Danny Fenton: Season of Growth

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! I hope all of you are doing fine out there!
Before I do or say anything else, I want to give praise and glory to the Lord! Thank you God for once again helping me, not just with my stories but with my personal life as well. I know I have made a lot of mistakes and kept slipping down, but thanks to you, I get back up and try to become better. Not just for myself, but for you Jesus. I will continue to do my best for you and your Father, and I ask that you continue to watch over & guide my family, my friends and all of those out there that need you very much Lord.
I also ask you God to please guide, strengthen and forge our new leader of the United States of America- Donald Trump. He is doing excellent so far, but he will need much help from us citizens here in the U.S. to get things back in order. So Jesus, please protect and watch over our new leader & his supporters. And also Lord, I ask you to look after the ones that are affected by the fires in California, the hurricane victims in North Carolina and more! And also to look after Israel and her people, to give them complete victory over Hamas & Hezbollah, and to stand strong against those that are against your people and land!
I now want to say this to Authors Guest and gonzo22. I appreciate the honest reviews you gave, as while it was criticism at least it was respectful and civil. So while I appreciate the honesty, know that I plan to continue this story series as best I can. Going to be four books, now that I think about, as long as my Monsters and Magic series. Going to push on as best I can, though I know I will need guidance, advice and help from my friends and from the Lord. And that is that.
And here is my last message to Billy Butcher; I am done with you Billy. You continue to speak like this to me in a manner that is uncivilized, not proper & you continue to mock God and Jesus like so. So I am done with you.
You continue to advocate for something that was doomed to fail from the very start. The things you defend is now sinking fast like the ship Titanic. Point in fact & truth, the groups and their agendas are like the ship itself; it was flashy, show, looking big and strong, loud in its grand size. But when hit with a hard & strong dose of reality/common sense/truth, it started to sink. It rose up high with its colorful but false pride and stance, then broke in half and is now sinking down fast. And in its wake, sucking people down to try and take them with it.
So Billy, I can only pray and hope that you & others of your ilk get the help you need in the heart & in the head. To see the light and to get out from the toxic quicksand before it is too late. I forgive you once more for your words and comments, but now I am done. Ignoring you now from here on in should you continue in your foolish quest to degrade me due to my beliefs & stance.
And Billy… when you mock God and His Son Jesus, its at your own peril and choice. I believe God has a sense of humor, as I believe when He was forming me in my mother's womb, He was watching a lot of good Disney cartoons at the moment. And I actually love it how He made me to be! But the Lord does NOT like mocking like you and others do. I mean, look what happened to Hollywood when celebrities mocked Him during the Golden Globe Awards.
So again Billy, I implore you to stop your words & actions before God Himself decides to teach you a lesson for said words and actions. When Jesus brings retribution, He does not mess around.
I really will strive for Danny and the other characters, both minor and major, to experience character growth and development. I know I may put a bit of myself into Danny, but I assure you that I will not make him into OP Gary Stu or anything akin to it! And he will not be a simp or simping, something that I find negative and wrong on many levels.
I read a fanfic called Fresh Air by Author Drones-of-Innocence, a Mario fanfiction where Princess Peach is a stripper in secret & everyone in the kingdom knows of Mario's crush on her. However, she is suspicious of his actions and does not believe that someone who rescues princesses does it out the pure kindness of heart. So she tests him, and she soon discovers herself falling for him when he answers truthfully & honestly. He turns out to be a real gentleman, and also does not realize who she is when she speaks to him at the club.
Also the fanfic is rated T for teens, and surprisingly there is little to no nudity. Some coarse language here and there, but the story is surprisingly good to read.
This got me to havng the girls try to test Danny in the future, as some are not completely crushing on him yet. But he will rise to the tests and show to them that he is not faking it. It will start in the future, so be prepared.
And finally this, every ten chapters or so, will showcase what is happening in the other universe. I plan for the Fentons, Paulina, Star, Tucker, Jazz, Valerie and more to experience growth and development as well! And also showcase some theories/ideas that me and my friend Author Dreams Come True 996 have discussed for some time now, a couple of years to be exact!
We discovered that Butch Hartman and his writers really left a LOT of plot holes in the series concerning ghosts, and also that they did a lot of characters dirty in said series. So we aim to fix that with theories & ideas of our own!
And one final thing. There WILL be Christian elements in my story, and for that I am unapologetic! If you have a problem with it, not much I can or will do about it. So expect some things from the Bible I have to be shown in some chapters in the future, for it will help to shape Danny into becoming something more!
Now that is settled, time to move on!
I wish to do this for my Tia Pamela Espurova-Allen, and will keep doing it until some solid news comes in. She is working with police and other official groups to locate and bring home a missing girl that is part of a family she works with & has befriended.
Her name is Lina Khil, a little girl that was taken on December 20th, 2021. The search is still on for her, but so far… no luck. A lead was discovered some time ago, but still no word yet on situation. Please continue to pray for them, and also to be on the lookout for her.
Her information is this: She was four years old when she was abducted; hair brown, eyes brown, race Afghan, weight 55 lbs. & height 4'0. If any can help to locate and find her, please do so and notify the proper authorities. Hoping and praying still that she is found alive & returned to her family. They have put up a special about her on TV thanks to the San Antonio Police Department. Any information you wish to seek about her you can search for online, and hopefully it will help to find her and bring her back home safely.
In the words of Winston Churchill- You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. I will not kowtow or submit myself to others who feel offended at such in what I believe in, and make a big fuss or drama over it that causes unnecessary/unwanted trouble because of them being oversensitive and such.
A new Guest reviewer named Victor Hugo stated in a previous chapter that the quote is false. Well… I do not believe so. I looked it up, and it showcases that Fact-Checkers say that it's false. Considering that it's these so-called Checkers that stated this, makes me believe more that Winston's quote is real. So real or not, going to keep posting it up.
And here is a quote from my Christian hero and role model- Carmelo Domenic Licciardello! He said this: We are called to be effective, not popular. And this I agree with very much.
We cannot please everyone, nor do we ever wish to do so. You lose your identity, your purpose, your direction & your connection with Jesus Christ. So while others may not be pleased at this, it is what it is. Prince Detonay is a character from a dear friend of mine Author AustralianBeast17. I just got word concerning him that… sighs he passed on in December 2024. When Danny and the ladies arrive, it is at the very early stages of the Piccolo Jr. Saga, at the exact moment when Shen Long was revived and granted the wish of bringing those that were killed by Demon King Piccolo and his minions back to life. And with a three-year gap before the next tournament, it would give Danny and his date's ample time to explore the new reality/world they are in & to collect the Dragon Balls.
Danny Phantom is a cartoon series that was created by Butch Hartman, developed by Steve Marmel. The series aired on April 2004, the network that released it was Nickelodeon. The production companies were Billionford Inc. and Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with the distributors being Viacom International Inc. and Nelvana. Look for my Danny Phantom series and specials when getting the chance, if you please. This takes place after the episode De-Stabilized, but before Phantom Planet. And also, said last episode will NOT be featured here.
DragonBall is a manga/anime series that was written by Akira Toriyama, published by Shueisha Inc. with North America published by Viz Media. The manga was created in December 1984, ending in June 1995 with forty-two volumes. The anime was directed by Minoru Okazaki & Daisuke Nisho, produced by Tokizō Tsuchiya/Kenji Shimizu/Jun'ichi Ishikawa. Studio was Toei Animation, licensed by Funimation Entertainment for North America. Original network that broadcasted it was Fuji TV, with multiple English networks such as Cartoon Network Toonami and Funimation Channel. It ran from February 1986 to April 1989.
If you wish, use your imagination and put in any kind of song/music intro from any anime series with the Intro and Outro here. And also, so no one is confused, this is DragonBall & not DragonBall Z. And also, not going to follow the Dragonball Super anime or manga series in any way. And not going to follow the current, too-many reboot/remake arcs to name that have been cropping up recently.

Training and Assistance Galore!
