Alright so initial, this chapter was suppose to be all about Inko getting word about the attack and coming to see Izuku. However, after writing the line "Does anyone know if his mother has been notified." Last chapter, I decied to have some fun with that line. Going with it double meaning of his adoptive mother and biological mother. Then initially this chapter was written to be day zero of Kaina'a Tsutsumi's arrest and a short passage about the different events that happened while she was in Tartarus. Ending with her receiving words about the attack.
However, then I started writing the different events and it just tumbled from there. And what was suppose to be half chapter is now currently two. With probably more on the way. So yeah.
With that, let's start off with a bang.
After being arrested the world flashed by pretty quickly for Kaina Tsutsumi. In the moments leading up to shooting the HPSC President, all the thoughts she had, her regrets and guilt of what she had done, were clear. She had tried to keep calm as she rode the elevator up to the HPSC President's office, but as the lights that indicated what floor she was on chimed, she couldn't help but feel the sense of failure and betrayal she had been feeling for a while.
Since being a teenager, she had been trained to and was promised to be a hero to the world. One that was meant to protect those who could not protect those who could not protect themselves. Yet in the end, all she became was the HPSC's assassin, tasked to cover up all their less-than-moral activities. And being called into HPSC President's office, just to be told that she wasn't doing her job properly, that she was getting laxed and that the year she had taken off had clearly dulled her edge.
As the seconds ticked by in that elevator all Kaina could see was the amount of blood that was on her hands. So much that it was dripping out of her hands and falling to the ground. The blood had first appeared after the third kill ordered by the HPSC. It was when a group of kids approached her wanting her autograph, but she didn't notice until one of them asked for a high-five. When she saw the blood she wanted to withdraw but all she could hear was the HPSC President in her mind telling her to keep up appearances.
So Kaina had pushed through the fear to give the kids what they wanted. She pushed through the panic as she continued to patrol, trying to make it easy on herself by staying on rooftops. And when she clocked out, she felt more blood pouring and tried to scrub the metaphorical blood off of her hands. Yet no matter how hard she scrubbed or how much soap she used, the blood won't come off.
And now being called into the HPSC President's office, only to be told that not only was she failing to properly cover up the HPSC's Illegal activities, and there was yet another target for her to track down and kill. Most likely a villain, who had no possibility of being a real threat, but was making it seem like he was.
Because of all that she had to deal with, Kaina couldn't take it anymore. As her boss sat down in his chair and began looking over some files, Kaina used her quirk. Her boss must have heard the noise because he looked up and met her eyes. Then without giving him a chance for any last words, Kaina pulled the trigger and shot her boss in the head.
Kaina knew it wouldn't take long for word about her actions to reach the ears of every other hero in Japan. So she quickly took off and became adamant about getting word to Inko and Izuku. Yet she knew that her phone was being tracked, the HPSC was usually lazy and slow about items that needed to be done until it involved them. Then they moved fast enough to complete whatever needed to be done before All Might could say, "Go Beyond. Plus Ultra." So the moment their boss was reported dead by her quirk, they would begin tracking her phone and tapping into any call she made. And the last thing she wanted to do was paint a target on Inko and Izuku's back.
Kaina could only hope that she had got the message across, "The HPSC was not to be trusted."
In the heat of the moment, Kaina wasn't sure if Mareo and his team could be trusted. They had been the ones to train her to be the HPSC war dog. Yet that didn't matter as it didn't take long before she noticed the first group of pro heroes on her trail. The reason she ran was to talk to Inko to try and explain the situation. And when Kaina was sure that her sister had gotten the message, she stopped running and after nearly spending her whole life doing so, she stopped fighting.
It wasn't long after that Kaina was handcuffed and loaded into a police transport vehicle to be taken to holding.
Kaina thought the HPSC would try to keep her arrest out of the spotlight, to try and save face, as if they only employed righteous heroes. But they did the exact opposite. By the next morning, every single news station in Japan was talking about her arrest and alleged killing of two new up-and-coming pro heroes. Her face, hero and civilian name, along with the crimes she was being charged with were being shown. It was almost hourly that her name was mentioned and social media spread the word like wildfire.
Nor did it take long before someone tried to place the blame on the HPSC, but they must have been prepared for that. Their media department must have clocked in serious overtime throughout the night, as it wasn't long after the first allegation that Lady Nagant was being arrested by the HPSC for her actions, and that even Pro Heros were held accountable for their actions and that no one was above the law.
