XR loves his new relationship with Nos for he was getting more than just sweet romance, he was getting a lot of forms of love in the nearly whole summer. Since their first date, Buzz has requested distance missions for a week to nearly a few weeks at a time. At first he was ok with it, he could get more credit for this and save up on that place Nos showed him. But after a week away and just spending 1 day together, he was pulled back into the missions. It was another week of a mission and only an hour with Nos. The pendant he keeps inside him was the best reassurance for him so when it was the 4th week of a mission, he rejected to join and requested to step out of the mission. To everyone's shock, he left star command to go see his loving boyfriend who'll welcome him with so much love and kisses but he was also going to be there for Vanet when it was her last week of summer school. He was definitely not gonna miss the last day of summer school for a mission.
And today was the last day of summer school.
He makes his way to the agency and sees Nos stepping out and he runs over to him and scoops him into his arms. "Heya gorgeous~!"
"Mica mea iubire." Nos smiles softly and purrs before kissing him. He missed his mate so much, he sparked up but calmed himself as his love put him down. He hugs him tightly, "I thought you were joining your team on the expected mission."
"And miss the last day of summer school today? No way." He grins. "Besides, I want to hopefully make up for the lost time together and you told me today especially is important." XR kisses his cheek, he never thought he would be this affectionate but he enjoyed this a lot. "And I wanted to ask how everything is going? Is she having a good time? Does she need help with anything?" He had been worried since he left and Nos told him about the date today. "Is everything set up too?"
"Yes and because of you, she will be very surprised. "By the way, how did you get the gift sent here so quickly?" Nos was curious.
"I had to pay a good amount of credits but it's worth it. Besides, this is more important and I can always save up again." XR used what he's saving for the house so he can pay to transfer the gift over here on time.
"I will make it up to you." Nos wraps an arm around his love's right arm. "It is already set. Do you think she will be ok with it? Or will it be too much?"
"I'm not sure but one thing I do know we'll be there for her." He reassures him. "And you know it'll be the best for her." XR walks with him out as he is thinking what they can do to spend the rest of the few days before Buzz can ruin their time together. "I know it's been almost a few weeks since our date but I was wondering would movies at a cozy spot at home be good?"
Nos nodded as they walk together to the school. he listens to XR about his travel and brought him special stones he collected from space.
"I know they are probably worthless-!" He stops when Nos kisses his cheek.
"Thank you XR, I can make something beautiful out of them and they are worth it because it is from you." Nos purrs happily. "And you cannot assume their value, you be surprise how rare you can find gems in rocks." He accepts them and place them in his bag he carries.
XR feels his core pulsing but cools his jets and grins. "I like that alot." He walks woth Nos and sees its almost time but as they wait, XR perks hearing some kids talking about Daphne or something going to bother Vanet. He secretly and as discreetly as possible, had his hand pop off and change to his robotic one and hurries off.
Meanwhile
Vanet was collecting her classwork and smiled a bit to show her two dads what she made for them. She couldn't help but feel happy that she was going to spend time with them for summer and her Viitorul tată is going to hang out with her for the day! Her papa told her he was going to do an errand that was unexpected but she was still happy! She was happy that tonight she get to go to the movies with her dads and Bunicul. She looked at the school calendar and saw it was her daddy's birthday.
July 28
Her smile faltered a bit. She frowns and looks out the window, thinking about her dad. When he passed away, they did not get to bury him, or even say a final goodbye. She feels remorseful now that she was happy on the day of her father's birthday and it was wrong she nearly forgot.
"Aww! Is the little baby crying?" Delphine walks in to see Vanet was crying.
Vanet ignores her and puts the book away and her gifts.
"Hey I'm talking to you, little cheater!"
Vanet had wished the teacher was here but the teacher left to talk to the office since it was after school and the phones were down.
"You cheated at the winter gallery and the summer wall!"
"I only showed the lantern My dads and I painted. I wanted to show how special it is to me-" Vanet was pushed and fell and Delphine sneered.
"How can you outshine me when all you do is mope and be useless!" Delphine glares.
Vanet, although younger, was having a hard time trying to not cry.
Just as Delphine was going to speak once more, she was screaming when she saw a scary ghost appear.
Vanet looked up and sees the ghost but saw it was not really a ghost. She looks up to see a small but familiar robotic hand and she smiles to see it. "Thank you Viitorul tată." She picks up the hand and takes it with her but hides it just as her teacher came to tell her that her father and another man with him are here for her.
"Vanet, is the man your father's friend?" The teacher asked.
"Yes, Papa likes Mr. Newman a lot." Vanet answers.
