"You had to work?" Ruka asked.

"This looks like a fun group. What? Class hasn't started yet?"
"Who the hell… are you?" Aidou questioned.
"Who the hell?" She repeated and then jumped from the desk and onto the students' tables until she got to him and held his face in her hands, "Hey, boy… you think you can talk that way to me?"
Suddenly, I felt like I was suffocating. I stood up to call attention to the rules of no fighting allowed on school grounds when Kaname spoke up.
"You should introduce yourself first, Maria Kurenai."

"Yuuki and Zero skipped class before and I'm not skipping. I am fetching! Like a dog. Woof!" I have no idea why I added that last bit. I was annoyed about the conversation to begin with when she's getting away.
"Cassie. I want you to stay away from her."
"I will but I still gotta return her to class. It's my duty as a Prefect." I turned towards the door.
"Cassandra!" I froze in my tracks and turned back. That wasn't Chaotic, that was Senri. I have never heard him raise his voice before, not even during sexy times. Everyone was staring at him because I don't think they heard him yell before either.
I hunched forward as if I was tucking my tail in between my legs and ran back to Senri's side. We began discussing in our heads.
"If Chaotic doesn't want you to be near that girl, neither do I. She doesn't feel right."
"I know, when she got upset at Aidou it felt like she had a pureblood aura."
Senri stopped and stared at me, "how are you able to feel these things?"
"I don't know," I shrugged my shoulders, "it's like when I first got here I could tell that everyone in the Night Class were vampires. Ya know, Kaito has a theory that I'm a descendant of a vampire hunter." I could feel the eyes of our classmates staring at us because of our silent conversation but I ignored them. I could tell Senri was still pissed off at me.
I grabbed his left arm and placed my head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry for causing you stress please don't be upset with me please." He side eyed me before kissing my forehead. Which caused Takuma and some others to coo at us.
"As long as you're not alone with her I'm okay."
As for Maria-san, she never returned to class that night.

Today is Wednesday. I was just training with Takuma when Maria-san came up to us exclaiming that she wanted to check out the school's cafe terrace. Then she giggled and ran towards the front entrance.
"I'm sorry Cassie. I have to watch her." He said while quickly putting his sword away.
I shrugged, "It's okay. C'mon let's go fetch her. If she does get to the school, you'll need my help from the fangirls."
As we set off, we grabbed Aidou who was sitting in the lobby reading a book. Maria-san told him that she was just getting some fresh air. Fresh air my ass.
As we were running on the bridge we watched as she slipped out the gates up ahead. I don't know why the guards let her do that.
"You guys are being slow because of me. Please run and I'll catch up." I managed to breathe out. And just like that in a blink of the eye they were already a quarter of the way there. I appreciated that they were trying to go my speed though. That made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside but I'm also running as fast as I can so that's probably why I feel warm. I laughed at my own joke and kept going.
Once making it onto school grounds, I noticed it was still lunch time. Shit. I haven't bothered looking at the clock. Alex ran up to me as I was searching around and trying to catch my breath.
"Why are you guys out now? Don't y'all ever sleep?"
"Where did you see them go?"
"Well that Idol guy went off with Zero. And Ichijou-san went that way towards the cafe with some Night Class girl. But then the fangirls started chasing him and he had to get separated from the Night Class girl."
Shit, that means I have to go find her by myself. "Thanks Alex."
I began heading towards the terrace area but I could find no one of interest. Sighing to myself, I decided it was better to find Takuma instead. I really don't want to upset Senri. I also really don't want to be alone with her. I never had to put hands on a Night Class student that wasn't my friend. Just imagining that I would have to grab her hand and walk her back to our dorms was enough to make my heart race and chest hurt. What the fuck… I'm about ready to have an anxiety attack about confronting that girl. Remembering back to last night and the suffocating feeling. I only felt that way when danger was near… I gotta find Takuma. I cannot handle Maria-san by myself.
Using my cell phone I called Takuma and demanded that he come to the cafe terrace. By now all the Day Class were back in their classrooms. I was still on the phone with him when I felt a tap on my shoulder. The scream I scrumpt was ear piercing. I turn back to find fucking Maria staring at me with a eerily smile. I placed the phone on speaker and could hear Takuma calling my name.