In other news, the HPSC President suddenly announced his retirement and was moved to the Bahamas.
In the end, the loss of trust in the HPSC was minimal, probably within their expected margins of error. But as said before the HPSC moved fast when an issue started to target them and Kaina was sure the trust would be restored before the month was out.
From the moment of arrest, Kaina was stripped of her hero status and her hero license was revoked. She was placed into holding until the HPSC could figure out what to do with her. Something that didn't take long, only two and a half weeks. For those two and half weeks, Kaina waited to hear mention of Inko, Izuku or even Hisashi. Yet in this case no mention was good as it meant they weren't targeted or being brought in.
There was no trial, the justice system didn't seem to find the need to have one. The HPSC submitted so much evidence that if a trial occurred Kiana would have no hope of winning. Not that she didn't believe she needed one, she knew she was guilty. She had killed people, possibly even innocent people, all on the command of the HPSC.
So that left Kaina stuck in holding while all of her belongings were seized by the HPSC. The only small relief Kaina had was that Izuku had been born under Hisashi's family name, leaving no ties to her.
When Kaina was left out of holding, she was immediately brought into a room full of guards she recognized as those from Tartarus. She was told to strip down to bare skin and then she was searched for weapons. All the while the dozen of Tartarus guards stood on watch. She was then given an orange jumpsuit with a serial number over the heart. She was then brought to another room where she was cuffed to a chair and given a haircut so her hair didn't even reach her shoulders.
Once Kaina was released from the chair a metal band was secured to her waist and then chains were added, connecting to cuffs around her ankles and wrist. The second to last piece was some black cloth wrapping around her right elbow that the guard explained had wiring it and if the wiring was broken they would be notified. With how sturdy the material felt, it was clear the only way it was being ripped was if Kaina used her quirk. The final piece was a metal collar that had two metal bars attached to it. Two guards grabbed the bars and directed her out of the room.
The two guards walked Kaina through the police station and out the back where there was a black armored transport vehicle waiting. Kaina was forced into the back where a metal frame with wiring, up to chest height, was wrapped around it. Kaina was forced into the metal frame and then the two bars were secured to the walls. This forced Kaina to stay standing as the transport vehicle began to drive away.
During this whole process and ride, Kaina did not offer up any bit of resistance. She had not spoken a single word and she followed every order given to her. It was as if she wasn't in control of her body.
Due to all the security given to her arrest and transport Kaina had no illusion of where she had been taken to. Tartarus, Japan's max security prison, far off of Japan's coast, basically international waters, on a man-made island. It was a prison built generations ago, to serve as Japan's version of Alcatraz. Built to house the worst villains the world faces. In the beginning, the thing that set it apart from other prisons was the increased number of guards and tighter security. Though over the years as quirks and technology evolved, Tartarus always had the state of the art equipment.
The guards that worked there were hand-picked based on their training, experience and their quirk abilities to handle riots and attempted breaks out or in. This made Tartarus known around the world and any time a country faced an A or S rank villain, they were transported to Tartarus for the rest of their life. All in all, despite the high-risk inmates housed, all the countries around the world poured money into Tartarus to make sure that no one could break in or out. And so far that statement held true.
Kaina's belief about the location of the transport was confirmed when she felt a few bumps in the road and after a few minutes of no movement, she heard a boat horn and then the vehicle began to sway back and forth. Kaina just kept quiet to herself for the nearly eight-hour boat ride to the man-made island that would be her home for the rest of her life.
Shortly after the boat stopped, the two guards stood up disconnected the two metal bars from the wall and directed Kaina out of the cage. The back door of the black armored transport vehicle opened and Kaina was forced out into the world, where she saw sunlight for the first time in two and a half weeks. But it didn't last long. Kaina was pushed forward and forced to walk the length of the cargo boat that had brought her there.
Kaina was directed down the walkway and onto the dock where a middle-aged man with a grey beard greeted her, "Ah, Lady Nagant we don't typically have someone of your reputation staying here with us. Or the one you used to hold. I am Warden Zeref." Warden Zeref then noticed there wasn't much light in Kaina's lights, "Ha it seems that you boys already broke her spirit. Shame it is my favorite part of new arrivals, to see their last bit of hope crunch underneath my boot.
"We didn't do anything." The first guard said.