It was about 7:55 a.m. when Master Roshi's new pupils managed to find some water. It was Wendy Corduroy that managed to find it in the spot she was digging in, finding a couple of the large black scorpions nearby & remembering the words of Nam. Thankfully, the arachnids scuttled away to safety so she was in no danger of being stung. Once she dug down deep and felt moisture, she yelled loudly that she found water. That had the others rushing over to her spot quickly, soon all working together to dig through the sand… and soon enough uncovered the life-giving liquid! The group cheered, and it was Kitty that called out to Master Roshi & Nam that they found water.
This had Nam calling out the villagers to go and assist the pupils of the ancient master, many men and women rushing out with either shovels or empty jars.
The villagers cheered as they started to dig more around the hole, expanding it & using the empty jars to scoop out the water. Danny and the others stood to the side as they watched the people go at it. Their uniforms were dirty & their hands were a bit worn from digging so hard in the desert sands, but they were satisfied to help the villagers.
Nam, Master Roshi, Johar & Gauhar went to them with the elderly teacher speaking with a hint of pride in his tone, "Congratulations to you Wendy for discovering the water and calling everyone to help you out.".
The female lumberjack from Gravity Falls smirked with confidence and replied, "No biggie Roshi! It was thanks to a couple of black scorpions that I managed to see that led me to the spot. Thanks for the info for earlier Nam!".
Said man bowed to her in gratitude and replied, "You are most welcome Miss Wendy. And thank you all for finding the water, though it will be in a different place the next day.".
This had a majority of the group now groan, realizing that the real work would be locating the water in a different spot. And in such an expansive desert, to boot.
Master Roshi softly chuckled a little to himself, then stated, "Well then, I believe I promised you all breakfast so let's get to it! Just a light jog away from here.".
He turned to Nam and the elders, thanking them for letting his pupils help them. The pacifist fighter and the leaders of the village replied that the honor was all theirs, and await his students the next morning. Danny and the others gave bows of respect to the trio as well before Master Roshi told them to follow him.
As they went eastward, Johar spoke up, "Master Roshi's students certainly are varied and different, but they all seem to be quite capable.".
His wife added in, "Indeed so. Though they have only just begun in their training, I believe they can go quite far. What do you think Nam?".
The tall man who had managed to give Goku a good fight years ago answered, "Hmm. Indeed, they will go far. If Master Roshi is training them, then they have much potential and promise to unlock. After all… he did train Krillin and Goku, and those two went far in the tournament.".
Nam wanted to say more however, but he soon believed it best to keep it to himself. He said to himself, 'Some of those young ones give off an unusual sensation… a vibration of sort that tells me they are more than just human. Especially the one called Danny. I sense something else about him… but nothing malicious or evil. I wonder… will he be like the young boy Goku whom I fought? Will he exceed expectations from Master Roshi?'.
The formidable fighter took one last look at the group as they continued to head eastward, then turned his attention to helping his fellow villagers with the water.
As the pupils of Master Roshi did a light jog following their master, they were starting to feel the burn in many ways from their first day of training. Each of them thought this, 'We were told about Master Roshi's training from the others, but it's something to actually do it!'.
Starfire had no problems with the training so far, but even she had to admit to herself that it was highly unusual than the training she got back home. The group continued onward, seeing that the landscape was slowly changing from desert to scrub desert, plants and rocky outcroppings becoming more plentiful. They had gone about three miles in a light jog, and they saw the landscape change a bit once more. The plants they passed by changed from cacti and spiny plants, to grass and bushes that was more a vibrant green color.
To those versed in certain parks, it looked similar to the Mohave Desert Scrub area located in the Grand Canyon–Parashant National Monument at Arizona in the United States.
It was about 8:15 a.m. when Master Roshi stopped in front of a small building that looked big enough to hold at least 50 people inside. It looked similar to the restaurant that Roshi took Goku and the others after the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. A wooden sign was above the place that had Japanese kanji written on it, but underneath it were its translation words in English that read this- SHINY DRAGON MIST EATERY. Above the sign was a dragon that looked to be carved out of a shiny material that sparkled in the sunlight. It was made out of blue-green tourmaline which was a gemstone.
He gestured to the door and proclaimed, "Okay everyone, here is where we eat!".
His pupils rushed in there, the smell of food calling to them & they were hungry! They actually stampeded over Roshi, who let out a yelp before he got run over by his students! The dust soon cleared up, and the Turtle Hermit was on the ground, moaning a little in pain as he was a bit embedded in the grassy ground. Brown footprint marks were all over him, and his glasses were a bit misshapen from being stepped on like so. His shades were in good order though, not busted as he had decided to get lenses that were deemed unbreakable.
And it seems that they lived up the test. He twitched a little, rising up from the ground and looking to the audience in a 4th Wall Breaker pose and said in a pained tone, "I forgot… never stand between… a hungry person and food. Especially… a horde of them…".
The patrons of the restaurant looked at large table in dumbfounded awe, seeing thirteen newcomers just eating away at anything that was set before them! The place made both Eastern and Western food, so it was suitable for all with certain tastes. While the group were not in a feeding frenzy like a certain monkey-tailed boy with a hearty appetite, they were eating quickly and swallowing it down like it was going out of style!
Master Roshi, Kim Possible, Katie Kaboom and Barbara ate with some decorum, but the rest were really going at it!
The Turtle Hermit thought to himself as he sipped a glass of cold milk, 'I'm glad that I had the foresight to ask Danny if he could bring his credit card with us. Otherwise I would have paid for all of this myself.'.
Last night, Master Roshi asked Danny if he could use his card for tomorrow for breakfast. He answered that he did not mind, but that Master Roshi would have to hold onto it until they arrived at the place where it would be used. The security features though on the card would only allow him to pay with it. The halfa stated that he did not mind footing the bill, especially since he and the ladies had a LOT of money to spend.
It was 8:50 a.m. when the group ended breakfast, a pile of empty plates in front of them that was a sight to see! Not as big or numerous as the ones Goku put away after his loss against Jackie Chun, but it was still impressive. Danny patted his tummy, sighed loudly and stated in contentment, "Ahhh… that hit the spot…".
April did a little burp, covering her mouth and her face turning a bit red in embarrassment. She removed her hand and said, "Excuse me.".
Wendy chuckled and commented with some pride in her tone, "That's nothing girl! You should hear the ones that I make! Now that is something!".
Master Roshi saw the time on a nearby clock that was hanging on the wall near the entrance/exit. He stood up and announced, "Okay everyone, glad to see you're all full. Now come on, time to get going!".
The group rose up from their seats, Master Roshi leaving a good tip by using his own cash that he carried on him. Danny told the girls that he would pay for breakfast, the ladies giving him a grateful smile & thanking the young man. The young women waited outside as Danny paid the cashier, Master Roshi giving his card back so he could use it.
The cashier was a middle aged woman with brown hair, coke-bottle swirly glasses, fair skin and wearing casual clothing with a tag that showed her name in bold black letters YUKA, gasped softly as she saw the dark-blue card. She had seen credit/debit cards before, but not the kind that Danny was giving to her. She had heard that only the real elites used this card, and that there was a different method for handling it that HAD to be done first.
Yuka pulled out a small thumb scanner and asked in a professional tone, "Sir, I need to see your ID and also to scan your thumb please.".
Master Roshi pulled from his pocket Danny's ID, the halfa hero giving it to him along with his card last night. Yuka scanned the ID as the young man put his thumb on the scanner. While it looked like a normal scanner, it had a special feature that made it different from ordinary ones.
The scanners had microscopic scanners that would scan for any foreign substance on the skin, particularly anything that was used to copy prints like the kind police & professional thieves used. If the substance was on the appendage, it would let out a silent alarm to police before denying the one who tried to fool it and the cashier.
When Vicky Eileen and her fellow workers at the West City National Bank made security features for very important patrons like the Brief family or those that were very rich, they went above and beyond!
The scanner blinked green, indicating that Danny was the holder of the card. The ID scan showed the words VERIFIED on the small plastic screen as well. Seeing that it all checked out, Yuka used the card to make the transaction. Danny saw that the total meal was about 12,500 zeni, and while that did sound & look like a lot, it was actually small especially for the amount of food they ate. And it would not even make a dent in the money that was in both the Checking & Savings account.
