Roanapur Nights

A Rosario+Vampire and Black Lagoon Crossover

Chapter 5

There had been stories, multiple stories, that Kurumu had heard about her father from her mother. Stories about how dear he had been to her heart, how he became her destined one, and most specifically how she never once stepped out while he drew breath. She knew that her mother wasn't a chaste woman by any means. She also knew that while her mother still was a sexual being that everything she did likely was pale and tasteless compared to what she had. She knew that now because of experience.

Her entire body was covered in a layer of sweat, her breath was labored and heavy, and she felt as if she could barely move. Tsukune had given her the very thing she had been after since he first saved her from Moka. They'd made love, a couple of times, and then finally they had moved into something harder. They had barely been in Roanapur for a little more than two days, and in that time she had spent a glorious six hours with Tsukune.

Six hours of being made love to, six glorious hours of what she had only dreamed of, and now she was exhausted. Their coming here had been for Ling Ling, and that was something she wasn't sure of. Granted, she couldn't fault the Jiang Shi for wanting to be with Tsukune, but she wasn't sure about him becoming part of the Huang Family. She slowly sat up, a slight winch echoed through her. He'd done as she had asked and wrecked her. She had offered him everything, and he'd accepted. As such there were parts of her that were sore, but being a succubus meant that she would be fine in about an hour.

It also meant that there was a very real chance that she was carrying his child. A rush of excitement went through her with that thought, but again she considered where they were. They were in a city of no questions, a place where they could be themselves, and they were in the accompaniment of the Huang Family. Ling Ling had explained that they wouldn't call upon any of them to do anything they didn't feel comfortable with.

Instead she explained that Tsukune's place was held simply because she had joined their relationship. She decided that she wasn't going to let anything sour her mood. She was happy with Tsukune. Sure, she was sharing him, but it didn't matter to her. She got to be with him, and that was all she could ask. She slowly moved and saw the object of her desires resting peacefully. As much as she would enjoy laying claim to him again she felt the first stirrings of her hunger.

The apartment they were in was immaculate, exceptionally beautiful, and not exactly what she expected when they first arrived. The carpeting itself was the kind of plush that almost felt like walking on velvet. The bed was a gigantic king sized bed, and it was simply the softest thing she had ever slept on before. That was just the bedroom, and that didn't even begin to hint at the art hanging up throughout the apartment.

She knew better than to ask if many of them were reproductions. She had very little doubt that a good deal of the art here was priceless pieces that had disappeared, and either they had purchased or stolen them. She made her way to the kitchen, not caring that she was completely nude. It wouldn't be the first time that she had walked around a house with Tsukune in it completely nude, and it wouldn't be the last.

Besides, the only ones besides her Tsukune, Mizore, Tsurara, and Ruby was Mizore's son (who was on a feeding schedule), Ling Ling, and occasionally Fang Fang. The only one that hadn't seen her nude had been Fang Fang, and she doubted that the other co-head of the Huang Family would be showing up today. Ling Ling had said something about meetings with the other groups, and also meetings with friends as well.

Looking over the kitchen she smiled as she made her way toward the oven. The first thing she had presented to Tsukune had been special cookies that she baked for him. It was only right for her to make the same ones now. She set upon the cupboards, finding the flour, sugar, baking powder, and other wonderful ingredients for the cookies. Of course she was going to cook more than that, but she wanted to give him those cookies again.

"You're loud."

The voice startled her, and she almost jumped out of her skin. She calmed herself enough to look behind her to see Mizore sitting at the table. Her top was open, and currently she was feeding their son. The infant was suckling as Mizore held him gently. Kurumu didn't begin to understand everything that had happened, but she knew that Mizore and Tsurara had been given special permission to be here. The Snow Priestess had allowed them to travel, along with Mizore's son, with the understanding that they would return to the village upon the completion of what Tsukune was to do in Roanapur.

Kurumu didn't know what Ling Ling had done to get that permission, but she understood that she had gone through great lengths to do it. She had done it for her Tsukune. Shaking her head she looked at Mizore, "What do you mean loud?"

The snow maiden raised an eyebrow at her, "Kurumu, everyone could hear you through soundproof walls."

She smiled for a moment before she considered exactly what that meant. Sure, she loved the fact that she was vocal about what was happening and what she was doing, but she certainly didn't want to embarrass Tsukune.

"Everyone?" she asked, a faint blush crossing her cheeks, "Like even people not in the apartment?"

Mizore shook her head as she fed her and Tsukune's son, "Kurumu," she said softly, "I'm convinced that they heard you in the village."

Kurumu seemed to take a moment, and she relaxed her shoulders. She wasn't that embarrassed about being heard. The only thing that possibly bothered her was that someone outside of the apartment might have heard. Even then it wasn't that bad. Looking at Mizore she noticed that the snow woman was and wasn't paying attention to her. She could tell that her attention was divided between herself and her son.

