Alright for a bit of a light hearted chapter. Mainly the idea behind this chapter came from a YouTube short I had seen like ages ago. Yet I can't seem to be able to find it. So if any of your recognize it and able to find it, message me. I can't waste another hour looking for it.
Beyond that this chapter shows how much of brothers Izuku and Bakugo are.
Also Venom Spirit - Thank you Principal Nezu.
Always I do not own MY HERO ACADEMIA or any of their characters.
With that, let's start off with a bang.
Within the craziness of getting into UA, the attack of the League of Villains at the Unforeseen Stimulation Joint and now learning Eri's quirk could be a ticking time bomb. Once that had been created by a villain who wanted to erase quirk from the world, which in the end might erase humanity from the world. It was easy to lose track of items that could be deemed unimportant. Picking up eggs from the store, getting an oil changed in your car, or even remembering to pick up a gift for your friend's birthday party.
Yet even among all the chaos, Izuku hadn't forgotten about birthday pranks. Ever since Bakugo's 15th birthday, Izuku had been working on next year's. April 20, was his best friend's birthday and now Izuku had an audience for this prank and he was going to make it one that won't soon be forgotten.
The previous night after Eri had gone to bed, Izuku stayed up to make sure every time was in place and ready to go. Filling up two water bottles and making sure the spark ignitor was in one of the caps and won't fall out. So when he woke up in the morning on April 20th, he had a big smile on his face. While he was excited about the celebrations after school, cake and ice creams were something to always look forward to, he was more looking forward to giving Bakugo his birthday prank.
Quickly getting dressed, Izuku grabbed all the items needed for the birthday prank off of his desk and slipped them into his backpack. Two identical-looking innocent water bottles, both filled with a clear liquid. The only differentiating appearance was one of them had a spark ignitor attached to the cap with two small wires hanging right above the liquid. Along with the gift that was customary to give after the prank was finished.
Zipping up his backpack, Izuku shouldered it and then headed downstairs. He walked into the dining room grinning like a madman. Finding a plate that already on the table for him, Izuku sat down and began to eat. As Izuku ate, Inko saw the gleam in her son's eyes, causing her to ask, "What are the rules for birthday pranks?"
She had almost forgotten it was Katsuki's birthday. Thank goodness for phone reminders, though luckily she already had Katuski's gift wrapped and she had gotten the ingredients to make dorayaki. Yet while she had forgotten, she was sure Izuku had been counting down the days.
Izuku swallowed the bite in his mouth and then said, "Anything that doesn't leave a permanent scar is okay."
"And what does that mean, specifically?" Inko asked as she took a sip of coffee. Normally in everyday life, she would call her son an angel. He never back-talked or got in trouble, but when it came to birthday pranks, there was no other way to describe how he acted besides devilish. Every year his pranks pushed the envelopes further and further and one of these years, he was going to go too far. A good sign of that was him making preparations late in the night after he thought everyone else had gone to bed. That meant he didn't want anyone to do what he was doing, most likely Inko since he was bending a rule in some way.
"No attacks on the personal level, so no insecurities, phobias or anything that causes a panic attack. Any object used within the prank can't be illegal or used illegally and must have been acquired through legal means. Finally, due to year six, all pranks must occur an hour before the evening celebrations begin." Izuku said as he finished his breakfast.
"And what's the last rule?" Inko asked as she noticed that Izuku had skipped over a rule. Inko then turned to Izuku and said, "If you don't follow the last rule, your prank isn't allowed to happen."
"I know what the last rule is," Izuku said, as he grabbed his empty plate and brought it to the kitchen sink. He washed it off, and then put it on the bottom of the dishwasher. He turned around to head out, only to find the refrigerator door open, while Inko came around from the other end, trapping Izuku at the sink.
"If you know what the last rule is, then why are you so hesitant to say it? Is it perhaps because you know your prank breaks it?" Inko questioned.