"Do you think Mr. Newman is good?" The teacher asked.
"Yes, he saved Papa." Vanet added.
"I see…."
Vanet frowns seeing the teacher looks disappointed but smiles to see her papa and her Viitorul tată.
"Sparks!" XR smiles and Vanet runs to him and he catches her. "You made it to the last day of school Sparky!" He hugs her and lets her down so she can hug her papa. He smiled a bit but then thought of introducing her to the commander till the thought died. 'He doesn't want to see me as his son, no use forcing that.' He thought but smiled how at least she can meet XL. As soon as they left, he clears his throat. "So today you made it out of summer school and passed the challenges of summer! What will you do next?" He held her hand and heard her giggle.
"I want to…." She pauses and stops.
XR stops and kneels to her. "Is everything okay Sparky?"
Vanet hugs him tightly and cries her heart out and all XR could do was hug her. "Daddy's birthday it's today…." She tries to hold back her tears.
"I know little bat, and we will do what you feel is right by him. It is still a special day for you and for him." Nos reassures her.
"I wish I got to say goodbye." She cries out. "But I don't know what to do now."
Nos frowns and looks at XR and then back to Vanet. "Since today is a special day, XR and I have a surprise for you but can you close your eyes?" He asked and she did so. Nos nodded to XR and they headed
to the location. It took a while but they made it to a small part in the forest. "Alright, you can open them."
Vanet opens her eyes and sees it was a head stone but it had a picture of her parents together carved and her Bunicul was there waiting for them. The opening was small to fit a few items in the ground but she sees two urns were set together. She knew they were her parents in urns
"It took a while to find pictures of them so I tried to make some calls and any sources through the agency. XR had helped too in finding your father's urn or his body and…"
"We did!" XR walks over and takes out from his chest panel flowers but is a bit crushed. "Sorry. It took a while but when I was on those boring missions, I was passing Montresa, and I found your dad's urn by chance with your papa's help. We thought it would be a good idea to make a special burial for them and I brought flowers from your home planet. Sorry about that but I did bring seeds too."
Vanet accepts the flowers and places them by the headstone. She looks at her parents' urns, much more decorative and better than the original containers. She has recalled the times her mom was sad on this day, how much it was hard on her every year. She didn't know what to say as she sat down. "Daddy, mommy, I love you both and I want to tell you both I am safe and I love my two dads. They protect me and help me and you would like them. I miss you a lot and I hope you both are happy." She cried but her voice was soft as she just kept crying. "I'm so sorry….!"
XR frowns at the sight of Vanet there, losing her parents is painful and seeing her like this. He looks to Nos who was quiet but he can see there was guilt and sorrow for Vanet. He remembered Nos told him how much he felt that day but he knows without telling him, Nos felt he could have found the mother if he had known; just maybe there was a slimmer of hope. But XR wondered if he did, would Nos still be in Vanet's life? Would Vanet and her mother continue hiding away and Nos and he be none the wiser?
He holds Nos's hand in his, comforting his boyfriend as they stood by till Vanet told them she was ready. He didn't need to know the what ifs but only how Vanet will be and to step up as a 3rd dad for her.
When Vanet finished, she stayed by Nos while XR and Nosfer began to bury the urns together. Nos would have helped but Vanet asked him to stand with him and he did not wish to let her become by herself even when they are in the same space. "We are here little bat."
When it was done, they made their way back home but just as they made it, XR was stopped by Nosfer.
"I would like to talk to you." Nosfer spoke.
"O-of course!" XR follows him, this was the kind of serious talk he was worried about. Although he's dating Nos recently, he was worried he could be stepping out of line despite him and Nos just kissing and cuddling when they're alone and when around Vanet, they hold hands. But he was worried he might have done something wrong. He walks with him away from the house but he was worried if Nosfer was going to kill him. But he didn't think about it when he saw there was a cabin not too far in the eye's view.
"There's a cabin here?" XR was surprised and saw that unlike Atu's home, this cabin looked like it belonged in the forest and it was closer to the mountain path.
"I know you and fiu are dating and I overheard you wanting to live in the town but I thought you might like to be closer." Nosfer spoke.
XR was shocked and looks to the cabin that had a patio and it wasn't big but it was pretty nice and more modern than old fashioned. "Are you selling me the cabin?"
"I am giving it to you, I don't need money or credit." Nosfer waves it off.
XR would have accepted it without a care, but this was not a random stranger that was conning him or being good, well Nosfer is a good man, but this was his boyfriend's father. He couldn't accept this. "I can't just accept it like that, at least not for free. I mean this is what i was hoping for but I want to show Nos I earned this place without, you know, help. I mean let me pay for it."