"Hello Miss Night Class Prefect. I'm ready to go back now." I couldn't help it. I began shaking with anger and I glared at her.
"Oh now you're ready? After the commotion you caused with the Day Class students. Vampires are not allowed outside the Moon Dormitory during the day. There are rules for a reason. You will do your best to remember them." I snarled at her. I was so fucking scared that I couldn't control what I was doing. Also how did she sneak up on me like that?
She gave me a blank stare before smirking, "I see your blood is already spoken for. A shame, really." She turned away from me, "You're just spoiled goods."
I'm going to fucking kill her.
I took a step towards her with cuss words locked and loaded onto my palette ready to start shooting them off at her when Takuma hugged me from behind.
"Let me at her!" I screamed, glaring daggers at the back of her head. Pureblood aura or not she's fucking disrespectful. Yuuki told me last night that she was shy and afraid of the Night Class. The biggest bullshit I have ever heard.
"Cassie, remember what Chaotic and Senri said." Takuma hugged me tighter and at the mention of Senri, I relaxed. I was still pissy, yes, but I wasn't in the fighting mode anymore.
Once he knew that I wasn't going to do anything, he let me go. Aidou met up with us when we were just leaving the school gates. He was silent. The bitch began talking all innocently to Takuma about how she doesn't think the Night Class dormitory is the right setting for her and she had thought that the building the Night Class originally lived in would be a better place for her. Takuma then said that they can go to Kaname when they get back to the dormitory to ask. Other than that discussion, the walk back was dead silent.
When we got back to our dorm, I began walking up the stairs when she called out to me, "Thank you Miss Night Class Prefect!" In this sickly sweet voice. And I began stomping upstairs to tell Chaotic and Senri what had happened.
I had woken up Senri from my bed and brought him over to Chaotic's room where I demanded Chaotic to read my mind. I was still too pissed to talk about anything. Chaotic set up a four way channel so October could be involved too.
"What a fucking bitch" October said, astonished that the new girl would stoop that low.
I looked between the two men, "technically I had Takuma on speaker so I wasn't alone with her. Plus I had no choice for those three minutes."
"Oh don't worry about that, Cassie." Chaotic closed the mind reading channels and got out of my head. "It was uncontrollable. I'm just happy you didn't attack her." He chuckled.
"Thank Takuma for that. He literally saved my ass." I sighed to myself, I'll have to thank him later.
Senri was silent so I poked him in the ribs. "What's on your mind? Your thoughts are silent-"
"You're not spoiled goods. Don't ever think of yourself as spoiled goods, kitten." He cupped my cheek. Meanwhile, October is smacking Chaotic about how cute Senri is being with me.
Ignoring the couple, I placed my hand over his, "Senri, I haven't thought about it that way-"
"Yet."
"I agree with Senri, Cassie. You always took insults straight to your heart. Your parents didn't help you there either." October offered her opinion when it wasn't needed.
I rolled my eyes at her and told her I don't want to talk about my parents. And then I pulled Senri outta the room and into mine.
"The girls are so rowdy because of the ball, I don't want to go down there later."
"How tiresome." He yawned before plopping himself on the bed.
"Do you want me to let you get some more sleep?" I asked as I pulled the covers over him. He pats the bed beside him and I climb in.
"I don't like that girl."
"Well, it sounded like she was going to go to the old dormitory that you guys had. So at least we don't have to worry about her living here." I nuzzled into the crook of his neck and gave it a light kiss before pulling back and laid on my side. I propped myself up on one arm, "so you gonna show me what you got me for the ball?"
He started playing music in his mind to stop his thoughts from showing, "ugh I told you it's a surprise for Friday." He rolled over so his back was facing me. I slipped my hands under his shirt and tried to find a tickle spot. He claims he's not ticklish but I'm determined to find a spot. "You're being naughty. At this rate you're not gonna get the gift that comes with the dress."
I pull him so he's on his back and then straddle him. He's hardcore thinking about clams with googly eyes on them. "Senri-"
"Cassie, I adore you but you're starting to annoy me."