Izuku pushed on the open refrigerator door but found it wasn't closing. He sighed as grabbed some paper towels and then wiped his hands off. He then threw the crumpled-up paper towel in the trash bin under the sink. He then turned to Inko and said, "Under no circumstances, is one allowed to use their quirk to directly inflict damage upon the recipient."
Inko looked her son in the eyes because while he knew what that rule meant, that didn't mean he was going to follow it. Yet Izuku didn't break eye contact, so Inko sighed "Fine."
Inko released her quirk from the refrigerator door and stepped back so Izuku could head out to school. After grabbing his backpack from the table, Izuku headed out to the garage. After slipping on his helmet, Izuku started his bike and backed it out. Once he was out on the street he hit the button to close the garage door and then shifted into first great to head out to pick up Ochaco.
Coming around the corner, Izuku saw Ochaco was waiting for him. Cruising up, Izuku pulled up right in front of her and stopped. Izuku gave her an off-putting smile while she slipped on her helmet and got onto the back of the motorcycle. The speaker cracked to life and Ochaco's voice came through, "April 20th. So are you going to tell me what this insane plan of yours is, or are you going to keep me guessing?"
Izuku laughed as he turned his motorcycle around and headed towards UA, "Nope."
"No, as you aren't going to tell me, or no you won't keep me guessing." Ochaco questioned, really hoping it was the second option.
"As in, I won't tell you and you'll have to keep on guessing." Izuku said they rolled through an intersection.
"Come on, I can't tell what is stressing me out more, the Sports Festival or this stupid prank of yours." Ochaco said. From the start of UA Bakugo was becoming known as the student of Class 1-a that caused collateral and property damage. So if the prank ticked him off, which it most likely is going to do, and he was going solely after Izuku, there was a high chance that other students of Class 1-a were going to be caught in the crossfire.
"And I've been telling you not to worry about it. Kacchan knows it is coming and he knows where it's coming from. So he won't act irrationally, and one of the rules is not to injure anyone. Pranker, prankie or bystanders." Izuku said.
"And how often do you and Bakugo adhere to these rules?" Ochaco asked.
"The only time the rules were broken was by Bakugo last year." Izuku said and was one of the reason Izuku was going so far in his prank this year.
Ochaco let out a defeated sigh and dropped her head, "Can you at least tell what you are going to pull the prank." If she knew when the pranking was happening, then at least she would be able to distance herself from between Izuku and Bakugo. Preferably on the other side of UA's campus.
Izuku laughed then decided to give Ochaco some space, "Fine. It's happening during the last period."
Ochaco paused as she let that sink in, "Hold on, so not only are you going to prank Bakugo, in front of the entire class, but in front of Eraserhead and All Might. Mr. Grumpy, always looking for any excuse to expel a student."
"Yep," Izuku said, with absolutely no fear in his voice, as if he wasn't about to be expelled. Mr Aizawa didn't seem to be the type to find such an activity funny in his class. As they drove up the hill to UA, Ochaco debated how much time in detention Izuku was going to get.
After parking and heading to Class 1-A, Izuku calmly sat down in his chair, while Ochaco kept tossing nervous glances over to Izuku. Their frequency increased after Bakugo walked in and he looked over at Izuku, looking for any signs of the incoming pranks. Yet Izuku sat the same way he always did. Class soon started, but Bakugo struggled to stay focused as he kept most of his attention on Izuku. He was fully expecting Izuku to tell the entire class it was his birthday. That could work as a prank as there were a few members of class 1-a that wouldn't leave him alone after learning it was his birthday.
Yet Izuku did absolutely nothing. He made no lowball comments, or words with hidden intent that planted the idea that it was Bakugo's birthday. Even when Bakugo made a comment and let himself be openly teased by Kirishima and Sero, Izuku didn't take the bait. The only odd thing to happen throughout the day was whenever Bakugo found Izuku staring at him, Izuku would gain a very large amused smile that wouldn't go away until Bakugo looked away.
