Alrighty it is time for the next chapter of Project Velocity. And to start I have an announcement, I'm idiot. Part of getting a chapter ready to post is you have to label that chapter, I just have the chapter title for the label. However, since there three stories I have the start of the label different. For Electric heart its just "CH#:Title", for My Wolf academia it's "MWA:#" And for the Project Velocity it was suppose to be "PV: title" as in Project Velocity however, for some reason for the last 32 chapters it's been "PJ: title". I don't even know why that happens.

I mean the J and V on the keyboard aren't even close to one another. But for some reason I've been inputting Project Jelocity. It's only one with this chapter I've notice and I fill like a big idiot.

*Inhale* *Exhale*

Beyond that last chapter is was day zero for Kaina Tsutsumi in Tartarus and we got to see what life was like for her within those walls. Now this chapter we finish up the big event and she learn about the attack. Then we see how both sisters react to it.

As always I do not own MY HERO ACADEMIA or any of their characters.

With that, let's start off with a bang.

As Kaina stepped out of the room, Kaite gave her a small wink and then the door closed. As she walked down the white walls, and black floor hallway, Kaina knew she would savor the meetings she would have with Katie. A chance to have some normal in her life, a chance to pretend that she wasn't a dangerous villain locked up in a prison where she would never see the sunlight again. But more importantly, she would never see her sister or her son again. Hell, Kaina was even starting to miss Hisashi and his dumb face.

Kaina was led back to her cell, where the guards scanned her bracelet and then left her alone in the cell. She was surprised to she had forgo the afternoon and evening activities, with lunch and dinner being brought to her cell. It wasn't until the next morning that she was let out of her cell and brought to a dining hall.

As usual, Kaina was given her serving of food and took a spot at a table that didn't have that many people. As Kaina ate she noticed that more and more people were beginning to look at her. It would have been normal to suspect that it was because her hair was much shorter and styled, but within those stares Kaina noticed many of them weren't directed towards her hair.

Kaina looked around, eyeing those who were glancing more and more often at her. She noticed they were gripping their utensils. Warden Zeref said that prisoners were rotated between different areas to keep gangs from forming but it seemed that idea didn't work as well as it predicted. Because there was always the chance of a spontaneous militia.

That seemed to be the issue, as the next moment 20 of the different prisoners stood up and began converging on her. The other prisoners seated at the table, especially close to her, also noticed, evident by them sliding away from them. Kaina just stayed calm as she shot a glance at a camera, Warden Zeref said her welcome wagon wouldn't be warm, It had just been a a month late.

"Look at what we have here boys." a rough voice called from behind Kaina and the other prisoners laughed, "We didn't recognize you at first." The prisoner then leaned forward and braced himself against the table, "Then again there's only one Japanese pro hero known for her hair."

Kaina looked to the side and saw that the prisoner that had leaned next to her was the infamous Earthquake villain: Seismic. A Japanese villain who six years ago made nearly all coastal cities around the world sink into the ocean.

"Aito Meruem," Kaina said. She remembered the damage he had caused around the world. With his quirk, he was able to generate enough seismic energy to cause an 8-magnitude earthquake within 100 miles of his position. But then somehow he got his hands on an experimental trigger and became strong enough to set off all the tectonic plates around the world.

Seismic had threatened every nation in the world to give him 5 billion yen each, but thanks to a team of geologists he was found to be held up in Australia outback and the world's top heroes converged on his outback safehouse and took him out before he could use his quirk.

The fight ended with an American hero getting the jump on him and knocking him out, resulting in a large scar across his left eye. Because of this, he had a scar that went from his left cheek to his hairline and his left eye had been damaged as if it had a large cataract in it.

"Did you think you could hide who you are." Seismic turned revealing the left side of his face, "Lady Nagant."

Kaina's eyes jumped down to her sleeve-covered arm and Seismic must have noticed because he said, "Without your quirk, how well do you think you'll do against all 20 of us."

Kaina looked back at Seismic and her eyes narrowed, "Only one way to find out."

