Rias was moving around the forest, she got worried when she heard that her sister was already fighting Riser. The Phenex had enough power to match her own so Makima could get seriously hurt while fighting him
"No, I shouldn't be worried! She's smart so she must have a plan." Rias reassured herself
But then a blast of water barely missed her, making Rias jump back, widening her eyes as she looked up, seeing Sona and Seekvaria fighting each other
"Sona-chan and Seek-chan!" Rias said in shock
"And the two young geniuses enter combat! It seems the young Sitri is having issues against the Agares' time magic!" the announcer was heard again
Sona then shot another blast of water at the Agares, who erected a time barrier in front of herself, slowing down the attack and allowing her to dodge out of the way, blasting a magical blast at her, but the young Sitri managed to block it using a magical barrier
"Everyone is giving their best…" Rias thought and shook her head, looking more determined now "It's only fair that I do the same!"
Rias then flew up, charging a sphere of destruction on her hand and throwing it at Sona and Seekvaria, who both moved back to dodge the attacks
"Rias, you dare interrupt us?" Sona questioned
"Quite the bold move." Seekvaria said
The two girls were emanating a scary aura, which made Rias sweat a little, she didn't expect them to be this scary!
"And the other child of the Gremory enters the fight! The three heiresses having an all out fight! What a show!" The announcer yells
"Well, you two shouldn't have let yourselves do open in the first place! Now, get ready to face one of the Twin Princesses of Destruction!" Rias yelled, a red aura emanating from her
"Really…?" Sona deadpanned in her mind, Rias was really dorky sometimes…
"...cool." Seekvaria thought differently though
And so the three young girls blasted magic projectiles at one another, causing a large explosion to happen in the air

Makima was moving back, dodging the attacks from Riser with precision, however her own magic attacks didn't seem to manage to land, he was as nimble as her
"This is starting to go from tricky to annoying." Makima was starting to lose her patience
Which was doing better than Riser, who was done with this and charged at her to tackle the Control Devil, but that opened up an opportunity for her, quickly moving her arms to hold his own and hit his chin with a shoulder hit, making him flinch back
"Oh, I retained my martial arts knowledge too. That means that my swordsmanship should also still be pretty good. Now, what excuse should I use for this? I'll say I've been practicing in secret." Makima said as she began to try and overwhelm Riser with martial arts
Pulling him close and hitting him in the face with a open palm strike, breaking his nose, and following it up with a small spinning jump, kicking him in the side of the head and launching him against a tree, Riser grit his teeth a and pointed his arm at her
"Not this time." Makima snapped her fingers, creating various magic circles around him, which sprouted chains from them and tied him up, stopping his attacks
"Mere chains won't stop me!" Riser yelled, heating up the chains until they melted
Makima widened her eyes and spun around as she approached, at the same time, Riser extended his arms for a magic blast, but Makima slammed her arms on his hand, having them take the attack for a small moment before she hit him I'm the stomach with her rear, breaking the tree and sending him flying back
"WHAT!?" Riser widened his eyes as some blood came out of his mouth, with him rolling around on the ground
Makima looked at her arms, seeing how her sleeves and her skin were now burned to a crisp, some of her flesh also seems to have been burned too, this would take a little while to heal, that's for sure
"And Makima Gremory sends Riser Phenex flying away with an unorthodox strategy! Sacrificing her arms for an advantageous butt slam!" The announcer yelled, making Makima sigh
"It sounds ridiculous when said aloud." The control Devil said, putting a hand on her forehead
She then felt Riser's energy, it seemed that his regeneration is acting up once more
"Hmm, his energy is rising. Oh, Riser's energy is rising. That's a fun pun. I'll try and tell Rias that once we're done with this." Makima thought casually
Riser then charged through the trees to get to Makima, who tapped her foot on the ground, activating another teleportation circle and escaping the attack, making Riser scream in anger as he looked around for her
"Right here." Makima waved as she pointed her finger gun at him, her being right behind a tree to his side "Bang."