Nosfer can tell XR was really serious and mature. He can honestly say he did not like the little robot at first, he knew Nos-4-a2 had XR in his core and when he saw XR meeting Nos at the shop for the first time, he knew his intentions. However, this little bot showed him wrong and became someone Nos can trust and rely on. It amazed him XR was being different since these months and he is being supportive and protective as well as caring. He is giving him the house on the fact Nos will not be far away. But he can see XR will not accept the cabin without paying the fairness of the cabin.
"Then you will pay differently. You can help me around the cafe or pick up errands. This will only be two days of the week and if called on missions, you can let me know."
"I can do that." XR grins. "Alright deal." He holds his hand out and Nosfer shakes it.
"Thank you XR but you can check it out afterwards and ask Nos for help." Nosfer spoke.
"Actually I'm going to surprise him, especially when he's gonna be so amazed. It looks like a pretty good space so maybe I can add more rooms to it." XR was already thinking of what to do and he knows his buddy can help him out.
"We best get back to the home before fiu comes to look for us." Nosfer spoke.
XR can imagine Nos pacing around and worried but then he figured this was the perfect time to talk to Nosfer. "Since it's a long walk, mind we chat? I know Nos talks really great about you, but can you tell me about yourself?" He was nervous but he saw the old vampire smile.
"Well I was actually from another galaxy farther from here." Nosfer answers.
"No way! I always wondered about that and must have a lot of stories." XR smiles and hears him talk and he can't believe he is very old.
"To be frank, I was a menace in my own way but when I came here I met another immortal one and he was a friend though he was a pharaoh of some sort." Nosfer added and XR felt he should probably keep that to himself. All he could do was listen to him and feel he was getting to know him better and honestly, Nosfer and Nos were more alike than he knew and he couldn't help but feel envious but happy. He was let down that it ended when they got to the house but he was happy to see Nos and Vanet waiting. He sees them happy to see them and he felt a bit flustered at the thought of coming home to Nos, and how he feels happy about it. But then he thought of his brother. 'Would it be too soon?' He thought but he hasn't told XL that he was dating or about Nos! He felt bad but not entirely because he knows his brother's reaction well.
But he's gonna have to tell him sooner or later.
XR walks in after Nofer as he is greeted with a kiss and a hug from Nos. "So still up for the movie?" He grins when Nos nodded but sees Vanet go with Bunicul to the kitchen. "Is she ok?"
"Yes and no but she is doing much better than before." Nos replies. "I think knowing her parents are together now has given her a relief." He can tell the way her ears were a bit more up.
"Glad about that, which brings us to a new problem: your ex partner in crime, my big brother." XR spoke and can hear Nos's systems alarming as they sat on the couch. "It's not a soon to do yet but I think you should talk to him, the better acceptance he can be…?" He knew it was more a question than an answer but he knows Nos is still working on things but he really hopes his brother and boyfriend get along.
Nos was not exactly happy and the opposite of thrilled to see XL, he would go without seeing him. But things changed, he is dating XR and this is something he cannot push off. That and this was something important to XR, especially when XL is his only family. He will not go against XR on this.
"I know it's not something you're thrilled to do-"
"I am willing to talk to him and make amends with him." Nos answers surprising XR.
"Are you sure? I know it's still a big step and I don't want you to push yourself. I know you're not even close to seeing Ty," he can tell that was a hard topic. "Maybe seeing XL is a bad idea too."
"XL I can handle it but I am not doing this for closure." He reaches and holds XR's hand. "You are sacrificing a lot for me, and you are sacrificing a lot." He wished he could do more and perhaps this was another way to do right for his love. "You have given me so much and I want to do right by you."
"Aw Babe," XR pulls him into his arms and hugs him. "I know I say it a lot but I love you and you have no idea this means a lot to me." He holds him close and lies back with Nos slightly on top.
Nos smiles and purrs and and just enjoys the moment until they have to separate when they sense Vanet coming along with Nosfer who brought popcorn and their dinner. "I can set up the movie for us." Nos got up as he went to set up the movie. XR thinks of how to talk to XL before he decides to message XL to meet up tomorrow.

Heard you're dating?! [
XR felt a tad nervous but it was fine! 'I really hope he's not that mad…' He was worried but sees Nos sitting next to him as the movie starts. He smiles and leans against him but feels nos shifted and was now laying on him as they watch the movie together. Usually he likes being the one to hold but he liked being on top of Nos. He smiles, feeling Nos chest vibrate, sensing the core inside. 'I can feel nervous later; right now I wanna enjoy tonight.' He grins as he watches the movie with Nos and his family. Later on both Vanet and Nosfer left the two bots asleep on the couch.
