BGM: Rito Village - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)
"So how are we going to rebuild it?" Li asked.
"Good question." Teba responded. "Perhaps we could turn it into a shrine dedicated to Revali, or better yet-"
They heard barking and screeching as they turned to see Zwei and Revali heading over to them, sounding quite distressed.
"Zwei? Revali? What's going on?" Tulin asked. "Where's Weiss?"
Both of them let out their respective cries.
"Okay, one at a time." Teba approached. "Where's Weiss? Is she hurt? Can you show me where she is?"
Both of them nodded and took off as they went off to the spot where Weiss was dragged down into the depths.

"Her Master Cycle's here… but where's Weiss?" Ren wondered.
Teba turned to the duo. "Can you tell us what happened?"
Both nodded as Revali hopped on top of the Master Cycle, putting his wings on the handle bars to act as Weiss.
Teba nodded. "Okay, so Weiss was about to drive off-"
Zwei would then jump up and grab Revali's talon, pulling him off of the vehicle.
"-Something grabbed Weiss and pulled her off-"
Zwei immediately dug up a hole.
"-And… then she dug a hole?" Tulin tilted his head as Revali tried to get away, but Zwei grabbed Revali by the talon and started to pull him under as Revali tried to fight back but he was pulled in as the last thing they saw was a wing before it sunk into the hole.
"No, she got dragged down into the ground." Ren said.
"Something dragged Weiss down into the depths…" Li said gravely as Zwei and Revali climbed out of it. "Tell us, who dragged her down there?"
Zwei lifted his paw up.
"Paws?" Tulin wondered. "...Wait a minute… hands!"
Teba folded his wings. "Those must be the Gloom Hands… I've seen how troublesome they are."
"You've seen them yourself?" Ren asked.
"Yes. When the blizzard first started, I flew off to see if the blizzard was affecting other areas in Hyrule. That's when I noticed Hyrule Castle floating in the sky during the start of the Upheaval. To make matters worse, I noticed a peculiar set of hands rising from the ground and pulling any unsuspecting individual down into the depths. Hylians, Zoras, Gerudo, dogs… anything was fair game. They were never seen again."
"So you're saying a similar fate happened with Weiss." Li said.
"Indeed, but… Weiss is too stubborn to die. She should be fine." Teba responded. "However, she may need our help… I've a feeling the Gloom Hands have taken her down to the depths for a reason."
"Salem, perhaps?" Ren wondered.
"Probably. We need to go find her immediately and pull her out… I fear she may have been separated from her Purah Pad."
Teba turned to Ren. "Think you can control the Master Cycle?"
"Would it be possible? It seems like only she can drive it." Ren said.
"Nonsense. I've seen someone else drive it." Teba smirked.
Five years ago, about ten days after Ruby was saved…
"WAHOOOOOOOO!" Ruby launched off of a hill while driving the Master Cycle. "THIS IS AWESOME!"
Weiss let out a giggle. "Isn't it?"
"Oh, it handles perfectly~!"
Nearby, Teba flew overhead, minding his business as he looked down and noticed Ruby driving it. "Heh, she's letting her take it for a spin."
Back in the present…
"So… even though Weiss can summon it, I have a feeling she'd let anyone drive it." Teba said.
"Right." Ren nodded as he climbed on, then Li climbed in the back.
"You're going too, Li? With your bum leg?" Teba asked.
"It needs some exercise." Li responded.
"Very well. Let's go to Purah. She will know what to do." Teba said.
"Okay… how do I get this to start…?" Ren wondered.
"Woof!" Zwei dug into the compartment in his side car and handed over a piece of paper to Ren.
Instructions on how to drive the Master Cycle - For Ruby, by Weiss
Ren looked over the instructions. "Okay…"
"Come on, Ren! Let's go! You can read and drive at the same time, can't you?" Tulin asked impatiently.
"I feel like that would be extremely dangerous." Ren sweatdropped.
"Oh, what's the issue? You're reading, you're driving… there's no distractions, right? What's the worst that can happen?"
"Driving into a tree? A rock? Falling off a cliff…"
"Oh please, who would drive into a tree while they're reading and driving?" Tulin rolled his eyes as he flew off.