"How are you liking the city so far?"

Mizore raised an eyebrow, but if there was a comeback it was quickly tucked away. Instead she gave a small smile, "It's a little rough around the edges, but it's nice to be somewhere that we can be ourselves," she replied as she held the infant, "Although, if I am honest I do have reservations about being here."

Kurumu nodded, turned back toward the cupboards, and began pulling the rest of the ingredients down for the cookies, "Mostly about being guests of the Huang Family?"

Mizore hmmed in the affirmative. Kurumu took the ingredients, all of which seemed to be organic and expensive. It wasn't like she was someone that watched every thing she purchased, but she did try to keep from overdoing it when she could. What she saw with every single package was brand named flour, sugar, chocolate chips, baking powder, and even milk. It certainly seemed to fit in with the rest of the apartment. A small part of her wondered if this was more postering from Ling Ling. That she was showing what they had to offer.

A very real part of her believed that could be the possible answer, but another part didn't think that it was really the case. She began to mix the cookie dough together, and as she did she allowed herself to think of her own path to where she was. She had attempted, multiple times, to gain Tsukune's attention. Of course part of how she did it had been juvenile, but then again she had been in highschool.

Still, he had proven how fiercely loyal and forgiving he was. He showed her compassion, and that had been after he learned that she was attempting to use her charm on him. Moreover he remained a true friend to her until she attempted to make herself part of his marriage to Moka. She would have been willing to be the other woman. She would have gladly been his mistress, the other, the one that was seen but not spoken about.

Instead he had once again proven that he was loyal, and he gently rejected her. That had been enough for her to lose herself, and it had been through an insane amount of luck that she was allowed to live outside of Japan. Currently, if she traveled to Japan she had to be on the Witch's Knoll, and that was it. Still, she had done all of that, went through every single sitch of .it, and it had been for the slight chance of being with him.

He was her destined one, and she could no more deny her feelings than she could stop time itself. Now she finally had gained what she so wanted. Ling Ling was similar in the fact that she had fallen in love with Tsukune. She had done something that was considered taboo for her, and she had prostrated herself before him. In addition she had explained the city they had acquired property in. She was surprised by Tsukune when he stated that he would give her a chance. It was a chance that the Jiang Shi had taken whole heartedly. Tsukune hadn't given Kurumu a chance. He had welcomed her, asked her if she still wanted to be with him, and she had accepted with a glad heart. She was his, and she understood that he was hers. The one thing she would never do was hurt him.

It was her truest intention to heal him as much as possible. Her Tsukune was still there, and she wanted to make sure that he understood that he was safe with her. She understood that in her own way Mizore wanted the same. She believed, deeply wanted to believe, that Ling Ling was the same as well. She was certain that the Jiang Shi wanted to help his heart and soul heal. Granted, she was likely to also do it in her own way.

What she had, everything she had, was as perfect as the situation would allow it to be. At one time she fantasized about having Tsukune all to herself. Her fantasies even had some of the more risque moments that one might expect from an ecchi manga. The blushing new bride waiting for her beloved in only an apron. A fresh meal crafted with love for her beloved, and having him walk in for her to make the most delicious of suggestions. That of, "Darling, dinner is ready, or of course if you rather could have a bath first, or perhaps you could just have me."

It was something she had fantasized about so much, and now, now it would be a bit more difficult to do. Difficult, but not impossible. "Yahoo-hoo," she thought as a smile graced her luscious lips, "I can still do it, but I just need to be sure that it's on a day when it's really just us."

Of course there was every chance in the world that Ruby would be close by. While she wouldn't count herself as a bride, she did count herself as Tsukune's servant. As such she tended to stick close to him most of the time. The exceptions seemed to be when she specifically wanted to ensure that certain things were taken care of. The children at the Witch's Knoll were an exception. Ruby had already explained that she would be leaving early, thus giving Yukari a chance to see Roanapur for herself.

She had wondered why they didn't just bring the children, but when Ling Ling explained the kind of city that Roanapur was she understood the reason for leaving them behind. The last thing she wanted was for any of the orphans that had taken up residence at the Witch's Knoll to go missing in a city where they would never be found. Those orphans had adopted Ruby as their mother, accepted Tsukune as a father or big brother, and accepted the rest of them as extended family.

It was odd to see human children so ready to accept them. Although they had actually only seen their human forms. Regardless, it did give her a bit of hope. It meant that there was a very real chance that humanity would eventually come to accept them. She certainly wanted to believe that people like Tsukune were the rule and not the exception. Part of her wondered what it would have been like if they would have adopted something of an exchange student program.

A program where monsters, like her, had gone to live among humans in their natural forms. As a succubus it wouldn't be that much of a change. Her natural form was fairly close to human anyway. The only real difference was her wings and the extended nails. Even then the nails were for defense, and the wings more often than not were simply hidden by their illusionary abilities. She smiled, shook her head, and finished mixing the cookie dough, dolloped out small rounded mounds, each almost resembling miniature breasts, as she waited for the oven to announce that it was ready.