The whole day Bakugo could feel his blood pressure was through the roof, possibly getting up into the range of Vlad King's. Birthday pranks had started with Bakugo getting Izuku with silly string but it didn't become a tradition until Izuku got him back by strand wrapping him to his bed. Even years later Bakugo still didn't know how Izuku worked quietly enough that Bakugo didn't wake up in the middle of the night. Yet this year so far, Izuku hadn't done a simple thing and honestly it was starting to freak Bakugo out.
Yet Bakugo couldn't find it within himself to beg, to beg Izuku to just get the prank over. If he did, then Bakugo would only see it as admitting defeat, something he would never do. Then finally hero class came. After getting dressed in UA's gym uniform, Kirishima approached him and asked if he was willing to train with him. Bakugo tossed a glance over to Izuku's locker, only to see he was already gone. Bakugo then looked back at Kirishima, after the stressful day his best friend was giving him, he was more than happy to let loose on someone who could tank his explosions.
As Bakugo walked into the gym, he looked at the clock on the wall. The rules of the birthday pranks had so the pranks had to be done an hour before celebrations began. The beginning of celebrations was marked by the lighting of the candles, something Mitsuki didn't plan to do until 6:00. Meaning Izuku had until 5:00 to pull whatever prank he had set up. School got out at 3:15 and if Bakugo could get away from UA, he knew how to lose Izuku for two hours.
More importantly, that was the one rule Izuku adhered to the most, meaning the prank would have to be done during the last period. And Izuku was someone who was willing to face any kind of consequence, so he didn't fear being put in detention for a month or two. So the whole period Bakugo kept an eye on Izuku, yet the entire period Izuku trained with Ochaco, sparring with her in judo and didn't once appear to be playing anything.
Then as class was beginning to wind down, Bakugo began to think that Izuku's prank wasn't a surprise. Maybe Izuku's prank was not pulling any at all. The whole day he had been acting strange, not having anything planned. The only thing that caused Bakugo to break was his mind, to overthink, and to overcomplicate things. Bakugo would never admit it, but that would be the one more sinister and stressful prank Izuku could play. But then it happened.
As members of Class 1-A were doing their cold downs, Bakugo was wiping the sweat from his neck with a towel. As Bakugo pulled the towel down, he lifted his head to start looking for his water bottle when Izuku suddenly called out, "Hey Bakugo, catch."
Bakugo looked up in enough time for Izuku to throw him a water bottle. Bakugo was immediately put off, as Izuku had called him by his actual name. something Izuku never did unless they were in the middle of aifhgt and he needed to get Bakugo's attention. Otherwise it was always Kacchan. So as soon as Bakugo caught the water bottle, he looked it over and spotted the modified cap with the electric sparker.
The sparker was positioned to ignite whatever liquid Izuku had put in as Bakugo poured it over his head. Bakugo looked up and saw Izuku unscrewing the cap from a second water bottle and then bringing it up to his lips.
"You're starting to slip Midoriya." Bakugo said as he clicked the electric sparker, "So what, was I supposed to pour this all over me, then you ignite my sweat? So what's in here? And give me the other bottle," Bakugo said, tossing the bottle back to Izuku. Izuku caught it and tossed the regular-looking bottle to Bakugo.
"Nail polish remover," Izuku said as Bakugo caught the second bottle. He looked it over and finding nothing wrong with it, opened the bottle and poured it over his head. It ran down his hair and his neck, cooling off his upper body. Bakugo then looked over and saw Izuku opened the first bottle and took a drink.
Bakugo's mind backtracked at the sight of this. Izuku said that the bottle contained Nail polish remover. That was supposed to be the bottle he had initially thrown at Bakugo, the one he had just drank from. Yet Izuku had taken a large sip, and that amount of nail polish remover was going to destroy his organs. Bakugo then paused as the smell hit his nose, it did not smell like sweat or water.
