CHAPTER 6
SHADOW-SPIDER
Tony Stark, Billionaire, Playboy, Genius, Philanthropist and Superhero Iron-Man, the man sat in his Ivory Tower, his laboratory filled with advanced technology and suits filled with next generation weaponry and Iron-Man suit components. The holographic screens of his work bench showed a replay of his recent battle with this Mysterious New Spider-Woman known as Shadow-Spider.

Subject Possesses Phasing abilities, capable of passing self through Solid Materials, Living Material. Also seems to possess a form of Camouflage, rendering them completely Invisible to the naked Eye, and all forms of scans.
Subjects final known ability is Short Range Teleportation, allowing them to move quicker through spaces without detection. Known counter, Magnetic Displacement Fields can stop teleportation.
Tony prepared his knowledge about this new spider, but more questions came from her mere existence, such as who was she, where did she come from and how was her timing so perfect that she appears shortly after the disappearance of the Original Spider-Man. Tony knew it to his bones that Peter had something to do with this and that was a fact, but what.
Maybe it was time he paid his old friend a visit?
NYC
WITH ZOE ZANDER
New York City, even with all the Polluted Air, Constant Crime Rates, Weird People, Great Delivery Service, that sometimes you can forget how gorgeous the night sky can be, how gorgeous the city itself can be at times. Sure the insane number of Super Villains and Heroes in this city make me want to pack up all my things and leave like many sane people do.
Then I have a night like this, a night with a cute, brown haired, brown eyed, handsome romantic man with a pension for being late for everything, what was he called again?
"A Really Nice Handsome Guy" he quipped in front of him
I hummed to myself, fingers rubbing on my chin "No…no that's not it" I look into his cute little shy face, and I remember, oh I remember why I stay.

"Oh! I remember, it's called having a Boyfriend"
The two of us sat in a selected table, Peter had asked me of my favorite restaurant in the East Village, and I told him you can't go wrong with ' Momofuku Noodle Bar ' for what other say, care? I did not, this place had the Best Ramen in the City!
And I was currently indulging myself in one of the dishes of the Night. Well I was trying to pick between my three.

These were all just so good, you can never get enough, or at least I can't, my ugh~ friend, not so much. Finally, Zoe walked up to the counter and made her order
"What would you care for Miss Zander?" the waiter asked with a gentle smile
"I would like, The Chicken Meatball Buns, Smoked Chicken Wings and Chilled Spicy Noodles. Thank You"
The woman arched her eyebrows at the woman in front of her, those were quite the orders and yet looking at her figure, her Sexy Figure, how did she maintain that with food like this going into her body.
"Coming right up"
They began the process of preparing her food, Peter stared at her with utter shock on his face when she returned to the table and lucky that he was lucky the two of them worked Horizon Labs because prices are still a thing. Well that was what he signed up for when he asked her out.
"Peter, I gotta ask, what do you do when were are at work?"
Peter nearly spat the water he was drinking "What?" he followed up immediately
She raises her arms with a smirk "I mean at work, sometimes you'd just run off" she started. Her cautions his closer with her finger. Leaning her face into his "And disappear for hours on end, bad explanations" Zoe continued to list off
He rubs the back of his neck, averting eye contact "I mean, it's not always a bad explanation"
Her face drops a bit "Last time you said you needed to give your Aunt Anna a foot massage" said in a condescending tone. Peter tilts his eyes up with a whistle "So… where did you work before the Horizon Labs?" he sped asked her, his attempt to try and avoid her question.
She spun her chop sticks on her finger, pointing the tips into his face, she positioned her face right in front of his, one brow raised, she hummed at him "Don't try to change the question, but to answer your question, I worked as a Bar Tender in Chicago City. What about you?"
Leaning his head back, staring at the ceiling, Zoe stared at him, "I worked at the Daily Bugle as a Photographer. Nothing special" she took a slurp of her food "Yeah, nothing special here either" her eye glanced down to her wrist, a small purple substance outgrowing from underneath her dress, she rolls up her sleeve.
"Peter, do you… what do you think of me?" she asks him
I see his eyes go wide and his eyebrows raised horizontal wrinkles appear on his forehead, "W-What?" he asked me, his voice remaining soft and caring "I-I mean me, do you… do you like… do you actually like me, I mean I kinda asked you out outta nowhere, it would make sense if you didn't want this to…" his hand stretched out, placing right over me own.
"I want this…and to answer your question, I think your optimism is astonishing, and even as this date came outta nowhere for me, I would like to do this again some other time"
She smiled. The two of them finished their date, she wrapped her arms around Peter as he walks her home, he glanced down at her, her massive chest pressed against his arm as she rested on him, his red face said a lot about how he felt about this 'Keep still my heart' he thinks excessively, refusing a certain 'place' from getting excited.
Later that night, the couple returned to the apartment of Zoe Zander, she held her hands in front of her, smiling at Peter, that cute smile once again getting one from him, she raised her left brow and a shine appeared in her eyes, she walked back towards him, placing her hands on the sides of his face, her hands were so soft and she moves them up slightly, she pushed her finger tips to his cheeks, his face already, reddening slightly, his hazel eyes focused on her magenta orbs, she let him go and walked into her apartment building, a sway in her hips as she moved up the stairs, her head turned around to glimpse at him one more time "See you later handsome" she winks, going into her building.
Fists raised high with a huge grin on his face, Peter walked through the streets, this feeling, it was one so familiar yet one so distant, one that he had felt so many times, but always taken away from him, what was it again?
He reached his apartment, looking up at it, and that was when he saw it, he truly saw his apartment, his place of residence, it was actually quite nice
"Since when can I actually afford something like this?" he questioned himself. Stepping into his residence, he actually looked at it, 4 Extra Rooms, excluding the Kitchen, Bathroom, and a small workshop "When did I stop living in studio apartments?" his mind drifted to all his former places of residence, a small family house in Forest Hills, a few other studio apartments where you wouldn't want to bring a friend and places where he was simply living off other people as a dead end loser. "This can't be happening right, Parker Luck and all that, I would never allow this to happen, or it wouldn't allow something this good to last" he looks to the side and takes a photo of Him, Ben and May, both parental figures in his life, both being ' Passed Tense ' where they right?
He pondered this for a second, all those years, all the suffering, all the pain and loss, the excuse of using the pain making him a better hero 'Most of it was just his life sucking every chance it got' reaching into his pocket for his phone, he looks at a Photo he took of him and Zoe, "Maybe, maybe I should…"
His thoughts are interrupted by a something, something growing out of his hand, a black red white tendril comes out of his hand, he looks at it "Hmmm?" it grows out of his arm, grabbing the photo, placing the photo down,
"Ravager?"
It didn't answer. This was strange, the presence of the Symbiote was there, it wasn't some mindless suit, but this was different, he could feel it, this Symbiote, it had its own consciousness, but what was it doing that it didn't speak.
