Morning: A Troubled Arrival
The school bell rang loudly over Hanamura High, signaling the start of another day. Students walked through the gates, chatting, laughing—except for one girl, who quietly made her way inside, keeping her head low.
Miku Nakano, a 17-year-old girl with long, straight, reddish-brown hair that reached past her shoulders, walked toward her shoe locker. Her blue eyes were hidden behind bangs as she carefully avoided eye contact with anyone. She wore a dark blue school blazer over a white dress shirt, a green plaid skirt, black thigh-high stockings, and brown loafers. Her signature headphones rested around her neck, but they weren't playing anything—just a comfort mechanism for her.
She sighed, opening her locker. As expected, there was another cruel note stuffed inside.
"Loser."
"Do my math homework or else."
"Why do you even come to school?"
She quickly shoved the notes into her pocket, hoping no one saw them.

Meanwhile…
Outside the school gates, a motorcycle engine revved loudly. A tall, lean, yet muscular figure stepped off the bike, swinging his leg over smoothly.
Naruto Uzumaki had finally arrived at Hanamura High—the fourth school he had been transferred to after getting expelled from three others. Standing at 6'3", he was an imposing presence. His spiky blond hair was messy, his blue eyes sharp and mischievous, and three whisker-like marks on each cheek gave him a unique look.
He wore a black and orange custom jacket, left unzipped over a plain white T-shirt, paired with black jeans and orange-and-white sneakers. Around his neck hung a pair of large black headphones, blasting music as he checked his phone lazily.
Students whispered as he entered.
"That's the new transfer student?"
"I heard he got kicked out of three schools!"
"He looks scary..."
Naruto ignored the chatter, stretching his arms with a yawn.
Naruto: "Tch… another school, huh? Wonder how long I'll last here…"
He cracked his knuckles, already bored.

Classroom 2-B: First Encounter
Naruto walked into Class 2-B, where the teacher, a middle-aged man with glasses, sighed upon seeing him.
Teacher: "Alright, class. We have a new transfer student… again. Introduce yourself."
Naruto stuffed his hands in his pockets, scanning the room. His eyes landed on Miku, who immediately looked away. He smirked slightly before addressing the class.
Naruto: "Yo. Name's Naruto Uzumaki. Seventeen. I like music, pranks, and not being told what to do. Don't bother me, and we'll be cool."
The students whispered again. Some smirked, thinking they got a new troublemaker in school. Others, like Miku, simply lowered their gaze, hoping to avoid him.
Teacher: "Sigh Just… take the seat in the back."
Naruto casually made his way to the back row, dropping into his chair with a lazy grin.

Lunchtime: The Bullies Make Their Move
As the lunch bell rang, students rushed out to enjoy their break. Miku, however, sat quietly at her desk, pulling out her homemade bento—a simple meal of rice, eggs, and fish. But before she could take a bite…
???: "Yo, Nakano. Hand it over."
Miku froze. A tall male student, Ryo, and his two friends towered over her desk. Ryo was one of the worst bullies in school.
Miku (softly): "P-please… not today…"
Ryo: "Tch. Don't act all innocent. You know the rules. Your lunch is ours."
He snatched the bento box from her hands. His friends laughed as they opened it, mocking her food.
???: "Oi."
A low, commanding voice interrupted them. The bullies turned to see Naruto standing behind them, arms crossed, an unreadable expression on his face.
Naruto: "Didn't your mom teach you not to steal from girls?"
The classroom went silent. Nobody had ever stepped in to defend Miku before.
Ryo: "Stay out of this, new guy. This isn't your concern."
Naruto clicked his tongue, stepping closer until he was towering over Ryo.
Naruto: "Lemme put it this way… You give her food back, or I give you a free trip to the nurse's office. Your call."
The tension in the air was thick. Ryo hesitated—Naruto was taller, stronger, and looked like he didn't care about the consequences.
With a scoff, Ryo shoved the bento box back onto Miku's desk.
Ryo: "Tch. Whatever."
He walked off, his friends following.
Miku stared at her bento in shock. No one had ever stood up for her before.
Miku (softly): "T-thank you…"
Naruto grinned, plopping down next to her.
Naruto: "No big deal. Just hate seeing punks like that think they run things."
Miku hesitated, then did something unbelievable for her. She slid half of her bento box toward Naruto.
Miku: "U-um… if you want… you can have some…"
Naruto blinked, surprised. He smirked and picked up a piece of fish.
Naruto: "Heh. Not bad. You make this yourself?"
Miku nodded shyly.
Naruto: "Cool. Guess we can sit together for lunch, huh?"
Miku's face turned slightly pink, but for the first time in a long while, she smiled.
And so, the delinquent and the quiet girl's unlikely friendship began.