As he recognized the smell from his mother's makeup kit, Bakugo looked back at Izuku. Who was lowering the bottle, he then smirked and transformed his arm, "I want to hear you scream Kacchan."
Bakugo looked at Izuku and realized his mistake too late. As Izuku fired off a shot, with his quick reflex, Bakugo began to move out of the way. He would normally have used his quirk to dodge, but an explosion would burn the nail polish remover. That meant the bullet narrowly missed Bakugo, but just as he thought he was safe, he noticed the bullet Izuku had shot was a red one and it was beginning to glow. Bakugo began to scream as the heat jumped from Izuku's bullet to the nail polish remover that had soaked Bakugo's shirt and mixed with the sweat from his hands. Once the nail polish remover caught fire, it quickly spread to his arm and ignited the nitroglycerin sweat of his quirk.
And since he had been stressed all day and been training with Kirishima, Bakugo had worked up a large amount of sweat around his hand. So as soon as his hand caught fire, Bakugo became ground zero of an explosion of miniature mushroom cloud that shook the entire building. As the windows popped open and the AC kicked in, the smoke began to clear the building, revealing Izuku as the only one left standing as everyone else had been thrown to the ground.
"Bro, I think you killed Bakugo," Kirishima said as everyone saw Bakugo sitting on the ground, a small crater around him. He was blankly staring into the space before him as if his mind had broke.
"No, not quite," Izuku said as he began walking towards a black Bakugo. Everyone was prepared for Bakugo to bite Izuku's head off, some even thinking literally. Yet as Izuku got close he held out the decoy bottle and a towel, "Happy birthday, Kacchan."
Bakugo calmly looked up at his friends, as if he was still trying to make sense of everything. Then Bakugo growled as his eyes went sharp again, he swiped the towel from Izuku's hand. He then began rubbing his face, revealing he was only covered in smoke and wasn't burned. He spat out a bit of smoke off his tongue and then took a small drink.
"A$$hole," Bakugo said, as he finished wiping his face took the bottle of water and poured it over his face. As the water poured down his body, Bakugo's skin and clothes slowly returned to their normal colors, "I thought we agreed on no quirks, that's rule #5."
"Yeah, but I had to get you back from last year." Izuku said. Bakugo swiped at Izuku, but Izuku easily dodged the attack, before producing another towel and handing it to Bakugo. Bakugo swiped the towel and wiped the smoke off of his face, then looked up and saw Izuku holding out his gift. It was a pair of motorcycle headlights, with the blub being orange and some black material over them. Bkaugo held an eye up to one of them and saw the holes in the material spelt out in Japanese Kanji of his hero name, "Are they legal."
"I've got the button at my house to flip the name up and down." Izuku said as Bakugo looked at the other headlight, "Sorry they couldn't get the full name on them."
Bakugo looked them over and with a grin asked, "Where in the world did you get these? I mean these have to be costume made."
"Mareo got me in contact with a car detail shop in America, and they accepted the challenge. They work perfectly," Izuku said, as he began to wipe sweat off his forehead.
"I'm going home and installing these right now." Bakugo said, as he picked himself up and walked out of the gym. Izuku walked back to the rest of the class, as all their jaws dropped.
"What was that?" Kirishima asked. Everyone was extremely confused about how both of them had been acting completely different from how they normally were.
"Oh that, that was a birthday prank. Every year on each other's birthday, Kacchan and I will pull a prank on each other sometime during the day. Then after the prank is over we give the other their birthday gift, We've been doing it since we were about 6," Izuku explained as he took another sip from his water bottle.
"Cool, but what exactly did you do to Bakugo? How did he come out of that uninjuried?" Sero asked, as everyone was still looking at the door Bakugo had just happily walked out of.