Danny had thirty billion zeni in total, but much of it was spread over multiple accounts. Despite the assurances from Vicky Eileen and her companions, he just did not feel comfortable with all that money in just two accounts. So he insisted on having multiple accounts, having learned to save from Jazz since Jack & Maddie would spend much of their money on their inventions & research.
Once it was done, Danny and Master Roshi thanked Yuka as she returned the card to the halfa. The duo walked out the establishment, Yuka still floored that someone of that high financial status was doing way out in the country. And dressed like a martial artist.
Master Roshi looked to his pupils and stated, "Okay everyone, now that our tummies are full & our thirst quenches, let's go and work on our minds. Follow me!".
He turned around and headed east once more, this time in a little jog. Danny and the others sighed before following after him, the students working off the meals they had just eaten. It was about 9:00 a.m. when they reached their destination, which was a wide prairie with short green grass stretching for miles.
The Turtle Hermit stopped and looked behind him to see his students. He stated, "Okay then, this is where we shall forge our minds. A strong body and strong heart are useless without a strong mind & will to back them up. So from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., we shall be studying. And since you all are from another universe, we're going to learn different courses at different times.".
He stated that on Monday, Wednesday and Friday they would study up on Math and Geography. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday they would learn Japanese language & World History. On Sunday it would be at random. Makoto stated that she was well-versed in Japanese, So Master Roshi put Makoto as a tutor for the others to learn.
Kim, Cree, April and Barbara did have some lessons in Japanese but not completely. Starfire could have gotten the language by kissing someone native to the land, as direct mouth-to-mouth contact was needed for the language-learning ability to kick in. But she believed it would be more appropriate to learn a language the old-fashioned way.
Master Roshi then took out the orange Capsule Corp. orange case, opening it wide to show that he had twenty capsules within it. There were fourteen brown Capsules, one dark-green Capsule, one white Capsule, one pink Capsule, one light-blue Capsule, a violet Capsule and finally a black Capsule. He took out one of the brown Capsules, clicking on the top button and tossing it upwards. When it hit the ground, an explosion of smoke followed and when it cleared up, appearing before the group were desks with chairs attached to it with steel storage rackets down below.
The elderly teacher of martial arts did the same with the rest of the brown Capsules, save one since Gwen was not with them. He activated the dark-green Capsule which held a large forest-green chalkboard. Roshi then activated the white Capsule, which contained a desk that was his. It appeared to be similar to a Nate Junior Teachers Desk- Single Pedestal model. He pressed the violet Capsule and tossed it on the desk, which soon revealed it had fourteen boxes. The Turtle Hermit then tossed the black Capsule on his desk, which soon revealed to be a multitude of books on the subjects he had just spoken about.
He instructed for Danny and the others to align the desks in rows of three in a square formation, saying that the last odd one would be put in the front instead of the back. Once it their task was completed, Roshi told them to come to his desk to choose one of the boxes, then to take their seats.
One by one the students of the Turtle Hermit took the boxes, going to the seats they believed was ideal for them. Danny was situated in the second row, middle area. The girls that were close to him were situated in clockwise-motion starting at 12:00; Starfire, Katie, Kim, Penny, Makoto, Alex, Violet and Barbara. They opened the boxes to see that inside of them was a spiral-bound College-Ruled notebook, and each notebook was in a different color for each student. Danny got one that was the color of his eyes in his Mortal-form, and he thought it was apt. Beside the notebook was a large clear plastic pouch that held school supplies.
Each bag contained two No.2 pencils, a manual pencil sharpener that was a different color like the notebooks for each person, two pens that could switch between four different colors (blue, black, red and green), a large eraser just in case the ones on the pencils wore off, a protractor that looked like a BAZIC Products 180 Protractor item & finally a small box that contained twenty-four different colored pencils.
Master Roshi then handed out the books that they would be studying for the day, putting the rest inside the desk drawer. They would be kept well and safe in there even when it was time to put the desk back in Capsule-form. Danny and the others saw the two books that were given to them; a hardcover book that showed a globe of the planet Earth with the words in black bold English words above WORLD HISTORY that looked quite thick, and a slightly thinner hardcover book that had three kanji symbols on the front & below it were the words in bold black letters JAPANESE TO ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS.
Once it was complete, the elderly teacher took out the last two Capsules. He turned to his right, clicking the pink one first and tossing it. It hit the ground, and once again exploded. When the dust settled, it was revealed to be a white large domed structure with pink lines in certain areas, with a window on the left side of it & with the image of a woman in pink coloring on the door. Roshi did the same with the blue Capsule, tossing it to land on the right side of the structure. An exact structure came into existence, but it was white and blue, with the image of a man on it.
The images were used to signify bathrooms. Master Roshi looked to his pupils and explained, "Portable useable bathrooms courtesy of the Red Ribbon Army. It seems that they had portable facilities for their troops in the field, but the higher officers had better ones then the soldiers. So now putting them to good use. Me and the others managed to get them both ready last night, so they are good to go.".
In the past, he had Krillin, Goku and Yamcha do their business in the wild when their training was from civilization. But he believed that with this new group under him, it would be better to be civilized like so… especially now that he had females to teach. Each portable restroom had its own septic tank that was automatically dug into the ground at optimal levels, and also a pipe system where it would drill automatically for an underwater reservoir to utilize for the sink and toilets.
Master Roshi, Chiaotzu and Krillin cleaned out the tanks with special chemical products meant to clean them, but they did it on the outside walls far from the place as to not let the smell of it be around the facility. Bulma and Good-Launch put the necessary items for each bathroom, like toilet paper, hand soap and such. They also put in feminine products in the Girls' facility.
The elderly teacher put the remaining items that were meant for Gwen away in one of the drawers, taking out a piece of chalk from it as well and looked to his students as he went to the chalkboard. He inquired, "So, any questions before we begin?".
Makoto raised her hand and asked, "Roshi-sensei, are these books the latest editions?".
The Turtle Hermit answered, "Yes indeed, they are. Yume-chan was kind enough last night to get us the latest editions of books that are out today from the university she works at. The ones made by the Red Ribbon Army are good, but I felt it was more needed to have material not made by them. Especially ones that did not have Commander Red's face on them.".
Violet raised her hand and asked, "Master Roshi, we did find some info on this world in the books and other stuff we found at the base. So why even learn it now?".
Master Roshi looked to his student and answered, "Because Violet-chan, if there is one thing I learned in life, it is this. It's one thing to read about something on your own, another to learn it from someone who has experience in the subject. I have lived over 300 years and have seen many things, so while you may have read some parts of the world from the books at the base, I can teach you something about the world in a way that you couldn't learn from them or on your own.".
He looked to her, the sunglasses tint flashing white for a moment as the sun's light reflected off of them. He finished up, "Just like you are learning from me in the ways of martial arts & how to be real martial artists, you will learn from me some parts of the world that I believe are not in that book. And knowledge can be useful and powerful if taught & shown properly.".
The group soon realized what Master Roshi was talking about. While they did learn some information about the planet they were on from the books inside the building and base, and also taught some stuff by Bulma and the others, they truly did not know the planet they were on. Such as how it was possible for dinosaurs to still exist with humans, how it was possible for anthros to co-exist with humans, the various landscapes and people that inhabited them.
They had seen from the books at the compound on how the geography of the world was, and it was VASTLY different from the land masses on their Earth! And so much more!
Danny and some of the ladies had this in their heads, 'It's like the difference between being home-schooled and taught at a school. Each have their own pros and cons, but one thing is for certain is that a teacher who has had experience can teach something more than just reading from a book.'.
Seeing that his pupils were starting to understand, he tapped the chalkboard with the chalk in hand and stated, "Okay now, let's get underway! Open your World History books to page 12…".
And thus the mind teaching of Master Roshi begun!
~At the Red Ribbon Main Base~
While the original Danny and the others were now exercising their minds with Master Roshi, the duplicates of Danny were doing what they could with the ones that were still at the compound base.
Danny Number One was with Debbie, Felicia, Bulma, Daria and Jenny Wakeman in the special room that contained Jewel Sapphire. He was given the task to be their aide in taking down notes on what was going to be done to Miss Sapphire as they worked on her.