And so Riser was blasted back, and just in time to dodge Zephydor who came flying past them, and right after him came Sairaorg, it seems these two have just started fighting
"The young Bael and Glasya-Labolas start their fight and already disturb another one! Will they join forces and fight the young Gremory and Phenex, or are we going to see another free for all!?" The announced sounded more excited now
"He's weirdly excited seeing a bunch of children fighting." Makima thought
Sairaorg looked around, seeing the absurdly angry Phenex and the casual Makima, he seemed to realize that those two joining forces would cause for a big problem in this competition
"Zephydor, it would be best for us both if we joined forces." Sairaorg suggested
"Yeah, as if I'd join up with you! You just kicked my shit in!" Zephydor yelled at him
"Hey, you two!" Riser yelled "Don't you dare interfere with my fight!"
"Boys, boys~! It's alright, no need to be so nervous." Makima said, walking into the open like this was nothing major, before she pointed at Zephydor and shot a chain at the back of his head, with it passing right through him, making his eyes glow yellow for a moment before the chain disappeared "Now, how about you be a good boy and take care of those two for me~?"
"Yes, ma'am!" Zephydor said and blasted magical projectiles at Riser and Sairaorg
"What the-" Riser yelled before jumping back and dodging the attack
Sairaorg did the same, confused as to what his cousin just did. Was that some kind of mind control magic!? And now she was just gone! What the hell just happened!?

Makima walked into a deeper part of the forest, sighing while she shook her arms up and down, they were hurting a lot even if her expression didn't even show a semblance of discomfort
"He is quite the strong piece. If I can make him submit then I can make good use of him." Makima mumbled, putting a finger on her chin
"Quite the good strategy if I do say so myself." Another voice was heard, making Makima's eyes move to see who it was
From the shadows of the forest walked in a boy with dark green hair, which made Makima narrow her eyes
"Diodora Astaroth, I presume. I saw your name in the list of participants." Makima said straightening her back
"What an honor to be recognized by you of all people." Diodora said, walking around her "You know, I did notice something. You seem to be similar to me."
"I'm well aware of that. I suppose you wish to negotiate with me, right?" Makima asked
"You catch on quick. What do you say we form an alliance? You help me, and I help you." Diodora suggested
"I'll pass." Makima said casually making Diodora blink surprised "Knowing you there's a high chance that you will betray me when you think I'm at my weakest and then try to use me as a form of ransom for something you want, most likely when my sister gets something like that."
"But you don't know me, you can't possibly know that." Diodora argued but Makima snapped her fingers
"Notice how you didn't say I was wrong." That made Diodora flinch, and in turn, Makima's smile widened
This was impossible! How did she have him figured out so easily? However, she didn't, she was bluffing her way through this, and it actually managed to work
"That should anger him enough to make him attack me." Makima thought and she was right
Various magic circles appeared around Diodora, with him getting his composure back
"I see, well, it saddens me that you would refuse my offer, but I guess there's nothing I can do now." Diodora said, his smile increasing
And so various swords were shot at Makima, with her jumping to the side to dodge them, starting to run around him to dodge his attacks
"This is it? Creation magic? That's disappointing." Makima thought, his power was quite underwhelming
The Control Devil did a small twirl while running, creating a magic circle and taking a sword out of it, stopping on her tracks and parrying all of the swords away from herself, the experience from her previous life coming in handy right now, before she pointed her free hand forward and blasted electricity at Diodora, hitting him and making fly backwards, before she lifted two fingers up, making a magic circle appear under him and blast various shards of ice at him before he fell on the ground
"D-dammit…" Diodora grit his teeth, struggling to get up
"I expected more. As you are now, you're useless to me." Makima said, sighing in disappointment
"I may not be the most powerful, but my intellect is leagues above my peers. I'm sure someone of your caliber has noticed it." Diodora said, trying to maintain his composure
"He's desperate." Makima thought, letting him speak a little more
"If we join forces, I can take you out of whatever bad deal you may have, your sister was quite adamant about other houses joining because of that, right? It's easy to know when she was screaming about it. So, what do you say? Spare me here, and we will team up and climb up the hierarchy-" Diodora continued spewing meaningless things until Makima raised a finger to stop his talking "H-huh?"