"Oh nail polish remover, it's a flash burn chemical, meaning it burns quickly. Mix that with the nitroglycerin that Bakugo's quirk creates and you have a flash fire strong enough to do… well you all just saw the result." Izuku said, and then the space behind Izuku dropped in temperature.
"Midoriya." Mr Aizawa's cold voice came from behind Izuku. Class 1-A could see Izuku's smile falter a bit but it didn't fully disappear. He was expecting this, but Mr Aizawa sounded colder than expected. "While it is good to keep good morale between students, I would have preferred you informed me beforehand."
Izuku turned around and bowed, "Sorry Sir. In the future you will receive a notice of future pranks. From Kacchan or myself."
Everyone paused at that. Izuku had done his prank, so only Bakugo's should be left. Why had Izuku included himself in that? "What do you mean by yourself? You just did your only prank of the year?" Shinsou asked.
Izuku looked over at the class and said, "You thought Kacchan was my only friend in class." Everyone took a small step back from Izuku if he was planning pranks for all of them and they were on the same level as the one he had just pulled. Once again Ochaco was happy that her birthday was at the end of the year, "So Aoyama that would make you next."
Everyone looked at Aoyama, whose sparkly personality didn't shine as brightly for a few seconds. It didn't help that Izuku's smile had taken a devilish turn. He then laughed and walked out of the gym, while posing the question to the class for them to decide whether or not he was serious. Izuku kept his devilish grin as he waited for Ochaco and then drove her home. He still had it on as he walked into the house, making Inko question him about how the prank had gone.
Izuku happily retold the story as he hadn't broken any rule. Even though he had used his quirk, it hadn't directly harmed Bakugo, in a way it was his own quirk that had done that. That night Izuku, Inko and Eri went over to the Bakugo house and enjoyed celebrating Bakugo's sixteenth birthday. Mitsuki had Izuku recount every detail of his prank on her son. The entire time she was laughing her head off, telling Izuku that she wished he had gotten a photo of Bakugou right after the prank.
The rest of the evening was filled with the sound of joy and celebration.
While the prank had been mostly harmless Bakugo had gotten over it quickly, once he installed his new headlights. He turned and found they worked perfectly. But that feeling disappeared after he was relentlessly teased by Mina, Sero, Denki and Kirishima about not sharing with them that it was his birthday.
Luckily Bakugo's birthday soon was out of everyone's mind, as Class 1-A continued to train in preparation for the Sports Festival. They pushed themselves further, and better themselves. Then the Sunday before the Sports Festival, class representative Izuku sent out a text to remind everyone to get a good night's rest. Everyone followed that advice, except for Izuku himself. He was struggling to go to sleep, so he had snuck out his window and was lying on the roof. The main stress point for everyone for the Sports Festival was making themselves look good, internships were happening right afterwards.
The different events of the festival were how they would get big-name pro heroes to send their internship offers. Izuku had these worries and more, as it wouldn't just be the pro heroes views he would have to worry about. Tomorrow was going to be a big turning point in his future career, not playing at all was not an option. For the next 24 hours, he would need to play his cards close to his chest.
A knock came from his window, interrupting his thoughts, and then a few moments later Ochaco floated out the window. She rose to be on the same level as Izuku, " Hi, what are you doing up so late?"
"I had some worries in my mind, I couldn't sleep. What about you?" Izuku asked as he sat up.
"Same. Mind pulling me in, so I don't have to stay floating," Ochaco said, holding her hand out. Izuku laughed as he reached out and grabbed her hand. He pulled her in over the roof allowing her to deactivate her quirk. Once she did, she landed softly on the roof and laid down on her back, Izuku joining her to look up at the night as the stars appeared, "I guess my fascination with space started because of my quirk, but what about you?"
"I don't know. It just, when I saw young, whenever I feel stressed I would stay up late and stare at the starry night stars. I would just look up and imagine the world around me, and my stress would start to melt away. It always calms me, but I guess I haven't done it in a while." Izuku said, as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, allowing his body to relax a little.