"Yeah, she came like this." The second guard said.
Warden Zeref laughed again and commented, "Then it is a wonder how she was ever able to pass as a pro hero." Warden Zeref then gestured for the guards to follow him. The guards gripped the metal bars and directed Kaina forward, who was still not offering any resistance.
Once off the dock, they walked up a cold metallic road to a large cement wall that had a gate that looked as if it belonged to a medieval castle. Warden Zeref pulled out a matte black metallic card. He held up to a camera and a few seconds later, the gate split and swung inwards. This revealed a hallway that had white walls and roof and looked barely big enough to fit two semi-trucks. Kaina was forced to walk down the hallway, as Warden Zeref gave an introduction as if he was giving a prepared speech.
"Welcome to Tartarus, named after the Greek mythological prison where all the monsters were sent to when they died. Designed and built to contain, hold, house the worst of the worst." Warden Zeref said, then looked at Kaina, "You remember that villain that nearly destroyed Russia by causing its mountain to turn into volcanos. He's been in six years, five months and 18 days, and hasn't escaped once. This is achieved by having the state of the art security this world has to offer. The only place you'll have better security is I-island, where most of all this was built. But we don't just rely on technology, we have the best guards in the world."
The white halfway opened up a bit, its roof becoming glass, revealing hundreds of guards standing on catwalks looking down to watch Kaina for any hostile movement.
"Everyone thinks they have a chance to escape at first, but this facility employs over a thousand guards. Hand picked from all over the world, some are even semi-retired pro heroes. Training, experience, even their quirks hand picked to provide the best security and the worst chance of escaping. Every single one of them is trained to be able to handle a B ranked villain by themselves. And then there are quirks, all selected for their ability to subdue and restrain villains much like yourself."
The hallway narrowed again and cameras were now covering the walls.
"You'll notice hundreds of this camera around the facility, and a million more you won't. All giving 24/7 surveillance to a central command center where guards watch every millimeter of this prison. While they may not be trained for combat, they are trained to read body language, tell if any prison is about to act up, some even have quirks that allow them to look at a person and look at their intent as if it was a book. I'm sure they'll be able to tell your welcome wagon won't be so warm."
They reached another gate where Warden Zeref showed his matte black card to another camera. This time the gate slid down to the ground.
"Since Tartarus is a special prison, I have special permission to get creative with how things run here. You'll be given your own 2 1/2, by 2 ½ by 5 meter cell, with each wall being a meter thick. Inside those walls, you'll find interlocking cement and titanium panels. We have three different mess halls, which you will rotate between every two days. You'll find that this helps prevent any gangs from forming up." Warden Zeref said as they continued down a narrowing hallway, "you might have noticed that there is no natural light within this facility, that's because there isn't. Oh don't worry, there are the usual places like a library, a gym, a rec room, a bathhouse. But you won't see daylight for the rest of your light.
"You won't be provided a schedule of when you're moved from room to room and you won't see any clock on the wall, so you won't learn the guard rotations, or get an idea of when you won't be under watch, which is never."
The introduction seemed to pause as the group moved through different parts of the prison until they walked through a door and Kaina saw a large 2-A-5 on the walls, "But that's all the basic stuff of the prison. The area you need to mainly concern yourself apart is within these walls, the last general population area before the high-security area. That's typically reserved for villains who nearly made the human race go extinct or whose quirks are hard to maintain in a large crowd."
As the warden led the group down to some catwalks some prisoners noticed the new arrival. Some began to holler and chant, while many began to cat-call Kaina or give out some less than family-friendly whispers.
"You may have to defend yourself against some of the more enthusiastic prisoners. Shouldn't be too difficult for someone as skilled as you." Warden Zeref said as they arrived at a new cell. Kiana looked through the small window and saw the cell was empty. Warden Zeref pulled out a metallic red card and scanned it against the door, "Welcome to your new home for the rest of your life."
With a hiss of air, the door opened and Kiana was forced to the cell. Inside the cell, the metal collar was removed along with the cuffs around her wrists and ankles. Kiana was then surprised as one of the guards removed the metal waistband. Then a red band slipped over her left wrist.
"That's a neat little thing, I had cooked up. It's powered off your body heat, allowing it to track you until you turn over. And by track, I just don't mean your location. It also tracks your heart rate, the different chemical levels i your mind and body, your blood pressure, EKG, and even your brain waves. All that information is sent to a central server that keeps track of you." Warden Zeref then gestures for the two guards to stand outside the cells. This must have been customary, as neither guard didn't question it. They even closed the door, but Kaina could hear them just outside.