I ducked my head and climbed off him before apologizing. And then I just left the room. When I rounded the corner to head down the stairs, I heard my bedroom door open, I had bells on it, and heard the word 'Shit' being mumbled before the bedroom door closed. I took off running down the steps and out the front door. I didn't mean to annoy him. But now I can see how I behaved and I'm embarrassed about what I had done. I'll just wait outside until switchover.

It was eerily quiet during switchover. No girls showed up, normally I would be overjoyed about this but I was still drowning in my thoughts. I've been beating myself up the past two hours. October's right. I take things to heart too much.
Once the doors opened, I began walking to class waiting for no one. There's no point in waiting to be the last one since there's no girls. Once inside the school, I went to the bathrooms and stared at myself in the mirror. I had stopped crying an hour ago but I'm not going to shed anymore tears. I'm just going to pretend everything is fine. Because everything is fine. It's not like your boyfriend didn't call you annoying or anything. Tears began welling up in my eyes and I blinked them away while turning away from the mirror. Reaching for the door handle, I began playing Linkin Park songs loudly in my mind to drown out my thoughts.
'What if he leaves you?' Another harsher thought crossed my mind. I tried to reason it out because of the love bond. But if you put your mind to it you can leave someone if you're not happy with the relationship; love bond or not. I need to make sure he stays happy in our relationship. Maybe I just need to dim down my emotions? Senri doesn't express much emotion. Maybe I expressed too much.
I gripped the door handle and pulled it open. Remember Cassie, stay calm you got this. I entered the classroom and headed towards Senri and Rima. I began chewing on my bottom lip and I approached the table. I thanked Senri for my books and then headed up towards October and Chaotic. My spot near October was the furthest from Senri even though they're the table directly below us. He's further than three feet from me so I should be safe with my thoughts. From the corner of my eye, Senri looked back at me but I was drawing in my notebook. Remain calm, Cassie. You just need to get through four classes and lunch and then you can go run around outside. Looking around the classroom, I took note that Maria-san didn't show up for class.
Our teacher finally walked in and began teaching but I couldn't focus. The textbook in front of me wasn't registering in my head. I'll read it but I didn't input anything in my brain. Suddenly, it felt like I was floating above my body. Is this disassociating? The table felt like a mountain and that I could fall off at any moment.
'You should just break up with him since you're not mentally all there.' I threw myself back in the chair, causing October to give me a weird look. But I was back on planet earth. Senri's mom isn't mentally well… I'm sure he doesn't want a girlfriend who is also not mentally well. I looked over at Rima. They share the same personality… I still think she would be a better match for my boyfriend. Thinking back to the whole daily affirmations proves he's trying to change me. I'm not worth the burden.
Fighting back tears, I thought about ditching class but I think it would alert too many people who might follow me. Is it bad that I want someone to rescue me from my thoughts? I glanced down at the back of Senri's head wishing that he'd turn around and save me from myself, but he never did.
'See, even he is tired of trying to cheer you up. You're a lost cause.' I shut my eyes tight. A tear fell down my cheek and onto my notebook. When I opened my eyes, Senri was standing in front of me. I would've shat myself if I wasn't harming myself with words. He grabbed my wrist and dragged me down the stairs ignoring the teacher's demands. Great, now I'm causing him to get in trouble because of me. His grip tightened at that thought. Senri dragged me outside so hopefully we'll be without earshot from the others. It would be embarrassing if he broke up with me where the whole class could hear.
"Broke up with you? What the hell are you talking about Cassie?" He lets go.
I put my head in my hands and cover my face, "nothing everything's fine-"
"Oh yeah because this is you when you're fine. You were crying in school! I'm sorry about what I said earlier. I should've never called you annoying. Even October-san said you were sensitive."
Sobbs wrecked my body and I felt like I couldn't breathe. "My emotions are too big, they need to get small or you'll be unhappy." I tried to explain in between breaths but I don't think it went through right.
"Cassie, I love y-your emotions. I don't like these emotions but I love how expressive you are."
'Lies.'