"It's okay to talk. I want to talk to you, Partner?"
Still nothing. What was going on here?
Deciding maybe it would be best if he went out on patrols, he leaps out the window in his room. THWIP. And swinging towards his usual route, this city's crime never sleeps, so he's… going to take down as much of it before going to sleep because he has work by noon.
ELSEWHERE
Katie [Last Name: Unknown] sat in casual clothes, a Red Dazzler T-Shirt, Grey Athletic Shorts, over her brown hair, was a pair of Black Cat-Headphones, and a speaker. "Ugh Hold on Mr. Elastic-Man, you shan't best thy Queen of the Soul Forge now, thou step too far for thy own good" she said as she clacked on her controller. On the other side of the room, Track stood leaning on the door, her lover doing what she loves to do, a smile creaked across her face just watching her.
Track herself dawned in an Orange and Black Hoodie and Silver Athletic Shorts, a massive Black X across the Hoodie.
PING
Lifting her phone from her pocket, she checks it out, smiling, she looks up to Katie, her face frowning when she saw her smile, then another forming back on her face, this was okay, it was fine. She walks out the bedroom, closing the door behind her as she goes to through the hallway.
A quick gust of wind blows past her head, then another, blowing her blonde hair to the left, she crunches her lips, walking towards the forceful gust of air, she walked through another small hallway, as she did so, entering a wide room, the sound of grunts is audible and coming from above her head. Facing up, Track found herself staring up at the figure of a man. He was training vigorously in the air, his body hovering several feet of the ground as he threw a Kick into the air, a punch followed and then, he dropped down to the ground, his back to her face.
"What're you doing here?" his gruff voice asked. "You're interrupting my training"
Track smirked, her arms crossed under her chest "Wow, you just won't stop until you're stronger than him. Will you?" she said in a condescending tone
He didn't say thing to this, only a small scoff escaped his lips "I'll ask again, what do you want Sabine?" he asked her,
Track's closed her eyes tight, her veins bulging out of her head when he called her that. "I…(groans) I got something fun for you to do, David" she says in a more hyped tone
This finally made him turn around and look her in the eye for the first time with his arms crossed over his chest, he walked towards the woman in front of him, her looking up high to him.
The man was above average height, she would consider him to be quite tall, reaching up to 6'5ft, 90Kg/192Ibs. He had Long Crimson Red Hair styled in a Ponytail, Emerald Eyes, he had a Square Shaped Face, Red Deep Set Eyes with Hard Angled Eyebrows, Red Lines directly underneath his eyelids and a Button Nose. His face adored a scar stretching from his left cheek to the edge of the right side of his forehead and another X Shaped Scar on his Neck and his skin was Light Brown with an Oily shine to it. His Body was Muscular in tone, not over done to become a Heavyweight, opting for more Strength than Muscle, a more Athletic Body Type, with several scars indicating many gruesome battles.
He stood directly in front of her, his arms crossed and asked with a smirk "What'd you have in mind?" to which she only smirked back.
MANHATTAN
The Skyline of this Fare City would always be something beautiful to look at, especially from the top of the numerous High Rises. A red trench coat blew through the wind, with Peach Red Hair blowing with it, eyes sparkling blue, hidden behind a pair of red tinted glasses. Julia Carpenter, aka Madame Web stood, her hands in her pockets, as she awaited someone. Them finally arriving.
"Stark"
Iron-Man hovered down slowly, "Hey Julia, got a minute for a friend?" he asked her, an obvious smile behind his helmet with his friendly tone. She scoffed at this, choosing not even to look in his direction, "I know what you want, and no, I won't help you find her" Tony started walking towards her, "No? come on Julia, I know your whole thing is Spider-People, but come on, you gotta help me find this kid" her lips perked up as did her eyebrows arch 'He can't find her, he can't find Katie'
"What is it?" Tony questioned her "Come on Julia, she's causing trouble, stealing and getting people hurt, she nearly destroyed an entire building, I just doing my job"
She glared at him, her eyes weren't visible through the scoop of her lenses, but the aggressive scowl on her face was "No, you don't get to do that, not after what you did, Peter was my friend, and if I hadn't gotten there in time to rush him to the hospital, he would've been dead"
"He stepped out of line, he was my responsibility and why do you care? You claim to be a psychic but couldn't make it to him on time. He stopped using his powers responsibly and became a wild card"
"Right, because the great Tony Stark, the man whom ruined an infinity of lives because of his own selfish ambitions, killed heroes, and got away with all of it because of stupid shit, is such a pillar of responsibility, the man who believes he's god, that the world can't do without him"
Tony lunges at her, she quickly dodges over him, letting him brush past her, she lands on her feet "Like I said, you aren't getting to her and even if you did, you don't stand a chance against her Stark, we aren't your little toys to play with, we're strong, we're tough and all you are, is a man thinking he can play god"
Tony comes bursting towards her once more tackling her to the ground, her body passes right through him as she begins to fade away "You aren't a God Tony, and you haven't stopped the Spider, you've only angered us"
With those passing words. She was gone, leaving him with those words to ponder what she had just said, but no matter, what could a bunch of insignificant bugs do, who was she to say he couldn't do what he wanted "I'm the most Intelligent, Capable person on the planet, I'm not playing God, all this time, I've been Playing Human" he says and then, flies away from that area.
PETER PARKER'S APARTMENT
Peter was doing a bit of Yoga on the roof of his building, the tree pose was quite invigorating, the serenity, his muscles finally relaxed in this position as did his mind, he lets out a sigh, breath, smiling in the night's cool breeze. Then he feels something, something coming his way, no, not his way, but something. Opening his eyes, he awakened to find himself in a completely darkened world, "What the…?" the entire area around him was mostly Blood Red Sand, Rocks and Mountains, Giant Pillars of Darkness. The Blackness oozing up to the sky to form Puddles of Blackness in a Pure White Sky. "Where am I?" he questions himself as he walks forward in the Red Sand, the only things he can see besides the Red Mountains is the Giant Pillars of Black Ooze.
He moves closer and slides down the slope of red sand, "This place, why does it feel so, so familiar?" he walks and walks towards the only thing near him, his hand reaches out, almost instinctively, reaching towards the massive pillar of Goop, 'What is this feeling?' his hand draws closer, making contact with the ooze and that darkness begins creeping all over him. His eyes widened as he begun to be pulled into ooze tower, his body completely sucked into it.
Agony isn't the word he would use to describe this feeling, it was a rush of electricity through his system, with every rush filling him with more and more power, until finally, once freed from the Black Ooze Tower, he found himself…. On the Brooklyn Bridge? 'WHAT?' was all he could think. The area was silent, there was no honking of cars. The sounds of people rushing to make it to work on time? No. The place was completely, Quiet.
