The next day Starscream got a message from Cryak inviting him and Windblade to go on a double date with her and Optimus Prime they were going to take a space bridge to Earth because Optimus wanted to show Cryak the planet since she had never been there before.
Starscream agreed then after saying goodbye to his Mom called Windblade and invited her and she accepted thinking it would be fun to visit Earth again with Starscream, his Mom and Optimus.
After hanging up the seeker went to the living room and told Knock Out about the double date.
"I just got called into the hospital, I'm supposed to assist Shockwave with a project he's working on." Knock Out explained.
"But if you and Shockwave are both going to be at the hospital who's gonna watch Lightning Blaze?" The seeker asked him.
"Good question maybe we can get Moonracer or Ratchet to do it or call Steve again." Knock Out suggested.
Just then the doorbell rang and Starscream and Knock Out answered it to find Pharma standing there.
"Hello I decided to pay you guys a visit to see if I can help with anything?" Pharma asked. (Having really come there wanting to study the layout of their home to decide how best to kill them.)
"Yes we need someone to watch Lightning Blaze while I go to work and Starscream goes on a date." Knock Out explained thinking Pharma might be a good babysitter since he was also a medic.
"I'd be glad to watch the little angel for you." Pharma agreed (Nearly choking on the last word, But thinking this would be a good opportunity to get rid of the baby predacon once and for all.)
"Great I'll give you a list of instructions Shockwave gave me to take care of her, I made several copies just in case." Knock Out told him going to get the list only to trip when he opened the closet and had to roll out of the way to avoid being hit by one of Starscream's extra missiles that he had stored in there, Then being relieved when it didn't explode.
"Starscream how many times do I have to tell you to take those to be stored somewhere else?" Knock Out scolded the seeker. "What if Lightning somehow got to them?"
"You're right I better take these with me to put in the weapons locker at the Autobot base, Sorry about that I'll be more careful from now on." Starscream promised then apologized.
"We need to sparkling proof everything she's at that age where she likes to explore and get into everything she's not supposed to." Knock Out explained.
"Right you never know what could happen." Pharma added trying to sound innocent and concerned about Lightning Blaze's well-being, While being secretly disappointed about Starscream taking the missiles knowing that was a missed opportunity to make the predacon's demise look like an accident.
Then Starscream and Knock Out both kissed Lightning Blaze goodbye telling her Pharma would watch her and that they would both be back soon then went out the door.
"Ok now we can have some fun." Pharma said darkly when he saw that Starscream and Knock Out were gone and was now thinking of how to get rid of Lightning Blaze as the baby predacon was smiling and playing clueless of what the evil mech intended to do to her.
(Meanwhile with Starscream, Windblade, Optimus and Cryak.)
The group had just arrived on Earth where Optimus introduced Windblade and Cryak to Agent Fowler, June, Jack, Miko and Rath and explained to them that Starscream was good now, And they all welcomed them warmly.
Then they told them about Lightning Blaze and Starscream showed them a picture of her and they all thought she was adorable and Miko made Starscream promise to introduce them as soon as Lightning Blaze was old enough to visit Earth.
Then they found out that Cryak was Starscream's Mom and dating Optimus Prime.
"So does this mean Optimus is gonna be Screamy's stepdad?" Miko asked causing Starscream to choke on some energon he'd just taken a swig of, And if Optimus and Cryak had been human they would have been blushing.
And June got along with Cryak right away being able to relate to her being a single Mom herself, And revealed that she and Agent Fowler had started dating too.
Then after they'd spent a few hours visiting with the humans they took a ground bridge to a field in an area where humans wouldn't be so they wouldn't have to worry about being spotted and would be able to watch a lunar eclipse that was scheduled to happen.
Both couples held each other's hands as they enjoyed watching the eclipse.
(Back with Pharma and Lightning Blaze.)
Pharma had looked around the house looking for a way to end Lighting Blaze and make it look like an accident, When he had found Knock Out energonprob and rigged it next to an outlet so once the sparkling touched it she would be electrocuted.
Then Lightning Blaze came around the corner having been trying to follow Pharma around the house wondering why the mech didn't want to play with her.
"Why don't you try playing with the stick connected to the wall over there?" Pharma said in a sing song voice glad to be getting rid of the baby predacon. (But it didn't turn out the way he'd expected.)
Lightning Blaze saw the stick he pointed out and went to it then bit down on the end of it and suddenly felt a surge of electricity go through her body, At first she was confused but then,
(Lightning Blaze's thoughts.)
(Ooh happy time, play time happy fun play time happy baby happy fun time happy happy happy. :)
Pharma noticed sparks coming from her body but instead of pain she seemed to be feeling pleasure, And was now acting hyperactive like a kid experiencing a sugar rush, Then it down on him he heard from Starscream and Knock Out that instead of fire she breathed lightning so instead of hurting her he had accidentally supercharged her.
And now she was running at him with a big smile on her face, And more importantly spark coming off her body, And she may have been immune to electricity but he wasn't.
Now she was chasing him around the house and he was running away desperately trying to avoid being electrocuted.
At one point she zapped and turned on a cybertronian boom box and started dancing to the music that was now playing and Pharma stopped running thinking she was distracted and he was safe but she suddenly stopped and smiled in his direction and Pharma realized he had somehow ended up in a corner.
"Don't even, don't you dare!" Pharma screamed in a panic as she jumped on to him trying to get in his arms, Still full of electricity. "NO!"
