. I give you:
Regular Falls Warriors!
For Generations, People have told the tale of the War Across Dimensions. This is how it begins...
A long time ago, There were Four Powerful Goddesses who possessed powers over space and time. Each of them was defined by a remarkable trait.
The Eldest was known for her immense power and mastery over the transcendent.
The Second Eldest was revered for her amazing Wisdom; Her prophetic foresight and sharp wit bestowed information to all who were clueless.
The Second Youngest was praised for her infallible Courage. Not even the bleakest sight or frightening face could deter her resolve.
Finally, the Youngest was loved for her Benevolent, Selfless Heart, As she would always put others before her own needs time and time again.
Together; these four deities were known as The Guardians of Dimensions.
They used their powers to travel and maintain the barriers between dimensions.
Only a few knew of their existence...as these four had passed some of their knowledge onto the most ancient deities of those worlds.
One was another Guardian who created three Gemstones that replicated these Guardians' powers, entrusted to a world of Amphibians.
Another was a race of unique creatures who used the unique magic in their blood to utilize the magic from of some of the ancient glyphs used by the Goddesses.
The last were a group of Time Manipulating Giants whose powers reached new levels upon looking beyond what they were already capable of.
However, not all of those who knew these four adored them. Some hated them, feared them, even opposed them.
And some...wanted their powers for themselves.
Of all these threats: One of them Almost Succeeded.
The First was An Extra-Terrestrial Sorcerer who wished to unite all dimensions into one.
This Sorcerer formed an army out of his own Quantum essence to attack the Goddesses.
The Goddesses fought against these tides valiantly, but the generals soon proved too much for them, as this sorcerer had developed powers beyond even their understanding.
To stop these threats plaguing all realms, The Guardians selected 12 mortal Champions blessed with the elements of their 12 most powerful glyphs to combat the Dimensional Sorcerer's power. Using the weapons blessed by the same power, They were successful in sealing their foe away into a netherworld.
To ensure the sorcerer could never return, the Guardians split the source of access to the netherworld into four fragments, and sealed three of them across dimensions while the fourth remained in one of their native dimensions, sealed in a temple that was guarded by the most powerful of the Sage's Weapons: The Rapier of Light.
These twelve Champions would later on be known as Sages.
However, as they ascended to the next world, they left behind four sacred diamonds; each one imbued with a fragment of their power over Dimensions.
These Four Diamonds rest in the center of all dimensions protected by a powerful seal forged by disciples of the Goddesses, to protect the remaining bit of power left behind by these Goddesses.
But...the binding weakens...and soon it will be completely destroyed leaving these four relics vulnerable to any corrupted hearts, eager to use this power for their own nefarious purposes.
For you see, before he was sealed away. This sorcerer contacted and made a deal with a one-eyed creature who also wished to seize control over all dimensions.
In the center of a void of endless multicolored stars, four small diamonds, made of energy and stacked around each other to form an even larger diamond, made out of light energy floated in place, contained in a force field of red energy that looked like it was fading.
While all the stars surrounding it burned so brightly, these diamonds, even trapped in their force field, seemed to glow even brighter.
However, all of that stopped as a dark shadow began to spread over the sea of stars, blotting them out with its shape.
Eventually, the shadow eclipsed the entire sky, rendering it entirely pitch black, save for the diamond that remained in its force field.
A single glowing yellow eye with a slit pupil eyed the diamond through its force field greedily like a child eyeing the last cookie on a plate.
A few moments later, the flickering of the barrier sped up until 'poof' it vanished, allowing the Diamond to float in place.
They widened with anticipation and if there were a mouth present, it would have grinned with glee.
The shadow shrunk until it took the figure of a Shadowy Triangle with arms, legs, and a top hat. The only thing glowing was the yellow eye with its slit pupil.
"Finally." A shrill, nasal voice rang from the triangle. "It is mine!"
A raspy, coarse, British-accented voice rang out from in his head.
"Yes. You have done well, Cipher. Now take the relic as your own and use it to further our plan."
Its right hand rose out and moved towards the space between all four diamonds.
However once it touched them, they began to light up and crackle with electricity causing it to recoil.
"W-was his supposed to happen?!" it exclaimed into the open air.
"Whoops," the voice sheepishly replied,"I forgot to mention one more thing: If the Heart of one who touches the four diamonds has all four virtues of: Power, Wisdom, Courage and Heart in balance then they will have the whole thing at their disposal, but if their heart is unbalanced, the Diamond will separate into four parts. And only one part will remain for you; the force that you believe in the most."
"So NOW you tell me?" The Triangle Shape snapped as the Diamond started shaking and glowing with an even brighter light.
Finally, the Diamond exploded, creating a blinding light that forced it to shield its only eye.
Once the light died down, the Triangle Figure was holding only a single small Diamond that was part of the once bigger Diamond.
"Great." It groaned. "Half a trillion years of trying to find this thing and I only end up with only a single piece."