"I am not lying. In your head, tell me all the thoughts that've been crossing your mind."
I shook my head. He'll leave me.
He wrapped his arms around me and promised he'll stay. I began unleashing the most toxic thoughts that have been bugging me the past three hours in my head. Senri stood silently listening to each one and when it was over he pulled back from me and asked me what sandwich I wanted him to make for me.
"What?"
"Well do you wanna go back to class or you want to go home?"
"I don't have a home." it has been a forbidden word ever since I got disowned.
"What do you call the dormitory?"
"The Moon Dormitory." But my thoughts?
"We'll talk about them once you have something to eat. You didn't have breakfast." He grabbed my hand and led me all the way to our dorm.
Stopping by the kitchen, where he proceeded to make two ham and cheese sandwiches, I thought about our past memories here in the kitchen.
"Kitten. You are still my girlfriend, please stop thinking that you're not." There was a slight edge to his voice.
I wrapped my arms around his waist. I was too tired to talk. After making our sandwiches he led me upstairs to my room.
"I'm not hungry, can I eat it later?" He told me I'm allowed to do whatever I want so I placed my plate on my dresser.
Before getting into bed he slipped me out of my uniform and changed me into my pjs. Then we spent the next hour in bed talking about our thoughts and feelings.
"If there's ever a day where I become too much of a mental strain on you, I want you to know I understand why you'll leave me."
"It's not going to happen but I appreciate the thought. I know how to navigate these waters, Cassie-"
"Because of your mom." It was a statement more than a question.
"Yes, because of my mom-"
"I don't want to burden you."
"You care about what effect you have on me. My mom doesn't care. My biological father fucked her up so bad she doesn't know how to take care of herself. She's greedy when she drinks from me. She tells me that I look like my demonic bastard of a father. I learned to live as a doll growing up so I wouldn't worry her." He holds me tighter, "being with you is like a breath of fresh air when I've been stagnant for long. I may not show much emotions, and that might be the root cause for some of your thoughts, but I want you to know that I care deeply about you. Love bond or not. You are always so fun to be around. My friends took to you quite quickly. You pulled me from my boring routine of waking up, going to work, going to school, and going to sleep. Whereas now I don't know what adventure you might bring but knowing that I'm with you, I'll go wherever you go."
I lay on top of Senri, quietly weeping. I didn't know I affected him this much.
"I traveled to a tiny town in America for you. That was before our bond. I wore cat ears around town and at school because of you. You bring a lot of excitement to my stagnant life. You say I'm spoiling you when we go out but I'm trying to repay you back for everything you've done for me. Plus seeing your face eat something you love is adorable."
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him on top of me, "you silly goose, you don't have to repay me for shit. I'm just happy to be spending time with you." I smiled through the tears.
He wiped them away before sitting up, "do you want to see your dress?"
"What about the surprise?"
"It'll be a surprise to you no matter what day I show it to you." Senri took my hand and led me to his bedroom.
Taking out a dress box from under his bed he held it for me as I opened the box and removed the tissues before pulling out this glittery lacey lilac dress. It had tule built in under the skirt of it to give it a more fluffy look to it. It's so pretty and the glitter comes off a little so I'll attack October with my glittery dress. I gave an evil chuckle.
"See you can be so unpredictable, I never know what's going to be your reaction." He chuckled along with me. He then puts the dress back in the box before pulling out a little box. It was a jewelry box.
I pull it open to reveal a silver necklace with a silver heart and a circle in the middle of it. The circle bubbled out. It almost looked like a peephole for a door. Senri took it out of the box for me, turned off the overhead light and took out his phone to turn on the flashlight. Then he took the heart and held it up to the flash where it projected the picture of us in our cat ears making cookies together. I took that picture but I don't remember sending it to him.
"You sent it to Takuma." Oh yeah!
"Senri, you are such a sweetheart. The dress and the necklace are so lovely. I love them so much! How did they do that to the necklace? That's amazing! I wanna show it to October and Chaotic!" I picked him up by his waist and hugged him. Setting him back down I turned my back to him and raised my hair off my neck. "I'm ready!" I cheered.
