Phantom Lord attacks:
Natsu, Grey and Happy surround Lucy whose sitting on a barrel in the corner, "Why didn't you tell us Lucy?" Happy questions the blonde. "It's not like I hid it, I mean how can I bring up I'm a run away in a casual manner." Lucy says, her expression sad.
"You still should have told us." Happy sternly states, Grey hits the back of the cat's head. "That's enough out of you, can't you see she's been through enough already."
"Sorry Lucy." Happy apologized.
"No, it's my fault, if I didn't come here the Master wouldn't be in the state he's in. Not only that, Levy, Jet and Droy wouldn't have been hurt." Lucy clenches her fist as tears begin to form in her eyes.
"I'm not so sure about that kid. Phantom Lord has always been out to get us. Especially since we became tied for the number one guild in Fiore. My guess is that whoever hired them to kidnap you must have known that they had bad blood with us." Alec says at a nearby table.
"Alec's right, besides you're Lucy from Fairy Tail. No matter who comes our way, we're gonna fight them off to protect our friends and that includes you too." Natsu declares with a smile.
Lucy begins to cry, "Oh come on Natsu, you made her cry." Grey says. "That's not what I intended to happen Streaker" Natsu states, Grey gets face to face with Natsu both pushing their foreheads together.
"What'd you say flame brain.", "Oh I don't know what'd you think, ice princess."
"You wanna fight Pyro?", "Let's go popsicle!" Natsu and Grey are just about to hit each other when a green translucent barrier appears between the two rivals and their fists hit that instead. Anyone nearby could hear a popping sound from their joints hitting the barrier.
"That's enough out of you two. We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves especially now that the Makarov is out of commission… and that's my fault for letting that happen. However, just because I destroyed a tower, broke their ceiling and beat up 60% of the members present, it doesn't mean they won't come back to attack us. So we must be prepared for them." Alec states to everyone present.
Alec then turns to the card mage and asks, "Hey Cana anything from Mystogan or Laxus?"
"No, nothing from Mystogan as for Laxus… Mira got a hold of him when you were outside and he said his usual stick about the master handing the guild over to him. So we shouldn't expect anything from him." Alec sighs.
Just then everything including the room itself starts to shake. "What's happening?" Cana shouts, "I don't know but I get a bad feeling about this." Wakaba adds.
"Everyone outside now." Alec gestures to the stairs of the basement and everyone goes outside.
There they see in Magnolia Lake a slightly destroyed Phantom Lord's guild hall moving towards them with metal legs like a spider. The guild hall stops as a loud voice recognized to be Master Jose comes from the Phantom Lord guild hall for all of Magnolia to hear.
"Fairy Tail, your master has fallen, and your pet dragon weakened. You are now nothing but a bunch of misfits. Surrender Lucy Heartfillia and I might spare your pathetic lives. If you don't you will meet the fate your dragon faced but worse." Just then the Jupiter cannon emerges from the center of the guild building.
"We won't let you take her!" Natsu cries out, "Yeah what he said!" Macao states. The rest of the guild members begin to roar in a rebellion against handing Lucy over to Phantom Lord. Upon hearing this Lucy starts to cry, "Hear that kid, you might not believe it but you've been one of us the moment you joined and nobody, not even another guild is going to take you from this family." Alec says with a gentle smile.
"Fine, I gave you your chance… Fire the Jupiter Cannon." Jose commands, and the cannon begins to charge up with a blue glow in the barrel. "What do we do?" A member questions, just then Erza runs in front of the guild members and Requips into her Adamantine armor that is a heavy duty silver and blue armor with two giant shields on each arm.
She stops at the edge of the stairs, "What are you doing Erza?" Macao questions already knowing the answer. "Protecting the guild hall." She responds, The cannon fires and she puts both her shields together to make one giant shield as three protective magic shields form in front of hers. As the blast gets closer a voice can be heard clear as day followed by a snap, 'Creation Magic: Black Hole'. All color seems to disappear as a small black orb appears in the middle of the blast and the attack begins to be sucked into the orb in a spiral motion before disappearing, color returning to everything as well.
Alec is then seen flying in place over the lake between Magnolia and Phantom Lord's guildhall. "You're still around even after getting hit by my cannon! You should be mortally injured at the very least." Jose yells in frustration.
"You're right there, that hit you gave me was quite the bitch but you know… it doesn't take one hit to scare off a dragon let alone kill one. Even with dragon slayer magic, I should know after 425 years." Alec's starts seeing black spots in the corner of his vision. Alec shakes his head and disorientedly flies down next to Erza nearly falling as he retracts his wings back into his back. "Alec what's wrong?" Erza asks.
"Nothing, I'm fine." Alec responds, covering one of his eyes. But Erza could tell that the dragon was lying to her based on the fact his eyes were starting to glaze over. "Get Alec inside!" Erza commands, Cana and Mira make their way over and grab both of his arms to support him to his feet. "I'm fine you two, let go of me!" Alec snaps at the two mages.
They release Alec, "Well this isn't good. Is it because I used too much magic in a short amount of time? If so, I probably have enough for 8 minor spells or 2 major spells like black hole." Alec thought.
"Well, well, it seems the mighty have fallen. Now give me Lucy Heartfillia or face another blast from my cannon and this time your pet dragon won't be able to stop me. You have 15 minutes. Hahaha!" Jose mocks.
"Natsu, can you go and destroy that cannon?" Alec questions. "Oh yeah, I'm already on it, let's go Happy!"