Then he heard a voice, 'HOST!' the voice screamed out in a mix of several dozen different voices, he looked around for the source of it, finding nothing, he looks forward only to duck out of the way of a Symbiote Drone. The Drone fell to the ground, popping into black goop on the ground "What the?!" the body of the creature turned to ooze, a stain on the ground. More of them started to burst out from below, these Drones, their bodies crooked, hands and feet clawed, with teeth as sharp as daggers.
The first one attacks him with a slash, he quickly duck and rolls under it, countering with a leg swipe that trips the creature over, another comes to attack him and Peter somersaults over it, shooting a double web line at its back, he lands on the ground, flipping the creature over his head and throwing it at another, the two collide and are put on the ground.
The remaining three come at him at once, first with two slashes, he moves back out of the way "What is happening? Where the hell am I?" countering with an uppercut to the first one, and a back kick to the second, but as he launches the Symbiote Drone into the air, the third one slashes him in the back, "Arghh!" he screams, his back having three long slash marks across it. Another of the Symbiotes rushes up and grabs him from behind, another from the right leg, then the left, Peter struggles, grabbing the one of his back, flipping it over and with a Drone still attached to his leg, drop kicks it away.
With his leg outstretched, another Drone grabbed his leg, pushing him down while another one tackles him to the ground, those two begin melting to his body, forcing himself up, he pushes the drones off his body, getting back up, those two Drones were still on him, reaching back, he peels it off him, but that goo just merges to his hand, growing further and further on him.
Heavy breathes as he frantically tried to peel the Symbiote matter off his body, tearing it off his form. But then the ground shook below him, a loud shrieking noise is heard from all over him, covering his ears as the entire area began to quake beneath him.
"What's happening?"
He opened his eyes to see the ooze, the ground was oozing as it shrieked and more of it came to him. It came to him.
That was when Peter noticed something, this was Symbiote Matter, all of it was the Symbiote trying to get into his head, he thought about how he… he thought about Venom. The black goo was just like Venom was it not? Then he realized, Symbiotes bonded to be whole with their host.
The ooze continued to rise as the bridge collapsed below his feet, but he didn't move from his spot even with the other pieces of debris trying to corner him, even with it all surrounding him from all sides, he didn't move. He stood there with his eyes closed, and allowing the black substance to overwhelm him, letting it take hold of his body "I understand" his last words before the Symbiote had completely covered his body and in it, Darkness.
Crack!
SHATTER!
A full gasp awoke Peter, eyes opened wide through the Symbiote Mask, he was attached to the side of a Building, he pushed his hand into the ground, to find that he was clad in his Symbiote Armor, he pushes himself and arises from the ground. Standing up straight, Peter was confused as to what had just happened, and how he had gotten to… actually this was just the building right next to his apartment.
Dropping down from his vantage point, Peter held his head, thinking to himself as to what that dream had meant, looking at the Symbiote, placing his hand on his head, sweat dripping down his face as he ponders this question, was his Symbiote messing with him, or was it trying to help him? What was it trying to do?
But that question would be put on the back foot as he would sense something coming at him. No. not at him, but it was headed somewhere close by. Raising his head up to the sky, he saw something zoom right past them, it moved in a bright Red Light. "What was that?" he asked
"Was that Wanda? No…she wouldn't set off my spider-sense like that"
Raising his arm…THWIP…he fires a web-line and swings off towards that light.
AVENGERS TOWER
Captain Marvel, Black Panther and Tony Stark, all four of them were the ones in the tower, the Panther researching on this new Shadow-Spider, recordings from Stark's armor allowed him to see her capabilities. The scans on her Muscle Density, and her Physical Strength, neither of which matched each other, as if she was able to just summon a new mass of strength from nowhere.
Carol was in the Lobby, she walked to the coach with two cups of Coffee, sitting on the coach was a relaxed Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk "Hey Jen, Coffee?" "Thank You" she takes the coffee from her longtime friend, sipping from her coffee, something goes off with her.
"Hey Jen, you alright?" Carol asks her friend
"I…I" Jen stumbles for a second "I don't know, something…. something's wrong"
Call it Woman's Intuition or Call Hulk Battle Instinct, but something was very, very wrong here. Then of all the times for it to happen, the alarms blared loudly, facing up towards the red lights
"Avengers Alert. Unknown flying object currently headed towards the City"
The group in the tower all report to the break room "What is it F.R.I.D.A.Y?" T'challa asks the A.I
"Unknown King T'challa, but whatever this is, is headed directly for the tower, collision in 3.2.1. impact imminent"
Before anything could be done, a quick burst of force comes through the Tower Walls, sending everybody flying backwards as smoke bellowed in the rooms.
"You guys okay?" She-Hulk shouts
Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Iron-Man dug themselves out from under the rubble, Iron-Man in his Mark 75 Mysterium Armor, his greatest creation of armor yet. "I'm good, man, that came outta nowhere" he begins scanning the area of impact, and as the smoke cleared out of the way
"Now, let me guess, Cobalt Man, Ultron, Living Laser, who the hell had the guts to attack the Avengers in our own house?" Tony coyly questioned
The smoke began to clear and from it, emerged a 6'5 Male Figure, hovering over their balcony just outside the tower, David hovered there staring at them with his arms crossed. He adored an All-Black Tactical Suit, Top to Bottom, A Red Leather Bomber Jacket over his Tactical Suit and Red Combat Boots. His face was hidden behind a tactical mask with his eyes begin the only visible part, he appeared to be wearing the same type of mask as Shadow-Spider. Tony noticed that first and that on his chest, the Same Spider Emblem.
Tony nearly gasped at this, but Carol wasn't having it, she stood ready to fight or more, hovered off the ground ready to fight,
Carol charges at him first "Listen Muscles, I don't think you know where you just barged into, but this is Avengers House" Energy focused around her as she begins to cock her fist back, only for her to swing as this mystery person begins by moving his head backwards and completely evading her attack. "What the…?"
Carol turns around, the Universally Fast Carol Danvers, had just found herself out sped by this Unknown Foe, turning around, she saw him already in the building. He was standing behind Jen, She-Hulk immediately attempts to back hand him away, but he ducks out of the way of her attack, Carol coming in from the side, throwing a right jab at the invader, only for him to completely disappear.
"What the…where'd he go?" She-Hulk yelled
Black Panther squinted, his eyes going into inferred, he doesn't see a heat trail between them and anywhere that isn't Carol or Jennifer, "Stark, Behind you!" He suddenly appears behind Iron-Man, but the billionaire arrogantly folded his arms "Don't worry Panther, this suit was built from Mysterium, he can't…" he was quickly shut up though from a single back hand and he is sent flying through multiple walls and out of the tower.
As the Billionaire crashes into the concrete ground, groaning as he gets up "W-What?" He stumbles out holding his head
CRAK!