He unclasped the necklace and then placed it around my neck. The cold metal tickled my neck causing me to giggle. The next thing I knew Senri's lips were against my neck. I began thinking out loud, "is everyone in class or are there a few here?"
"There's a few here." His breath danced across my skin. God damnit the only opportunity to have him bite me went out the window. He kissed my neck before I faced him. Letting go of my hair, I looked down at my pretty necklace admiring how the moonlight reflected off it.
"It's perfect." I whispered, staring into Senri's eyes. "Do you wanna cuddle some more?" He agreed and set the dress box on his table. As we were cuddling, I could feel him concentrating on something so I asked him what was on his mind.
"I'm wondering if we should move to the next step of our relationship, if you're ready that is."
"If we're thinking the same thing, I would say so. Hell I almost did it the last time!" I chuckled to myself.
"Really? I almost did it tonight but you weren't having the best day so I changed it into something else." He stared into my eyes. I'm thinking back to earlier today when he made any reference to what I was talking about but he didn't.
"Here, on the count of three we both say what we mean. One, two, three! Sex."
"Love."
We both gasped at each other. I sat up.
"We can do sex, let's talk about that-" now he's understanding when I pictured the last time we fooled around.
"Oh no no no! We're definitely talking about your thoughts!" He blushed and looked away from my gaze. "I'm not mocking you. I want to hear what you have to say about love. Because clearly I'm over here being a slut thinking about sex when you're over here being a romantic." I giggled as I lay back down next to him.
"When we left the school building I almost told you I loved you but you were in such rough shape I wanted to clear your thoughts before I said something as important as that." He pictured the moment when he stuttered over his words when he was telling me he loved my emotions.
"Oh that makes sense because usually you say 'I like' or something along those lines." I glanced at his bed canopy before making eye contact with him. "I've been wanting to say it too, especially when going to bed at night. My grandparents got me into a routine of saying 'I love you' and a kiss goodnight. So there's been a few times where I almost have told you I loved you because of our kiss goodnight. I just didn't want you to get freaked out if I said it prematurely."
"Yeah, same. I guess it's difficult for me because I wasn't really told as a kid that I was loved." He closed his eyes and sighed. He was thinking about a moment as a child where he told his mom that he loved her and she was too busy to respond to him. "When I say it I mean it and I want the other person to want to mean it too."
"I understand that. I would want someone to mean it as much as I do. Do you want to say it to each other now or wait until it comes up naturally?" I asked, caressing his cheek. His thoughts say that he wants to wait for it to come up naturally again. "Would it be okay if I expressed that I loved you now or do you want me to wait as well?"
He hummed, "you do what comes naturally to you."
I placed my forehead against his, "I love you Senri. I'll make sure every day for the rest of our lives that you'll feel loved." I kissed him.
"If your thoughts ever get out of control again, promise me that'll you'll come find me instead of suffering alone." He kissed me back.
"I promise… oh I'm hungry now can we go eat, Senri?"

It was the night of the ball, classes have been canceled for the Night Class. Which is great cuz I'm running around like a chicken whose head has been cut off.
"OCTOBER, how are you not done with your hair?! It's been two hours!" From what I can tell she French braided her hair and was adding tiny roses in between each fold.
Senri and Takuma are in the lobby. Chaotic tried going to the lobby but October wouldn't let him so he's just standing in the corner cuz he's not allowed to sit down.
"Chaotic can you put my hair in a fancy bun-"
"I will do it once I get these roses in." October snarled. Someone's hangry.
"October… I needed to be at the dance hall 10 minutes ago because I'm a Prefect and have to take care of security."
"Go get Ruka!" she screeched.
I ran outta the room. I already have my dress and accessories on. I just need my hair done. Leaning over the railing, I called out Ruka's name, asking her if she could help me and October. She climbed the stairs and I explained what's been going on the last two hours.
"Ruka, you're the only one I can trust with Cassie's hair. Can you please place that cherry blossom hair stick in her hair before I shock the shit outta her?" October begged, and I started wheeze laughing out of fear.