He was wearing a white lab coat with a black shirt underneath, white long pants and black sneakers. In his left hand was a large dark-blue notebook, in his left hand a pen with black ink. The ladies minus Jenny were also wearing lab clothes over their clothing, Bulma and Debbie putting their hairs up in voluminous ponytail style as to not let anything fall down that could interfere with the diagnostics.
Miss Wakeman was using her x-ray vision to see the insides of the deceased young woman who was lying still in the cyro-capsule, the top now open for them to work on her. Felicia looked to the advanced robot woman and inquired, "So how is she?".
After a few moments, Jenny deactivated her sight and blinked as her optics returned to normal. She looked to the professional thief and answered, "From what I can tell, we need to do surgery within her left arm, her legs and also her heart area. Strands of wire are mixed in with some of the nerves, so they need to be untangled and reset back in place. As for the heart area… on it is the Infinite Energy Device, and it is quite complicated even with the notes we have. That is the real thing we need to work on, but that will have to come later.".
Daria asked, "Can you show us what this device looks like on her? While we have pictures of it from the notes, I think it's better to see how he made it.".
The others agreed with her, as seeing something with their own eyes in the flesh and blood was different than seeing something drawn on paper. Jenny closed her eyes, then opened them again as they were now completely white. They projected light from them, and soon showed the device that was in Jewel Sapphire. The ladies and Danny #1 saw a 3D spinning image of a device that looked to be slightly smaller than a closed fist, shaped like a Frisbee with six slots set in a spiral like a seashell with a slot large than the others right in the center. On the upper-right corner of the device were two light fixtures.
Jenny reported, "This is the Infinite Energy Device, a truly marvel of science and technology by this Dr. Gero character. It actually takes any form of matter and turns it into energy that can be usable in a number of ways. But that's not to say that Jewel can just live off of it, as she is still a human that needs to eat and drink to survive.".
This info made Danny #1, Felicia and Bulma breathe out small sighs of relief. It was one thing to have infinite energy, another if it gave someone eternal life in a certain way like so.
Jenny soon turned off the hologram projection, her eyes returning back to normal. She looked to Bulma and stated, "I believe we have about five hours to work on her safely before putting her back in stasis. If we work beyond that, her body would start the decomposing process.".
Bulma clapped her hands together and remarked with full determination, "Then let's not waste any more time! Let's get to work!".
So with medical surgical & electronic tools in hand, they started the process of surgery on Jewel Sapphire! Felicia, Bulma and Jenny would handle the electrical/mechanical parts while Daria & Debbie would guide them concerning the physical physiology & biology respectively.
Danny #1 started to jot down notes for them, writing down any orders or suggestions from either of the female experts. And he would give them the necessary tools so they could fix the internal structure of Miss Sapphire. The duplicate had to hold his lunch in from seeing the android cut open like so, but there was little to no blood as it had coagulated. It was in a solid state after being killed, then frozen in the capsule.
Once everything was in order concerning Jewel Sapphire's internal systems, they would start the process of transferring some new blood into her. According to the info concerning her, her blood type was O-negative. Danny's blood was AB, but there was still so much to learn about his blood, like if he could ever receive a transfusion due to the ectoplasm that was mixed within his blood & DNA. He would get official news from Baba in time, and then he would know.
Fortunately for all of them, some of the ladies had O-negative blood. It was Kim Possible, Katie Kaboom, Jen Masterson, Alexandra Casoy & Penny Proud. When the time came, each would transfuse the blood into Jewel's body safely. If just one of them did it, they would be in danger from a moderate loss of blood.
This duplicate was learning the delicate procedures & workings of both machine and human, of metal & plastic with nerves & organs. It was really going to be something for the original to absorb when the time came for the duplicate to disperse.
While this was going on, Danny Number Two was aiding Gwen Honorine & Angelica Pickles in the Multi-Plex Building. They were on the 1st floor- the Arts Studio Room. The place was now brand new, the old stuff being tossed out & new light fixtures & art supplies were set up to make it look like a professional studio. It would soon be renamed Gwen's Art Area, as most likely utilized by the talented drawer herself.
Angelica and Danny #2 were looking at a painting that Gwen H. was working on. It was a painting of Shen Long's head, the goth artist taking careful strokes with her paintbrush as she worked on the cranium of the Eternal Dragon. Angelica commented, "I know it's just a start, but from where I can see, you're doing a great job there.".
Danny #2 put forth, "I agree with you on that. And you got all of this just from the information from Yamcha?".
Gwen was putting on the long whiskers of Shen Long, answering as she kept her concentration, "Yup. I was able to coax out of him a bit more details concerning Shen Long, like his coloring in certain areas, how long he was, etc. For now, I'm doing the head part.".
Miss Pickles inquired in a curious tone, "Why only the head?".
The gothic beauty answered her, "After a sketch I made some time ago, I was thinking of changing the insignia of the Red Ribbon Army. I mean, if you think about it, we are going to be using the stuff from those guys when we leave this place. And from what we have been told, a lot of people were scared of them. So what do you think will happen if they see the insignia on anything we have?".
The duo started to think on her words, soon realizing that she had a point. Once Master Roshi was done training the others, they would leave the RR base to explore the world. And most likely take with them some equipment or items that came from the paramilitary organization. And if anyone saw the insignia, it would most likely result in either panic/chaos… or some people trying to retaliate for what the army did to their land & people.
And it would not be pretty.
Gwen H. continued to paint, but she saw that the Danny duplicate & Angelica were seeing the wisdom in her words which let her have a small smile come on her face. Miss Honorine was often ignored back home when she tried to give advice, so it was a refreshing change of pace for others to actually consider her words like so.
Once she finished with Shen Long's head, she started to draw an orb in his mouth with black paint. Danny #2 looked at the drawing and asked, "What is that orb? What does it stand for?".
Miss Honorine answered him while painting the orb, "This is a Dragonball, those spheres that summon Shen Long to make a wish. But instead of it being orange with red stars in it like the real deal, I'm going to put a little spin on it. I'm going to put your DP logo on it instead.".
Now that did surprise the two if only mildly. Angelica asked, "Why do something like that?".
Gwen H. blew on the paint gently so that the substance could dry a little quicker. She replied, "Call it artistic creative licensing. Since Danny here is a unique being and hero, and that we need the Dragonballs to get back home, why not combine the two like so? Besides, this way people would think of this instead of the real Dragonballs. I mean, if someone finds it when they appear back in the world again, they would try to make a connection with us. And that can bring up some problems.".
Again Danny #2 and Angelica realized that Gwen H. was right. If she used the design of a real Dragonball in the picture, someone would figure out a connection they found the sphere for real. And that would really cause some unnecessary problems. While a majority of people were quick to dismiss stuff, some were sharp and would make rational decisions before doing some investigations.
And if people learned either of the existence of magical wish-granting spheres, or of people from a completely different universe/reality… oh yeah, it would cause problems!
As Gwen H. worked, Angelica looked to the duplicate. She was now entering Thinking-mode, her face eyeing critically while her right hand came to rest under her chin. When Danny #2 saw her look of concentration and focus, he had a perplexed look on his face and asked, "Ummm… are you thinking about something Angelica?".
Miss Pickles was silent for a few moments as she observed Danny before answering, "I believe so Danny. Can you change into your Phantom self please?".
The duplicate was again confused, but he did as Angelica asked. But instead of being in his old hazmat suit, he was now in the Turtle School uniform made by the fashionista and the others. At seeing the perplexed looks from Gwen H. and Angelica, Danny #2 explained to them, "Hmmm? Oh! You were expecting the other suit right? Well, my original self decided to make a change and was able to remove the hazmat suit from himself. It's in his hamper in his room, and I think it might be overdue for a washing. The boots too. Heh. In any case, now he and the rest of us duplicates can change into this new outfit.".
Gwen and Angelica looked him over a little, nodding in appreciation & satisfied that their work indeed looked good on the halfa hero. The blonde fashionista then stated with some pep in her tone, "Well then, have to work with what I've got! Danny, can you please go to that large cube over there and do a pose for me? Any pose will do!".