"Now often new inmates arrive in a dazed stage, some even unconscious. So I would like to ask if you have any questions, but you as a Japanese pro hero must already be familiar with this place." Warden Zeref said.
"You must be pretty stupid if you lock yourself in a room alone with prisoners, that are as dangerous as this place is supposed to hold," Kaina said as she turned to look at Warden Zeref. She had no intention of attacking Warden Zeref, she just wanted to see what kind of man he was. She had come across many men who had first presented themselves as strong and the perfect protectors. But then the cracks always began to appear.
"Perhaps, but I'm quite sure that my quirk will be able to protect me. Though even if you did somehow kill me, in the time it would take you to steal my card and get to the door, you'll find a group of fifty guards waiting for you outside. None of them need a reason to kill, and the reason to keep you alive is seeing their next paycheck." Warden Zeref said, and then gestured to a small black spot in the upper corner of the cell, "Each and every prisoner is monitored, but none more than myself. So try as you might, but killing me would only end in the same happening to you.
Kiana didn't say anything else as she lowered herself onto her bed. Taking this as she didn't have anything else to say, the warden left the room. With nothing else to do, Kiana fell asleep and felt the world of worry and fear she had been holding in her mind behind.
She slept until a bang in the middle of the night, at least Kaina assumed the middle of the night woke her up. She lazily opened one eye and saw a guard standing outside her cell, "Inmate name and number.
"Kaina Tsutsumi, 565-FE4-085." Kaina said, closing her eyes again.
"Ah, Lady Nagent, we were told we would be getting a special guest in the form of you. Killing Japan's HPSC President. I'm sure your fellow inmates would love to learn that you've landed yourself here."
"I'm sure your boss would love to learn who told everyone." Kaina said Warden Zeref had said the only reason the guard tried to keep the prisoners alive was because doing otherwise would void their paycheck. And telling the other inmate about her was a sure way to get her killed. And to make it known she was serious Kaina added, "Officer Enson."
Officer Enson scoffed again, hit the door with his baton and then moved on. Kaina just sighed as she fell back asleep. The next morning Kaina was awakened by a new guard banging on her door. This time she had to get out of the bed and stick her arm through the hole in the door, where the guard scanned the bracelet.
Kaina was then instructed to pull her arm back in and wait for her door to be opened. Five minutes later her cell door opened and she stepped out onto the catwalk. She followed the group down the catwalk and into a large mess hall where breakfast was served. Throughout the allotted time for the meal, no prisoners approached Kaina as she sat alone, but she figured word about who she was would get out. Something like that always did.
After breakfast, Kaina was taken back to her cell, where she played with her hair. While it was short, she could still make a bullet out of it. Not wanting to get caught and have the guard believe she would make an arsenal. So Kaina just kept it to a single bullet and after finding some loose string from her bed, Kaina pulled the length of her room and then some.
Kaina then tied the string around the end of the bullet. Sitting down on the bed, Kaina threw the bullet like a dart across the room. The bullet hit the wall and Kaina noticed that the bullet didn't bounce off the wall, it was as if the wall absorbed all the kinetic energy, allowing the bullet to simply fall to the ground. Kaina then pulled on the string, pulling the bullet back to her so she didn't have to get up to retrieve it.
Though there was no clock, her training through Project Velocity had given Kaina a good sense of time. So when a guard came to scan her bracelet and direct her to the library she knew she had been playing darts by herself for an hour and a half.
After two hours in the library, Kaina was brought to a new mess hall. It looked similar to the first mess hall, same white walls and ceiling and, the same black floor, but Kaina could tell as the portions of the rooms were different. Hard to tell to untrained eyes, but Kaina had the best eyesight in the world, the room was smaller by 2 meters in each direction. After an hour and ten minutes for lunch, Kaina was directed to a gym with different exercise equipment. After 50 minutes of exercise, it was back to the cells until dinner.
That was the typical schedule that Kaina fell into. Breakfast, then back to the cell, then either gym, rec room, library or cleaning duty. Then lunch, then one other three choices, then back to the cell, then dinner. Besides the different mess halls, Kaina noticed that there were different gyms, rec rooms, bathhouses and libraries. That meant no two days were similar to each other, especially as the rotation of prisoners Kaina was with was also different.