"Are you stressed about the Sports Festival tomorrow?" Ochaco asked.
"Like you won't know." Izuku said, as he placed a finger against his heart, then traced to his jaw then down to his hand. Looking up at the stars, Izuku felt his mind become more clear, he was beginning to see what he needed to do.
"Why, you're the most trained in our class. I have no doubt that you're going to make it to the third event." Ochaco said as she rolled to her side, allowing her to look at Izuku.
"You don't have faith that I can win?" Izuku laughed, a smile finally appearing on his face. Having Ochaco by his side over the past few months reminded him why he was fighting so hard to prove himself.
"I would say yes, but then neither of us would be humble," Ochaco said, jabbing her elbows into Izuku's side. Izuku flinched, causing both to laugh, "Now are you going to tell me why you're really out here. Usually you would be spending a night like this with your mom and Eri, but you're up here for some reason."
"Are they the reason you came over? My mom called you and asked you to come over," Izuku said.
"She did call me. Told me you disappeared after dinner and won't come down stairs even when Eri called for you. So what are you doing up here?" Ochaco asked.
"I couldn't look Eri in the eyes." - Izuku paused with a deep breath then continued - "You remember that late night call I got from Ilda. That night I started training you in Judo."
"Yeah. You had asked him to look into his brother's contact. The Yakuza Member that knew about the night you rescued Eri. What about him?" Ochaco asked as she looked at Orion's belt.
"I've been meaning to have a talk with him since that night. I need to know if Eri is in danger," Izuku said, as he sat up. He couldn't look Eri in the eyes, because tonight might be the night he took his first life. If the Yakuza member knew too much about Eri, then in the moment Izuku might decide it was best not for the Yakuza Member to spill any more secrets.
"Why tonight of all nights. Why not after the Sports Festival?" Ochaco asked.
Izuku smiled at Ochaco's innocence. "After the Sports Festival, there's going to be a lot of cameras on our class. It's going to be hard to do what I need to do…. I shouldn't have put it off for this long, but I did and I have to live with it." Izuku stood up and walked to the edge of the roof. Ochaco walked for him to climb down to his window, but he simply jumped off the roof.
"Midoriya!" Ochaco screamed as she crawled to the edge. She was expected to see him lying on the ground, with a broken leg. But he was standing perfectly fine, simply brushing off some dirt from his black shirt. Ochaco then noticed that Izuku was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. His hair was even dyed black and done up in a ponytail, "Midoriya wait."
Ochaco cancelled her gravity and floated down to the ground. Once her feet hit the ground, she deactivated her quirk and put a hand on Izuku's shoulder, "You're going to go look for him."
"I'm sorry Uraraka, but I need to know if Eri is safe. He knows what happened that night. Ilda mentioned that Jona Koji knew about a little girl with white hair being rescued. Most people won't choose to focus on that, but for some reason he has. That means he most likely knows something about Eri. I need to learn what that is." Izuku said as he slipped onto his bike that was waiting for him. Another thing Ochaco had failed to notice, as in the short time she had personally known him, Izuku never parked his bike in the driveway overnight.
Ochaco stepped in front of Izuku's motorcycle, pressing four of her fingers onto the windshield. If she needed to do so, she would use her quirk on the bike so Izuku couldn't use it, "What you would be doing is vigilante work. It's illegal and could land you in jail."
Izuku looked at Ochaco's hand but didn't listen as he turned the keys while holding down a button. So as the engine turned over, it was very quiet, barely a purr, "Uraraka, out of everyone in Class 1-A, you know what I did to recuse Eri. That was vigilante work as well. I broke into a building, attacked people, and sent someone to the ER out of anger. Had a shootout on a public highway, endangering the lives of those around me. If it is to protect Eri, then I don't care if I'm sent to juvenile hall."
