I am learning to draw, so I can create better and beautiful stories. I hope you all wish to see them when I get them done. Learning to draw is hard though, insanely so...

I think this is really too detached from Canon, I need to meld it back just a bit...

I deleted this a few times, but I am trying to stop doing that.

I do apologize for the long delay.

Weeks passed and Mason found himself at Camp halfblood, eager to see Leo for the First time in person for some time. He was excited to his kiddo, with all his good nature. Walking up the hill, toward the giant pine tree, Mason's increased skills determined the potency of the wards. The silvery energy of the barrier was intensely interesting to his mage eyes.

'I sense sacrifice, honor and loss... whoever died here, they suffered for another.'

"MASON!" His face split as he heard Leo's bellow, the boy barreling into Mason's arms. "I missed you."

"And I you... now, shall we?" Together they walked past the barrier and into the Camp, where Leo started to show him everything.

"And that's the Dinning pavillion, and those are the stables, and that's the Forges." He led Mika that way. "I am already one of the better forgers in the Camp, it's pretty nice. Even Charlie saids I am something special."

Mason laughed. "You are kiddo...you are the most amazing kiddo I have ever seen." Leo blushed, looking as adorable as he could be. Like a willowy elf! 'Actually, the longer I look at you, the more I see that you've been seriously working out and his aura... it's intense.' He smiled. "You've gotten stronger, your auras brighter and you look buffer."

Leo flexed, showing off tiny but real muscles. "I have been working out. Charlie says I am showing real progress with the knife you made me and I have been training with. I spar every day like I told I would."

"Good on you, kiddo."

Soon they found themselves in the Forge, where Charlie was standing, waiting for them in the middle of six other kids, including one exceedingly pretty girl with a strong aura of love. "Hey everyone, this is Mason. He's Leo's brother, and Lord Ganymede's Champion."

Mason bowed softly. "I am also a decently powerful witch. It is nice to meet you all."

Leo led him over to table. "I made this for you, with Charlie's help." He picked up a buckler, one etched with powerful markers of magic. The metal was silver, with blessed wood with a leather handle. "It is enchanted, I used your spell to create weapons and added my power into it. It is really strong, and will help keep you safe."

Mason, touched, placed it on his ar, flexing the magic until it turned into a bracelet that was just a smaller version of the buckler. "It's amazing, you really made something amazing, Leo."

Leo giggled. "I tried, really hard. It's even fireproof!"

"I can sense that! Seriously wonderful work, you are amazing Leo!"

"Hello there, you must be Mason." They all turned to see a centaur with a white stallion body at the doorway. "I am Chiron, Leo has told us so much about you."

Mason growled back. "And he told me about the abusive bullies you call campers here. Campers that never get so much as a lick of punishment for attempting to assault him?"

:::

A wave of what looked like a heat washed off of Mason, a purplish energy that showcased the boy's darker power. Chiron did not see him as a threat, but he knew the boy was not to be underestimated regardless. "I thought your spell bag blasting her away and Leo's threats was all that was needed to place Clarisse in her place."

"But from what I gather it happens a lot, why do you do so little?" His words actually seem to shift things around, people even Charlie and Silena looked at him with shock and a moment of... shocking clarity.

A terrible sign.

The Centaur sighed. "I am only allowed to do so much, have you ever considered that the gods do not like anyone but another god punishing their children, even me?"

Mason frowned. "That actually does make sense... we will discuss more later, but for now, I have time to spend with Leo. Only so much. I won't have it ruined."

Silena, who was standing to to the boy's left, smiled. "Leo wanted us to show you the Pegasi, want to come see them, Mason?"

"Sure, let's go."

And as they went off, Mason's cold brown eyes glared at him, glistening with a hint of power... letting Chiron know that conversation was not over.

'The last thing we need with Kronos rising,... is someone causing discord.'

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was a joy to write.

Love, your Ninja Overlord,