Seismic was not expecting that answer, which became clear as Kaina had the time not only to ram elbow into his nose but also turn around, get out of her seat and knee him in the gut. As Seismic fell to the ground, the rest of the villains that had surrounded Kaina leapt forward to fight. She dodged a right hook that she wrapped her arm around, yet before she could throw a punch, she had to jump back onto her seat to dodge a food tray. As she jumped this coincidentally pulled the villain who had thrown the right hook into the path of the food tray.

Kicking the now dazed villain away, Kaina got onto the table and slipped her foot under her food tray. She then kicked it forward, spraying the advancing group of villains with greasy rice, steamed broccoli and chicken that was the same texture as a dog toy. That was enough distraction for Kiaina to grab the very dull plastic knife she had placed on the table next to the food tray and then jump down into the fight.

She crashed into a larger villain, then wrapped her left arm around his neck and proceeded to use it as a pivot point to swing her legs up and drop-kick another villain into the gut. Yet before she could fall to the ground, she used her left arm around the larger villain's neck to pull herself, while at the same time pulling the large villain's head down. This allowed her to swing around and press her knee into the larger villain's back. She then brought her legs up and planted them against the large villain.

And then with a push, the large villain went tumbling forward into three other villains that were rushing forward. While it occurred, Kaina vaulted into the air and came down behind two twin villains. They looked around, not really seeing where she had gone, so Kaina said, "Hello boys."

Kaina then grabbed both of their heads and knocked them together. The twin on the right immediately fell unconscious, while the twin on the left took an extra sucker punch to the temple to fall down as well. Kaina then felt something get dragged across the back of her neck. She immediately brought a hand up to the back of her neck and felt that the skin was irritated. And when she turned around, she was a villain holding a plastic knife.

Kaina could almost laugh.

There was no way a dull plastic knife would be able to cut anything stronger than plastic wrap, so there was no way it was going to cut skin. Kaina smirked as she rushed forward, grabbed the villain's hand with the knife, moved it out of the way and used her own knife to hit her in the neck multiple times. The knife never broke skin but it was going to leave some nasty bruises.

Kaina heard the sound of the door leading out of the mess hall being busted down and several guards rushing into the room. They were all dressed in black riot gear with accompanying shields and electric batons. Kaina noticed their response was much slower than what Warden Zeref had made it out to be.

While the fight had been relatively small, the moment the guards entered all the prisoners decided to attack them. But that was a mistake, as the guarde immediately began to prove why they had been hired. They easily handled any prisoners that came at them and with the guards distracted, other prisoners began to work out old grudges or get revenge for past fights.

Seeing all this, Kaina tossed the villainess away and passed through the crowd to get to a spot where she didn't have to deal with the riot. She pushed her way through the crowd, shoving villains out of the way, not caring about inferring with a fight or even pushing someone into the way of the attack.

Slowly she worked her way through the crowd, even managing to get past the guards. Kaina then stepped out of the dense crowd and into a pocket of air. She then saw that because the guards were taking care of the riot, the door was practically unguarded. Another prisoner must have noticed because he had stopped going after the guards and began running towards the door.

Kaina's hero instinct flared up and she ran after the prisoner. Catching him right before he reached the door. Kaina slid down and attacked his left leg, causing him to fall to his knees. But as he stumbled forward Kaina stood up and hit him with an uppercut. As the villain's head whipped back, Kaina's hero instinct took over and she used her quirk. Her foreman was forced down at an odd angle and her rifle came shooting out of her elbow, tearing apart the black fabric that had been over her arm for over a month now. Her rifle charged forward and rammed itself into the villain's chest, sending him falling backwards.

Before Kaina had a chance to breathe the door behind her opened up, letting in more guards. Kaina quickly transformed her arm back to nomral, but the dead were down as all the guards saw the black fabric finish tearing and slowly fall to the ground. Yet none of them acted, telling Kaina they must have been receive instruction how to handle Kaina.

To help with their decision, Kaina held her arms, thne placed them on the back of her head and knelt down. The guards must have received word of what to do, as one of them stepped forward and cuffed her hands behind her back. The guard then passed her to two other guards and said, "Get this one of her cell."