The next day at Cosmo's
XR was as his robotic self, waiting for XL to come and was worried Buzz was here. Luckily no sign of him or 42 but he can't help but feel nervous about this hangout.
"XR!"
He perked to his brother's voice and turned to see him in his fax machine body . He's happy to see him but he can tell XL was not thrilled but keeping up a smile for him. He raises his hand for him to come over and he hurries over to XL.
"I'm happy you're doing good and getting better…." XL's smile turned to a frown.
"But you think I'm rushing into things." XR can tell he was hearing it from Buzz.
"I trust you lil' bro, and you are smart but this guy is bad news. I know he's gonna trap you." XL glares.
This perked up XR. 'Wait a moment,' "XL, when you mean by trap-"
"XR, he's not organic. He's-" he stops and leans forward. "Nos-4-a2." He whispers.
XR blinks in surprise before he laughs.
"XR he's after you." XL whispers out.
"XL, I know Nosferatu is Nos and I knew it for months now." XR explains and sees the shock. "Do you want me to explain it or share my memories?" He asked.
"Share it." XL grumbles, not having it.
XR pops out a memory card copy and hands it to XL who takes it and begins through it until he hands it back. "So you chased after Nos? He didn't try to seduce you first." XL was fairly surprised but then wondered if Nos was the cause of XR's changes.
"Well he didn't seduce me first but after making it official, he did." He grins. "He's really charming and cute when he gets shy." XR gushes and XL last recall of Nos said otherwise.
"I can't see it." He can't see it at all. "So he's been good to you?" XL asks, that was the one of the many important questions.
"He is and he's been the best and understanding as a boyfriend and a friend." He smiles. "Which brings me to an important subject."
"Let me guess, you think he and I were something? Fat chance and I don't like guys!" XL glares.
XR kept calm but he never suspected them as a thing, he can honestly tell the signs were there they didn't like each other. "Never occurred to me but I was hoping you and Nos would find some mutual grounds? For me?"
"Look I can do it but I doubt that energy fested monster will." XL crosses his arms.
"But he did, he said he's willing to meet up any time you want on your time. However, you have to meet at Valder town on the capital planet." XR added.
"Really? He didn't fight you or say anything like a villain?" XL was surprised.
"Nope, he understood that this is important to me that he works it out with you so please promise me you will too?" XR pleads to him.
XL frowns and sighs. "Fiiiiiiine, but I'm not being nice just cause he's dating you."
"And he expects that." XR replies but ducks when he sees 42 enter. He takes the Memory card back. "Wanna see my new place?" He asked.
"Sure." XL spoke. "Wait are you going to make me see your boyfriend?" XL glares.
"No and I'm surprising him in my own way." He grins and he takes XL and hurries off with him before carrying him in his organic form and flies off.
42 tries to catch up to XR but he is too fast and sees him fly out like he was running from a monster. She felt hurt he would run off from her but she needed to find out what makes this creepy goth so special?! She thinks about what to do when she decides to snoop into the diner's security room. She peaks in and sees there's the footage but frowns to hear no sound but sees XR and XL talking. She watches but with the fuzzy footage she couldn't read their mouths but sees XL was more cautious and serious with whatever topic they had but she hoped whatever XL could tell her what it was about. And maybe she can get together with XR as it should be! 'And I can make that dreaded creep look horrible when I steal XR from him! XR is mine!' She smiles excitedly.
In XR's new home.
"This is your new home!? This is pretty sweet!" XL looks around to see despite the nature theme on the outside, there was electricity and enough for him! "So Nos's adopted father, a rich old vampire, gave you this place?" He raises a brow.
"Not exactly, He explained to me originally he wanted to give this to Nos to give him a new start but Nos didn't take it and instead stayed with him. Nosfer really wanted to help me stay close since he didn't want to have Vanet, Nos's adopted daughter, too far and be in the eye view of the city. Plus I really like the fact there's privacy so me and Nos can, you know, connect more since we haven't." he blushes a bit and goes to bring some paint he ordered for his room.
"Connect? XR you know it's a common thing for robots to connect-" XL pauses and feels his mind cracked at what his lil' brother meant. "XR you know I care about you and I love you cuz you're my brother."
XR pauses and looks at him. "I know that-"
"So I need to ask this here and now: are you getting a place just so you and Nos can have what you and 42 didn't and couldn't do? Is Nos forcing you or pressuring you? Are you really doing this just to forget 42?"