"A corpse is talking." Makima said before turning around and walking away
And in that moment, Diodora's head was detached from his body, making his entire being be consumed in light and disappear moments after
"Diodora Astaroth has been eliminated!" The announcer yelled

"Astaroth has been defeated?" Sona panted
The three heiresses had been fighting the whole time and have started to get tired, but Rias was clearly in a much better situation than the two of them at the moment
"Sairaorg Bael and Zephidor Glasya-Labolas have been eliminated!" the announced came out
"Hmm…" Seekvaria narrowed her eyes
"Cousin Sairaorg too!?" Rias widened her eyes
It seems this battle was coming to an end, and so they can't back off this fight now
"Focus on the fight at hand." Sona scolded Rias, binding her with a water snake
Rias let out a yelp but quickly used a sphere of destruction around her hands to free herself, destroying the water snake, Seekvaria then created a time barrier around Rias, slowing her down, before Sona created various magic circles around her
"And this is over." Sona said before she saw Rias glowing red "What!?"
Rias used the power of destruction to destroy the time barrier, freeing herself and creating a massive ball of pure destruction above herself
"I'm not going down that easily!" Rias screamed, shooting the giant ball at the two girls

Riser was panting, he had managed to defeat those two idiots but that took way too much energy from him, even his regeneration was slow now, that Sairaorg guy was specially problematic even if the only thing special about him was his physical strength
"What the hell was that guy?" The Phenex questioned
Before he felt a giant tremor happening around the entire area, accompanied by an explosion that nearly took out the entire forest out of the ground with the shockwave alone, that made him cover his face to try and protect himself
"And Rias Gremory shows off her full power to everyone! Looks like this one has a lot of potential!" The announcer yelled
Riser scoffed, that was just pure power without any thought behind it, any simpleton could do something like that and an even dumber simpleton could dodge it no problem
"Wow, my sister sure is something, huh?"
Riser widened his eyes when a familiar voice appeared behind him, turning around quickly only to be greeted by a punch to the face
"Also, hello again, Riser." Makima smiled innocently at him
"And the Phenex and Gremory return to their fight! Seems like they are ready to finish what they started folks!" The announcer was really into this now
"Got done hiding?" Riser asked, cleaning some blood that came out of his nose. Damnit! His regeneration is too slow now!
"Pretty much, I'm in no better position than you so hiding at this point is pretty much useless to me." Makima shrugged, not seeming that bothered by her situation
"Don't think that just because I'm tired that you can take me on!" Riser yelled, moving his arm to the side and sending a wave of flames at Makima
But the Control Devil extends her hand and uses the power of destruction, shooting a beam about her size at the wave, creating an opening on it, allowing the attack to pass through without even hitting her
"My turn." Makima said, appearing in front of him and spinning around
Riser felt three punches hit his stomach, making him grit his teeth, he then grabbed Makima's leg and slammed her against a tree, making her widen her eyes, before he blasted more fire against her, sending her flying back
"You'll regret underestimating me!" Riser yelled while Makima slowly got up, her legs shaking, and did her finger gun again "Not even your weird finger move will work now! I'll show you the true power of a phoenix!"
Riser yelled, using a massive amount of fire magic to create a giant flaming bird around him, moving his arms forwards and sending it towards Makima, making the Gremory widen her eyes at the approaching attack
"Well, this looks unwinnable." Makima thought, before having an idea "Unless…"
She then focused, breathing in and concentrating the power of destruction around her hand. She never thought about doing this because she didn't think it would be possible, but at desperate times you try whatever you have. And that gamble worked. A small ball of destruction appeared at the point of her finger, but then something began to happen to it, the energy began to get unstable, getting darker and gaining some yellow circles around itself
"Huh?" Makima herself was confused by that "Bang?"
The chaotic energy was then shot from her finger, sending her back a little before passing through the giant phoenix effortlessly
"What!?" Riser yelled
And then was hit right in the chest by that attack, his entire body began to feel horrible, it felt like it was contorting, extending and retracting, being torn apart and put back together, all at the same time, he began to scream, his entire body being consumed in that energy as he fell on the ground, before his body turned to light
"Riser Phenex has been eliminated!" The announcer yelled in shock
"What was that?" Makima wondered, not in confusion, but in fascination
But then she felt her body shudder, her eyes rolled to the back of her head as blood came out of her nose, and she passed out right there, her body becoming light and disappearing

Makima woke up in a hospital bed, putting a hand on her head and shaking it, as if trying to see if she was really awake
"Sister! You're up!" Rias yelled, running into her room
"Oh, hello Rias. What happened?" Makima asked, still recovering from her awakening
"I don't really know, it looks like you passed out due to overexertion after beating Riser. But you beat him!" Rias beamed
"Well, that's nice." Makima sighed, getting out of the bed, still dizzy "Who won the whole competition?"