Yet despite each day being different Kaina noticed the other prisoners were shooting glances at her. She noticed most of them were coming from fellow Japanese villains, no doubt some of them were beginning to recognize her. It won't be long until they spread rumors and some kind of militia comes from it.
For the coming month, Kaina kept to herself, the only real interaction she had with others was with the guards. She noticed that during the day the guards just scanned her bracelet. It was only during the night she had to give her name and prisoner number. And with each time she did, the guard seemed to magically recognize her name and threaten to tell the prisoners.
Each time Kaina would relay the same threat as the first time and state the guard's name for extra effect if needed. While most guards seemed overprotective of their paycheck, she met a few who seemed to be here for the righteous cause of protecting the world from the villains housed in Tartarus.
And it seemed eventually she got a guard that wasn't too worried about her paycheck. It is a Monday, a whole month after being brought to Tartarus. After breakfast, Kaina was prepared to go back to her cell, making sure that her bullet and string were attached to the inside of her jumpsuit. Yet as she exited the mess hall a pair of guards grabbed her and directed her away from the line.
Kaina was pulled along to a smaller hallway until the guards opened a door that led to a room that looked as if it belonged to a hair salon. Kaina was caught off guard as after seeing nothing of white walls and black flooring, to see a room that looked so normal it was jarring. Kaina was directed over to a chair that sat in front of a mirror. Handcuffs were attached to her wrists and ankles.
The guards left the room and Kaina was by herself for only 30 seconds, when the door behind her opened and a woman with very stylized hair walked in. The woman noticed Kaina stare in the mirror and asked, "What, not expecting someone like me to work in a place like this, Lady Nagant."
Kaina's silence was her answer.
"Well I try to disassociate myself from those brutes of guards." The woman said as she pressed a handle on Kaina's chair and it began to slowly fall backwards. Only stopping when Kaina felt cold ceramic against the back of her neck. Kaina suddenly felt warm water running down her hair and soaking into her scalp.
"Is that warm enough for you?" The woman said and Kaina hummed a bit, as the warm water felt good as the showers in the gym only got up to lukewarm, "Good, though you should know this isn't just a hair salon, I take care of all the passive quirks like yours."
"What do you mean?" Kaina asked as she closed her eyes.
"Well, the warden has a different system in place to take care of the more aggressive quirk. Remote tranquillizer from that fancy command center of his, he doesn't have any real way to deal with passive quirks. Such as there is an inmate whose horns grow and then the longer they are the stronger he becomes. To keep him from getting too strong, he comes in every two months and I file his horns down. For you, I'm tasked with cutting your hair every month." The woman said and that made Kaina curse her fast-growing head. It was a curse that the whole Tsutsumi family had, all their hair grew quickly, even Inko. Though Inko was the lucky one, Tsutsumis typically had to get their haircut every month and a half, Inko only had to worry about getting a haircut every two and half months. Yet Kaina was even worse as due to her quirk using her hair to create bullets, Kaina had to get her hair cut once every month, "Your files say your quirk allows you to make bullets from your hair and that cause it to grow faster than normal, so to keep you from being able to make bullets, Warden's is keeping your hair short."
"So why do all this, why not just cut my hair and be done with me?' Kaina asked, questioning why she was questioning it. She was able to feel hot water for the first time in a month and a half, she didn't want it to stop any time soon.
"Well. I'm a Quirk-Biology specialist. I studied how quirks can affect normal human biology, a perfect example is those whose quirks increase their natural flexibility. It doesn't matter while directly or through animal biology, they have extra nerves in their necks. If you grabbed hold of their neck the right way, their entire body would become limp. Kind of like how a mama cat carries around her babies." The woman said as she began to scrub shampoo into Kaina's hair, "Or how those with enhanced strength quirk will have extra muscle fibers, ligament and tendons surrounding their joints to help cushion any recoil they feel. I suspect because your quirk affects your hair so much, the condition of it can affect the rest of your body in other ways. Get too much grit and grime in there, the rest of your health is going to soon follow."
Kaina hummed again and the woman noticed, "Am I close."
"You're correct." Kaina said as the woman began messaging her hair and scalp.
"And I try to do all this in a humane way. I've seen too many people go crazy here, so I try to give them a small break from the rest of this building's vibes. And I took an oath to do my research morally. " The woman said.