XR can understand why but this feels like No one really takes him seriously or thinks he can make his own choices. "First off, I am not doing this to get back at 42 for cheating on me. Yes I want to do things with Nos that are special but I want to be in a place that isn't anyone's business. I am going to live here because Star Command doesn't feel like home anymore and I want to find a place where I'm not harassed or being outcast for dating an agent! I love Nos and I want to be with him but I'm also trying to take things slow but it's so hard because I want to connect to Nos in ways that aren't from a cord. I know it sounds weird but being with Nos is so different! I can't explain it but I can't stop my feelings but I don't want to pressure Nos to rush into things. Cuddling and kisses are enough but I want more and Nos never was that part and I can't push him like a certain creep tried. And lastly, Nos isn't pressuring me and he asked if I want to stay in his family's house but I don't want to intrude over Nosfer."
XL was startled and shocked the way XR is and can't help but feel bad for his brother. "I'm sorry XR, I think Nos is way lucky to have you. You are an amazing guy but if Nos ever hurts you, I'll make him pay."
"Thank you but you need to keep this place and about Nos a secret. I know you already know but this DRAC guy is really bad news and Vanet needs to be protected."
"Like who am I gonna talk to?" XL rolls his eyes but saw XR was serious and he wasn't like before where he would be annoyed.
"I mean it XL, and plus if and when Nos and I get more than together, you'll have a niece." He added.
"Really?" XL was liking the title uncle as he sees XR went to paint his room. His smile fell and his mind was thinking of what to do. He can't get up and talk about Nos to team Lightyear! He can't tell his- Wait! Maybe he can! After all, pops loves them and he would do anything to help them. But he needed to meet with pops without anyone finding out. 'Pops can help him!' He knows he can't trust anyone at star command, but pops is the best! He just needed to wait for the perfect time and talk to pops. Maybe after the court thing Nos has.
"Hey XR I was thinking, maybe we can have that meet up soon."
"Really?"
"Yuppers, but Vanet has to not be there, don't want him to be using that kid as a shield." XL grins.
XR was a bit annoyed but he couldn't really argue with a crazy guy when that's his brother. "Alright but please don't tell pops about Nos or about Vanet. Not until I can introduce him" He knows he might be lying but ever since the incidents of no Space rangers around Vanet, he felt it was too coincidentally weird; and only few people know about DRAC but his pops might be a suspect so he can't tell his pops yet. But it did hurt to not talk about this to his pops and build up a secret.
"Alrighty then." XL will hold off for now but he'll find a way to talk to their pops after everything settles.
"So XL, I was thinking purple and gold for my room, what do you think about your room?" XR asked.
"My room?" XL blinks in surprise, he knew XR said he wanted to leave but he was inviting him. "You want me to live here too?"
"Well yeah of course! You're my brother and I would like it if you can stay here too. I mean I know it's unexpected but I think even you would want to live outside of Star command." XR thought it would be great if he lived here too.
"Thank you XR, but I think I want to stay at Star Command for the time being. I lived outside of it but I missed living there and I already made it home for me." XL was happy but he wasn't ready to leave the home base again.
"I understand but at least paint the room you want if you ever want to move in." XR smiles, he understood his brother and he wasn't gonna push him, but he really wished XL did move here.
"Alrighty then," XL looked around and saw a room with a view of the forest and saw it needed a charger but it was pretty good for a cabin. He sees so many colors and grins grabbing orange and a plum purple color he likes and other colors He likes and begins painting.
An hour later.
"Ok!" XR grins and looks at his work and feels he did pretty good. The walls were painted purple and the line was a yellow sunset tone and he was thinking of painting a simple silhouette of clouds and maybe stars and planets but thought of taking a break. and wonders how his brother was doing.
"Say XL, want a can of-!" He stops and sees his brother did some decorations like he thought of but it was a mural of the asteroid belt of Saturn and he felt envious of his artistic style.
"Oh hey! I was trying to finish it up." XL grins and steps out of the room. All XR did was feeling a bit envious of his brother but he had to admit he was impressed. 'Maybe I can ask him to paint a mural in my room?' He thought and went to join his brother.
"So where's Nos at? sucking at being a good guy?" XL asked.
"Actually he's having a day with Gravitina." XR answers. "Me and 'Tina made a schedule and dates of who has a day with Nos." He added. "They're probably at a trendy restaurant."
In the solar soirée, a place for high class and even powerful villains, were two besties enjoying their afternoon tea. They would look like a couple had it not been known that Gravitina's love for Lightyear was well told and the fact the man with her was the famous agent everyone was talking about that was dating a robot space ranger.