The young man was still confused on why Angelica wanted, but dutifully did what she asked as he went to a large cube that was nearby. It was one of those props that was used for modeling in art, or in some cases photography. Danny #2 then got into the Thinker position, but in a way that modern male models do in certain magazines that Angelica loved to read.
Said young lady smiled a little and said, "Classic look, good to start off with.". She then went to one of the shelves that was near the wall, plucking out a light-purple colored 9 x 12 spiral sketchbook plus a case that had 36 different colored pencils in it. If one from their universe would see them, they would equate the pencils from the ones made by Artist's Loft.
Angelica sat down in a chair that was a few feet away from Gwen on her right position, gazed at the halfa hero for a few moments, then started to draw with a black colored pencil on the sketch paper. Danny #2 inquired, "So Angelica, why am I doing a pose? I mean, I could have done it in the clothes I wore.".
The fashionista of the Pickles family looked to him briefly with a small smirk and an amusing gaze in her eyes before going back to her sketching, "If you must know, I am going to start a little project myself. And involves you and your black & white ensemble to make a new wardrobe line.".
She explained, "My dream is to have my own fashion line, to make clothes from my own hands & have them be worn by people all over the world! I'm still a beginner, but I got the drive and conviction to make it a reality! And your hero uniform, and the current clothes you got on now, are my inspirations for starting that dream! I may ask the others like Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and Krillin to model for me as well. Their outfits can also help to inspire me.".
Now this had both Gwen H. & Danny #2 to look at Angelica with more respect, seeing that she was much more than just a 'stereotypical' teenage girl. She had a dream, she had the drive and she had the skills to make it a reality! With some time, training and lessons of course. So this had the duplicate not mind being a fashion model for the time being.
Gwen H. continued her own work, but she did admit that Danny looked different in a good way in his new look. Something then popped into her head, and she asked Danny #2, "By the way, why did your original self want to change his outfits?".
The copy of Danny Fenton looked to her and answered in an honest tone, "I believe he wanted to show that he was really dedicated to changing himself. Both outside and within. He wanted to prove himself as Fenton first, then as Phantom later on when his training was done.".
Again, this gave the ladies more respect to the young hero from Amity Park, and also their admiration for him increased slightly. Many boys they knew said they would change to better themselves, but sadly the promise did not last long or they did something outrageous in a silly way that they considered the definition of change when in reality it just have them make fools of themselves.
But seeing Danny's duplicate in the clothes they made & hearing that he wanted to really try to change made them see that the Fenton lad was serious about improving himself.
Angelica started to draw, her hands drawing the uniform while her eyes switched from the pad to the model. In her head, she envisioned a line of shirts, pants, accessories and more that would be in the colors of black, white and green. Her hands automatically followed her imagination, the fashionista within her coming to the surface.
~Outside~
While Danny Number One and Number Two were occupied with indoor activity, Danny Number Three was outside with Jen Masterson & Ginger Foutley. The trio were cleaning Nebula and Turtle; the Interdimensional hatchling squeaking in delight as the ladies washed her body with soaped cloths, while the duplicate tended to the best friend of Roshi by scraping some sea barnacles off his shell.
Normally most barnacles were harmless to sea turtles, but there were some that were of the burrowing kind that could do damage to the skin & shell of the creatures. And if having open wounds untreated, it could let in infection that could be a real problem. Thankfully, Turtle only had small barnacles that were not of the parasitic or damaging kind. Fresh water from the water hose was able to force the things to loosen their grip, and careful scraping from a metal spatula was the thing to get the pesky objects off.
Danny #3 wiped his forehead and stated, "Whew! All done with the top! Turtle, do you need the bottom done?".
The large brown sea turtle looked to Danny, shook his head and answered, "I don't think so. I can't feel anything below my shell, so I think I'm good there.".
The duplicate nodded his head, using the water hose now to wash the remaining soap off of Turtle. He picked up the barnacles, asking Turtle if they were edible. He answered that they were, that Master Roshi would cook and eat any barnacles that he scraped off of him in the past as they were a delicacy to some humans. Danny #3 nodded his head and put the objects in a small pile so he could deliver it to Launch later on.
Jen called out in a tone that was full of mirth, "Hey Danny! We've just finished cleaning Nebula! Hose her down please!".
He and the Turtle looked to their right to see that Nebula was chirping in delight as apparently she was ticklish in some areas, moving about happily like a baby would in a bath. Jen and Ginger were giggling/laughing as the young one splashed them with some of the suds that were on her. The young man smiled at the scene, picking up the water hose and going to them. He called for them to step back from her, which they did and just in time as Danny #3 sprayed his adopted daughter with water.
Turtle looked at the scene with a small smile on as he thought, 'If it was Master Roshi with the hose, he would have sprayed the girls. Well, Jen at least since Ginger is a bit younger. But Danny here told them to get back, knowing what the water would do. Heh, he does have a good head on his shoulders.'.
Danny #3 made sure to get every inch and space on the chirping dragon hatchling, and when it was done he asked Ginger to turn off the hose. She did so, going back to Jen as she started to drying Nebula. The two young ladies were drying her off with large fluffy towels, then heard Danny #3 speak up, "Thanks for helping me in getting Nebula cleaned up girls! I really appreciate it.".
Jen turned her head towards him and replied, "Oh, it's no problem Danny!".
She was about to say something else, Ginger included when they saw the young man taking off his shirt. This caused them to blush lightly as they saw his exposed torso. While they may have seen him like so at the indoor pool, it was still something that got their attention. He was not overly muscled or ripped like some men they have seen, either in real life/in magazines/in TV and movies, but he certainly was not lanky either.
He was toned in a way that showed he did work out, which was due to his profession in fighting the supernatural. There were some scars on his body, faded over time yes, but still there. But it actually appealed to the fair opposite sex, as it showed his toughness on what he had to go through.
The duplicate was not aware of their looks, picking up the barnacles from the ground and using his shirt like a sack to hold them. Once he was done, he picked the water hose up and started to walk to the building. He looked to the two ladies and Nebula, who chirped in joy at her father for taking care of her. He smiled at the little one, then looked to Ginger and Jen.
He told them, "I'm going to put the hose up and take these barnacles to Launch to see if she can make a meal out of them. I'm going to go change and come back down, okay?".
The duo just nodded their heads, the light blush still apparent on their faces. Danny #3 smile was still on as he put the hose away properly before going back into the manor.
Once he was gone, the two ladies snapped out of their little trances, shaking their heads rapidly as their blushes became a little more apparent. Ginger wrung the wet towel she was holding, unconsciously squeezing the moisture out of it. She exclaimed in a tone that was of embarrassment, "Oh man! What was that?!".
Jen was doing the same thing as her friend was doing and replied in a similar tone, "Thank God that he didn't notice us like that! Oh geeze, that would have been embarrassing!".
Nebula looked at the two females in puzzlement, confused on why they were now acting like that. Turtle crawled to them and said, "At least he didn't take advantage of the situation.".
The two humans looked to the friend of Master Roshi in puzzlement, the sea turtle continuing, "You girls are a bit wet from scrubbing Nebula. He could have sprayed you with the hose to clean you off, but he didn't. Think on that for a moment.".
Jen and Ginger did look down at their bodies, and indeed their shirts were mildly wet due to washing the hatchling. Their minds soon brought up an alternate scenario where instead of just spraying Nebula, Danny #3 would have sprayed them with the hose. Their tops would get wet, and most likely clinging to their bodies in a way that most men would be salivating at the mouth to see.
Their minds soon came back to reality as they realized that Danny #3 COULD have taken advantage of the situation like they knew some boys would back in their universe, but he didn't. This made them appreciate his actions more.
Turtle suggested, "I think you both need to change into drier clothes so that when he comes back, it doesn't get awkward.".
The ladies agree with him, Ginger asking Turtle to watch over Nebula while they go inside to dry off and change. He said he would do so, the young women soon rushing back in to change.
A little while later, Danny #3 and the girls plus Nebula were now walking on the golf course that had been restored. The three had fresh dry clothes one, and now were just enjoying the peace and quiet as they walked on the cut lawn of the course. The said area was repaired since it would give the ladies an opportunity to try out golf as a sport, at least the ones that were to stay in the RR compound while Master Roshi left with his pupils to train.