The guards gave no acknowledgement except for grabbing Kaina's shoulder and pulling her out into the hallway. As they walked down the hallway, the incoming guards parted to let the trio pass without any delay. As the sound of rushing footsteps disappeared, they arrived at Kaina's cell, where she was dragged into the corner and told to stay still as they uncuffed her wrists. Then one guard wrapped new black fabric around her elbow and then pressed a white card against it. Once the card beeped the guards stepped down and directed Kaina to sit on her bed.

Then the two guards quickly left the room, to go help the riot if it was still once going.

Kaina was left alone in her room for a few minutes before the hissing of air reached her ears and the door to her cell opened up. In walked Warden Zeref wearing a suit no less fancy than the one he was first wearing when she arrived.

"Well that took a bit longer than expected, but it seems you've made your first impression. And quite the impression you made, handling not only Seismic, but five other super villains. I guess that was a good way to make sure that no one messes with you." Warden Zeref said as if he was getting her her wrap sheet like he was her biggest fan, "But then you just had to go and ruin it by using your quirk. True you fired off that bullet, but you still transformed your arm and used it to attack another prisoner. Didn't know you have that in your skill set, but that stunt has earned you a month of solitary confinement."

Kaina shifted a bit, but Warden Zeref stopped her, "Oh don't worry you don't be moving cells. It just means that you won't be leaving this cell for a while and you'll be directed to a personal bathhouse in the middle of the night every four days."

Kaina tried not to smile, that meant she wouldn't have to be surrounded by the worst of the worst throughout the day. And the way Warden Zeref was talking it sounded like she had made a big enough display that no one would ever think to try and attack her again.

And that's how it went, after a month of staying inside the cell, Kaina was let out of her cell for breakfast and as she walked in she noticed that no one turned to look at her. It seemed word had not only spread about who she was, but what she was capable of doing. So everyone left her alone and that's how it was for the next 12 years.

No one approached her, many moving away whenever she sat down in a mess hall. Everyone stayed out of her line of sight in the rec room and the libraries. And because of that Days, weeks, months and years all blended together. New villains occasionally appeared, but that was all there was to break up the years.

Until one night a few minutes after Kaina had been woken up and had given her prisoner number and name, a small slit on the bottom of her door opened up and a newspaper slid into her room. As Kaina was still in that state of half awake, half asleep, she noticed the newspaper but debuted while trying to grab it. She was also partially surprised that Tartarus prisoners were even allowed to receive gifts. She figured it was because they were all supervillains and no one cared about them.

And even if Inko missed her, she was smart enough not to send Kaina a gift. That would cause too many questions to be asked and cause too many red flags to be raised by the HSCP.

Kaina was leaning towards not grabbing the newspapers until she noticed that it wasn't just newspapers. There was also a photo and an additional piece of paper attached to it. Kaina moaned as she rolled out of bed and grabbed the newspapers. As she held up the newspapers a dim light turned on, not enough for a normal person to be able to see but Kaina did have enhanced eyesight. The first thing Kaina did was read the newspaper and the headliner had a photo of a large building with the large letter of USJ fallen on the ground in front of it. She then read the article, which talked about how, for the first time in several years, organized criminals were back and that a group of villains had come together and attacked UA High School.

They had broken into their off-campus facility Unforeseen Simulation Joint and attacked a class of first-year hero students. Reports from students and villains alike explain that the group had come under the presence of killing All Might with a bioengineering creature. This League of Villains was at the front of it, amassing a group of villains to handle the student and other teachers while the creature fought All Might. However, due to a change in schedule, All Might was only to show for the last 30 minutes of class to show how a rescue operation was to be handled.

Kaina almost laughed out loud; she had never seen All Might lead a rescue operation and he didn't seem like the kind of guy that would ever learn how to.

The article then talked about how the injuries sustained by the students were minimal and the two present teachers were in the hospital and expected to make a full recovery. However, due to the League's plans and the later scheduled arrival of All Might, the class's president had to step forward and fend off the creature when the two teachers failed to protect their students. Due to the student's power and persistence, he was able to rescue and save his fellow students and teachers, by fending off the creature and buying time until All Might was able to arrive. However, he achieved with a great cost to his life and it was unsure whether he would come back to life. And if he did survive the injuries and surgeries, would he still be able to be a pro hero.