"So have you and XR been having fiery passion together~?" Gravitina had brought Nos to a high class restaurant in town as she was drinking her tea. However, despite it's value, it was nothing compared to the cove cafe.
"No," Nos answers as he drinks his oil, 'Tina's personal request for him, and is thinking about it. "How does one," he pauses feeling bashful. "I have no idea how to initiate it? I do not know if that is being too forward or fast? We started dating."
Gravitina smiles all knowing. "Have you been in private quarters to do more than just hold hands?"
Nos pauses and blushes and can tell his best friend was grinning. "Darling it's not something to be embarrassed about! If you want, how about I get you reservations to a grand opening at this casino? I can take care of Vanet while we're there." She added.
Nos hums. "Maybe not now, I do not want to pressure him and to be frank…" He can recall the moments together. "I think XR and I will dance at our own pace. I never had this experience with him, I like to enjoy everything."
"Such a romance! However, if XR breaks your heart, I will crush him." Gravitina said with an evil grin.
"I do not think XR will do that but I am afraid I will hurt him." Nos holds the cup. "I know it is the start of our relationship but I do not want to outshine him or tarnish his reputation or his friendship. It is hard enough he has to hear it from Lightyear, but he can be cornered by other space Rangers. And there is his ex." He said annoyed.
"Of course his ex will want him back-"
"His ex is here, trying to hack into the system." Nos spoke sensing a change in the system.
"Well why don't we have a talk with her." Gravitina smirks and Nos nodded, "By all means, shall I?"
"Darling, it will my pleasure since she tried to hurt my little niece with her attitude." Gravitina whirls her finger and they hear crashes and screams and soon bursting through the doors of the kitchen was 42 who was covered in sauces.
"My my, a little mouse trying to copy a bat." Gravitina smirks, her leg crossed over the other and one hand holding her tea.. "Though I must say you are interrupting my time with my bestie so state why you are trying to listen in on our conversation? Do Space Rangers not know about etiquette?" She glares at the little bot.
42 looks at the agent and smirks. "I am only here to say I caught the creep in an affair! Now I can expose you-!"
"You mean gossiping and having friend time?" Nos spoke. "Gravitina and I are working on making peace with her original world but we are having tea time at this new establishment-"
"But it is nothing much like my favorite spot!" Gravitina whines, and can see people were listening in at the great tyrant's interests. She smirks, 'Zurg may be the #1 threat, but I am powerful in society and the trends. Of course conquering as I shine.' "Your father's cafe is to die for! Since this place is infested, we should go there." She beams and gets up but sees 42 stopping her.
"You are just gonna leave?! You have answers and-!"
42 stops when Gravitina pours her cup of tea over the bot, getting tired of the taste and this little mouse. However, she will not tolerate anyone insulting her dear precious people. "Listen, little mouse, I am being generous enough to this establishment by not destroying it. You think I am a simple Villain who won't make a scene here so by all means try to push my buttons and risk the lives here." She crosses her arms.
"But she will not when she is being so respectful to me as her friend." Nos spoke up. "We will be departing now to the Cove. Good day to you 42." He holds his hand for his friend and she takes it.
"Be grateful to Mr. Atu, I would have destroyed your little tiny body and made it my new paper weight."
42 shakes and hears people whispering and talking about how an agent is respected by the infamous telekinesis power hungry villainess. She felt this was a set up but was so confused! How did they find her?! How is she using such a power without a boost?! She glares and hits the drinks but saw it wasn't coffee but-
"Oil…?" She raises a pixelated brow and was shocked to find out that the agent was a robot!? She shook in shock and yells.
Nos's ears twitched when they were still in ear shot. "I guess she found my cup." Nos shrugs and Gravitina giggles away. "So that is why you didn't finish your drink~ and I thought you were more goody two shoes~"
"It was bound to occur sooner or later and she is a chatterbox so she can deal with either ruining herself in trying to prove a fact, or she can deal with it quietly. Either way ruins her and I want to make her know how much I can do for XR." Nos was fine with the resentment and the foul rumors People would utter about him. However when it comes to his family and friends and his love, he will protect them and will make anyone who did harm suffer. He looked at Gravitina who had this look as if she was looking at something funny.
"Darling you are so soft~! I keep imagining a cute cat." Gravitina was seeing how from the first time they met to now, she saw Nos was reclusive and so defensive, she had a hard time talking to him but she could see he was not used to having friends he could trust. She was his first true friend and so was he. A man in her life who was a gentleman and kind and listens to her. She knew Nos did not fancy women and she was happy with him. They were loyal to each other and even with XR in the picture, he was there for her. 'And I hate to admit it, XR is good enough.'