Ren gave the instructions a once over and then handed it back to Zwei. "I'll figure this out myself." He started the engine and drove off.
Later, at Lookout Landing…
BGM: Lookout Landing (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)
"Impa?" Winter approached her. "You decided to look youthful again?"
"Considering what we're going against… I can't just sit idly and do nothing but wander around in my final years." Impa explained. "It's not like I wanted to be youthful again. I lived a somewhat peaceful life aside from that wild time we had a century ago. But… this is way different. I'd rather die of old age than die by Salem and the Grimm."
"You want to go out on your own terms."
"Exactly!" Impa nodded. "So honestly…" She brought out a few kunai knives. "Let's give Salem hell."
"Right." Winter nodded. "Once Weiss is done dealing with the four corners of Hyrule, we-"
She was interrupted by the sound of a motorcycle as they turned to see Ren driving over and screeching to a halt, then the Rito landed near them as Zwei and Revali jumped out.
"Ren? Why did you…?" Winter paused, her eyes widening as a pit in her stomach formed. "What happened to Weiss?"
"From what her pets told us, Weiss was pulled into the depths by the Gloom Hands." Teba said.
"The Gloom Hands?!" Purah exclaimed in shock. "Oh no, I've seen them in action myself…"
"Why did they want Weiss?" Winter demanded.
"If I had to guess, Salem got a bit annoyed after Weiss dealt with the blizzard." Teba said. "She probably wanted to teach her a lesson."
"Oh, but it's Weiss… she's too stubborn to "be taught a lesson"." Purah waved it off. "She's a hundred and twenty three, people get really stubborn at that age."
"You're one to talk." Winter deadpanned.
"Regardless… she will definitely need help." Purah said. "Someone that old will definitely need some help to fight off the enemies."
"Again, you're one to talk!"
Purah smirked. "Ignoring that snarky comment… let's go get our girl back."

Back down into the depths…
"Wh-what are you…?" Weiss struggled to get up.
"How am I alive? Simple… I lived off the land down here, eating anything I could find. You want to know how many times I've eaten mushrooms? Or the fact that I was forced to eat fish… or… hell, I was forced to eat frogs down here! You want to know what it's like eating a damn frog?!"
"...I've had experience."
"But have you ever been eaten by one and was forced to eat whatever it ate? I've eaten garbage, Weiss. GARBAGE. I had to eat my way out of the big guy!"
"...Okay, I… I didn't experience that. I thought falling from that hole would have killed you…" Weiss groaned, leaning on some rocks to hold herself steady.
"Fate had other ideas… I've had dim lights to keep me company. It wasn't so bad, there's a whole lava area where I believe there was a temple down there. I wouldn't have known though. Kept catching on fire just trying to see the structure for myself."
"A… temple…?" Weiss weakly asked.
"Never mind that. Why are you down here… come to gloat?"
"N-No… I… I'm just… t-trying to get away…"
"From what?" Adam wondered before noticing the poison dripping from Weiss's wound. "Hey, you've been poisoned."
"Y-yeah… and it's really… doing a number on me… hah… hah…"
Weiss stumbled forward, limping past Adam.
"I need to get away… I don't have time for you."
"...Does it hurt?"
"What are you-"
Adam turned around and punched Weiss's wound.
BGM: Disquiet (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"GRAAAAGH!" She cried as she fell on the ground.
"Survey says… it does." Adam said as he knelt down, unaware of Tyrian approaching and climbing over the wall.
"Oh…?" Tyrian wondered with curiosity.
"You dropped me into this hole five years ago… and now you will get to experience what I've been through."
"Whuh… what are you talking… about…? Y-you did that yourself…"
"If you hadn't invaded the Yiga Hideout, I wouldn't be down here!"
Adam kicked Weiss in the stomach, making her cry out in pain as Tyrian let out an amused chuckle.
"There's something else that I've been working on." Adam grabbed Weiss by the ponytail and dragged her away into a dark open field, tossing her away. "Let's just say I found a rune that helped me build anything I want. So I built… and I built… and then I came across these curious craftsmanship. Wheels and other strange devices… so I honed my craftsmanship-"
He turned around.