After reading through the article once again, Kaina never found the Class President's name was never given nor was his quirk listed. Which she found quite strange as Media outlets were notoriously known for releasing the names of people, especially in the world of heroes. Yet it was UA, perhaps they had found a way to bar the name from reaching anyone's ears. The article explained the student had acted like a hero, so shouldn't he be praised?

Then again he had done so at great cost to his life. So perhaps UA was holding off on releasing the student's name until it was known whether the student would live or not.

With that thought Kaina came back to her original question of why someone would send her a newspaper. With no answer coming from the newspaper itself, Kaina turned her attention to the piece of paper and the photo. Grabbing a hold of the photo Kaina unfolded and tears immediately formed around the edge of her eyes.

It was the photo of a UA Student. She recognized that uniform and it looked to be a hero student based on the strips on the shoulders. But it wasn't the uniform that made her tear up, no it was who the student was. Kaina recognized it all, even though it had been 12 years she could never forget that smile, the one that was always over-cheerful but held mischievous intentions behind it. Those bright eyes that were always looking around to others to help. That purple and green colored hair that was always wild and no comb or amount of hair gel could ever fix.

Kaina took a hollowed breath because looking back at her with a smiling face was her son, her Izuku. Then writing on the bottom left corner of the photo caught her attention, it said, "Izuku Midoriya, Class 1-A Class President."

Tears began to roll down Kaina's cheeks as she realized Izuku had done it. He had gotten into UA, he was training to be a hero. He was going to save people and the world. He was going to bring smiles to people, just as he said he would, just like All Might. It was amazing, incredible, spectacular. Izuku was fulfilling his dream.

But how long until it came crashing down? How long until Izuku's past was uncovered? How long until the HPSC sees his quirk, and ties him down to Kaina? How long until he is either arrested or the HPSC trains him to be her replacement?

Kaina didn't think she could handle that, thinking about her son being like her. A killer, murderer, a villain. Kaina couldn't handle the thought alone, what would happen if it became true? How long until the HPSS gets the killer they always wanted?

Kaina looked at the photo of her son. How long until Izuku lost that smile of his?

"Class 1-A Class President" was what was written on the photo of her son The article talked about how it was the class's representative that had stepped forwards to protect everyone. And if Kaina's schedule was correct Izuku would be 15, just…. Starting… High School.

Her Izuku was the one who had almost given his life to protect his teacher and classmates. Kaina finally opened the notes and wrote in extremely neat handwriting 12 words, "The echoing sound of fate rings louder than the bells of death"

How long until Izuku lost his life while protecting others?

The next morning when the guard came to scan Kaina's arm, when she didn't immediately stick her arm out he quickly pulled out a key card and unlocked the door. Once the door opened the guards were surprised to find Kaina sitting on the floor. She was crossed-legged and her back was hunched over. And when he crouched down, he saw signs of tears on her cheeks. Then he noticed the mess of little pieces of torn paper that surrounded her, making a noticeable circle.

Kaina then stirred but barely. Her head slightly rose and she spoke softly, "Get me out of this cell?"

The guard wasn't quite sure whether Kaina had said hell or cell, but he quickly grabbed his radio and called for a medical team to be ready to receive a prisoner. Two more guards quickly arrived and took Kaina to the medical wing, where a physical examination couldn't find anything, causing Kaina to put on watch.

All the while Warden Zeref was standing in the doorway of Kaina's cells. He looked around the mess. It was almost a perfect circle where Kaina was sitting in the middle of it.

"Tell me once again." Warden Zeref said.

"I knocked on the door and waited for her to hold out her arms, after 10 seconds I opened the door, only to find Lady Nagant sitting on the floor in the middle of the mess." the guard that had found Kaina spoke.

"While at the same time, we discovered a glitch in the system. It occurred at 0138 hours last night when the cameras in this cell block were turned off and Lady Nagent's door was accessed, opening the bottom slot. We believe that's how all the paper got in." One of the surveillance technicians said as she had been called to the situation.

"And what about her bracelet?" Warden Zeref asked.

"Looped. The same vitals repeated over and over, and I isolated the time frame of the record to have been taken from 2250 hours to 0000 hours last night."

"Then why not loop the camera?" Warden Zeref questioned then turned to the technicians, "What about the analog cameras? The only way to turn those off is to cut the power to the whole block and that would have set off an alarm no matter what kind of system glitch was put in place."