"So what special does your father have for the summer?"
Nos glares at her and she gushes at him as they enter the elevator but he could not stop the smile and leans against the wall. That was when they see an enraged 42 who was running towards them but the doors closed on her. "Actually there is one he's making and he hopes his favorite patron comes to try it." He smiles but senses the elevator stops. He crosses his arms and sees 42's face on the screen.
"You think you're so smart and can be just as good as me! Well news flash I am an A.I and I can hack into anything!" She smirks and soon they feel the elevator rising. She knew he was going to be begging her to stop and was expecting that dreadful woman to be on her knees.
However,
Neither the two were freaking out, in fact they were calm and collected and even showing no fear at all. "As I said, he would like to have your opinion on it." Nos talks to her.
"I'M TALKING HERE AND I WILL NOT BE IGNORED BY TWO DISGUSTING VILLAINS!"
Both glare at her. "Do you want to or shall I settle this?" Nos asked his best friend.
"You know I am interested to see how you deal with her, bestie." She floats up and sits in mid air. "Besides, if it doesn't work out, I can just stop it." Gravitina checks her nails and gives him a sly smile.
Nos smirks and tears the covering of the panel off. He feels a shock.
"You think I'll let you hack so easily, Faker!? I'll fry your system!" 42 grins but it falters when she is the one now feeling pain.
(System alert! rejecting intruder.)
42 in the system was confused when she saw a humanoid silhouette appear in the coded system.
{So,} Nos crosses his arms and glares. {Still believe you can put up a fight?} He looked down on her with a smirk.
42 shook and looked to see the coding once green was now gold. (How- BZZT- I'm an A.I! No one can beat me here!)
{And an impressive work you do I must say but you are very sloppy. Which I find myself disappointed in. You give us hackers such a bad name} Nos literally rips the coding into a vine like cords break through the floors and walls of coding. {You only impress people by copying their work and presenting it as your own and what is infuriating is you do not even try to get creative.} He makes it wrap around her like a fly trapped in a web of a spider. {So allow me to teach you this: do not cross me.} His eyes glowed.
42 shook in fear and felt a real painful surge of power sting her painfully! She was scared, finding she was feeling actual pain. She looks to the bot as he walks over to her and she feels herself being dragged away.
(NONONONONONOONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO!) She screams in pain and fright and is hit back by the surge of the system and literally in reality. She whimpers in pain and sees the elevator go down normally but sees it has only been a minute in the real world. She curls to herself in panic and fear. 'This guy knew how to reverse the system! I looked like a fool!' She shook in fear. 'I thought he was gonna rip me apart!' She really had no idea just who this agent was and how dangerous he is for XR! And worst, she couldn't tell anyone because she broke into a system illegally and can be forced to give up her job as a Space Ranger! She felt she was played by him but something about him didn't feel right. Either way she knew she needed to seek the truth and prove her suspicions.
Nos stretches and returns the energy given and instead bites a battery XR gave him. He sees Gravitina giving an all knowing smirk. "Shut it."
"Softie, you would have devoured her into nothing." Gravitina smirks.
"And let her have proof? No thank you." He grumbles. "And I would not kill when I am showing and proving that I am a change bot." He added. "I am a father and I have a boyfriend. I want to make him proud of me." The doors open and they leave to the car Gravitina owns.
"Darling you are such a romantic." Gravitina giggles and Nos rolls his optics and smiles a bit as she drives off.
Later
Gravitina beams excitedly at the new autumn drink! It was a ginger tea latte with whole milk and it had little sprinkles designed as leaves and it was cute in her eyes. She smiles and drinks it and is already enjoying her drink. She beams happily as Nos was with Vanet at the park not far from the cove. He and Vanet were walking together when he was surprised by XR bringing him a summer bouquet.
"For you my Nosy~ I just came from a hangout with XL but I found these beautiful flowers and had to get them for you." XR grins and Nos accepts them with a smile but a frown after.
XR knows Nos loves the gift but he has a feeling something happened. "Is everything okay?"
"Something happened and I hope you do not think it was crossing the line." He wasn't feeling bad about terrifying 42 but he was worried how XR would feel.
XR understood from the look his boyfriend had on, something happened. "Wanna go to the play area so we can talk more? I passed by and there's not many people there right now."
Nos nodded and followed him to the playground and they sat on a bench as Vanet went to the jungle gym.
"Talk to me, are you ok?" XR holds his hand.
