Fay- Ann Darrow's daughter- hadn't eaten in a long time and she was hungry… that was when she spotted some apples. Fay, out of desperation, waited until the person manning the apples was busy and she discreetly grabbed one. Unfortunately for her, the person manning the apples noticed this, stopped her and demanded payment. Fay tried to get away from the person manning the apples; but, it was to no avail.
Out of nowhere, Carl Denham came by with payment for the apple. He claimed that the payment was Fay's; but, Fay knew that she had not dropped any money.