"-To the point where I can summon it just by memory!" He said, snapping his fingers as a massive vehicle formed behind him. It was shaped like a flatbed truck, only it had spikes on the front.
"Wh-what…?"
Adam smirked as he walked over toward it, climbing inside from the left side as headlights turned on and aimed directly at Weiss, however, the lights would also reveal Tyrian.
"Hmm?" Adam raised an eyebrow at the intruder.
"Oh, don't mind me! I'm just a spectator. Go ahead and run her over for me, I'll pick up what's left of her!" Tyrian waved it off.
"Dibs on the loser. Fine by me."
Weiss growled, raising her arm up to activate the summon on her finger while Adam started to drive forward, pulling the gear shift down as the spikes lowered.
"Heheheh… goodbye, Weiss."
Suddenly, an arrow struck him in the shoulder. "Gragh!" Adam grunted as he swerved, narrowly missing Weiss as Adam turned to see Tulin's spirit flapping in front of him, bow in talons. "Hmph!" He took the arrow out of his shoulder.
End BGM
Tulin flew over toward Weiss and pulled out a potion, giving it to her as she drank it up. It didn't exactly cure her poison, but it was enough to rejuvenate her a bit.
"Alright…" Weiss pulled out her Purah Pad and immediately summoned the Master Cycle.
Penny scanned the area after everyone jumped into the hole near Lookout Landing, where Ren used the Paraglider to softly land.
"She's this way!" Penny said, pointing off to the distance.
"Let's go!" Ren exclaimed as he drove off… only for the Master Cycle to disappear as he, Li, Zwei and Revali landed on their butts and slid a few feet.
"Okay, it looks like she's doing well for herself!" Purah said.
"That's not good enough." Winter said as she was riding on Whitley. "Whitley, can you hurry as fast as you can?"
"I'll try!" Whitley said as he ran off, Winter creating a few Ice birds for everyone else to jump on.
BGM: Master Kohga (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)
Weiss climbed onto the Master Cycle, pressing a button to retract the side car as she revved it up, glaring at Adam.
Adam turned his vehicle around, raising an eyebrow in amusement.
"Like that should do you any good."
Both of them revved up their engines as they both drove toward each other, Adam pressing a button as rockets came out and proceeded to speed up his truck.
Weiss quickly swerved at the last moment, taking out her Opal Claymore and slicing the truck from the side, taking off a door in the process.
"Hmph!" Adam chuckled as he weaved his head to avoid a headshot from Tulin as Weiss turned around and faced Adam once more. With a smirk, Adam pressed a button as rockets shot toward Weiss, but Tulin got in the way and fired arrows at the rockets with pinpoint accuracy, making them explode on contact as Weiss fired a powerful laser from the Master Cycle.
"Gragh!" Adam was blown out of the truck… as said truck fell apart instantly as Weiss drove up and quickly gave it a powerful spin, making sure the back wheel struck Adam to send him flying as she turned toward the debris.
"Hmm…" Weiss pondered for a moment and looked down at her Master Cycle. An idea came to her as she drove right up to the remains as she used her hand to start the fusion process.
End BGM
As she began, she started to think about Ruby's stories that she had written. She remembered that Ruby was also a really good illustrator and drew pictures of the various universes she wrote.
One such picture came to her mind.
She closed her eyes and raised her hand up high as green light wrapped around her.
"Oho? What's all this?" Tyrian wondered. He could have easily jumped in and poisoned her again, but he was curious to see what creation she'd make.
"Mmmph…" Adam rubbed his head as he looked at the green light. "What…?"
Once the light stopped, both men would look on in awe at what Weiss created.
The creation hovered off of the ground as it was covered in the Master Cycle's plating, but it was in the shape of the Blue Falcon, decked out with a horse hood ornament on the front as the glass had a light blue tint to it.
BGM: Big Blue (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe)
"There's no way…" Adam began in disbelief before growling, snapping his fingers to get himself a new vehicle as he climbed in. "Take my ride, will you?"
Weiss glared at Adam. "Let's do this."
Both of them charged at each other, ready to ram into the other but Weiss quickly turned around and spun like a top, smashing into the front end of the truck that made it slide back as Weiss also bounced back.