"Aye Sir!" Happy then grabs Natsu and they fly off towards the Jupiter Cannon.
"Come on Elfman we're going too!" Grey says, and they both charge towards the shore. Grey then puts a fist in his other palm and says 'Ice Make: Stairs' making a staircase out of ice leading up to the Phantom Lord guild hall.
"I'm going as well." Erza shouts, "No you're staying here as a precaution, in case Natsu and the others don't destroy the cannon in time." Alec states, and Erza nods in response.
Jose then releases Phantom soldiers heading straight towards the Fairy Tail mages to keep anyone else from coming. "Here comes the enemy. Everyone get ready to fight and cover each other's backs." Cana commands.
The Fairy Tail mages get into groups of two or three and put their backs together.
Mira grabs Lucy's arm and takes her to the back of Fairy Tail where Reedus is waiting. "What are we doing here Mira the battle is back there?" Lucy asks.
"Reedus is going to bring you to a safe house till this is all over. Reedus, can you create a form of transportation for Lucy." Mira explains, "Oui!" Reedus then paints a cart being pulled by a purple boar on the enlarged canvas on his body. 'Picto Magic' the image then pops off the canvas and becomes reality in front of Lucy and Mira.
"Wait, I'm not leaving you all to fight my battle." Lucy states. "You're a member of our guild, we're proud to fight this battle, each and everyone of us. Now please do as I say." Mira says and puts her hand up to Lucy's head and casts a sleep spell on her.
Mira hands the asleep Lucy to Redus and says, "Take care of her Reedus." Reedus nods and puts Lucy in the back of the cart and sits in the front and grabs the reins to the boar. With one whip of the reins the boar takes off down the road out of view.
Mira turns around and transforms into Lucy. She then proceeds to walk back towards the fight.
Phantom soldiers are swarming around everyone and reappearing just as quickly as they get destroyed. "Watch out Wakaba!" Erza shouts, a phantom soldier then flies right through Wakaba.
"What the… I feel so weak… like I can't stand." Wakaba says right before he collapses to the ground. "Wakaba!" Macao shouts in concern for his friend.
"Don't let them touch you." Cana says, "She's right, they'll drain your life force energy so be careful." Alec adds as he quickly creates a translucent magic sword and slices a few phantom soldiers.
"Correct, it's my Shade Magic and I plan to keep summoning them till you submit to me. The humiliation of Makarov's children at my mercy is quite enjoyable. I will have you at my feet and have Makarov watch as I pick you off one by one." Jose says.
"Does this guy ever shut up?" Laki questions and everyone nods in agreement.
"How much longer till the cannon fires?" Bisca questions, "Three minutes." Cana replied.
"What's taking Natsu so long?" Alzack questioned. "Shut up and trust that Natsu destroys it in time." Alec shouts.
…
'Fire Dragon…' "I can still control your fire. Did you forget that." The guy calls out. "Spit!" Natsu then proceeded to spitball the guy before laughing.
"That was a dumb move, 'Scorched Fire'!" The guy creates a red magic circle and flames come out of it towards Natsu. "You call that an attack, well I call that my dinner." Natsu states as he slurps up the guy's fire and immediately complains how nasty the taste was.
"That's a dirty trick!" Natsu says, "And a face full of spit isn't." The guy counters.
Natsu then begins to throw punches at the man, "Fighting without magic are we. No matter my katana is at the ready." The guy states as he lunged towards Natsu swinging his katana. Natsu kicks it and it flies into the Lacrima.
Natsu ignites his flames and goes to hit the guy in front of him but his fist hits his own face. "Natsu forget about this guy, you only have 30 seconds!" Happy yells.
"I told you that I control all forms of fire. You can't touch me." The guy mocks. Natsu the extends the range of his fire that's in his face, causing his flames in his face to launch backwards towards the guy and hitting him making him stumble backwards, in shock.
"He expanded the range of his fire to hit me." The guy thinks to himself .
Natsu begins to circulate two discs of fire in each hand before putting the two together creating one giant flame disc. "That's fine I'll just control your fire from here." The man tries to take control of Natsu's fire but is shocked to find out he can't do it anymore. "How did he figure it out in the middle of a fight?"
Natsu then launches the flames towards the man and upwards to the Lacrima. "What good is an attack if you can't hit your target?" The guy mocks. "Whoever said you were my target." Natsu counters, the nan looks up to see Natsu's flames hit the katana in the Lacrima just before the cannon fired.
…
All of Fairy Tail began to cheer as Phantom Lord's Jupiter Cannon has been destroyed. But then the Phantom Lord guild hall began to shift and turn in every direction. "What's it doing?" Alzack asked.
"No idea but we'll have to leave it for Natsu to destroy." Cana states as she throws one of her cards at a Phantom soldier.
"But what about his motion sickness?" Macao points out, and as he said that everyone lost hope.
Alec then sprouts his wings and white scales begin to creep up the sides of his arms and face. With two black horns with strange white symbols carved on them.
"Cana, your in charge of the situation here." Alec says and she nods in response. Alec then turns to Erza and says, "Erza come with me, we're going to give Natsu some backup."
Alec takes flight and Erza jumps into the air yo grab hold of Alec's hand. Alec then proceeds to fly towards the shifting guildhall. "Alright, now that the cannon is gone it's time to strike back don't you think Erza?", "I agree with you there Alec. Let's give them some payback for destroying our guild and what they did to the Master."
