Nya sat on the stoney stairs watching the sky twist and turn, an effect of the residual realm energy that continued to plague the realm of madness. The sound of sharpening her trident to a fine point filled the air. It was strange, usually the dragons had shown up by now but everything had been so quiet it was starting to worry her.

"I'll be back." she nodded to the Cragling standing guard with her.

Propping herself up with her trident, she slowly made her way around the cradling village, inspecting to see if all the defenses were up to date. After satiating her curiosity and boredom, she turned around and soon found her way back to the front gate, leaning on her trident as she watched the warped sun dip into the horizon.

"Well, Arccrack you ready?" She turned her head to look at the Cragling stretching. "It's almost time for practice."

She still couldn't believe he was an elemental master and a master of an element she had never heard of before. The cradling nodded, and she assumed her position, pointing her trident at the Stoney being.

Opening her flask she pulled some water out, coating her staff. A red energy surrounded the Cragling as he dashed forward, Nya easily sidestepped tapping the cradling on the back with the end of her trident.

"Good, you're getting better at dashing." She positioned herself again. "Now let's see if you can stop this time and change direction."

She really was making this up as she went along, she had no idea how this power worked and truth be told, she was just trying to waste some time before she went back to that blank hut of hers.

She dodged and dodged, and did some more dodging, but each time he was getting better at stopping so there was that. The way Master Wu spoke of the realm of madness she would never have guessed the FSM had popped into the realm.

"Okay I think that's good for tonight." she patted the Craglings back. "See you tomorrow Arccrack."

She watched the starry night sky twist and swirl as she made her way to her hut, her arms stretched behind her head as she dropped her smile. Opening the door she leaned the trident against a bookshelf.

The bed creaked as she slammed herself onto it, she covered her face rubbing it.

She was beyond tired of this, the craglings were sweet in their own way but she could only sit on this same blank bed and eat the same dull mud so many times. Her gaze lingered on the ornate golden dragon at the base of her trident, how her friends and family have the same piece at the end of their weapons. Tears streamed down her face as she turned over shuddering in the darkness.