"Do you tend to all the prisoners here?" Kaina asked.
"Yes, I tend to them all, well those that require my services, at least." the woman said.
"That still got to be quite the workload." Kaina asked as the shampoo was rinsed out of her hair. She turned her head and saw that mixed in with the green bubbles was very dirty water.
"Hey." The woman said and flickered Kaina's right ear in a playful manner, "Eyes forwards. This might be different from the rest of the prison, but the warden still has cameras in these rooms. Those that watch them like to take any action as a threat and I can already tell you don't want to lose this."
"No," Kaina said as she brought her head forward.
"To answer your question, my team and I handle it. And by my team, I just mean me." The woman said and for the last part, it sounded as if Kaina was hearing double. Kaina looked at the mirror and saw double, two copies of the woman standing right behind Kaina, "My quirk allows me to make copies of myself, I can better handle the time of prisoners I have to see at once."
There a heat mirage appeared and the copies merged back into a single person. With that, the woman continued to rinse and brush Kaina's hair.
"Whenever I meet a new prisoner I like to use my original body, it feels more natural to me." The woman said then began to dry Kaina's hair. Once that was done, Kaina's chair was raised again and the woman pulled out a set of hair clippers, while the rinsing station disappeared back into the floor, "So tell me Nagant what style do you want."
"I get to choose?" Kaina asked. From the moment she arrived here, she had been told how to do everything. When to eat, when to workout, when to go to bed.
"Like I said, I try to keep my sanity and my services humane." The woman said.
"Do you have any pictures I can reference?" Kaina asked and the woman tapped a few buttons on the side of the chair. Light flickered on the mirror and images of different hairstyles appeared on it. The woman scrolled through the different images until Kaina pointed one out and the woman said, "Good choice."
The woman then draped a cloth over Kain's chest and legs and began to cut Kaina's hair to a short length. When she began to style it, Kaina gave a warning, "Try not to twist or roll my hair, that's how I make bullets."
"Oh." The woman said holding up a half-formed bullet so Kaina could see in the mirror, "I think I just discovered that myself. Sorry."
Kaina just smiled, remembering her childhood and her disdain for how she couldn't braid her hair like the other girls. Her hair was always straight with not much style to it. Or how whenever Inko was mad at her, she would sneak into Kaina's room and braid it so it would form into a solid lump.
After discarding the half-formed bullet into a waste bin, the woman continued to style Kaina's hair. Once it was finished she held up a mirror for Kaina to look over, "I lowered the style of the look, as not so much that it drew the attention of other prisoners. Some of them aren't too happy about not getting my service or when I deny them the extra treatment."
"Thank you…" Kaina paused.
"Katie Brooklyn." Katie said, and Kaina realized how American Katie looked, "Surprises most people to learn, I'm from America as they have their own version of Tartarus and don't often reach out. But I came here to research strong quirks and see how they affect human biology."
"Tsutsumi, Kaina." Kaina said, getting a feeling she was going to get along with Katie easily and possibly have a friend.
"Japanese, you guys say your names backwards and go by surnames. So Tsutsumi," Katie said, "I've learned a lot of different languages to work here, with my clones it didn't take long but sometimes it's hard to keep all the different rules in line."
"Well thank you Katie." Kaina said.
"Help to be of assistance." Kaite then pulled the clothe off of Kaina's lap. After bunching it up and discarding it through a hole in the floor, Katie looked back at Kaina, "Just sit there, and try not to move while I get the guards."
Kaina just gave a slow nod, so Katie turned away from her and began walking to the door. Kaina noticed that Katie didn't walk at a fast pace, as if she didn't trust Kaina and thought she would take the first opportunity to kill her. No Katie walked with a normal pace, even pulling out her phone as if to check something, a schedule perhaps from what Kaina could see.
When Katie reached the door, she knocked on it and it quickly opened to reveal a guard. Without a word, Katie moved out of their way and they walked in. Kaina didn't move as they came up from behind and grabbed her arms. They then hauled her to her feet and directed her out of the room.
So that's Day Zero for Kaina arrest and her first month at Tartarus. Again this was only suppose to be half of a chapter, but sometimes my mind doesn't shut off. Hopefully next chapter I get to Kaina receiving word about the attack, but my mind might just decide to come up with new things to write.
Next Chapter: Can't hide forever.
Review and tell me what you think.