"Sure, how do you want it styled?" Ruka asked me, but October told her something about a garlic knot? Within ten seconds, she was done. TEN SECONDS… I thanked both of them and took off running. Thank god I'm wearing my school boots because I jumped off the remaining five steps and met up with Senri so we could leave together to the hall.
"I don't mean to be mean or anything but we need to run." I began dragging him towards the gate.
"You hate me." He moaned as he began speed walking with me.
"Oh and I'm the dramatic one?" I glanced back at him and laughed.
"I should've bought her heels so she would have to walk slowly." Senri's thoughts made me laugh so hard.
We showed up to the hall and Zero was standing outside leaning against a pillar.
"Aw Zero, do try to lighten up a bit, buddy," I let go of Senri's hand and walked up to Zero. "You're gonna scare people away with a face like that." I grabbed his collar and straightened up his tie.
Zero rolled his eyes, "What good are you? You're twenty minutes late."
It was my turn to roll my own eyes, "oh I'm sorry, I thought the two of you could handle bringing in the humans."
"You reek of vampires."
"Probably because I sleep with one." I winked at him.
Senri hooked arms with me and pulled me through the entrance, "must you tell everyone our business?" He whispered in my ear.
"I gotta bug Zero every now and then besides landing a catch like you I gotta scream it into the winds!" I joked.
Upon walking in, we ran into Yuuki, "Yuuki-chan!" She had this beautiful white dress that gathered around her nicely and a ribbon choker. "You look absolutely gorgeous!" I grabbed her hand and twirled her around.
"Cassie-chan, you look just as beautiful. I love the glitter on your dress!" She spoke cheerfully but it seemed like she was looking for someone else.
"The Night Class should be here in a few minutes and then you'll find Kaname." I nudged her with my elbow. It was a bit awkward because I had to bend down to do it.
She started stuttering and said she just wanted to thank him for the dress.
"Awww," I cooed at her blushing cheeks, "then it must be serious then. Senri bought my dress and necklace." I placed my hand on his chest. On the outside he looked indifferent but the way he's avoiding my eyes says he's slightly embarrassed from the attention.
As we headed to the back of the hall where I was going to set up my 'security point', Senri and I were having a discussion in our heads.
"I wasn't embarrassed. I was just…" he paused, searching for a word.
"You were just?" I teased, as I touched up his collar. There was nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to touch him in some way. "I like bragging about you. You should get used to it."
"I've been bragged about before."
"As a professional model, yes? But as a boyfriend?"
"No." He looked away.
I lightly touched his chin, bringing him back to look at me. "This shy side of you is very becoming." I snaked my arms around his neck and pressed my body against him. The fact that we were at a ball all disappeared and all that mattered was that this beautiful man in front of me, is mine.
"Uh hate to break you two love birds up but aren't you supposed to be workin?" I turned around to glare at Alex. All the guys were wearing their school uniform for the dance tonight. Each with a rose in their uniform breast pocket.
I playfully shoved him back, "seriously? We were having a moment."
"Your old man told me to remind you to work the floor but have fun." Alex laughed and then stopped once he took a look at Senri, who was glaring at him. "Hey, I'm just the messenger, man."
"I'm gonna go search for my dad real quick guys, I'll be right back." I took off, I wanted to know how exactly am I supposed to have fun if I have to do security. I mean surely I can do both but if I'm gonna be interrupted by spending time with my boyfriend… I'm gonna have a problem.
Moving along the edge of the room, everyone seemed to go quiet. Looking for the source, I saw the Night Class entering. All of the Night Class showed up. The hall looked like Takuma's birthday party, well, minus the men in their uniforms. However, the ladies were breathtaking. It seemed they went all out for tonight.
I made eye contact with Chaotic, him and our small gang of friends were heading towards Senri in the back of the hall. I mouthed at him if he had seen the Headmaster and he pointed towards the outside. I waved back and ran outside to find Zero, Yuuki, and the Headmaster all together.
"Dance with daddy later!" The Headmaster looked towards the students coming in, "she's my daughter!" Blasting Yuuki on full display.
I quickly grabbed hold of the Headmaster before he could run off. "Hey I know we're supposed to be workin the floor and what not but I honestly think you act like you have little faith in the Night Class."