That sound shocks him, checking up on his helmet, he finds a large crack in the mutant metal of Mysterium, how, this didn't make any sense, Captain Marvel couldn't budge Mysterium, Doctor Strange couldn't atomize it and Spider-Man couldn't sense it, so what the hell did that guy just do to him that he was able to crack it with only a single punch.
Back up in the tower. The man stood in his position, the rest of the Avengers were now taking more cautious approach against whomever this man was, when suddenly 'WHOOSH' that Mystery Spider-Woman suddenly appeared in the room, she looked over to the man next to her
"Katie!" he suddenly yells. To the surprise of the Avengers, well that was part of her mystery solved, they had a name for her now, but still, who was she truly.
She raises an eyebrow at him in a way that screamed 'Secret Identity Dude' but right now, that was no longer important as standing before them, and behind them.
Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, and Black Panther. Behind them, was the Golden Avenger, Iron-Man. Shadow-Spider folded her arms looking at them, even if they couldn't see her face, they could tell she was smirking behind that mask. Shadow-Spider folded her arms looking at those in front of her, she chuckles to herself "You think this was a bad idea?" She leans in to asks her compatriot. To which he sternly replies "Nah, we've had worse" with another obvious smirk behind his mask.
"So who do you want?" She inquiries from him. "Between you and me, we can handle them" she converses with him in front of the Avengers
"Kid, I don't know who you think you are but the Avengers aren't no laughing matter" Stark says, to which he is ignored by the Shadow-Spider "Hey, listen to me when I'm talking to you"
"Stark! We will fight you, after this conversation, can you not keep your ego in check long enough to handle being properly ignored?" Maverick aka David, yelled at him
Shadow-Spider and he fist bumped, without her hand ever leaving his, she vanishes before their eyes, reappearing in front of a Titanium Door, she knocks it away with a single forced push, running through the walls and towards something. Stark orders Panther to go after her, he leaps over to the door location and he rushes after the Mysterious Woman in Red, White and Black.
Wind rustles into the lounge through the broken windows, shards of glass crushed beneath his feet, his glare focused on the Avengers but Stark most of all, his intense stare focused squarely on the man in the Iron Suit.
She-Hulk rushes in at him first, he takes a fighting stance, but as soon as he does, Carol flies past her, blasting him out of the hole in the wall, she grabs him and pushes him down to the ground "Kid, I don't know who you think you are, but you don't come to the Avengers house and just think you can do what you want?" she delivers a punch to his face, that sends him into the ground, cratering it. She-Hulk and Iron-Man come racing down for their teammate, until something is flung into Iron-Man, pushing him back and letting She-Hulk fall, looking up, it was Captain Marvel who was sent flying back.
Maverick hovered there just a foot off ground waiting for them, when the Gamma Powered Hero came down, she immediately attacked Maverick with a haymaker, to which he blocked with his side-arm, her punch not even showing to have deterred him in the slightest. Facing up, Tony and Carol floated above, analyzing the situation. Jennifer threw quick jab after punch, to which her opponent blocked and countered each one, she was managing to push him back with each attack, but Carol had a feeling, something wasn't right here.
…and their thoughts couldn't correct, as at the end of it all, Maverick caught Jennifer's last punch, "Is that really all the Sensational She-Hulk can do?" Maverick cockily asked with an obvious grin behind his mask, but his cockiness would prove fruitless as she grabs him by the arm, throwing him towards her teammates. As the Avengers fought, a Daily Bugle News Chopper came in reporting in on the situation unfolding in Avengers tower.
"And we join the scene of a violent attack on our world's greatest heroes, the Avengers appear to be engaging in a battle with this unknown assailant. We can only know how this will unfold"
Tony intercepted the flying Maverick, double axe hands him to the ground, following up this by launching several missiles at him, each of them collide and explode on the body of their Assailant, his form cratering the ground on impact. He gets up rather quickly from those attacks, dusting off his hair, when Carol comes in from the side, delivering a flying kick to his face, sending him flying back. Maverick stops himself from any collisions as Carol flies at him once more, "This is what we can do!" she yells then proceeding to cock her fist back, sending a punch straight to his face.
The boom from that attack sounded from blocks away, a massive flash burned through everyone's gaze, causing them to shield their eyes from the flash, the lights begins to die down, a large gust of wind emerging from the aftermath of this attack. The smoke finally disappears, and Carol eye's widened at what she saw. Her attack, he had stopped her with just one hand, holding unto her fist with one hand and no strain on his hand at all "If that's truly your best, then I find you rather disappointing" he pulls Carol in from her hand, palming his hand on her face, he pushes her to the ground with such force, her body craters and skids across the ground to She-Hulk and Iron-Man. The Golden Avenger firing multiple High powered Repulser blasts at their enemy, he deflects the beams upward with one hand, glaring at the Tech Genius the entire time. Before disappearing before their eyes "What the... where'd he…Arggh!?" a kick to the ribs shut him up entirely, She-Hulk standing there confused as to what had just happened, he's sent flying through multiple buildings, pieces of Mysterium breaking off his suit as he does so.
His back was turned to the Green Smasher, she flung a High Kick to his head, to which without even looking, he catches her kick by the ankle, pulling her in, he delivers a massive gut punch, her mouth agape as she coughs up droplets of blood, he follows up with an Uppercut to her chin, "I thought the Hulk was supposed to be strongest there is" he taunted. Carol came flying out of crater, blasting him with an enormous blast of Energy, stretching out his arm, it begins to glow and pulsate red with energy, firing his own blast at her, the two powers collide and he overpowers her own, she cocks her back forward and as his energy blast rams with her body, she compresses and absorbs it, she sheer power inside of it was amazing. "Woah!" she exclaims; this was something else.
She-Hulk transformed into her Giant Bulky Hulk form, to which Maverick was first to receive a direct strike right to the face, sending him flying right into Binary, she delivers an uppercut to his back, sending him flying up towards Iron-Man, firing a massive Uni-Beam at him, crashing into his body and sending him blasting into the ground. Binary, Hulk and Mysterium Iron-Man came down to the crater his body had formed.