"Sona-chan did. She and Seek-chan tag teamed me and when Seek-chan tried to beat me, Sona blasted us both out of nowhere!" Rias said, puffing her cheeks at her unfair defeat
"Aww, don't be mad sister, I'm sure you put on quite the fight." Makima said, patting her twin sister on the head
"I sure did!" Rias said nodding "But mommy and daddy are waiting for you, come on!"
Rias pulled Makima out of her room, with the Control Devil giggling a little as she was dragged along.
Makima and Rias reunited with their parents, hugging them and being congratulated on doing so good on the competition, and assuring that Sirchez was going to be impressed when they got back home. But while they were reading the teleportation circle, Makima saw a rat running out of the mansion, a rat with golden eyes
"So that meeting is over." Makima thought "Having one of my powers active while I was unconscious was a weird feeling, but I'm starting to recall what was said there… Chaos magic, huh?"
Makima thought, she had a small rat running around connected to her, allowing her to hear around what was happening inside that place while she was out, even if her being unconscious made it incredibly complicated to work and didn't really give her the full memories of what it saw, but from what she can recall at the moment, Zeoticus and various other high class devils were having a discussion to what that power that Makima used was, it wasn't something that the Power of Destruction could do, that's for sure, and how chaotic it was gave them the idea of it being Chaos Magic, and that's where the memories get foggy
"I can't remember anything past the mention of that for now, but I can make my own assumptions with it." Makima thought as she was teleported back to the Gremory estate along with her family "My theory is that this power was created by mixing the powers I possessed as the Control Devil with the Power of Destruction, that combination creating chaos. Well, destroying control does only leave chaos, so it makes sense, but there has to be something more to this."
"Sister!" Rias yelled
"Eh?" Makima blinked and turned to Rias
"You're spacing out again!" Rias puffed her cheeks
"Oh, sorry. Didn't even notice, haha." Makima chuckled, trying to downplay what just happened
"What is it that you live thinking about so much anyways?" Rias asks, walking into the mansion
"I'm just so excited for us to get our own peerages, that's all." Makima smiled sweetly, walking next to her sister
"Oh yeah! It's just a little longer and we will be able to do big Devil business! I'm so excited!" Rias beamed at her sister, making her giggle
"Good to see we share a sentiment." Makima smiled
It would only take a few more years and Makima would be able to explore the human world how she pleased once more, and then, the true fun begins there.

The prime minister of Japan was having a lot of trouble working at office, there were just so many problems to deal with! The stress was getting to him, the entire world could be thrown to chaos right now! Especially with the new project that Russia seems to be working on
"This is horrible… What can I do!? If the people find out about this…" he walked into his office and widened his eyes, taking a step back
Sitting on top of his desk was a red haired little girl, her golden eyes staring right at him and a innocent smile that hid more than tons of malice behind it was plastered on her face, her feet moved back and forth, and on her body was a black dress, she was like the perfect mixture of an angel and a devil, and she was waiting for him
"Hello, mister Prime Minister." Her voice sounded sweet, like all she wanted was to do good
"W-who are you!?" The prime minister was in shock
"I want to help, after all, I've heard that you have discovered something very bad that could send the entire population into a panic. Along with the plans of other countries and the problems with your own, you must be so stressed." Makima said, putting a finger on her chin as she looked up
"H-how do you know that?" The prime minister widened his eyes
"That is not important right now. What is important is that I can help you deal with all of it." Makima said, smiling at him and extending her hand to him "So, what do you say, mister Prime Minister? Want to make a contract with me?"
and the child Makima part is over! Next chapter we will get into the cannon of the show! And it has been decided that Makima's Perrage shall be the one with CSM characters altered to be part of the DxD verse! How great!