The Headmaster stopped in his tracks and turned around to look strangely at me so I continued, "I spend time with them. A lot of time with them. I don't think anyone here is going to bite any of the Day Class students. I'll work security just fine while also having fun with my friends and boyfriend but you gotta give them more credit for how they're socializing with the Day Class right now."
He smiled brightly at me, "yes compared to last year, they've made more progress with interacting with the Day Class students." We watched from the window, admiring at how many Night Class boys teamed up with the Day Class girls. "Last year, it was more divided. I think placing you in the Night Class was the best stepping stone for humans and vampires to coexist."
"Huh?" I cocked my head to the side, "I didn't have nothing to do with their progress."
"Take more pride in yourself, Cassie-chan." The Headmaster hugged me, "You've done your fair share of befriending them. You're even dating a vampire. Do you think that would've happened if I left you in the Day Class? You've made more progress in months than I have done in a year."
I felt a tear slip from my right eye, "I didn't know you felt that way."
The Headmaster wiped my tears away.
"Sorry I didn't know I was crying. Senri will be worried if he smells my tears." I laughed while carefully wiping the rest away without smearing my makeup.
"Now I do mean it, have fun but just make sure you work the room every now and then. You also look beautiful tonight, dear."
"Thanks dad. Dance with me later as well?"
He said of course and then we went our separate ways.
On my way back to Senri, I saw Yuuki's Class President sneaking up to Ruka just as he was about to ask her the question I intercepted.
"Ruka, looking breathtaking as ever," I lightly guide her and Candy Kain towards our group. Once we were outta earshot I told her about the class president who was sneaking up on her.
"Thanks Cassie, I appreciate it." She smiled at me.
"I'll try my best looking out for you but I still think you should crush his dreams." I gave out an evil laugh which made Candy Kain facepalmed. That only made me laugh harder. I left them alone and then skipped my way to Senri.
"Can we dance now?" Senri was sitting down next to Rima. She looked very pretty as well.
He stretched as he stood up, "I believe I should be asking you that." I take his extended hand and he leads me to the dance floor. I giggled at the sight of Takuma having girls lined up to dance with him.
"After the ball we should sneak out and get some ice cream." I thought in my head as I reestablished the position before with my body pressed against his. He placed his arms around my waist as we danced slowly to the song.
"Do you think we can get away with that?"
"Well we could ask permission… but I like the thought of being sneaky. Maybe we should bring the rest of the gang with us, can't punish us all plus I'll take the heat if necessary."
"The gang?" He repeated.
"Yeah, our group of friends." I laughed "did you want me to list them all off individually each time?"
"I'm just admiring how you bring everyone together." He reached up to tuck a loose strand behind my ear. I then played the memory that I had with the Headmaster ten minutes ago to Senri. "He has a point, you should take more pride in yourself. You're very charismatic, one of the things I love about you."
My heart quickened at the fact he nearly said I love you. I smiled a toothy grin, "and I'm funny. Can't forget that!" He rolled his eyes and sighed. "What? It's true, don't deny my humor." He leaned forward and lightly kissed me. I blushed remembering there's a bunch of people nearby.
"Sometimes when I'm with you, everyone else seems to fade away." He pulled back blushing.
"Earlier, that's what happened to me, well then Alex interrupted us."
Senri showed me that he was about to tell me he loved me when Alex opened his big mouth. That's why he kept glaring at Alex.
I whined and stomped my foot, I'm definitely gonna kick Alex's ass later. "Do you wanna go on the balconies and make out? Err I mean so I can get a better advantage for overlooking the sea of people." I asked out loud, causing a couple next to me to give me a weird look. Before Senri could answer I was already leading him towards the hallway with the staircase.
Once we got up to the balcony, I leaned against the railing. People watching has always been a favorite of mine. I couldn't see Zero or Yuuki. And I watched as Aidou and Candy Kain walked out the hall. I have to admit that I wanted to know where they were going but the fact that Senri tightened his hand around my wrist says that I should stay out of it.
"So you said something about making out?" Senri pulled me closer to him. "I loved it when you pressed your body against mine." Senri had flashed memories of me being naked while pressed against him.