WITH BLACK PANTHER AND SHADOW-SPIDER
The King of Wakanda landed inside the Avengers Storage Chamber, whatever his target was after, this was where it lingered and thus, where she lingered. He switched visuals to Inferred once more
"Shadow-Spider, that was the name you used correct? Or do you prefer Katherine?" T'challa yelled his question
Her voice came through "It's Katie, but you just stick to Shadow-Spider, your Highness" echoing through all the area. T'challa faced towards his North East "Hmm, I must ask, the components you've stolen, what're they for?" he asked her, headed in that direction
"That's not important to you!" she growled out
He placed a few claws behind his back "If I were to put those components together, I would think you are putting together, a Radiation Admitter, but with the Serums you stole, you are making a Super Soldier Serum"
"Clever Cat, but don't you know that Curiosity Kills Cats" she jokes
Black Panther actually lets out a small laugh at that, This surprises Katie as she didn't think he did that "The way you quip and your fighting style is rather impressive, your skills in Stealth compliment your powers very nicely." He says to her "Intangibility, Cloaking and Short-Distance Teleportation" he listed off. He threw a set of Kunia upwards at the opposite direction, Shadow-Spider DE cloaking herself, escaped to the left, as the weapons edged into the wall. She landed on the ground, a box in her hand
"You don't have to fight" Panther said to her
She glared at him "You mean you're going to let me go your Highness" he shook his head and she sighed "Man, and look at me thinking you were friendlier"
T'challa pushed a button on his wrist gauntlet, a pulse releasing from his suit and past her, she looked at herself at her hands, something… something was right with her "W-What'd you-?"
"I've disabled your Phasing Power, as well as your Teleportation-" The door shut behind them, "-You have no way out of here now"
She looks at him, her hands clenched tightly into fists, she gets into a fighting stance as well as the Panther, both of them glare at each other, her body emitting a strange, purple mist like energy "Well, guess I have to do things the fun way" and with that said, she lunges at him.
BACK DOWN WITH THE AVENGERS
The area had gone quiet, the Avengers stood in front of the crater they had formed from Maverick's slammed body, Carol hovered there, her body clad in golden energy with her hair on fire. Tony previous scan of Maverick finally ended
"Huh, oh I finally got it"
"Got What?" Carol asked him
Tony showed a full body 3D Scan of Maverick's body, and that was when they knew, something was not right her
"It, this looks like Bio-Technological and Genetic Enhancements" Tony explained
"What?" She-Hulk asks him
Tony looks at her and Carol "This is…this kind of tech shouldn't even be possible, it's way beyond anything I've…."
But in that moment, the ground began to shake and quiver beneath them, the quakes were so large that they could be felt from all over the city blocks, but the quakes didn't stop there. No far from it.
As in Brooklyn, Spider-Man could be seen swinging through the city, just as the quakes began, a car swung out of control, and with every ounce of Spider-Speed he had in his arsenal, pushing cars, webbing people out of the way all while he remained moving at the peak of his abilities. As he lands, having managed to save everyone, the quakes continue. Both the Man Without Fear and the Woman Without Fear, The Daredevils, both working without end in order to save as many lives at they could, rescuing civilians from crashed cars, doing their best to save everyone. Every hero began to pitch into this, Avengers, Defenders, Champions, Mutants, Runaways, S.H.I.E.L.D and more.
IN WAKANDA
The Nation resting on a massive Bedrock of Vibranium, the very material that has protected them from quakes such as this, as normally the metal would simply absorb this vast shockwave, but now, now the Vibranium would find itself unable to survive against these immense shockwaves. Shuri immediately acted, using the Wakandan Satellites to try and originate the source of this, her beads locked it on Manhattan, in front of Avengers Tower.
ON KROKOA
The living island of the mutant species shock underneath this immense power, what was it now, what had happened that it would even affect them all the way here. The Island itself cried out in this pressure as the entire world quaked from this power. Professor X, Jean Grey, Prestige, Emma Frost, Kid Omega, these five telepaths were the first four to sense this, something was happening in New York. Something that could shake the very foundation of the world as it was.
Mutants screamed as their defenders rushed to protect them, Wolverine (James Howlett) pushed a few children out of the way of falling debris, Rogue joined in this, punching through another set of falling rubble, Psylocke creates a Psionic Whip, and whip grabs a few more mutants out of the way,
"Are you alright?" she asked them
The man with six eyes nodded, she pointed towards a safe point "Head over there and be safe with the others" he ran off. Multiple portals opened, optic beams of Kinetic Energy fired out of each one destroying massive amounts of beams and debris. Cyclops and Magik appeared through another one
"What is happening?"
The island itself began growing roots to protect those living on its sacred land. Apokolips fought alongside his Mutant Brethren in order to protect their home and lifestyle "What has happened here?" he sensed it, a power, a power like what he has felt before.
WITH PROFESSOR X
This power was very much like that of a Celestial, but it was not a Celestial, this sheer force of power he was feeling, the weight alone was enough to crush him, it felt almost on the same level of power as…Charles looked at the Mutant Messiah, tis power was almost exceeding the power of the Phoenix. But…there was something else there as well.
What was happening in New York?
NEW YORK
They could barely stand through it, they were at the epicenter of this power, power that they could all feel growing, it was as if the pure pressure of this beings might could crush them.
'HA…HAHA…HAHAHAHA!'
The cold sadistic cackle sounded through the area, The Bugle News Chopper caught the sound and it sent chills down everyone watching it, parents and viewers at home held unto themselves and their children, Ravager watching this, couldn't help but flash back to the days of the Goblin, but this, whatever this was, felt different to that, this feeling, like the mere intent alone could crush him.
The Avengers felt it too, then the ground began to crumble beneath their feet, Carol held up Hulk and Iron-Man hovered off the ground,
THUD!
Sounded through the air, what was that?
THUD!
There it was again, that was when She-Hulk remembered where she had heard something like that again, it was…those were the sounds of his footsteps. Maverick stepped out of the crater, his shirt had exploded off his body revealing his ( SHE-HULK AND CAROL LUST ) Muscular Body, scars and all, showing many battles he had taken part off. Standing before them, his foot dug into the ground before them, glaring with an intensity so fierce, it was as if they could feel the power emanating from him.
BAM!
And just in that moment, an explosion broke through the tower tearing a massive hole in the wall, from that hole, Black Panther and Shadow-Spider came bursting out, her fist having connected to his face as they were still in the punch position, parts of his Vibranium mask broken off, the broken pieces glowing with the overdose of absorbed kinetic energy. As for Shadow-Spider herself, she appeared to also be glowing with a Purple Mist like energy emanating from her entire body, she clenched her other fist, delivering a high jab to his body, sending him down to the ground.
Carol zoomed towards her ally or was about to, as the moment her foot left the ground, she felt something grab her foot, looking back around, it was Maverick, his grin had disappeared, instead, he stared at her like a cold calculating machine, Tony lifted his wrist to fire a rocket at him, but before anything could be done, Maverick pulled Carol in, throwing her on Tony, this knocked them both back and that missile still fired at Maverick, he caught it with one hand, holding it and letting it explode on his person, that explosion holding no damage to his person at all. Shadow-Spider came down on a Web line next to her companion, dropping the downed Black Panther to the side as she powered down, she knelt down, grabbing the device he used to disable some of her weaker abilities, Vibranium as well, as simple as closing her hand, she began to crush the device, until it was nothing more than a squeezed can.