(Back to Starscream, Windblade, Cryak and Optimus.)
After the eclipse the two couples had gone back to Cybertron and decided to stop by Cryak's house and were all hanging out and chatting and Starscream and Windblade both noticed Optimus and Cryak both seemed down and like they were both afraid to get too close to the other, so Starscream decided to talk to Optimus as they both stepped out on the porch while Windblade decided to talk to Starscream's Mom in the kitchen.
"What's wrong?" Starscream asked the Prime. "I can tell you and Mom love each other but you act like you're afraid to get close to her it's like every time you start to get affectionate you pull away from her?"
"It is just that before the war, Your mother and father and me and Elta One and Megatron were all friends and I know how much your mother loved your father just like I loved Elta and your father was one of my best friends and I don't want to take his place or betray Elta's memory." Optimus explained.
"You don't have to worry about that I think they both understand that you and Mom both still love them, But that you also love each other and right now you and Mom can live and be there for each other in a way that they can't right now and I think Dad and Elta One would want you and Mom to be happy together." Starscream reassured him.
"Thanks Starscream." Optimus thanked the seeker.
"Anytime and for the record I'd be glad to have you as a stepdad." Starscream added and they shook hands.
Meanwhile in the kitchen Cryak and Windblade were having the same conversation.
"I love Optimus but I feel guilty like I'm betraying my spark mate's memory and Elta and I were like sisters and I could never replace her nore would I want to." Cryak explained.
"I think both Starscream's Dad and Elta One would want you and Optimus to be happy since the two of you are in love and they can't be here to take care of you they would want you to take care of each other to honor their memories together." Windblade told her.
"Thanks Windblade I think my son found a great girlfriend." Cryak said to her.
"Thanks and anytime." Windblade replied and the two femmes hugged.
Then they went and joined the guys who had just come back into the living room as well.
And Starscream thanked Windblade for talking to his mom and then were happy to see Optimus and Cryak being more open with each other and even saw them kiss at one point.
Then Starscream and Windblade saw the time and had to head home while Optimus ending up staying the night in Cryak's guest room.
Starscream walked Windblade home then they kissed and said goodnight before Starscream headed back home after dropping Windblade off at her house.
Meanwhile Knock Out had just gotten home and rushed inside when he heard a crash and saw the place was a mess and that his energon prob was in an outlet in the wall with sparks coming off it.
At first he feared the worst until he saw Lightning Blaze who had just crashed from her supercharge and no longer had sparks coming off her, And rushed over and examined her and was relieved to see that she was fine other than having worn herself out and he hugged her then held her with coolant tears of relief rolling down his faceplates.
"Oh scrap I can't believe I was so careless to leave my energon prob laying around the house like that and after I scolded Starscream about being more careful, Thank goodness your immune to electricity I'm so sorry sweetie I promise to be more careful from now on I'm just so happy you okay." Knock Out said as he held his daughter still shaking and in tears.
"Yeah thank goodness she's ok." Pharma groaned from the floor having been charred and nearly electrocuted.
Then Knock Out called the hospital for Pharma and apologized for his near death experience while Pharma was secretly angry that his plan had backfired.
Starscream got home just in time to see Pharma being taken to the hospital, Then Knock Out told him what happened and apologized for being so hard on him about being careful, When he had recklessly left his energon prob laying around, Not knowing what Pharma had done and thinking it was his fault for being careless.
"I could have sworn I left that in my closet." Knock Out scolded himself. "I can't believe I put her in danger like that what if she hadn't been immune to electricity she could have been killed."
"The important thing is she's fine and she knows you care about her and wouldn't knowingly put her in harms way." Starscream reassured his best friend. "Accidents happen and your a great Dad Knock Out you've proven that by how quickly you rushed to check on her and by how bothered you are by what happened."
"Thanks Screamer and I'll make sure I don't make the same mistake again because even though it's not dangerous for her we should put covers on the outlet and keep her away from electricity at least until she's old enough to control it because as we saw what happened with Pharma it's not healthy for everyone else." Knock Out replied.
"Yeah and I don't think we should let Pharma babysit her anymore between what happened to him with the infected energon cube and tonight he's too accident prone, And I thought me, Steve and Waspinator had it bad." Starscream added and Knock Out agreed.
Later they took Lightning Blaze to the hospital to have Shockwave check her over to make sure no hidden damage had been done and fortunately she was fine and electricity wouldn't hurt her but they agreed that for everyone else's safety they should keep her away from it until she was old enough to control it and not shock anyone.
And they learned that Pharma was going to be ok though he secretly wasn't very happy that his plan failed and was trying to think of a new one unbeknownst to the others, And had even faked being concerned for Lightning Blaze and lied saying he had grabbed her without thinking after seeing the spark coming off her to make sure she was alright.
And still having no clue about his true intentions Starscream and Knock Out had thanked him for trying to look out for Lightning Blaze and apologized to him for what happened.
Pharma was impressed with himself for being able to trick them knowing that as long as he could get them to trust him he would get another chance to kill all three of them and be rid of two decepticons and a predacon and he was mainly just glad that the baby predacon couldn't talk to say anything about what he did and had also believed he had just been playing with her.
"I'll try to take out Starscream or Knock Out first once one or both of them are out of the picture it'll be easy to get rid of that little pest." Pharma thought to himself, through he would have to wait to recover before trying anything else.