The technician held up a finger to ask for a second while she pulled out her tablet and began typing away. After a few seconds, the color disappeared from her face, "Sh4321." She then rewound the footage and turned it to show to Warden Zeref. It was a thermal viewing of the hallway. The floor and walls were cool, but then a small buzz appeared and a large cold dead space appeared. After a few moments, it disappeared. Then a slightly cold heat signature appeared in the shape of a man with the same cold dead space around as if an aura from an anime.

The man walked to Kaina's cell and then crouched down. Then he stood back and a large, cold dead appeared and the man disappeared through it.

"Teleporter. But I thought all were supposed to be reported to the UN." the guard said.

"Then they must have done a really good job hiding their abilities." Warden Zeref said then turned back to the mess, "So that takes care of the who, how, and when, now for the what and why."

Warden Zeref stepped into the cell and began to look over the mess of paper, "Arista I want you and your team to resemble this mess. See what was given to Lady Nagant and then maybe it can tell us why it was given to her."

Arista nodded as she sent a message to her team. After cleaning up the mess, each piece of paper was digitally scanned and assembled together like a puzzle. Gave an image of a Japanese newspaper from three days ago and a note that said, "The echoing sound of fate rings louder than the bells of death"

Warden Zeref immediately asked for a complete copy of that edition from the same news outlet, but after reading through the entire time multiple times and having the team go through it and find a connection to the note. Yet after a week, nothing was found, and with Kaina saying nothing Warden Zeref put the mystery on a back burner to deal with the more pressing issue of coming up with a security system that could detect and possibly neutralize the teleporter.

At the same time it had been a quiet day at the Midoriya household. After Izuku left for school, Inko did some little cleaning though it wasn't really needed, as Izuku was a very tidy kid and Eri herself had picked up that habit. In honesty, Inko was a little ashamed she was the messiest of the three. So after cleaning her room and helping Eri start a load of laundry, the only real task she had left to do was set out some chicken to thaw for dinner.

Past that, it was a very quiet day, as Inko and Eri played games and when Eri went down for a nap, Inko took the time to catch up on her favorite book series. Even enjoying a cup of tea and some cheesecake. Then as it was nearing the end of Eri's nap, Inko set up some more lessons for Eri to do. Then once Eri woke up Inko went over the lessons with her and then gave Eri her homework. And just when it seemed like it was going to be the perfect day with school almost getting out and Izuku slated to be arriving soon, that's when Karma and Fate decided to ruin it.

Inko was cozying up in the living room with Eri at the coffee table doing homework when her phone went off. Not wanting to get off the couch, Inko held her hand and a second later her phone came flying in from the kitchen and landed in her hand. Inko looked at the caller ID. It was a local number but not one she recognized. Inko was about to easily dismiss it, but then she got a large amount of dread. She pressed the accept call button and held it up to her ear, "Hello this is Inko Midoriya speaking."

"Hello Mrs. Midoriya, this is Principal Nezu of UA High School. I'm calling to inform you that an attack occurred at one of our off-campus training faculty. A large group of villains broke and …. your son was badly injured. Our resident nurse, Pro hero Recovery Girl, is working to heal him as we speak."

Inko held a hand up to her mouth and with a shutter said, "Izuku." Inko's eyes started to glow green and things around her began to float into the air.

"Mrs. Midoriya, your son is still alive and you are welcome to come see him." Principal Nezu said. It sounded like he had more to say, but Inko ended the phone call. The items floating around her dropped and things that were needed began flying towards her. Purse, car keys, her shoes and Eri's shoes.

As Eri grabbed her shoes from the coffee table, confused about how they got there she looked at Inko and saw that her irises were glowing green, "Is something wrong?"

Inko took in a sharp breath, she couldn't leave control. She had to think, prioritize and execute a plan. Putting her shoes on Inko said, "We're going to go see Izuku at School."

While Eri quickly put on her shoes and Inko headed out to the car, she worked to control her breath as she leaned against the door frame. She had nearly lost it when Kaina was arrested, she had managed to keep it together back then, and she thought she could do it again. But that task was getting harder and harder to do. It was hard as she drove to UA, traffic seemed extremely heavy and it felt like it was moving at a snails pace. It became difficult as she walked past the gate, setting off alarms. Which caused Present Mic and Midnight to come out to meet her.