Staring at The Avengers, Shadow-Spider grabbed the box of Gene Triggers, checking inside, they were all there and they were all still safe, she closed it 'David, we got them' she faced her partner, but his eyes were still focused squarely on the heroes before him. Knowing exactly what he was thinking "You got 3mins" he cracked his neck, then his knuckles "I only need two" he said right as he dashed forward, Carol crossed her arms to block him, but before the hit could land, she was tackled out of the way by a new comer, someone in a White, Black and Red hooded combat suit. Carol looked at him and asked
"Hey, aren't you that Ravager guy?" she asked
He looked at her "Good to meet you too Captain" he said, trying to sound cool
Maverick stared at Ravager, he was about to rush at him too, until Shadow-Spider placed her hand in front of him, shaking her head "Live him to me" she said rushing at him, throwing a punch across his face, he moves back out of the way, 'Wow, she's Fast!' she throws a straight jab next, he blocks this one with his forearm as her attacks begin pushing him back
"Ravager!" Carol screams
Only to be sent flying by Maverick, crashing through the road and a building, back elbows She-Hulk in the gut, and spin kicks Iron-Man in the head.
While for the Spider and the Symbiote, Shadow-Spider throws a low jab to the head, he Palm blocks her attack, following up with a quick high, immediately deflecting her punch, she faces back with a Spinning High Kick he weaves under her kick and counters with a close line to the face, this gets her and he pushes her to the ground at a distance.
"Listen Kid" he starts talking with his hand outstretched "I don't get what you're doing, but this cannot be what you want to do with your life, a Thief?" Peter says, reasoning with her
She and he circle each other with their stances out and ready "You don't know what you're talking about…Ravager" she rushes at him, jumping for an attack. As she jumped, she made sure her knee was lifted into the air, as quick as her disappearing was, so was her reappearing and delivering a knee to his jaw, following up with the Black Widow Leg Lock twisting around and tossing him to the ground. She moves forward with a straight kick to the face, he uses two Symbiote Tendrils from the shoulders to grab hold of her foot and flip her over her head, catching herself on her hands, she cartwheels to her feet. Cocking her fist back [ GIGAWATT PUNCH] and delivers a heavy jab to his face, his head is sent back, she turns off her Venom power "Oh sorry" Ravager turns around, his eyes much sharper than they were before [ SYMBIOTE YANK] shooting multiple tendrils at her, ensnaring and lifting her up to the sky, her feet dangle in the air and she phases out of that, landing on the ground,
The two stare at each other for a moment, 'This isn't working, she can Phase, is it tech or is that part of her powers?' Peter thinks to himself, 'Not to mention her hits are crazy hard, if I had my old powers right now, Strength and Durability aside, that first hit would've killed me' he continues to analyze her, 'How do I handle someone like her? Wait!'
He jumps up and begins swinging away, expecting her to chase him down, but looking back at her, she doesn't, no, she's not there anymore, then once more, Spider-Sense, turning around, he quickly dodges a kick to the face, Shadow-Spider's kick 'Right! Teleporter!' he continues to swing away as she shoots a web line, swinging after him. Activating her Camouflage, Peter thinks to himself 'Great! just fucking great!' Ravager continues to swing through the city, while cautious of this new enemy, Invisible, Teleportation and Phasing, it was like he was fighting against an actual Shadow, not all there and always there.
[ ALPHA ROCKETS] His spider sense went off again, he dodged out of the way of multiple projectile lightning blasts, they discharged quickly enough for nothing to become of them, but they released a massive burst of energy, facing up, she was gone again, a droplet of sweat trickled down his face, head turning left and right, she hadn't reappeared.
At this point, he had to ask himself. Was he leading her anywhere, or was she just hunting him down.
BACK WITH THE AVENGERS
The surrounding areas had been reduced to rubble, Iron-Man laid on the ground, the Mysterium Armor he wore was reduced to almost nothing, scrap metal at most, bits and pieces of it hung everywhere as Tony himself laid in a crater. She-Hulk wasn't faring any better, as her body dropped out of the sky, she had regressed down back to her regular form, completely unconscious.
And finally, up and above, the star faring Carol Danvers, Astronaut, Avenger, Guardian of the Galaxy, Kree Super Warrior, most powerful being in the Universe (so she said) and now, she was shown as the last one standing, one eye closed with trails of blood from her forehead, her mouth, her suit was heavily damaged, as she was only a black bra top, with her pants being reduced to partially shorts. Her bare skin arms were raised crossed in front of her, having blocked an attack from Maverick.
Smoke bellowed from her arms and the surrounding areas, her legs shaking, heavy breathing as sweat poured down her pours, and finally, dropping down to both arms and one knee, raising her head to face Maverick and he was standing before her, his hand outstretched, smoking from the intensity of that last attack. Cracking his knuckles, before her, whatever this power he was using, Her Binary Form can't stand to it, suddenly, he appears before her as she was still down on the ground. Raising up her head, shocked at how fast he had traversed that distance, almost instantaneous, his arms were crossed as he had this… confused? Look expression on his face, eyebrow raised with mouth slightly opened, his power still active, she readied herself for another attack.
Up above, the New Chopper that was reporting all of this were just as flabbergasted at what was going on right now, the camera and mics focused squarely on the events happening at the moment. Broadcasting the events of this battle everywhere.
"It's not looking good folks, Iron-Man and She-Hulk have already been put down by this monster, and now, Captain Marvel has been brought down to her knees… and it doesn't look she's getting up"
Around the World, Heroes and Villains watched on in horror as this was going on, Moonstone watched as her longtime rival had been put down on the ropes throughout this entire fight. On the Other side of the world, Bruce Banner was yelled at the Hulk to turn to the TV. Seeing Jennifer being put down like that, unconscious on the ground. Mayor Luke Cage and Jessica Jones watched on, holding their children carefully as this slaughter continued.
In California, Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman watched on as her best friend (And closet Crush) Carol Danvers was absolutely getting the stuffing kicked out of her and she was too far away to do anything about it. Silently praying for her not to give up, she couldn't lose, she was Captain Marvel, she was top of the list for a reason.
In Latveria, Even Victor Von Doom although it silent, was impressed by the power this being had on display, being able to dismantle Stark, Walters and Danvers all at the same time and still have enough left to be standing over one of the most powerful women in the world as if she were a mere ant before him. Very Impressive.
Krokoa, Rogue, Logan, Laura, Fang, Scout, Jean, Storm, Cyclops and Nightcrawler were all in the same room watching what was occurring in New York, this had been the power that Jean had sensed beforehand, Emma contacted Jean through their psychic link.
"Emma?"
"…Tell me you feel this as well darling"
Jean nodded "What is that?"
"I-I don't know" she said to her "This, I don't" a chill in her voice as all of them watched the same things unfold, Carol was one of the strongest people in the Universe and yet, that man was dominating her throughout their fight.
