The Delinquent The Quiet Girl

Episode 10 – Flustered

Morning: The Struggle Continues

Miku couldn't stop thinking about it.

Her crush.

On Naruto Uzumaki.

Every time she looked at him, her heart did that weird fluttery thing again.

Every time he teased her, her face turned red before she could stop it.

And the worst part?

Naruto kept noticing.

As they walked to school, he side-eyed her.

Naruto: "Alright, spill it. What's up with you?"

Miku tightened her grip on her schoolbag.

Miku: "I-I don't know what you're talking about."

Naruto raised an eyebrow, stepping in front of her to block her path.

Naruto: "You've been weird all day yesterday too. You sick or something?"

Miku looked down, refusing to meet his gaze.

Miku: "I-I'm fine."

Naruto leaned in slightly, eyes narrowing.

Naruto: "...You're lying."

Miku's breath hitched.

She was so close to panicking—

When suddenly, Naruto grinned.

Naruto: "Hah! You totally are hiding something!"

Miku gasped, stepping back.

Miku: "I-I—"

Naruto crossed his arms, his smirk growing.

Naruto: "What, you got some embarrassing secret? Did you do something bad? Ohhh, maybe you—"

Miku: "L-Let's just go to school!"

She rushed past him, face completely red.

Naruto stared after her, confused but highly amused.

At School: The Prank Backfires

Naruto wasn't one to let things go easily.

And now that he knew Miku was hiding something, he wanted to mess with her even more.

During class, he tapped her shoulder from behind.

Naruto: "Psst."

Miku tried to ignore him.

Naruto: "Oi. Miku."

She clenched her pencil, determined not to react.

Then Naruto leaned forward and whispered in her ear:

Naruto: "Are you in love or something?"

Miku jerked so hard she knocked her textbook off her desk.

The whole class turned to look at her.

Miku, face burning, quickly picked it up.

The teacher sighed.

Teacher: "Nakano, please focus."

Miku nodded stiffly, but she could hear Naruto chuckling behind her.

Lunch Break: The Payback

Miku was still recovering from earlier when she suddenly got an idea.

A way to get back at Naruto.

They sat under their usual tree, Naruto scrolling through his phone as he ate.

Miku took a deep breath, then softly said:

Miku: "Naruto."

Naruto glanced at her.

Naruto: "Hm?"

Miku leaned in just a little, tilting her head.

Then, in the softest, sweetest voice possible, she asked:

Miku: "Are you in love?"

Naruto froze mid-bite.

His ears turned red.

Miku gasped internally.

It worked?!

Naruto coughed, looking away.

Naruto: "Tch—what kind of question is that?!"

Miku smiled triumphantly.

Miku: "What? You asked me earlier."

Naruto grumbled, stuffing food in his mouth to avoid answering.

Miku giggled.

For once—

She won.

After School: A Different Kind of Tension

As they walked home, the mood was… different.

Naruto wasn't teasing her as much.

He kept glancing at her, as if thinking about something.

Miku, feeling bolder than usual, decided to test something.

She gently nudged his arm.

Miku: "Hey, Naruto."

Naruto looked at her.

Miku: "You never answered my question."

Naruto blinked.

Then—for the first time ever—

He looked nervous.

Naruto: "Tch. Whatever, let's just go."

He walked ahead, rubbing the back of his neck.

Miku stared.

Wait… was he actually flustered?

Her heart skipped a beat.

And for some reason…

She felt happy.