Danny #3 soaked in the peace and quiet for some moments, then turned to Ginger & Jen who were on his left, Nebula on his right side. He asked the two young women, "So Jen, Ginger. What do you think you'll be doing while the others are busy with Master Roshi, Yume and Inukami?".
It was Jen that answered first, "I think I'll take a look at some of the equipment that was used by the Red Ribbon Army, like their motorcycles and hovering crafts. I like to see how they work, and if I can drive them.".
Ginger looked to her and inquired, "Do you have a license to drive?".
She grinned with confidence and answered in a tone that mirrored her current feeling, "Of course! I managed to get my license some time ago, and I can drive anything!".
Miss Masterson had been timid at first in getting her license, but her friend Jude managed to help her out… though it was unorthodox to say the least. He helped her by letting her get driving skills at the Arcade, playing a virtual racing machine. It seemed to work at first… but then when Jen got behind the wheel in a real car, she had an accident that had the car go into the fountain at the mall she worked at. Luckily, no one was injured.
So she started again from scratch, and this time was able to complete her lesson and gain her license.
Danny #3 smiled at her and replied, "Well, with confidence like that, I believe in you too Jen! I bet you can drive them, even if some of them don't have wheels.".
The young woman blushed a bit from his words, smiling back and replying, "Thanks Danny. I'll learn, especially with the ones that are hovering! And the runways at the back of the compound are perfect for me to learn.".
One of Jen's strengths was being driven and focused, especially on a goal when she put her mind to it. Now, she was determined to learn how to drive the vehicles that were once used by the RR Army. She knew that the hovering ones would take some time, as it would be her first to drive anything that was unconventional & high-tech like that. But she was determined!
And she was right about the runways, given the size and length of them since the RR main base was HUGE in many aspects. It would be the ideal place to learn how to drive.
Jen thought, 'The cars and hovering ones yes. The planes and also the Power Suits like the one Vicky used… maybe later.'.
Danny #3 then looked to Ginger, asking her on what she would be doing. She looked to be in thought on her answer, then remarked, "I honestly don't know. I mean, there is some places I like to explore around here. Maybe even check what's around in the forests and such.".
The duplicate then said with some concern in his tone, "If you do, make sure you have someone around to watch your back. This place has some serious wildlife around here.".
An aristocratic tone spoke from above them, "Danny has a point there young lady.".
The humans and dragon hatchling looked up to see that hovering above them was Spectra, the ghostly student & reporter from Monster High smiling down at them before floating to their level. The duplicate had sensed her, but she was a non-threat so his blue mist did not appear.
Spectra floated in front of them, looking to Ginger and continuing with her words, "This place is filled with all sorts of things that we still have not yet explored. I know my ghoul-friends and others from my high school would love to explore, but I think for you, you would need some extra protection.".
Ginger asked in curiosity, "How do you figure that Miss Vondergeist?".
Said young ghostly woman gave her a look with a raised eyebrow that would remind anyone back from their Earth of the WWE wrestler Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson. She answered her, "Little one, we are in a place that had dinosaurs, anthros, dragons, talking animals and people who can do stuff like changing personalities completely & shooting energy beams from their hands. Combine that with the fact we got heroes, magical girls and aliens with us, I think for anyone normal like you and Jen would need some special protection from stuff like that.".
Miss Foutley saw that she did have a point. Her world had been turned upside down & stirred in a blender like cake batter. She was just a normal middle school girl with no real superhero powers of capabilities, and now she was embroiled in some person's plan to improve herself by taking her to a completely different universe with people that were very much out of the ordinary! Throw in the strange things like unusual dinosaurs, dragons, talking animals, anthro beings, witches on a floating crystal ball whose assistant was a ghost, magical teachers, powerful martial artists including one that was 300-plus years old… well, yeah she did concede that she would need protection from the negative/dark aspects of what she had just thought of.
Danny #3 put in, "Well, you can give Jen and Ginger credit for keeping it together. It shows that they have strong minds.".
When the three ladies looked at him quizzically, he stated, "Well, think about it? After everything they have been exposed to so far, they are keeping a level head about it. Anyone else would most likely go crazy and be withdrawn.".
Jen, Ginger and Spectra thought upon his words, and soon saw that the duplicate did have a point. They concluded that minds that were not as strong/together as Jen and Ginger's would be going crazy from what they have just witnessed so far, and they had just seen only a very tiny fraction of the planet they were on! Most normal beings would have had either a psychotic episode, or holed up somewhere trying to convince themselves that all of this was just some crazy dream.
Miss Foutley looked to the half-spirit lad and inquired, "You think have a strong mind?".
He smiled at her and answered, "Of course you do! And I believe that you have something special in you, otherwise this DJ person would have sent you here. And seeing you and Jen keeping it together after all that we have seen shows that your mind is quite strong, and I believe you two can do anything if you put your mind to it.".
This made the two ladies blush a little, as the words coming from the young man made them feel both special and better. Indeed, they were completely out of their element in many ways, but they have handled themselves fine so far. And now would be the time to see what they can do! Spectra smiled as well, hearing the sincere words from the halfa hero.
Spectra had a special kind of intuition, both when she was alive & when she passed on and became a reporter. She could tell on when someone was being sincere, and when someone was being dishonest. While not exactly perfect or pinpoint, her ability to see who was lying or being truthful was still quite strong. And she could tell that the duplicate was being truthful. It was not mere flattery or anything negative like that, but that he genuinely believed in Jen and Ginger.
Nebula chirped and licked Danny's cheek, making him laugh as he gently petted her. The ladies giggled at the cute/innocent scene before they all continued to walk and talk.
What they did not know was that nearby, a little fairy was watching them! It was the same fairy that Makoto, Penny, April and Katie had come across some days ago, when they had gone to the Northern area of the compound to look for the stone that had the Turtle kanji insignia on it.
The small fairy had gone over to explore the eastern section of the land, a place that was normally forbidden in the past due to the presence of the humans which was the Red Ribbon Army officers. But since they had left, they had decided to lift the ban in order to explore the area once more.
The winged woman had been exploring when she felt something that made her senses go off, feeling a supernatural energy that was quite strong. So she flew down and hid in the tall grass that was near the cut area. She saw the humans enter in the place, though she did not sense any hostility from them. Her eyes widened at seeing a dragon hatchling, and an Interdimensional one at that since even their kind knew of them though it was very rare to see one, let alone a hatchling!
But what caught her interest was the male one, the young man looking human… but had a strong supernatural presence that tickled at her senses. Her particular race were sensitive to natural and supernatural energies, and what she was feeling from the male was unusual to say the least. He did not have the feeling of death, but yet she could feel spirit energy that was vibrant. And upon seeing Spectra, she was amazed to see a ghost around but not giving off any malevolent vibrations to her senses.
The fairy decided to follow them, but from a safe enough distance.
~In the RR compound~
While the other Danny duplicates were busy, there was also some activity going on with the others. Vicky Aidith was leaning against one of the airport hangers, a scowl on her face but it looked to be more of confusion than of anger. She looked to the sky, seeing the blue sky and few white clouds that were floating up there. She made a little 'tch' sound and said to herself in confusion and anger, "What is wrong with me?! I mean, I feel that something is off but I can't put my finger on it!".
Indeed, for the past couple of days, Miss Aidith had been feeling that something was off. She was starting to feel less angry, irritable and sadistic. Not by much mind you, but enough to feel that she felt different inward. It was very foreign and strange to her, that she was feeling some akin to… peace.
Usually, the only way she felt an emotion close to it was when she was tormenting the kids she 'babysat' or her kid sister Tootie. Or when it was gaining money by any means necessary, or doing random acts of violence.
But now, she had not done that in a while due to several factors. A major one was that she was now dealing with people that had two things that most in her hometown of Dimmsdale lacked; common sense and strength/power. She could not bully or intimidate anyone, least she be on the receiving end of energy blasts or any other strange powers that came from Danny, Master Roshi, Kara or any of the other martial artists.
And also that since keeping her tongue and actions in check, it caused an ebb in the usual flow of things within her. She could not identify it, and it started to drive her a bit crazy. So now, she was leaning against the left hanger, just keeping to herself while she tried to figure out why she felt like this.