NEW YORK
It was Over. The battle had Ended. And Captain Marvel was defeated, her body laid on the ground with several fist marks in her torso. Blood draped down her face, exited from her pours, no one had even seen Captain Marvel in such a state, it was almost unheard of for her to ever lose a fight, but it had happened and brutally so.
Maverick hovered down, his arms crossed as he landed next to her downed form. Staring down at her, brows lowered straight, eyes void of motion, finding himself bored with her.
"I was promised a challenge; this was the challenge I was promised. After all the legends, 30% of my full strength was enough to bring you down"
As soon as he says this, Shadow-Spider is sent flying back to him, she landed on her hand, flipping up to her feet and landing in the spider pose. He glances back at her "Are we done here?" he asks her, not averting his gaze from the defeated Avenger. Standing up, as Ravager comes down [ SYMBIOTE STRIKE ] he leaps up in a mass of violent black tendrils, coming down in a torrent, he shoots her up into the sky, jumping up and he connects a knee to her chin, following this up by a side punch, instantly recovering from that knee to the chin, she ducks under him while they were still in the air, delivering a spin kick to the side of his head.
That one kick sent him rolling down him on the ground, he steadies himself as she teleports in for another quick jab, he catches her fist, throwing one of his own, in which she also grabs, the two interlock in a test of strength, winding their heads back, and connecting a head-butt on the other, winding back for another, they connect once more, and then another. They lock harder into their might, both of their feet dig into the ground beneath them.
Glaring daggers into the other, their arms shook as the ground beneath them gave way, cracks and splits forming as they pushed against one another, neither able to overcome the others' strength. Ravager and Shadow-Spider pulled free from one another, she sent a punch his way, turning around he counters and flipping and throwing her over his shoulder. While the Spider and Symbiote duked it out, Maverick stood there watching the two of them clash fists, arms crossed hovering in the air, a smile across his face, but then, his coms-link goes off
{David, we have an issue}
"What is it?"
Back in their base, Track sat there, headphones active as she checked security camera across the city
{We got X-Men and Avengers crossing from the Washington Park Gate and heading here, particularly, The Scarlet Witch and Thor}
Maverick clenched his fist, spitting out then faced back down to the battle. Shadow-Spider and he crossed high round house kicks, flipping back to the feet, jumping forward, driving their fists into the others' face, knocking one another back. Shadow's mask cracked and half of it broke off, revealing her light tone skin, while for him, his Symbiote began to repair itself, both fighters panting and sweating, maybe, Ravager wasn't sure if he was sweating. She was about to charge at him again, until Maverick grabbed her from behind "Hey, what're you doing" he was holding the Gene Trigger Case in his other hand, she tried breaking free of his grip
"The Viking God and Chaos Goddess are on their way here now. And on a regular day, I'd be Elated to test my metal against them, but not now"
Shadow faced back at Ravager, who had grown red spiked tendrils from his back, aiming them at him [ SYMBIOTE SHARDS] firing multiple large crystalline blood spikes at them. Standing in front of his partner he sticks his hand out [ FORCE FIELD] generating a protective barrier around the two of them, the spikes connect and are instantly shattered on impact with the field. Degenerating the field, grabbing and picking her up like a princess, he drops down to a crouch position, follicles of air gathered round him, rocks lifting into the air, as he takes off-
BOOM!
VHOOOM!
-and blasts off to the skies, much faster than Peter had witnessed many of his friends in the Avengers and X-Men do.
{ Ugh, it would appear that in the aftermath of this battle, our assailants of the Shadow-Spider and Maverick assault on Avengers Tower, the last man standing would be, The Ravage } The News Chopper Crew announced over Live Broadcast { Having gone toe-to-toe against the Shadow-Spider who was able to best the Black Panther and New Spider-Man and on previous nights, shown able to match Iron-Man }
Ravager wasn't sure on what to do now, he was standing but, holding unto his arm, Shadow-Spider's fists struck like a freight train, if he didn't know any better, he would say she hit as hard as the Hulk and Morlun. The pained groans of his allies and Tony, broke him out of his thoughts, going over to Carol first, she had literally gotten it the worst amongst all of them.
Placing his hand on her, allowing the White Anti-Venom Tendrils to wrap around her, she opens one eyes albeit begrudgingly 'H-Hey, w- (spits out blood) what do- think you're doing' he starts the healing process, the feeling of it burns "Hey, hey, don't move too much okay, this is my first time healing someone" he tells her as he continues healing her very broken body. Soon, before she knew it, her breathing eased up, her swelling of her black eye started to go down, bones reassembling themselves and muscle tissue growing back stronger.
As he finished, she sprung to life once more, a long gasp of air entered her. She looked at her hands, she was still roughed up pretty bad. She turns to face him, feeling herself, no broken bones
"How you doing?" he asks her
Feeling her biceps "I-I'm good~"
He closes his eyes, giving her a thumbs up. Helping Carol up to her feet, the Ambulances and Emergency Services arrived on the scene, a stretcher was pulled down via helicopter, placing She-Hulk unto it and carrying her, Tony's armor's life support was still function so that was…okay? The last was T'challa, the king was tough, but Ravager doubted even he could tank being dropped 80-93stories straight to the ground in a clothesline to the head like that. 'I gotta give Shadow-Spider credit, girl knows how to fight'
"excuse me"
Ravager put his hand on his chin, trying to think of how a Spider person could possibly strong enough to not only break through Adamantium, but Vibranium as well with her Bare Hands and that other one, Maverick, not only did he completely outclass Shulky, but Carol as well. And how the hell could someone destroy their way through Mysterium?
"Excuse Me!" a voice yelled out
Turning around, Betty Brant of the Daily Bugle stood behind him, looking slightly annoyed with her arms to her waist and her face pouted
"Oh hi Betty"
She raises an eyebrow at him calling her by her friendlier name "Okay, Mr. Ravager, I have a few questions for you for the Bugle"
"Oh sorry look at the time, I gotta go" he Web Zips away, swinging away from the scene. 'Man, that was insane, but at least Tony got the stuffing beat outta him, man did it feel good to watch that' while swinging, firing two tendrils to both sides of him, spinning himself in a circle, throwing himself up into a higher building, running on the side to the top of a vantage point. Crouching down on a gargoyle, looking down on the city in front of him, he sat down, knees forward, hands resting on them and his head lowered. Thoughts clouded his mind, thoughts on whom that Spider-Girl was and how did she know?
FLASHBACK
[ VENOM DASH] She charges at him, tackling him to the ground, she spins him around and tosses him into the air, purple electricity danced around his body, while still in midair, he shoots out four tendrils from his back, latching them into the ground and turning himself upright, he retracts them into himself, landing on the ground in the same Spider pose she had stuck.