Adam shook his head and proceeded to fire rockets at her, but she quickly drove away… and then came shooting out of the darkness and rammed into Adam from the side. He let out a growl and tried to turn, but compared to Weiss, he was slow on turning and proceeded to get hit with lasers or by getting spun into.
Adam positioned himself to face Weiss again. Her sudden hit and run tactic was enough to annoy him. He charged forward toward Weiss as she sped toward him. He fired rockets… only for Weiss to hit a button as the hatch opened up as she launched herself out, her vehicle slamming into his truck and pushing him back right where Weiss wanted as she pulled out her Boulder Claymore and swung down on the top, making the roof cave in as Weiss struck him in the head before landing on the ground and crumpling what remained of the truck.
She turned around and walked back to her vehicle right as the truck exploded behind her, sending Adam flying as he hit the ground and rolled next to her.
End BGM
Weiss knelt down, searching Adam's unconscious body until she found what she was looking for. "Ah… the rune~" She smiled as it was absorbed into her hand. She proceeded to Un-Fuse her machine as it went back to the way it was before snapping her fingers as a copy of what she had created appeared out of thin air.
"Ooooh, I like that~" Weiss smiled. "Hmm… Master Falcon Zero…? Ah, I'll work on it." She said as she immediately felt woozy, holding on to her poisoned wound. Seems as if the adrenaline finally wore off.
"Nnngh… okay… I need to get out of-"
Something sharp struck her back as she let out a surprised gasp of air, as Tyrian had stung her in the back with his tail.
"Bravo! I wonder what else you can think of~?" Tyrian chuckled as Weiss fell on the ground, coughing out a purple liquid.
Tulin's spirit aimed his bow at Tyrian, but a laser struck him down as Salem approached.
"So, it seems as you got a bit more creative." Salem casually said. "Your display of creativity is genuine, but it won't get you anywhere."
Tyrian flipped her around and got on top of her, grasping her by the throat and tightening his grip. "Hahahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!"
He got closer to her face, seeing the terror in her eyes.
"What's the matter? Scorpion got your tongue~?! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
That was bad… Salem thought.
"The itsy bitsy Hylian climbed up a mountain rock~ Down came a scorpion and watched her light go out~! AHAHAHA-"
Suddenly, a laser struck Tyrian, blasting him away.
"Gah!"
"What?" Salem turned her head, only to get shot by another laser as she was sent sliding back a few feet as Whitley came jumping in with Penny flying in and grabbing Weiss.
"Target secure!"
"So you're Salem…" Winter growled deeply.
"Ah, you must be the mother… actually, you look more like a sister." Salem brushed herself off as Purah hopped on the Master Cycle.
"Let's move!" Purah said, firing a laser at Salem who swiftly blocked it with her hand, but the explosion was enough to make smoke fly around as everyone bolted out of there until it was just her, Tyrian and an unconscious Adam.
"Blast it… they got away!" Tyrian growled.
"Let them. I've a feeling we'll be seeing each other again soon."
"Oh, by the way, goddess! That boy in red mentioned a temple in a lava-like area."
"Oh, did he now? Well… let's go investigate for ourselves." Salem walked off with Tyrian accompanying her.
"Soooo… what do we do with him?"
Salem chuckled, snapping her fingers as an aura wrapped around Adam. "A gift that will make him stronger, not to mention immune to the flames."
"Uuuungh…" Adam groaned as he sat up, feeling achy all around and rubbing his head. He would then notice the copy that Weiss left behind. An idea came to him as he hopped in. He turned his head toward Salem and Tyrian walking away.
"I wonder…"
Later…
"Gah!" Weiss woke up, looking around to see where she was.
"You're awake!" Teba said as he approached. "I was just coming to check on you. We found Naydra flying underground and she helped us out of there. Next thing we know, we wind up in Kakariko. The Sheikah have taken the poison out of your body, so you should-"
Weiss's pupils had shrunk during the entire explanation, recalling Salem and Tyrian knocking her around like she was nothing.
"-Weiss?"
Weiss hugged herself as her breathing quickened.
"Weiss, are you okay?" Teba asked… before Weiss let out the loudest shriek she ever could, echoing all over Kakariko.
Girl's definitely going to need some love.