She was about to leave when she heard some noises to her right side. Vicky walked a bit and peeked around the edge of the hanger to see Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Krillin training. Tien and Krillin were sparring with one another, Yamcha and Chiaotzu doing the same thing. The martial artists were yelling as they threw punches and kicks at incredible speed, dodging the attacks from the other with amazing reflexes!
Vicky looked on in a bit of entrancement, seeing moves being done that she swore could only happen in certain anime shows that she used to watch back home. She thought to herself, 'It's amazing on how fast they can go! I mean, it's not that bad…'.
The young redheaded woman saw Tien throwing swift strikes at Krillin, who defended himself by throwing his arms in front of him in an X-formation. The three-eyed martial artist was utilizing his Machine Gun Fist technique, which in actuality he was using his fingers instead of his fists. He had showcased this technique in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. He was using pinpoint accuracy strikes that were piercing and deadly, just like that of a crane's beak.
Krillin grunted as he endured the relentless assault, feeling the strong stings that was put upon his arms and hands as he defended himself. He thought, 'This is insane! Goku really endured this kind of attack back at the tournament without blocking?! Talk about endurance!'.
When Tien stopped his attack even for a fraction of a second, that is when Krillin decided to go on the offensive!
The bald-headed monk fighter yelled as he charged at his opponent unleashing several kicks to Tien in which he blocked them all with his right arm. Krillin noticed the position of the sun, then smirked as an idea formed in his head. He did a back flip and gestured for Tien to come at him, in which the three-eyed warrior accepted and rushed in with blazing speed!
But that is exactly what Krillin wanted as he angled his head just right… and a flash of light struck Tien, making him halt his movement and close his eyes from the sudden light show! It was the same move that Krillin used on Goku in the same tournament, in which in the semi-finals he used his head to briefly blind his best friend in order to gain the advantage.
Seeing that it worked here against Tien, he charged in! But the former student of Master Shen was ready, sensing Krillin's upcoming attack and blocking a right fist strike with his leg by quickly raising it to block it!
While the duo were busy with one another, Chiaotzu was using his Flight technique to be at level with Yamcha as they sparred. The small but potent fighter was throwing punches and kicks at the taller foe, who blocked each of his strikes before countering with his own. Yamcha was indeed fully healed and back in the martial arts business! He was swift in his strikes, be it punches or kicks, and Chiaotzu was doing his best to evade the attacks. His small size did give him an advantage in the area, but he still had to put in the effort to dodge.
Chiatozu got an idea, raising his right finger up and letting loose a psychic shockwave. Invisible blue rings of psychic energy escaped from his finger, spreading out like how ripples on a pond do when an object is thrown into it. The moment the rings touched Yamcha, his body suddenly froze up, causing him to be a statue momentarily while a look of surprise was on his face. It only lasted a moment as Chiatozu released the hold, but came in quick to deliver a flying head-butt to Yamcha's chest!
The student of Master Roshi let out a yelp of pain, skidding backwards a few feet before regaining his bearings. He held his chest area, as the flying head-butt did do some mild damage. The young man then smirked and said, "Ah, so you're going there aren't you little guy? Well then… have a taste of my Wolf Fang Fist!".
Yamcha got into his stance/pose when he was about to unleash his attack… then yelled out loud, which sounded like a wolf's howl before he charged with incredible speed at the psychic martial artist! Even Chiaotzu was stunned as his opponent quickly closed the gap in only a few seconds! He used his agility and small size to evade the unique strikes of Yamcha, who in flashes looked like a wolf attacking his prey! Chiaotzu managed to evade most of them, but a clawed hand struck him hard in the center of his being, causing him to let out a yell of pain before flying away! He managed to right himself and float just above the ground before he could strike it, looking at Yamcha who now had a smirk on his face.
The psychic user stated, "Now that was a good strike Yamcha! It seems you are all better!".
The confident Wolf-user replied in a tone that matched his mood, "Thanks little buddy! And I can see you're quick on the draw when it comes to your psychic powers! That does come in handy!".
The sparring would have continued for all four of them… had it not been for a certain cackling laugh that caused them all to cease their actions. The martial artist looked in the direction where the cackle had come from, Vicky doing the same as she had a look of pain on her face. Even from the long distance, the cackling was enough to make her wince.
Coming towards them was Phantasma and Kara, the blonde superheroine had a momentary look of pain in her face before it changed into a smile. It seems that her sensitive hearing was still ringing from being close to Phanty's cackling laughing, which in her opinion should be registered as a lethal sonic-based weapon.
The student of Miss Grimmwood called out, "Hahahahaha! That was so amazing! You guys looked so cool going all fast and such!".
Krillin grinned and replied, "Thank you! We do our best when we're sparring!".
Kara put in, "I can tell. I have seen some incredible sparring from certain others back home, but that was pretty cool!".
She was not joking; she had seen her cousin Clark and Diana sparring in their hero personas, and those two threw punches and kicks that could level mountains! She saw that while Clark had the strength and endurance, Diana matched it with her own plus training that came from fighting her Amazon sisters. And she had seen Batman sparring in simulations at the Watchtower, which was pretty impressive in of itself.
Yamcha smiled and remarked, "Thanks Kara! I bet you sparred with your cousin Superman given that you both are alike in powers and such.".
The young woman frowned on that, wishing it was true. While Clark did give her tips and pointers, he always treated her with kid gloves. Diana did try to spar with her, but Clark would always be hesitant on that.
Seeing her frown, Tien spoke up, "I take it from your frown that you never had anyone spar with you seriously?".
Kara looked to him and answered in a light frustrated tone, "Yeah… I mean, I know I am strong and such thanks to the sun, but it would be something to be taken seriously instead with kiddy gloves!".
The three-eyed martial artist thought on it for a moment, then looked to the Argonian young lady and asked, "In that case… how about you spar with us?".
This had everyone, including Vicky who was still able to hear everything while remaining hidden, had their eyes widen in surprise at the request Tien Shinhan had just made!
While this was going on, a magical teacher was taking her students to the Grand Greenhouse, the tall white domed building that was next to one of the smaller pink-domed ones. Yume had her time with her pupils to learn of their magical capabilities:
With Sabrina, she found out that she could perform some wandless magic but it was weak and subpar. She admitted that it was due to her blood heritage, as being half-mortal/half-magical, and that she had to use a wand to use spells. However, Yume told her that she believed that she had more power in her then she realized, but it would need some coaxing out. She promised her firmly and with conviction that she would do all she could to bring out her latent abilities, one that would be able to do wandless magic & to show that having a mixed bloodline was a good thing.
With Gwen Tennyson, Yume saw that her magic relied on mana which was the life-energy of all thing. While this did impress her, as well as some spells she learned herself, Yume felt that utilizing life energy like so did have its limits. And also that the mana was raw magical energy, not refined and focused like what she and several others were capable of. She would work with Gwen in refining her abilities, and also in being creative with her magical spells & constructs.
With Musa, her sound-based magic was quite versatile and useful in various scenarios. However, she told Musa that she should know the difference in certain aspects concerning sound, such as the difference between a soundwave and electromagnetic wave. That a sound wave needed a medium of sort, like air or water, to travel through. Electromagnetic waves however can travel through a vacuum and do not require a medium of travel. By knowing the difference, she could come to understand both the full potential & limitations of her sound-based capabilities and magic.
For Cleo, her magical abilities were all in her Mermaid-form. However, Yume stated that she had an idea on how she can be a mermaid but also be mobile on the land. But first they would need to test her theory, which would be done at a later time.
For Diana, her magical abilities were inactive. Oh, it was there within her but needed a magical spark to ignite it. Yume-sensei would provide one for her, but she did tell her student that she could feel the strong, raw healing power within her. But she would teach her many other styles of healing that did not require magic, such as advanced First Aid and medicines like herbal remedies. Yume told her that when it came to healing, she should explore as many avenues as possible as it was considered a sacred art.
Once it was done, they started to take a look around their new school building. Yume took down notes on what was to be done, such as buying certain items for the various floors. Once that was done, she told her pupils to follow her to the next place which was the newly dubbed Grand Greenhouse. Tenshi-sensei had already decided what the floor levels would have & named.