Ochaco looked Izuku in the eyes. They looked determined, the same as they always did when it came to protecting Eri. Izuku didn't care how long it took to find this Koji, he was going to find him and ask him what he knew about Eri. Ochaco sighed and took her hand off the windshield, then stepped off to the side, "Fine, but I'm coming with you."
Ochaco then slipped onto the motorcycle behind Izuku. Izuku turned around with a confused look on his face.
"What, no, no, no. You are not coming along. My mom would kill me, your parents would kill me. If you got injured or got caught helping me. I know how to lose a tail and escape the police, and have my bodyguard license that covers my mom and Eri. I don't want to have to worry about all that and keeping you safe at the same time." Izuku said. Ochaco had to stop herself from revealing that she knew to do that too and she too had her bodyguard license. Izuku looked over his shoulder and saw the look on Ochaco's face and sighed.
"I know how to take care of myself. Eri called me her older sister, I want to protect her too. Besides, if we get caught, I'll just say I'm your hostage." Ochaco said.
"Not helping," Izuku said as he backed out of the driveway and onto the road. He couldn't believe he was going along with this idea. He kicked the bike into first and drove away from his home, knowing no matter what happened this was going to be the last normal night he would have.
It was an hour-and-a-half drive to the Wasukako prefecture. By the time they arrived, the moon was high in the sky and with it being a half moon, provided just enough light for Izuku to see through the darkness while staying hidden with his lights off. Izuku directed his bike into a parking garage, where he paid the fee for two hours, then drove up to the top floor. He got off and walked over to the wall, where Ochaco followed him.
"So how are we supposed to find Koji in this city? He could be anywhere and we're just supposed to magically stumble upon him," Ochaco said.
"Ye, of little faith. I had an old friend pull out Koji's files and it showed that he frequents the ramen restaurant across the street," Izuku said. He stared down at said restaurant, not needing a pair of binoculars since he had enhanced eyesight.
"By old friend, I assume you mean the mysterious person that trained you. That guy that was in Recovery Girl's office after Eri healed you." Ochaco said, as she leaned against the wall and looked up at the night sky.
"You're starting to catch on," Izuku said, then held a finger up to his lips to motion Ochaco to be quiet. Izuku continued to watch the restaurant for the next 45 minutes, and ten minutes into Ochaco sat down and leaned against the cement wall. Five minutes later, Izuku heard Ochaoc's breath start to slow down, but not to rate where she could be considered asleep. Izuku shook his head and went back to watch the restaurant. People came and went, but none were who Izuku was looking for.
Until the door swung up and Izuku spotted him, "Now come on, he just walked out and is headed down the street." Izuku said, walking away from the wall. Ochaco quickly woke up and as she stood up, looked down at the street and saw a man that could matched Koji's description. Yet with barely any light, Ochaco couldn't see any of the man's features, though she didn't have any time to question this, as Ochaco had to catch up to Izuku.
He walked over to the elevator and called it up. As they waited, Ochaco asked, "Won't it have been better to take the stairs? We could lose him before we get to the ground floor."
"Uraraka, the man we are pursuing, has a bad leg and walks with a limp and has lived a life of crime for a long time. He knows how to look over his own shoulder, if we took the stairs we would arrive to intercept sooner, yes but then he would have more chance to spot us. This way we arrive to intercept closer to the time he arrived at the point of interception." Izuku said as they rode the elevator down. Once it arrived at the ground floor, Izuku calmly walked out, with Ochaco in tow.
And that's prank wars. For the time being I only have Bakugo prank for Izuku's birthday and if I remember the birthday for the rest of Class 1-A, it not going to be anything elaborate like the nail polish remover flash fire. And while I have planned Bakugo prank, I don't really have an idea of what he going to do. So if any fo you have a suggestion, post it.
Beyond that Izuku is have to made up lost time to make sure Eri is still protected. and that start by talking to a eye witness of the rescue.
Next Time Izuku talked to Koji to see what rumors he been spread.