A moment later it beeped, and she put the unbaked cookies into the oven, closed it, and set the timer for twelve minutes. She had long since learned that was the perfect time. The cookies would be soft and delicious on the inside, but they'd have a slightly crisp outside. They were almost exactly like the cookies she had baked for Tsukune so long ago. Of course there was a slight difference in that they had chocolate chips.

Those original cookies had been more or less sugar cookies, but they had been made with the same love that she had for him. She considered that for a moment. She had never fallen out of love with Tsukune. Looking at Mizore she realized that even like this, with him being shared, she still loved him. Tsukune had proven himself to be a wonderful man, a loyal friend, and certainly last night proved that he was an exceptional lover. She finally took a seat, and she chose to ignore the questioning look coming from Mizore.

"Perhaps at least putting on panties before sitting on one of the kitchen chairs would be an idea."

She looked at Mizore, touched the corner of her right eye, pulled it a bit, and stuck out her tongue much like she had when she was much younger. Mizore did what she used to do and giggled. Despite everything the two of them were friends. Even when Kurumu had to leave, even then, Mizore was still friends with her. They had shared letters, and Mizore had sent photos of her other children.

Those children, whom Mizore loved dearly, had to remain at the snow woman village. Ling Ling had been able to pull enough strings for Mizore and her newborn to come, but getting permission for the rest of them was out of the question. Each of them would have a chance to leave for a short while when they attended school.

"Mizore," Kurumu said as she looked about the apartment, "Do you think that this city would be somewhere monsters and humans could live together?"

Mizore continued to let her son suckle, "Yes," she said softly, "and no. Kurumu, this city is one for predators. The humans that live here aren't simply prey. Each one of them is a predator. Perhaps they are predators in their own way, but they are most assuredly predators. It would be a city for monsters that are just as predatory as the humans."

Kurumu nodded, "Not exactly all of us huh?"

Mizore gently removed her son from her breast. Kurumu watched as she gently moved him up, patting his back, getting him to burp lightly, "Oh, an enterprising succubus would do well here," she replied, "and I could see the people of the snow village doing well enough. Still, there are some that wouldn't do well here. Some that would fall to what has become the natural predators of this city."

Mizore pointed toward a window, "Kurumu, this is a place that Ling Ling and Fang Fang do well in because they were raised as part of a criminal empire," she replied softly, "They know the rules, understand the process, and they know how to make this place a fitting home for them. What they know is something others would have to learn, and I'm afraid that there isn't a very gracious learning curve."

Kurumu nodded, "I understand, but then there were those people that brought your mother back to you."

Mizore gave a faint smile, "They brought her back, but not for me."

Her pale blue eyes looked into Kurumu's more violet ones, "She was meant to be a present for Tsukune," she said softly, "And while I am glad that she has had the chance to meet her grandson, and be the mother I used to know there's something different. My mother isn't the woman she had been."

She closed her eyes, "She's not as focused, not as disciplined, and not as mindful of her actions," she replied as she finally got her young son to burp, "She's not the same woman, and I fear that she never will be."

Kurumu studied her a bit, "Do you think that Ling Ling did something?"

Mizore nodded, "I know she did."

She stood slowly, so as not to disturb her son, "Mother told me as much," she stated as she walked toward the entertainment area. Once there she put her son into what looked like a moveable crib, "Apparently she put a very special geas on her. She won't be able to focus easily, and she will always want to feel Tsukune ravish her."

Kurumu looked at her and felt the realization, "Can't we have her undo it?"

Mizore nodded, "Yes, but doing so would make her have to re-experience her death, all of it, and I can't bring myself to do that to her."

Kurumu could understand. If it would have been her own mother she wasn't sure that she could put her through it either. She shook her head, "I'm sorry Mizore."

Mizore slowly shook her head, "Don't be. She might not be the mother I knew, but she is my mother. I am happy to have her back, and to have her whole. It is odd that the one who birthed me also shares my Tsukune, but I suppose that it is not the worst possible thing."

Kurumu understood what she meant, and at the same time she couldn't help but have her heart go out to Mizore. Mostly because she had lost her mother, and then had her returned, but not as the woman she had known. She had been returned as someone that was both the same and different from what she had been. As she sat there considering all that was happening, the good, the bad, and of course waiting for the cookies to finish for Tsukune, another individual made his way toward the collection of buildings that the Huang Family used as their base of operations in Roanapur.

Rock slowly moved his way toward the collection of buildings. Benny had explained that Ling Ling had asked for him personally, and of course he had every intention of honoring a request from one of their best clients. He neared the door and saw someone that had become something of a common individual since the Huang Family began working.

"ROCK!" Yan yelled as she jumped in place, "They're upstairs waiting for you!"

He smiled as he walked toward the door.