Panting heavily, getting up to a fighting stance "Man, since when are Spider-People this strong?" he asked rhetorically
"Maybe… I'm just… like that" she said between pants "But there is one thing I want to ask you, why're you fighting for the people who allowed Tony to take your powers away and didn't even come check whether you were alive or not?" this questions comes at a shock to him.
END OF FLASHBACK
How did she know about Tony taking his powers away, it couldn't be that they were working together, Tony literally said he was going to do the same thing to her, so that possibility was ruled out, and all this stuff she was stealing what was it all for?
"And worst of all she has an ally that can tear apart Mysterium, how do I even begin to fight something like that?"
As he ponders this very serious question, one other important thing came to mind. The woman he was falling in love with.
SOMEWHERE
Katie and David dropped the briefcase down with Sophia, sitting down before her computers, preparing something working with genetic manipulation.
"We got it babe"
Sophia got up from her seat and squealed like a school girl while shaking her hands, a wide smile on her face, Katie swooned over her girlfriend's hidden cute side, Sophia bopped her nose with a wide smile on her face.
"Aww, the sneer of joy" her hands to her face with her cheeks red
Sophia raised an eyebrow to this "The what?" her smile still there
"You know~" she points a finger at her face "When you just have the prettiest smile in the world"
David shook his head "Okay can the two of you note flirt ~over massively, in front of me, please" he begs. They face him, both cowl with resting bitch faces, a devious smirk creeps its way unto Sophia's face, she holds onto Katie's chin, and pulls her in for a kiss. Eyes wide but eventually getting into it.
Hurk! *
He holds back, covering his mouth "Yeah I'm gonna be, anywhere that isn't here" and with that, Maverick was no longer in the room. The girls peek at the door, Sophia breaks the kiss with a smile, Katie winked at her, pecking her on the nose before Sophia can sit back down on the system. Katie wraps her arm around her, Sophia holds her arm, opening your eyes, she notices something, claws, there were claw marks on her arm.
"You okay, those slashes look pretty bad"
Katie panned down to her arm "Huh? Didn't really notice that before. T'challa actually got a hit on me, he is good"
Sophia spun her chair around, holding Katie by the waist, "As good as me" an eyebrow raised and a cheeky smile on her face, Katie leaned in closer, their lips just an inch away from hers "Does thy fairest maiden sense a hint of jealously?" she says in a medieval accent
A small peck on the lips, her hand slipping down her waist to her more, peachy region "If thou had a rear this impressive, whom would not be jealous"
" PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!" a male voice screams through the metal doors. The two break apart, stunned in silence as the seconds of processing went by, then both of them let out a cheeky smile and laugh,
"We shouldn't probably scar the poor guy" Katie said

The Tower wasn't in the worst shape it could be in in all honesty, they had seen the tower be completely wiped off the map before, this though was just their living room was trashed. Carol walked into the room with an arm band, She-Hulk had a few bumps and bruised but nothing her healing factor wont restore soon enough.
Black Panther was relatively the most okay of the group as was Tony.
"How is everyone doing?" Black Panther asks
Twirling her shoulder "Eh nothing too bad, but payback would be much better" Captain Marvel answered. Tony walked into the room out of his Mysterium Armor, he had a bandage on his forehead, and nothing more
"Okay team, we just took an L to a guy we don't know and a Spider-Woman. That is something we cannot have happening again"
"What did you have in mind Tony?" She-Hulk asked "I called in some friends"

From the Elevator, out came the X-Men, the shockwaves from that display of power from Maverick was enough to reach even them on their Island Paradise of Krokoa. Cyclops, Wolverine, Magneto, Jean Grey, Rogue and Storm. The most powerful and dangerous Mutants on the planet, they wanted retribution against those who would do harm to their sacred land.
"Ah recon y'all need some help round here?" Rogue asked, winking at Carol
Summers and Stark shook hands, nodding t each other "We got your call Stark, what're we up against here?" Storm and Ororo meet up once more, the Weather Goddess and the King of Wakanda embrace, a long time since they had been in the same room as one another.
"So wat you got for us Stark?" Logan asked the Billionaire
Starks pulls up a Holo Screen of the Battle, showcasing Maverick's power, ability and fighting prowess, "The man is surely well trained, that much is obvious" Magneto states. "Is there anything else?"
Tony shows a scan he did on Maverick or David "I don't have an ID on him, whoever he is, he doesn't exist anywhere. But I was able to figure out his power, he's not a Mutant, he's Enhanced" showing the level of Bio-Machinery inside of his body. "I've never seen tech like this, so perfectly engraved into his self that it could pass for being genetic of sorts"
"Genetic Technology? that's absurd" Storm said
"I know how it sounds, but that's how it looks, whatever this technology is., I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen technological enhancements before, but this is on another level, like, Millions of Years ahead of anything I've seen"
"Okay Stark, what about the other one"
For Shadow-Spider, he pulls up the footage of her robbery of the Stark Storage Facility, her abilities, Teleportation and Phasing. But not just that, the footage also shows the Adamantium Barrier she punched through and tore apart, all without even hurting her hand one bit. She drags the barrier apart, stunning Wolverine, Adamantium and Vibranium were the strongest metals on Earth and this girl just destroyed both of them with her bare hands.
"This is quite the feat of strength dear… Shadow-Spider?" Storm praises the woman, to which all the others glance at her but she remains without elaborating further.
"Yep, that's what we're dealing with and although it temporary, I don't have a solution to either of them" Stark admits "So give me like an hour and we'll have this in the bag"
Storm, Jean and Logan all roll their eyes at his self-given arrogance. Cyclops observes the Shadow-Spider, he had to admit that the girl was capable of quite a lot, even when watching her absolutely tear apart Iron-Spider with ease. "What about that Ravager guy?" Storm asked
"No idea about him, dude just showed up 2 Months Ago. What about him?"
"He seemed to more than match the Strength of this Shadow-Spider. Why not recruit him as a possible ally?"
"Because he can't be trusted, too much of a wild card, can't be controlled"
That made the Mutants and even the Other Avengers to question what he meant by 'Controlled'
BACK WITH PETER PARKER
Peter snuck back into his apartment, today had been a weird one, Shadow-Spider and he fought, the Avengers had been attacked and what were his dreams about.
Were…were they a warning about the Symbiote?
He woke up somewhere else completely, just like with Venom.
Opening the window, he crawled into the apartment, his Symbiote Suit retracting into his body "AHHH!" coming from inside, he turned his hands to Carnage Blades to which he saw where aimed at none other than Mary Jane Watson.

Things are starting to heat up with Maverick showcasing a level of strength that has never been seen before, with even the Holy Mutant Metal of Mysterium proving all but useless, how will the Avengers and now joining the fight since the quakes of Maverick's unleashed power were strong enough to reach even the Likes of Krokoa and Wakanda.