Then Present Mic tried to talk to her, stop her, but luckily Midnight saw the look in Inko's eye and told Present Mic that it was best to let her go.

Then it became nearly impossible as she walked down the hallway, following the signs to the nurse's office. Inko could feel her breath become shallow, her eyes narrowing on the door that had the global symbol of Healing on it. Izuku had training, he had been training to be a hero since he was a kid, but it wasn't supposed to go like this. He wasn't supposed to see combat of any kind until he was ready until Inko thought he was ready.

But now less than a week into high school, Izuku had nearly given his life to protect his friends and classmates, because the teachers weren't up for the job. They failed to protect their student, to protect her son, her Izuku.

Having reached the door, Inko raised her hand to knock but it opened before she had a chance. Seeing no one standing in the doorway, Inko looked down and found Principal Nezu looking up at her. "Mrs. Midoriya, I am not surprised you ended the call, nor that you arrived in such a timely manner." Principal Nezu said.

"Show me," Inko said, in a strong voice that left no room for argument.

Principal Nezu gave a slow nod and said while moving out of the way, "You might not like what you see?"

Inko didn't care, what she was imagining couldn't be worse than what reality was. Stepping into the room, Inko saw her adopted son's body laying on a bed. His entire body was covered in gauze, leaving only his tattered pants as the only article of clothing.

Inko suddenly remembered Eri, so she quickly crouched down and blocked Izuku from her view. It had only been four months since Eri had been rescued and while she was doing much better physically, her mental state was still fragile. She was okay around Izuku and had come to understand Inko, more of necessarity than anything else. But she still had nightmares, that had her screaming in the night. She was afraid of birds and couldn't handle loud noises on the TV.

If Eri saw Izuku in such a state, it could undo all the hard work. She couldn't even become worse, even to the point she might not trust Izuku any more. So Inko protected her daughter.

But Inko wasn't done so she covered Eri's ear, even using her quirk to create a telekinetic barrier over Eri's ears. She then turned to Principal Nezu and said, "What kind of hero school are you running, that a group of villains are able to break in and attack a class of students? To come in and hurt my son.

Principal Nezu was quiet for a few moments. He had an answer from the beginning but he learned that he took a few moments to answer, it appeared that he was thinking about his answer and others took more of it with more empathy.

"Little comfort may come from these words. But I am truly sorry for how this school has taken inaction this year. It was even your son that informed us about the destruction of the gate. His belief that it was a warning of some kind. A warning that I as the Principal of this school didn't not properly heed. I did nothing to paper for the possibility of an organized attack on this school. A decision that led to your son being forced to step in and protect his fellow students from the harms of villains. For that I am truly sorry."

Inko's eyes narrowed on Principal Nezu and stared him down, "You tell your inactions of the past, but haven't started your actions for the future."

Principal Nezu wasn't one who felt fear that easily. His quirk not only gave him supper intelligence but excellent control over his emotions as well. And all that he had experienced turned him into a person who didn't fear much from the beginning. And being surrounded by some of the strongest people in the world on a daily basis could make one feel untouchable. Yet Principal Nezu, as Inko's eyes bore into his soul, he had never wanted to run and hide as much as he wanted to right now. "Mrs. Midoriya, I can promise UA will look to its inaction of the past to better prepare for the future. To begin, we will redesign our security to make it better than before."

Inko calmed down a bit, forcing herself to, as panic and worry wouldn't solve the problem. She was about to ask to see her son's injuries when a knock came from the door. In unison, everyone in the room turned to look and saw Mareo leaning against the door frame, with a cigarette in his mouth. "That may be so, but I'm sure the HPSC would like to have a conversation you with those possibilities. Perhaps a discussion of whether you still hold the ability to protect those under your tutelage." Mareo then blew out brown smoke from his mouth.

"Sir this is a medical area and a school, you are not allowed to smoke." Recovery Girl said as she stood upright in her chair.

"Forgive me, something I forget appearance can be deceiving to those who do not know," Mareo said, as he tapped out his cigarettes against his palm, the light from it immediately disappeared. Mareo then threw the unlit cigarette into a trash bin.