"I am alright, but I think I went overboard on 42 when she interrupted my time with Gravitina." Nos answered and was expecting his love to be shocked or surprised or worried.
"Are you ok? Why is she trying to harass you? Why was she even there?! I swear I'm gonna get her reported and suspended and a lot more from that!" XR was ranting away, and all Nos could do was be in awe.
"Are you not going to ask what I did? I did wrong as well." Nos raises a brow and sees XR stop.
"If I'm gonna be honest, 42 is the one in the wrong and whatever you did, she probably deserved it. But if it's making you feel guilty, want to talk about it or show me?"
Nos opened his port on his wrist as XR inserted The cord in before seeing everything that happened and XR was shocked, but at the same time he was amazed just how powerful Nos is. When it was over he looked at him and had a question. "How did we beat you?"
Nos was surprised before he laughed. "You are charming, Mica mea iubire. But I want to apologize for acting out that way."
XR holds his hand. "You know I'm so lucky to have a sweet boyfriend and the fact you're honest with me. It means alot you told me about this and trust me to see your memories. I love you Nos and I'm hoping to show you something soon but it's not ready yet but it will be." He grins and can tell Nos was intrigued by his little mystery.
"I can wait patiently." Nos purrs and sees Vanet came to them and was beaming to show a tarantula she found. He cooes at the adorable little arachna but XR was a bit alarmed.
"How random!" XR was creeped out by the spider and this little guy was the size of a tennis ball. He was shuddering about bugs but he was trying to be ok around them. He watches Nos hold the tarantula close and scans it.
"Oh she is carrying 100 babies." Nos was surprised.
"That many? Where's the father?" XR was shocked as he saw another one smaller than the tarantula was on his shoulder. He was tense, he was terrified until Vanet reached to take him. "Thanks sparks."
"Interestingly it is unusual for this female to not eat the mate." Nos had read about the behavior of arachnids. "But it seems he even wants to be with her." He sees the small one jumps to his arm and dances to her happily. XR hates bugs but he can see the little spider was making the bigger one happy.
"Well…. Should we keep them?" XR asked. "I mean I know Vanet loves animals and she found them and if it's a pet she can keep safe, it's fine?" He felt he might have been crossing a boundary. He waits for Nos' thinking and gave an answer.
"Vanet, do you want these two arachnids?" Nos asked her.
"Can I please?" She pleaded.
Nos nodded. "I can make a terrarium for them but it will have to be in the lab. It is bigger and by the looks of it, she'll need space but we can collect stuff for their habitat." He thought of the space he has he can use. 'This way Vanet will not get harm if they get out.' He thought, "We will need to get a courier. XR do you mind staying with Vanet?" He asked.
"I can-" He looks to see it was a shop but has spiders too. "I can stay with her." He smiles but shudders, he saw a documentary about arachnids with 42 and how they can crawl in places he didn't want to feel them inside. He sees Nos goes in and Vanet was giddy as the tarantulas were in her hand. "Hey Vanet, will spiders or arachnids go and hide in spots you don't want them in?"
"Sometimes they won't stay in places that are constantly moving." She added.
XR was relieved but at the same time he was still pretty nervous around them. "So got a name for them?"
She looked at them and thought of it. "How about Jerry and Jamie?"
"Sounds good." XR smiles and soon sees nos with a carrier that was for spiders. "Pretty good size." He Commented as Nos helps move the arachnids in the carrier. XR noticed how careful Nos is with the little guys and thought back a lot of things like the times Nos was gentle with Vanet and with him. 'Even with a rough start, Nos was pretty cautious around me. And no matter how much I got under his skin, he was really patient.' He couldn't help but imagine and relate Nos to a cat. 'Really hard to get trust out of but such a softy.' He grins.
As soon as Nos had the two arachnids in, he looked to XR and that look made him think of Gravitina when she made that remark. "I am not a cat."
XR was surprised. 'Did he read my thought process?!' "Wasn't exactly thinking that way, but more like how much you are such a sweetheart. Still tall, dark and protective and handsome." He grins and sees Nos blushing. 'Cute and such a softy.'
"Thank you, love." Nos gave a smile to him and he felt his core vibrating. 'It is definitely different when XR says it.' He carries the carrier and Vanet takes XR's hand as they head back to the cafe.

When she thought she was close the system denied her access. She glares and taps on the desk, trying to understand how she can beat the system. 'There's got to be a way.' She tried to thi
nk when she thought about the commander but she couldn't. Then a thought sparked her main program; she types and looks through the files and finds the one person who could! She just needed to get there…..