"Relax." The voice assured. "The other three will find other bearers that will be chosen by destiny. Likely three of your enemies."
The Triangle pinched the space under its eye.
"So basically, not only will I have to wait until I pull off my master plan to invade Gravity Falls and the rest of Earth, but I'm going to have capture the entire Pines Family to take the pieces of the Great Diamond before killing them?
"Eh. Pretty Much." The Voice shrugged. "But then again, with the Diamond of Power, you can temporarily maintain a physical form until you can find a proper vessel to possess. Once you have one to control, you will be able to collect all four pieces of the great diamond to tear apart the walls between dimensions, and summon the power sources to my imprisonment in this accursed void."
"Yeah, I haven't forgotten about you." The triangle scoffed. "Though one problem, the Diamond can only grant me a temporary physical form. Not the rest of my Interdimensional Criminals and Nightmares I call my friends. And without them, I can't carry out my plans.
The voice groaned. "Head to the dimension that is The Seers' ruins. There lies a tool that may assist you on your mission: A scepter used by Disciples of the Guardians. One with the power to control space. Use it to open the Gate to Worlds, an ancient doorway you can use to summon hordes of monsters for you to command.
"I like your way of thinking." The Triangle smirked. "But controlling an army requires a commander. And I'll need someone just a strong to serve as my general. Do you have anyone in mind?"
"Has Mr. Ross accepted our request for his recruitment into our ranks?" The voice asked.
"Not yet." The Triangle replied. "He prefers to wipe out his dimension first before helping with the others. We'll need someone from MY dimension. But who's perfect enough for the job?"
"I think I have an idea." The voice spoke in a wicked tone. "And it's within the lava caves of Gravity Falls..."
The triangle saw where this was going. "The Snake Knight! With him at my side, he could command my army no problem. Old Sixer may have recorded his findings of that town throughout THREE journals, but there were some thing even he missed."
His mind was wandering off towards another accursed relic that the Author had overlooked. Something he could use to his advantage.
"Only one problem persists, though." The voice added. "With the invasion to other dimensions posing a threat, the 12 Sages might rise again. While the first ones have long passed, their powers lived on. If those abilities were to find new champions..."
"Relax." The Triangle assured its partner. "Even if those powers were to find new bearers as the other pieces of the Great Diamond will. Those hosts will have no clue on what to do or how to handle them. They're not heroes. Just Regular People who are going to face up against the weirdest of weird. So sit back, get comfortable and allow Bill Cipher to work his magic."
The triangle demon then let out a shrill maniacal laugh that caused the stars to shake as he began his assault, with no one the wiser to know about this or even know how to stop him.
Or so he thought.
In a local park, under a clear sky on a sunny day. Rigby; A 23-year-old anthropomorphic Raccoon was sitting under a single tree eating a burger as the sound of chirping birds filled the air. The shade of the tree he sat under shielded him from the Sunlight's intense glare.
Enjoying the taste with every bite, he chewed away at it, savoring the juicy meat that entered his mouth while ignoring the crumbs that fell into the grass.
All of a sudden the birds stopped chirping and the sky darkened. It only took Rigby a few seconds to realize this change as he looked up from his snack.
A pitch-black shadow began to cover up the landscape, swallowing the trees and moving closer to his position.
Rigby slowly got to his feet and realizing the danger he was facing, dropped the burger and bolted off on all fours as the shadows movement began to pick up, swallowing the dropped snack as it moved.
The Raccoon hurried as fast as he could towards a Sea Green House that seemed to be his only shelter. In the distance he could see a 23-year-old anthropomorphic Blue Jay standing motionlessly by the front steps. His back turned.
"Mordecai!" The Racoon cried out to his friend. "Mordecai!"
The Blue Jay-Mordecai-turned his head to his friend, but merely gave off a terse scowl before turning away
Rigby barely had time to react before the Wave of Darkness rose high over his head and swiftly descended down on him like an ocean wave as he could only scream before it subsumed him entirely.
Rigby's eyes shot open as he bolted up from his bed which consisted of a mini trampoline and a blanket.
He took a few quiet breaths as he looked around.
He was in his bedroom, the sky was still pitch black outside while the room was devoid of light.
The bed next to him was occupied by Mordecau who seemed to be sleeping peacefully.
Seeing that he himself was unable to return to slumber, Rigby picked himself up and walked out of the bedroom to the bathroom where he splashed water on his disheveled face.
"That's the fifth night in a row I've had that dream." he muttered to himself. "But why? And what does it mean?"
Getting tired just trying to come up with an explanation for his tired self, the Raccoon yawned rather loudly before returning to his bedroom and curling up on his trampoline.
He could probably ask Skips or give Eileen a call about this tomorrow.
From the corner of his eye, he could have sworn that the trucker hat lying next to him bore the symbol of a Blue Pine tree before he drifted off, unaware that tomorrow and the next few weeks were going to be anything but regular for anyone.
To be continued.
That's the prologue done. Up next, we have Gravity Falls beginning their part of the adventure.