"My, someone is being naughty. Then again I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want your suit off." I entangled my hand in his hair and we began kissing each other. We were against the wall instead of being next to the railing so hopefully no one finds us here. I broke apart so I could breathe. "What's got you all wild up? Surely you don't have an exhibition kink?"
"I don't know what that is but it's the fact your hair is pulled up." I touch my neck.
"Oh so you can see the veins in my neck?"
"I can but I see all my bite marks on display." His eyelids become half lidded. "My bite marks." His eyes glowed red.
"So every vampire down below can tell-"
"That you belong to me."
I blushed deeply and he somehow managed to back me up against the wall. As he began kissing my neck, I quickly did a sweep around the room that I can see from up here. On the doors leading to the terrace it looked as if someone cracked the windows.
"Focus on me." Senri mumbled against my neck which caused me to laugh because I'm ticklish there.
I hugged him tightly, he thought that I was laughing at him so he went to pull back. "Now, now, I'm not laughing at you. You just tickled me-"
"No, someone's coming."
We pulled away from each other and I went closer to the railing to pretend I'm doing my job.
A couple came up. One Day Class girl and a Night Class boy. The guy usually sits in the far back with Ducky and Nao-chan. I don't know his name.
"Haruno-san." Senri mumbled in greeting to the boy. He had light brown hair and slightly tanned skin. The girl had blonde hair. She was one of the girls at switchover that behaved. I swear, we were in the same class at one point.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you two were up here." Haruno-san said, his date hiding behind him slightly.
"No, we were just leaving to go back downstairs. The space is yours." I hooked arms with Senri, "No funny business though." I pointed between the two of them. Mainly keeping my eyes on the guy.
"Yes, Prefect-san." He bowed at me.
We left and rejoined our friends. Takuma pulled Rima and Senri to a dance circle. I used to excuse myself that I had to go on patrol before I could join them.
As I made my way around I noticed that Alex was talking to Ruka near the fruit punch table. Whatever he was saying was making her laugh and then he did the impossible, he held out his hand for a dance. First she refused and turned to walk away but then she turned back to him and took his hand. I stood there with my mouth open. I mean, I saw her dancing with Candy Kain earlier but I'm surprised she's dancing with a human boy. Alex is quite the charmer, I'm definitely going to ask how he managed this stunt.
I saw the Headmaster watching from across the room, even he had a smile on his face from the scene before him.
Just as I was going to start walking again, I heard a cough behind me. Spinning around I saw Oliver standing there. It felt like it's been forever since I last talked to him.
"Hey Oliver what's up?" I asked gently. I still don't know where we stand since I rejected him.
"Can I have this dance?" He bowed slightly. I take his hand and he leads me to the dance floor.
"So how have you been?" I asked while placing my left hand on his shoulder.
"I've been alright, I've had a lot of time to think about things."
"What kind of things?"
"How childish I acted with you. I'm sorry about that."
"Hey Ollie, it's okay you have a right to your feelings." I patted his shoulder.
He looked over my shoulder and I followed his gaze to find Rima stomping on Senri's foot. It made me laugh. I wonder if he accidentally stepped on her foot.
I felt Oliver's gaze on me, I glanced back at him and hummed. "Are you happy?"
"Right now? I'm pretty amused, yes." My grin widened.
"No, I meant with Shiki-san."
"Oh! Yes, I'm very happy." He smiled sadly at me but he seemed pleased. It was awkward.
"May I cut in?" Oh my god my savior. It was Chaotic. Oliver said his goodbyes and that I should come visit him again at lunch time.
After he was outta earshot, I thanked Chaotic profusely. "Hey later, I was thinking we should sneak out and grab some ice cream in town. Just like we used to when you guys had prom. Well that was pizza but they have a 24 hour ice cream shop."
Chaotic laughed and he agreed to the idea when he suddenly went stiff.
"What's wrong?"
"I smell blood."
I looked up towards the balcony and saw that Haruno-san was looking towards the entrance. Hell, every Night Class student was looking towards the entrance.
"Who's blood is it?"
"It's a Pureblood's blood."