"I am pleased to meet you, by what name may I call you?" Principal Nezu asked.

"Fumiko Mareo and I'm an old friend of the Midoriya household," Mareo said. Principal Nezu showed no surprise over meeting the man who was written down as the leader of Project Velocity. The document could lead anyone to believe that Mareo was a man who cared for the family and the circumstances were more favorable, Principal Nezu might have tried to get more information about the program. But right now Izuku's health was the only thing that mattered, "So you'll have to forgive me, as when I heard about an attack happening on UA grounds and the involvement of Class 1-A, I had to rush over."

Inko didn't question how Mareo learned about the attack, He was employed by the HPSC and dealt with secrets and information. Yet to come here and openly reveal his connection to Izuku, was an unnecessary risk. Perhaps he was getting mellow in his older age.

"Midoriya will most likely not wake up for a few days." Recovery Girl paused, then shifted in her chair to get a better look at Inko, "Mrs. Midoriya, your son fought against two extremely powerful opponents, all to protect his friends. But the injuries he sustained to achieve that goal, even with my quirk, some of the damage might be permanent. At the moment it's unknown if such injury will affect his ability to be a pro hero."

"Can you show me?" Inko said, but not moving away from Eri. Principal Nezu noticed, what a horrible way for a young sister to see her older protective brother. That would haunt her for the rest of her life. Principal Nezu walked over and put a hand on Inko's shoulder and then looked at Eri and asked if she wanted to be a pro hero like her brother.

Though Inko was particularly fond of Principal Neuz right now, she appreciated it. So she stood up and walked over to her son, "Please show me."

"The biggest injury your son received was given to him by who we believe to be the leader of the attack. A man the student identified as a man who goes by Shigaraki. We don't fully understand his quirk, but we believe it caused decay damage to your son's right arm. It destroyed the skin in patches all over his right skin, revealing the muscle tissue underneath. With your son's quirk, we believe this damage may effected it in some way." Recovery Girl said as she undid the gauze that was tightly around Izuku's arm. This revealed a small portion of Iuzku's arm that had cracks all over it. The skin broke apart and the muscle tissue was on full display.

Inko took in a hollow breath as she recalled all her training and the different injuries that were common in the field. Seeing all the damage Inko could almost map the order in which it occurred. And from what Inko could see some of the torn muscle had occurred after his skin was decayed. Both Principal Nezu and Recovery Girl had said Izuku had fought until everyone was safe. So how long had Izuku continued to fight after his arm's skin had been decayed, "And the other?"

Recovery Girl was quiet for a moment as she rewrapped the gauze around Izuk's arm, but then moved towards Izuku's eyes, "Report have your son taking a hit form the creature known as Nomu. we believe that when his visor was broken, cuasing it's glass cut deeply into his left side, going from his eye to his ear. It completely destroyed your son's left eye. When fully healed, he will be able to tell the difference between light and dark, but even that is optimistic." Recovery Girl said.

"May I see?" Inko asked. Recovery girl nodded and undid the head wrapping. Inko looked into Izuku's left eye. It still had blood inside, but it was clear that it had turned into a cloudy white showing the damage to it. Then to the side of it, was a long scar that disappeared into his ear, "Oh Izuku."

"Mrs. Midoriya." Principal Nezu began but stopped at everyone noticed movement coming from Izuku's chest.

HEY KIRA HANABUSA: :)

This chapter we get to see how Kaina's life has gone within Tartarus and then she learns about the attack how her son nearly gave his life to safe his classmates. And how all she can see are the horrible possibilities that will come if he somehow makes it out alive.

And then Inko receives words and has flashback to the last time she lost a family member. Causing her to nearly lose it as she rushed to UA to see her son.

Next time: Is Izuku alive? If he is, will be able to continue to be a hero, or will his injuries will so severe that he has to be transferred out into generals.

Next Chapter: ONNICHAN!

In all honestly while I'm happy with what I got within the chapter, I feel like I didn't hit the emotional notes as hard as I could have. This will most likely be a chapter I revise in the near future to better show the emotions that Inko and Kaina feel.

Beyond that, Reivew and tell me what you think.