The Ground-floor would be called the Natural Relaxation Floor; it would be have three different areas in certain sections, where each section would be changed to mimic certain environments that would promote a tranquil & calming place where one would be at peace with nature. The entrance to the building would showcase a forest that would be something out of a classic European fairy tale. The right side of it would have a Japanese setting with an environment setting that was classic and focused on peace of mind and soul. The left side would be like that of a beach, with sounds of the ocean and of sea birds along with the landscape.
The 1st-floor would be called the Desert-Tropical Tour; one half of the room would be a place to raise plants that throve in a desert environment, the other half would be a place where to raise tropical flora. The half that would house the desert plants would be in an environment that exactly replicated what they would need to thrive. Same for the other half which would have a humid and moist environment in which to grow.
The 2nd-floor would be called the Temperate Tranquility; it would be a place where plants that thrived in moderate, temperature climates that was not too hot nor too cold.
The final 3rd-floor would be the Mysterious Magicals; it would be a place where plants of the supernatural & magical kind would be planted in, each with their own unique environments and care. But Yume would only plant in there magical flora that would pose little to no danger to her students or the others.
It was about 10:15 a.m. now once they entered the deserted establishment, Yume stopped in front of the room they were in and looked around, setting her special bag down. She said to herself, "Going to require a lot of work to fix this place up to what it needs to be, but it will be worth it.".
Gwen Ten inquired, "Excuse me Tenshi-sensei, but why did you bring us here?".
Yume turned around to face her students with a smile and answered, "Well, I believe that this place, this spot actually, will be both our starting point & exit point.".
This had the ladies show perplexed/confused faces, and it was Cleo that asked, "Starting and exit point? What do you mean by that?".
The magical teacher reached into her pocket and pulled out a citrine gemstone that was in the shape of a door that was about the size of a mouse. She showed them said object, then turned around and tossed the object into the air… where it quickly grew and expanded until it was a large double-door that looked to be made entirely out of the gemstone! It was elegantly crafted by someone with exceptional skill & care, in a class all its own!
This certainly did surprise the ladies and it showed on their faces. Yume turned her head to look at them and stated, "We'll be going to Sector C-3, a place that is near Pleasant Mountain called Hope Village. From there, we'll go to a place called Kell Bell's Greenhouse where we can get the seeds needed for our own greenhouse. After that, I'll take you to the magical community where we can get the magical seeds.".
Diana then asked, "What about this place? Shouldn't we fix it up first?".
Yume answered her, "I have not forgotten that part, Lombard-san. Once we acquire what we need for the greenhouse, we'll go to West City to hire some architect and construction & electrical engineers to get to work on the place.".
She told them that while she was exceptional in many areas, engineering & construction with buildings was not one of them. She preferred to leave it to the experts. She also told them that the workers would be coming to them the normal way via plane or car, as perhaps magical travel would be a bit much for them.
Gwen Ten suggested, "How about we invite some of our friends over to help with us? I believe they can aid us in this.".
The cousin of Ben Tennyson informed Yume of Vicky Eileen, Tyler Jeptha, Satoshi Takehiko & Gaspar Teófilo. They were the ones that had aided them when they found the secret treasure stash of Commander Red, and also that their expertise could come in handy. For example, Gaspar's excellent sense of artistic taste could help in making the Ground-floor more effective in realism. And that Vicky & the others could help them find exceptional workers for a great price, ones that were honest and put all their effort in their crafts/work.
Yume thought on this, then nodded her head at Gwen Ten's suggestion. She then asked, "Is everyone ready? I advise that all of us stick close together so that we do not get lost.".
Getting nods of agreement, the magical teacher went to the door and knocked on it three times. She then spoke in a clear and strong voice, "Take us to the outskirts of Hope Village!".
The citrine gemstone door vibrated and made a pinging sound which was a delight to the ears of Yume and her pupils, almost like a child's squeal of delight. After a moment, the door opened and a bright light shone from within it! A magical gateway had just been activated!
Tenshi-sensei picked up her bag, looked to her students with a smile and stated, "Okay everyone, follow me please!".
She stepped through the doorway, vanishing into the light. Gwen Ten was the first to follow her, next was Sabrina, Musa, Cleo & Diana being the last. Once they were all through, the door closed and vanished like mist on a hot day. However, a door insignia appeared on the bottom step in a golden glow of magical energy. That was a Waypoint Sign, which would be the point where the door would appear should Yume utilize it again to come back to the base. When it would come back, said sign would vanish.
The first magical field trip for the students had just started!
It has been an exceptional first day for everyone from the other universe as they start to get to work on their own projects. And it seems that Yume is taking her pupils on their first magical field trip in the Dragon Ball world! What else will be in store for them, and also the others back at the base? Stay tuned!
On the next exciting episode of Danny Fenton: Season of Growth, the original Danny and the students under Master Roshi arrive at the Gallimimus Breeding Ranch/Raising Ranch owned by Masao & Maiko Kunio to help them with their dinosaurs. While they are doing that, back at the base Kara and Tien have a sparring session which has some surprising results! And Yume has her students look around the village they are in, and run into Chichi the Ox-King daughter! Stay tuned to see on what happens next!

(Author's Notes: Whew! This was quite a chapter to do! I really had to wrack my brain concerning this, but thankfully I had a lot of help from the Lord here!
Speaking of which, I want to give Him honor and praise here. Lord, thank you for helping me, not just with my story here but also in my personal life! There have been many ups and downs these past days, but you have been with me and the family all this time. I thank you & praise your name Jesus Christ for being with me, my family, my friends and also to those all over the world that need you very much! I will continue to be a better servant to you Lord, and to always follow you with obedience, faithfulness and hot dedication! Never lukewarm or cold!
I really had to take a lot of notes here, putting them into my notebook & also going back to a lot of chapters to find references & how to continue this story at a continual pace. It's not easy, and I give props/respect to professional storywriters who do this for a living! Shows that I still have much to learn.
I do hope this chapter shows up, as the Fanfiction site has been glitchy for some time. Small, minor glitches that seem to be more or less of an annoyance, as sometimes chapters do not show even when it's updated. So I hope that all of this is resolved soon.
Also, I hope that Author KellBell35 likes this, as I used his or her name here to be the greenhouse store that Yume and the others go to in order to acquire the seeds they need. And also, I used my friend Dreams reference to gems to make the doorway. For traveling to places for shopping, both in the mortal and supernatural realms, her doorway is of citrine. Its meaning is this: Citrine is said to open the mind to new thoughts and balance impatience and restlessness. Citrine is thought to promote optimism. It also attracts abundance and is known as the "merchant's stone"; it is often placed where business is conducted, not only to acquire wealth, but to maintain it. It is also good for mental focus, endurance and self-esteem.
I hope that also Author iamashinydragonmist likes how I put him or her in it as well as the SHINY DRAGON MIST EATERY establishment.
She will showcase other doorways that signify emergency use & also adventurous ones! She can use a plethora of magical means of travel, but for now she will utilize doorways made of gemstones.
In addition, it was a bit difficult to find a world map of the Dragonball realm. I referenced a picture of it from Vol. 5 of the manga series, a physical one that I have, and also use pictures from the Wiki-site to find another to use as a reference. Also, the three kanji insignias that are shown on the English-Japanese Translation books, those are the ones used in the logo for Shueisha, Inc., a major publisher in Japan. Magazines published by Shueisha include Weekly Shōnen Jump, the ones who showcase the manga that features Dragonball! Shueisha, along with Shogakukan and Hakusensha, own Viz Media, which publishes manga from both companies in the United States. I believed it would be good to sneak in a tribute to a major publishing company like so.
Vicky's condition will be revealed in full detail in the next Progress Report, and Ginger… well, she and the fairies will meet in a way that will help her grow and develop!
I really hope and pray you all like this, and will continue to do my best to make this story a worthy one for those who love DB martial arts, magic and growth & development for the characters and story/plot! I will need much help from my friends like Dreams, Reximus, Vanima, Data Seeker, AdventureKing2017 and more to help me build this alternate universe story!
